  1. "This is where the fun begins!" My latest ship from the Prequel Trilogy has arrived, and it surely was a lot of fun to make: here's Obi Wan's Eta-2 Actis Interceptor from Episode III - Revenge of the Sith and The Clone Wars. This small unit consists of 281 pieces (stand included), and has one major feature: true Minifig scale! There's a handful of beautiful MOCs of this ship out there already, but most of them are based on the huge cockpit piece from the playsets, so they're drastically oversized. So here I am with a, dare I say, more accurately scaled version. It does come with a drawback, you guessed it: you can't put a fig inside. A bit ironic I know, but I chose to go for a brick-built cockpit in order to get as close to the original design as I could, prioritizing accuracy over playability, as usual. The wings were pretty challenging given the ridiculously small scale, and my goal was to have them as thin as possible without compromising the SNOT look. I'm quite happy with the result and I think this makes a nice little display piece. It's also very swooshable despite the intricate wing design. I'm usually not a fan of stickers, but I thought this one deserved some sweet markings. I used the sticker sheet from the playset - it is included in the parts list. The color scheme can be changed to red with only a few part swaps (see last page in the instructions). ► Instructions for the Eta-2 Actis Interceptor are available at Rebrickable. 2. Hello There! welcome to another purist Fig entry! Sith inquisitor Zan Helios Although a devastating force on the battlefield – Manipulating the dark side of the force to brutalize enemies Zan Helios preferred more nefarious means to defeat his adversary’s using subterfuge and cunning to undermine and expose his targets before swooping in for kill or capture. Jedi Knight – Correl Azur A Jedi from Duro – a fine pilot with strong leadership skills. Killed in battle on Felucia by General Greivous during the Clone Wars. His light saber became a fine addition to the general’s collection. General Kenobi Obi-Wan Kenobi served on the Jedi High Council during the final years of the Republic Era. Kenobi served in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. Battling against the Separatist Droid Army. Asajj Ventris Asajj Ventress was born on Dathomir, living an extremely difficult life with many different phases, she was a slave, a Jedi Padawan, Sith Assassin, a Nightsister and even a bounty hunter. Ultimately her fatal sacrifice at the hands of Count Dooku redeemed her and saved her lover Quinlan Vos from the darkside. Aayla Secura Aayla Secura -was a Rutian Twi'lek female – Originally a padawan to Jedi Master Quinlan Vos. She became a Jedi General in the republic army, commanding the clone troopers of the 327th Star Corps. She served loyally to the Republic until her demise at the hands of Commander “Bly” during the execution of Order 66. Seen here with her trusty Saber and a Jedi Holocron.
  3. The fearsome First Order strikes again! This model occupies over two square feet of your average usable coffee table space at just under (an estimated) 2000 pieces. This behemoth took over two months to design - but I'm not done yet. Before the Christmas season, I hope to have instructions completed. This model is based on the First Order Resurgent-class Star Destroyer's bridge. The original model was a measly 8x12 inches: And used only around 700 pieces. The most difficult part of this stage was creating the curved portion of the front section. This took many iterations to get right. When I had time, I would plan the wings of the bridge. The wings use around 300 pieces for the left-wing (looking from the back) and 350 pieces for the right-wing. Finally, we get to the back extension. This alone uses around 650 pieces and expands the length of the model by 25%. I knew that this would be the last section for one crucial reason: I was running out of space at this point. I wanted to focus more on figure placement for this part, so I left it mainly open while emphasizing the diorama aesthetic. It took a while but I was able to obtain all of the black bricks I needed for the back of the bridge. I think it turned out well. @Monkeyulize, if I may ask for your help designing a UCS sticker for this model, here's that question. The 1x2 technic brick is designed to be used to anchor a figure stand (coming soon) - I know it's there, don't worry. At last, the finished product. A piece fell off during transport but I found it and it's back on. I'm very pleased with this but know it can be improved. If you have any questions or critiques, please don't hesitate to post. I have but one request: stay civil. I will update this post with more design changes and processes. The Flickr album link can be found here: https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjzSuaU
  4. NEW MODELS WILL APPEAR IN THE REPLIES TO THIS THREAD Models now included in this thread: Night Buzzard Tie Dagger Bestoon Legacy UA-TT DN-25 Treadable Sea Skiff Fortitude "Lucky Lander" Xyston-Class Star Destroyer (NEW) NIGHT BUZZARD Hi all To celebrate the home release of Ep. IX here is one of the interesting vehicles form the movie. The Night Buzzard was a modified Oubliette-class transport used by the Knights of Ren. The Knights made several alterations to the Night Buzzard to better suit their tastes, such as altering the vessel's appearance to match their dark side aesthetic. The vessel's engines were also crudely modified to generate more thrust, although this took a toll on the insulation baffles, causing the Buzzard to spew noxious gas as it flew. It was well armed, with a forward laser cannon turret, a mid ship laser cannon turret, a rear heavy laser cannon turret, and rear-facing fixed laser cannons. The Night Buzzard served as the home of the Knights of Ren, as well as their transport. I have got most of the features in to this little model, although no noxious gas I’m afraid! The angles of the sides and front have been achieved by using hinge bricks. They just happened to fit together nicely after a bit of playing around. It is a little bigger than maybe I would have liked but the build method dictated that but apart from that I am really pleased with how this one turned out. It still fits on the display stand with the Knight Of Ren minifigure so it is not massive! I hope everyone is well in these trying times. Luckily LEGO can keep us busy for a while. Let me know what you think. Jon
  5. *This entry has earned 7 XP* "The Lore of Bogan describes a process of desecration, the 'bleeding' of crystals sensitive to the Force of Life during the fashioning of Sith weapons. Imagine a miracle; a gemstone that responds to the force, ruined. Violated. Made twisted and discordant. Imagine becoming so blind that you torture even things that do not live." 6. *This entry has earned 4 XP* The Cold War! A busy, populated time of suspicion and poorly-thought-out aesthetics. Back then, Korriban was the bustling hub world of the Sith Empire, a place of factories, academies, and internal politics. But not everyone had a cool job; some were just rank-and-file Sith troopers, made to walk around the blistering desert while wearing all black, ostensibly to look for spies. You want to talk about evil? It doesn't get much worse than the smell of a Sith uniform after patrol. Don't feel too bad for them though: they've killed innocents without remorse and they have terrible attitudes. On one such patrol, Trooper Cudiss finds mysterious bit of debris—a sensor package packed into a sort of probe droid head. Could the Republic be spying on Korriban? (Of course the Republic is spying on Korriban.) He must report this immediately! What Cudiss thinks is vital, urgent information actually... isn't. It is fateful for him, however. In fact, it's his dutiful reporting of this pedestrian information that will bring about his untimely, lighting-themed death at the hands of an inpatient Sith Lord who felt his precious time was wasted. (Sith have always been a petty, wasteful bunch.) So ends the story of Trooper Cudiss, may his name be always remembered. Once again, don't feel too bad. But you can feel a little bad. Such was the life of a lackey. MORE PHOTOS Thanks for looking!
  7. *This entry has earned 18 XP (x2 LTC Bonus Applied)* At the height of the old Sith Empire, the population of Korriban numbered 9.6 billion individuals. Now there are less than a thousand, and to some those thousand can hardly be called people. Thanks for looking.

    [K11 - Byss - TT] Dark Legacy

*Your entry has earned 21 XP* Excerpt from Cdr. Bannon’s log: The intel I uncovered on Scarif keeps unearthing secrets. With the assistance of a so-called Dark Side Adept, we decrypted fragments of something she called a Sith Star Chart. The map revealed the coordinates to one of the late Emperor’s observatories in the deep beneath the surface of Byss. I have few words for what we found. Even though I acknowledge there is more to the stars than meets the eye, I’ve always avoided the force. Here I was standing amidst the Emperor's deepest secrets, and once again face-to-face with the Emperor's sorcerer Lord Vader. Although by the looks of it, only his suit. This dark figure still gives me the chills. Red crystals, scrolls, and other ancient junk. Cdr. Bannon’s log - continued: The writing on the screens is gibberish to me, but maybe I can find a translator... Cdr. Bannon’s log - continued: Junk or not. Some of these relics intrigue me. I may just bring a few for further study... Cdr. Bannon’s log - continued: Our guide has served her purpose - no loose ends… *Bffwwbbzzz - sound of a red figure powering up* Sentinel Droid: Commander *grrzz-tttzzz*. Operation: Resurrection is to begin at once. *grrzz-tttzzz-tchk-tchk*. Lure the gaze of the galaxy away from *tttzzz-tchk*. Disrupt any attempts at establishing *tttzzz-tchk*. You are but one of many tools by which the new order *tttzzz* shall rise. Heed my messenger. He shall *grrzz-tttzzz-tchk-tzzzzzziiiiiiuuuu - sound of the figure powering down*. Cdr. Raath: The freck was that?! Cdr. Bannon: I’ve heard rumors about these messengers. They were a part of the Emperor's last command, sent to high ranking officers, after our loss at Endor. Seems there were more than one last order… Cdr. Bannon: Make sure we get the intel in the messenger, and the systems. Maybe we can download it into one of those protocol droids. I have a feeling there’s more to uncover... /// I've had this one in the backlog for awhile... I really want to explore more of the Emperor's secrets. After TROS i imagine his excellence had a lot more up his sleeve than just Operation Cinder and an escape to the Unknown Regions... Let me know what you think, and let's see if you can decipher the hidden messages and easter eggs... ;)
  9. Hi all I thought I would take a break from Resistance models and publish something more interesting/popular. This has actually, for the most part, been built for a while but I was just waiting for those black pointed 2 x 4 wedge plates from Bricklink from the official Sith Fighter set. The TIE/dg starfighter, also known as the TIE dagger, or the Sith TIE fighter, was a type of Sith affiliated TIE line starship that was forged in secret by forces under the command of the reborn Emperor Palpatine and seen in Ep. IX during the Battle of Exogol. The new pointed wedge plates are perfect this little ship. They also come in dark red and I was toying with adding some of these to the model to add the red edges to the panels but to hide them to show the right amount of red would have made the panels 3 studs thick and too wide so i ditched that idea. I have managed to add the little gap between the panels and the light grey part at the back from the original design of the ship. I have done this using clip plates and the 1 x1 round plate with bar. Apart from that it is a simple build and once again it is on display with a minifig - the Sith Trooper. Hope you like it. Jon
  10. *Your entry has earned 15XP* During the time of the Old Republic a Jedi task force, led by the Cathar Jedi Master Kainai, was sent to examine a powerful dark side current in the force, on the volcanic planet Sarapin, uncovered by Vodo-Siosk Baas through meditation. The current came from an ancient and very powerful sith holocron that had been activated in the depths of the forgotten temple on Sarapin. The four jedi were steadily moving deeper into the maw of darkness. Unaware but inevitably moving closer to their fatal fate... /// Seedpart is the black stud shooters making the pattern in the tile floor. The unknowing jedi moving further into the temple... To their ultimate demise... /// Let me know what you think... ;) Below is some behind the scenes and detail shots... I hope you enjoy... ;)
  11. *Your entry has earned 18XP* Jedi intrusions on Sith territory will not be tolerated... Seed part is the dark gray bars used to make the tread.

[MOC] Sith and Jedi Battle Packs

So I went and made my own version of battle packs relating to the Sith and Jedi, sense I think those two would be good for those who want to recreate the battle in the Jedi Temple from the old republic or anything that a person need to build a army of Sith or Jedi for. Sith Battle Pack 98 pieces (minifigure 20 pieces, weapon 10 pieces, speeder 64 pieces and 4 studs) 4 minifigures (2 sith apprentice, 1 sith master and 1 sith lord (Sith Pureblood)) Model: “Now here’s the most original thing for a battle pack… a speeder” Do to the sith having lightsabers (though this pack could be the first outside of the superhero theme to have the super jumper), it’s best for the model to at least have stud shooter. While pretty much no one care about the model in battle packs and only want minifigures for army building, I wanted this battle pack to be different of having contraction parts which I think gave off a good shape for the speeder of using those 3 ultrabuild pieces though I wouldn't say the same with the tip of using those Exo-Force arms and small claw. With the use of these parts, the wings and front parts can move to find some sort of way to pose it. Jedi Battlepack 106 pieces (minifigure 20 pieses, weapon 8 pieces, Dwarf Spider Droid 39 (x2 78)) 4 minifigures (Jedi Master, 2 Jedi Knights, Padawan) Model: After I made a Sith battle pack a few months back, it would make sense for me to make a Jedi Battle Pack. But instead of a speeder for them, it’s an enemy model of the Dwarf Spider Droid, but instead of having a stud shooter, it have the ‘Power Blast’ piece that mostly been used in the Superhero theme. The head of the droid can turn, but not a full 360 do to the legs. Speaking the the legs, originally they were going to be hinge pieces, but they didn’t work so I went with the Exo-Force Arms that was used in the 2008 Dwarf Spider Droid (set 7670). Do to the size of them compare to other battle pack model, looking too small and may cost lesser than $10. So instead of building a different model, this would have 2 of them that can build up someone droid army with some Dwarf Spider Droids.

    (MOC) Malachor Sith Temple Duel

From Twilight of the Apprentice: Here's a *mini* playset inspired by the climatic duel at the Sith Temple on Malachor - only Vader and Ahsoka's part of the duel for this one. No Inquisitors or moving platforms. I only used spare bits and scraps from my depleted brick stock, so that's why the build is kinda small and not really accurate with the real exterior form of the temple. If I get more black slopes for the base I can probably finish it someday. For now, it gets a great Star Wars location represented on the shelf. The SW Rebels shelf: sadly lacking in location playsets. Sorry for the quality of these snaps, my lightbox is in the shop. ;) So we've got part of the base of the temple leading to the tip of the top where there is a bit of Tron-style redness. A couple of ground features: a rectangular slab and one of those petrified black figures. Would look nice with three or four more similar features surrounding the temple. The tip of the temple lifts off revealing a very small play area, only enough to fit (cram) Vader and Ahsoka in there. There's a little Sith holocron attached to a 2x2 plate with stud in the very middle. It's a free build. I wanted to keep the color scheme limited to match the temple from the episode. Just black, dark red and red with trans-red. I used a bit of purple for the ceiling of the top of the temple... in the episode there's this awesome purple glow that coats the room when the obelisk starts sparking up during the duel. However I'm not satisfied with the application of the trans-red features here and will be trying to re-jig those over time. Maybe there should be more grills and they should be placed in rows for maximum Sith-Tron effect. Maybe someday we will see a really intricate and huge MOC based on this temple with all the trap and stuff with Maul, moving platforms, etc. For now I just wanted a space to display Vader and Ahsoka together from (A-Wing vs Vader's TIE) together. I also really wanted to place the obelisk (which speaks to Ezra and Kanan) but it just wouldn't fit at this reduced scale. I did manage to get the Sith holocron in there, something for Ezra to take. TLG has poisoned me into adding the obligatory play features! Feedback of any kind for this little build is encouraged, but I've even more stoked to see someone else take a stab at this scene/playset. Since Rebels is ending Monday, now is a great time to pay tribute to a series that gave us some great new Star Wars builds to play with.
  14. Hello everyone! It's my first time ever sharing any of my animated films here, so I thought I'd share some of my newest films of my first series called: STAR WARS INQUISITION Set before the events of A New Hope, the Empires hunts down the remnants of the Jedi who had escaped the Order 66 purge. The Emperor would form an order of Force Users known as Inquisitors to find and bring the Children of the Force to the Darkside or let them share the same fate as the Jedi. These are the stories of the Inquisitors and those who were a part of the Inquisition. Star Wars Rebels: Inquisitor Mara Jade by AJV777, on Flickr Star Wars Inquisition: Child of the Force (on Youtube) by AJV777, on Flickr STAR WARS Ruins of the Sith by AJV777, on Flickr See them all here: I hope you all like them and would appreciate hearing what you all think. Stay tuned for more in the future! :)
  15. Lego Star Wars Origins: Episode 1 - Chancellor's Arrest Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum. I was a member here around six years ago or so but I forgot my password and login. Anyways, I thought I'd make my first real post and share a small brickfilm/stopmotion project I have recently completed. Bear in mind this video lasts for around four and a half minutes of animation which took me around two days to shoot and two or three days to edit the individual images and final video along with the credit roll and introduction. I plan to continue this series by incorporating my own story lines or recreating famous duels anywhere in the universe after the arrest of Palpatine. I hope you enjoy the film and possibly subscribe to my Youtube channel if you wish to see more brickfilms from me. Thanks a lot!
  16. I would like to introduce the battle pack "The sith of the Old Republic". This is the temple of Onderon, where Freedon Nadd sleeps in the meditative stasis. And lots of sith arrive at this place and tell the old lord about their dark actions. Battle puck includes the minifigures: Freedon Nadd and three sith-warriors. May the dark side be with you!
  17. Hello everyone. Here is my third and final entry for the Revenge of the Sith Community Build: Plo Koon's Jedi Starfighter. My previous entries can be found here and here. About a month ago, Jason C. Hand posted this: his own updated version of seniorgronk's Delta-7 Aethersprite-class Interceptor, commonly known as the 'Jedi Starfighter'. Seeing that inspired me to have a go myself, and here is the result... I started with the stock JSF model that was seen piloted by Obi-Wan Kenobi in Attack of the Clones, and then modded it to make the version seen being used by Plo Koon in Revenge of the Sith. Unfortunately, and very sadly, the Jedi Master was shot down while flying this ship by his comrade Captain Jag, when Chancellor Palpatine commanded the execution of Order 66. I have, of course, made a few mods and recolours to the ship which I will post shortly, so stay tuned! LXF File (warning - due to some possible dodgy techniques according to LDD, the file is subject to slow performance and crashes) Please do not re-use the file or images without my permission. Thank you for looking. All comments are welcome.

    [MOC] Sawblade Speederbike

"Whatever I cannot catch on foot, I will seize with the Sawblade." - Darth Cil Ah, finally, more time for MOCs! After seeing Bob's speeder, I just knew I had to make my dream of a single-column speeder be a reality! It's also heavily influenced by Darth Maul's Bloodfin, and I tried making it the slimmest I could Darth Cil is quite fond of the Sawblade, as he is with all fast traveling crafts.

Sith War Droid Mark I MOC

Assembling all Republic Troopers and Sith Troopers from several Old Republic Battlepacks I felt that instead of that speeder they should have included a Sith War Droid as seen in the game trailers. So I decided to build one myself in scale to the minifigs. I've not seen a lot of these around the internet, so this was an additional incentive. The legs proved to be tricky, but I'm very pleased with the result. Here we go: And a size comparison to Malcolm: Nothing huge, but I hope you like it.
  21. Star Wars Episode VIII - Ice Field Chase Ten years after the destruction of the second Death Star, Luke Skywalker and Kyle Katarn are building up the New Jedi Order. They had just christened the first two Jedi starfighters when they are called to the planet Taanab to oversee negotiations for the New Repubic. One of the ambassadors is assassinated by an unknown Sith and the ensuing chase leads into the ice field surrounding Taanab's moon. (Imagine the music played while the Falcon navigated the asteroid field in ESB while viewing.) You can find clearer, larger, and additional photos of the starfighters and some of their functions in my flickr stream here. I figure if there was a chase through an asteroid belt in Episode II and a chase through an asteroid field in Episode V, then there will be a similar scene in Episode VIII. I'm predicting an ice field this time. Best of luck to everyone in the contest, a lot of good entries.

    The Jedi Temple

Hello everyone. It seems the inspiration for my Revenge of the Sith Community Build entry came far quicker than it did for The Phantom Menace Build, and it didn't come at all for the Attack of the Clones Build (), so I set to work straight away when the idea came to me last night. Over the past week I've been rebuilding and updating my Architecture sets for the Eurobricks Official Set LXF Index, and so I suppose I was still in that frame of mind whilst deciding on what I would build for this project. I therefore decided to combine two of my favourite LEGO themes: Star Wars and Architecture, and create the Jedi Temple in the style of a LEGO Architecture set. It is, of course, much bigger and less accurate () than any previously released Architecture sets, (though I'm pleased to say that I think it may be more accurate than some past Star Wars sets ), but I still think it fits the theme well enough. Even though it's a digital model and the Laws of Physics don't have to apply, I tried to build the model in a way that made it structually sound enough to be built with real parts, although many are not available in the colours I used anyway. The building is hollow with no interior, save for a few supports. A close-up of the top and spires. A close-up of the main entrance. -------------------- Front and plan views with part outlines. I spent a couple of hours last night and a few hours today making it, so it is a quick MOC, but hopefully not rushed and sloppy. It is comprised of 2424 parts (coincidentally 24 is my favourite number! ). I'm aware that the scale is not right in certain areas: the ziggurat is probably too tall for its width, and the towers on top are probably too large, and so I may modify it a little more before the deadline, so I'll consider it a WIP for the time being. LXF File Please do not use the file or images without my permission. Thank you for looking. All comments are welcome. PS. This model is now uploaded to LEGO Cuusoo here. Your support and comments are greatly appreciated!
  23. Hello everyone. Once again, I present to you my second entry for the Eurobricks Revenge Of The Sith Community Build, my first being the Jedi Temple. My entry is a mosaic of my favourite clone commander, Commander Gree; one of the not-so-many clone troopers to fail at executing Order 66, allowing Jedi Master Yoda to escape and flee Kashyyyk. A version without the part outlines and background... You may remember some other similar mosaics that I posted here a while ago of Phase I clone commanders. This new mosaic is twice the size and comprises of 5847 1x1 tiles... I just this would be another simple entry to the community build that's quite different to the other entries posted so far. LXF File Please do not use the file or images without my permission. Thank you for looking. All comments are welcome.
