  2. Hello, everyone. Recently, I've been trying to make use of all my spare minifigure pieces, especially older ones, to make Star Wars customs. I'm really proud of how some of them turned out. Of course, I found a bunch of yellow heads from back in the day, and put together a Jedi Master Tiplar minifigure. Everything was going well until I reached the Lekku-like part. I realized I had no yellow hairpiece, not a single one. Does anyone know what else I can do to complete the figure? It can be a brick-built design, a specific "common" piece, or in case of last resort, some kind of paper-made design. Thank you in advance! (Due to where I live, I'm unable to order anything online. So that won't be a working solution.)

  7. A long, long time ago I started working on a micro scale Millennium Falcon. To begin with all I wanted to do was add detail to the Microfighter but I kept tinkering and before I knew it I had a growing collection of micro Star Wars freighters and fighters, and here they are! Instructions for all these little builds are on my Rebrickable page. Since this all started with that Falcon Microfighter the cockpit piece (a light blueish-grey 2x2 truncated cone) became my yardstick for scale. Luckily trans-black 1x1 slope pieces work as fighter cockpits at the same scale so all the ships are, and will continue to be, as close to scale with each other as I can manage, at least based on these pieces and whatever reference images I can gather from Google. My Blockade Runner (April 2021) is the last ship on my micro Star Wars to-do list, although it’s hardly micro! The size and weight were a new challenge for me, I’ve never had to worry about a moc falling apart under its own weight before, but I enjoyed the challenge and managed to make it pretty easy to pick strong. I’ve put together instructions for the Tantive IV as well as the Liberator from Star Wars Rebels, which I couldn’t resist building for myself. Rather than doing new posts for each new ship I’ll edit the very long post below. All the instructions are on my Rebrickable page and there are photos and Studio renders some photos of the ships in this post, plus a few more on Flickr and Instagram. Thanks for looking!
  8. Hello, everybody! I live in a place where acquiring LEGO (sets or parts) is incredibly difficult due to many reasons, including the inability to buy online. I would like some ideas concerning minifigures I never had. What I would like is: -A head design for Kit Fisto (Purist, and I can apply decals for the face. I just need ideas for the tentacles.) -Luminara's hat. -Aayla Secura's twi'lek tentacles -Pong Krell's head. If any of you have any ideas, I would be extremely glad to learn from you! Thank you!
  9. Heyho folks! Last weekend I started to built this litte version of a First Order Siege Dreadnought for the "IdS-MiMi 2018 - Minimize Me" contest. Not that huge and heavy like my other MOCs but still fun and engaging ;D In this album you can find more pictures and a breakdown of this tiny ship! Greetings Kommander

  11. For a few months I've been playing around with redesigning the 10215 UCS Obi-Wan Starfighter (Delta-7 Aethersprite) with a few objectives in mind: Change the colour scheme to match Anakin's Delta-7, as per the Clone Wars animated series... but only in bricks. Improve the canopy to rear cockpit lines so that the curve is smoother and continuous. Have landing gear that can carry the weight of the set Have the option of a droid socket in front of the cockpit. Ideally this would be sized to fit the 30611 R2-D2 polybag build. As is always the case with a Lego design/build, compromises are made between style, colours, parts availability/count, function, build stability, etc. I've redesigned pretty much every aspect of the original design, with only a few core elements left untouched. The wings, engine shrouds, central hull and cockpit have all been changed extensively. I've yet to build this in bricks, so I don't know if what I've chosen so far will work. I do know that some of the pieces I've selected aren't available in the colours I want. Here's a few test renders. I'd be interested to hear anyones thoughts and feedback on how to improve this.
  12. Do you collect LEGO Star Wars sets and minifigures? Are you a Star Wars army builder? Do you need some Star Wars gifts for the holiday season? ...well, keep reading! After many years of collecting, I have amassed an extraneous collection of Star Wars LEGO builds and minifigures. When I was younger, I had some friends that collected Star Wars sets and minifigures, so I got into it with them and sort of kept it up through college. I really do not have much LEGO time anymore and my LEGO-related interest is in building MOCs mostly in the Castle theme, so this Star Wars collection is for sale. Available are three groups: PREQUELS: Episodes I, II, III (Group Price = $3000, includes builds and minifigures) TRILOGY: Episodes IV, V, VI (Group Price = $2000, includes builds and minifigures) CLONEWARS: Clone Wars (Group Price = $1000, includes builds and minifigures) All currency is in USD or United States Dollars Shipping to continental USA will be free. I would prefer not to ship this order internationally, but I may be willing to consider it at buyer's cost. This image is the first landing image in the album. I have a set list on Rebrickable that covers most of this, though please keep in mind that it is not as good a reference as the pictures. There also may be some items on the Rebrickable list that are not included in the sale, as there are a few sets I plan to keep that are Star Wars related. At the time of this posting, Rebrickable values this collection around $7500 for a very loose reference. The pictures in this Flickr album cover everything offered. They are titled based on the group they fall under. All picture titles starting with "123" are in group PREQUELS All picture titles starting with "456" are in group TRILOGY All picture titles starting with "CW" are in group CLONEWARS Pictures are in a specific order, with an overall group photo of builds or minifigures followed by detail photos where needed. Builds are shown first for each group (no minifigures included in these pictures), and minifigures for each group come after the builds. Many of the instruction booklets will be included, though they are not pictured. If you want to know specifically about the availability and condition of instruction booklets, please ask in a PM. I also have quite a few boxes for these sets, though not nearly all of them. These will be included for their respective sets. Parts and minifigures will be shipped packed in the boxes to save on shipping space. If you want to know about the availability and condition of boxes, again please ask in a PM. The descriptions should be fairly distinct about condition, though I can safely say that these are all in excellent condition or good used condition. All old, marred, nicked, bitten, discolored, etc. parts have been removed (except the cracked slave Leia torso...). Some of the older parts were played with, but most of this entire lot is an adult collection that has been built, disassembled, and stored. Some parts and minifigures are from Bricklink/eBay purchases, but I have verified that all parts are in excellent/good condition. Please note that I took these pictures in May of 2016 with the intent to try to sell then. Life got busy, and I never posted the lot for sale. Since then, The Star Wars collection has been stored in plastic tubs in my basement in the same area as the rest of my LEGO collection. Please send me a PM with any questions/interest. Feel free to make any requests, though I really would rather sell these lots complete rather than parted down. If we work out a sale, I will send a money request through Paypal with the order total. I will NOT accept payment as a gift or money to family to avoid the Paypal fee. To make it simple for the buyer, I will pay the Paypal fee from the amount I receive rather than increasing the total on your end. I am on the Eurobricks' Straight Shooters list through a few small deals and trades, though this is really a leap of trust to verify a sale of this magnitude. If interested, I could make this a superlot for sale through Bricklink, but BL will charge an additional fee for the sale, so the price would be higher. Bonus offers: Total discount of $500 on any 2 Groups (PREQUELS and TRILOGY = $4500, PREQUELS and CLONEWARS = $3500, TRILOGY and CLONEWARS = $2500) Total discount of $1000 on all 3 Groups (PREQUELS and TRILOGY and CLONEWARS = $5000) Extra pieces, incomplete sets, and minifigure parts will be included if buying all 3 Groups (PREQUELS and TRILOGY and CLONEWARS = $5000) If you would like to make offers, reasonable offers may be considered, though I reserve the right to deny any offer for any reason. Please be reasonable and respectful with any offers (well, really with any communication, please). Now, the overall pictures: PREQUEL: TRILOGY: CLONEWARS: Thanks and have a great day, Slegengr

[MOC] Sith and Jedi Battle Packs

So I went and made my own version of battle packs relating to the Sith and Jedi, sense I think those two would be good for those who want to recreate the battle in the Jedi Temple from the old republic or anything that a person need to build a army of Sith or Jedi for. Sith Battle Pack 98 pieces (minifigure 20 pieces, weapon 10 pieces, speeder 64 pieces and 4 studs) 4 minifigures (2 sith apprentice, 1 sith master and 1 sith lord (Sith Pureblood)) Model: “Now here’s the most original thing for a battle pack… a speeder” Do to the sith having lightsabers (though this pack could be the first outside of the superhero theme to have the super jumper), it’s best for the model to at least have stud shooter. While pretty much no one care about the model in battle packs and only want minifigures for army building, I wanted this battle pack to be different of having contraction parts which I think gave off a good shape for the speeder of using those 3 ultrabuild pieces though I wouldn't say the same with the tip of using those Exo-Force arms and small claw. With the use of these parts, the wings and front parts can move to find some sort of way to pose it. Jedi Battlepack 106 pieces (minifigure 20 pieses, weapon 8 pieces, Dwarf Spider Droid 39 (x2 78)) 4 minifigures (Jedi Master, 2 Jedi Knights, Padawan) Model: After I made a Sith battle pack a few months back, it would make sense for me to make a Jedi Battle Pack. But instead of a speeder for them, it’s an enemy model of the Dwarf Spider Droid, but instead of having a stud shooter, it have the ‘Power Blast’ piece that mostly been used in the Superhero theme. The head of the droid can turn, but not a full 360 do to the legs. Speaking the the legs, originally they were going to be hinge pieces, but they didn’t work so I went with the Exo-Force Arms that was used in the 2008 Dwarf Spider Droid (set 7670). Do to the size of them compare to other battle pack model, looking too small and may cost lesser than $10. So instead of building a different model, this would have 2 of them that can build up someone droid army with some Dwarf Spider Droids.
  14. This is a build inspired by someone else's MOC. Thanks for the great build, LegoLogical. The video of his build is a LOT nicer - I'm just riffing with my spare parts here. Although the Canto Bight story line from The Last Jedi surprisingly doesn't involve gambling - I'm sure TLG is going to give us a scene from this planet eventually. Likely the falthier escape instead of this casino. Once I saw this MOC I thought it was the perfect size for this location and I'm a big fan of having every film-centred location in Star Wars represented somewhere on the shelf. Although the story line's merit may be contestable - who doesn't love gambling aliens?? I should point out that this MOC was designed before TLJ Blu Ray's deleted scenes gave us a look at the facade of the casino, which has more wide, pronounced white pillars along the face of the structure and some groovy 1960's masonry. I think the build pairs pretty well with the Resistance Transport 75176, which by itself is kind of a blah display. Wanted to include as much of the casino floor as possible, tried to include the piano / bar / slot machine area, and kind of gave up trying to integrate both the casino and the bar. You see what I have here. At the moment, I'm only displaying the main square casino area on my shelf and I may junk the bar and move the colored glass directly behind my pathetic stand-in for the Master Codebreaker. (He's on a roll, you know.) If I come into a lot more spare parts that favor white, I may try and complete the build. Also, if we get do an official falthier escape set from Lego or perhaps some Canto Bight police speeders, I'll likely revisit the build. And please take a peek at what LegoLogical did - my build really doesn't do his justice. Thanks for looking.

    [MOC] Yoda

Hello, I am not posting in this forum very often, because sculpture is my main suspect. And although I am a fan, unfortunately Star Wars is not so convenient for my building style. So here is my latest creation. It is nearly lifesize (lacking 4 cm).

    THE GHOST (REBELS)

I am currently working on a Ghost MOC from Star Wars Rebels. I'm basing the design of DarthTwoShedsJackson's Ghost. I really dislike the original Lego set because its too small and has no interior. I'm making it UCS scaled and it would really help if anyone could give me some advice.

    [MOC] Midi? Jedi Council Chamber

Here's a Jedi Council Chamber at a smaller than System scale, accommodating 7 of the 12 council members with just enough space for a couple of minifigs to stand in the middle. It's riffing on the similar Coruscant theme from Palpatine's Arrest, where brick supplies allowed me to piece it together. This Jedi Council lineup is based on the positions held during The Phantom Menace. Size-wise, it's just about the amount of shelf space I can afford for this playset, but it is unquestionably a long-overlooked location for an official Lego set. Plenty of figures can be crammed in there. I was inspired to finish this up and put it on the shelf after seeing Kevii23's beaut of a build (lojaco's from Lego Ideas) here. The build of the baseplate isn't very remarkable. What I would have preferred are the new connection plates from the Carbon Freezing Chamber to complete the circle. The way I did it, using regular old 2x2 plates (and) bricks with hinges creates a circle well enough but the Lego won't connect two opposite sides together properly. The studs don't line up. I managed to use a couple of 1x2 modified with hole pieces to click into place on one end but this thing is bottom-heavy overall because of the extra weight in there. The floor's just a little off kilter, but as Jedi have no attachment / possessions, no one should lose anything down the crack, rite? I tried building it higher and possibly a roof using those big round slabs that I have too many of (i.e. from the Droid Gunship) but I want this playset to match the existing Palpatine's Arrest and this location looks best without a roof anyway. Otherwise you can't see inside easily and enjoy all the Jedi sitting in the circle. Bonus pic, here's the lightsaber rack outside the Jedi Council. "Okay, who brought the red blades?" Been trying something like this for a while with mixed results but I like where this particular build has taken me. I might decide to Bricklink new connections to make the circle more sturdy, though. For now it'll do. I'm certainly open to suggestions and criticism.

    [MOC] Jedi Council

Hi guys, Last week(s) I've been atempting to recreate the model that lojaco made as a Lego Ideas set (you can find that one here: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/115367). I've made this moc just by looking at those pictures, but I want to give all the credit to this builder. I've made pictures while building this so you can see how it was constructed. 1. The beginning This is how it al started. Finding the wedge pieces in LBG and especially Dark Red was the most difficult. The underside is almost the same as the Palpatine Arrest set (9526) from 2012. 2. We're getting somewhere 3. Getting ready for the floor After building the above I found out the there should have been a LBG layer under the Dark Red wedges so I had to remove all of those again to place some LBG plates under. 4. Almost there 5. End result After a few weeks of waiting for the pieces and some days building I can show you my 95% build of the Jedi Council Chamber. There are still some pieces missing and I need to work on some things, but it's ready for the public haha. I've really liked working on this and trying to figure out which pieces went where, how it was constructed and building the moc. Once I'm finished completely I will make my own scenes, but for now I will use the scene that was used for the Lego Ideas project. Sorry for the backgrounds.. I should get a whiteboard, lamps and stuff like that.
  22. Been playing with customizing a few minifigures lately. I know it's not a purist mod, but it's been fun to add a little extra to these. Here's the first completed, Jedi Master PLO Koon
  23. Hi guys, I have just finished another Star Wars MOC. This time I wanted to mess around with the idea of forced perspective and decided to recreate one of my favourite shots from Return of the Jedi. As with all my micro mocs I wanted to stick to the 16x16 base, which in this instance was quite a challenge but eventually I managed to find a way to fit everything I wanted into the scene. The colour palette choice for Jabba's Palace was partly based on the official lego sets of "Jabba's Palace' and 'Rancor Pit' especially the dark grey base for the Palace to sit atop but I decided to go with darker colours for the Palace itself similar to the actual scene from the film. Finally I have recently got hold of the Boushh mini fig (one of my favourites) and so wanted to incorporate her somehow. I then had the idea that Chewie and Liea would have walked the same route to get to Jabba's Palace and so changed the sky to a sunset scene to reflect the time of day they arrived at the Palace. Which do you prefer? C3P0 and R2 or Boushh and Chewie? Also I am thinking of doing some more scenes similar to this, incorporating micro builds and mini figs but wondered if people liked this style? Should I stick to the micro landscapes I have been building or do more scenes in this style?

    [WIP] T-65 X-Wing

Hello guys , I am currently working on an X-Wing moc. The focus is to get it as close to the movie version as possible ( while strictly keeping it minifig-scaled ) , without caring about action-features , play value/"swooshability" etc . While waiting for a couple of Bricklink orders , I decided to post some WIP photos of what I have so far . Do have in mind that many of the parts' colours are substitutes while waiting for the correct coloured ones ( such as the brown nose and every white piece in there ) . Lastly , I 've decided to go with light bluish grey and not white for the main colour . I know this debate has been going on forever , and fully respect the people who want it white , but for me light bluish grey not only represents the actual colour a bit better , but also provides that battle damaged - real world and not CGI feel that I love about the original trilogy ( it's a real, living world , with real vehicles and that sets it apart as the best in the sci-fi genre , imo at least ). Anyway , enough indirect prequel shots fired , here are some pictures , please share your opinions and/or suggestions (sorry about the medium-low level quality , a friend borrowed my camera so I had to make do with my phone ) . There's also and LDD file I made which I'm attaching , it's not quite the whole thing , it's more of a sketch-up of how it's going to look without caring about how everything will connect ( as it is better to find that out when physically building it , when illegal and unorthodox connection techniques can be used ) , so have a look there , as there's much more than I've shown built in the photos above ( almost the whole thing , or at least the first version of it ) . Finally , note that there's going to be a "88295" part (http://www.bricklink...colorID=66&in=A) stuck on the "85861" parts on each of the four laser-canons , they're just not available in LDD so I couldn't show it there . Please share your opinion , recommendation or any other type of feedback guys , I really need it and will truly appreciate it . Thanks for looking !
  25. This ship is one of my favourite ships from Star Wars, it's the first ship you'll ever see while watching the saga! It's 292 pieces and comes with 4 stickers on the front area. The escape pod below the cockpit will detach, and the landing gear can be tilted up or down. Overall it's quite a beautiful ship!
