  3. Hi guys At first, we want to introduce ourselves: We are three excited Lego builders: Budo, Paliason and Bedo. Each of us has built many of our own MOCs in the past. Before the recent, we decided to do something together. The main condition was to do something untraditional, original and with many details. This is the Lego project, which we will introduce to you now. It is the scene from the PC game Command & Conquer: GENERALS and its expansion ZERO HOUR. Three factions fight against each other: USA, CHINA and GLA. USA: CHINA: GLA: Our common goal is to make a large map of approx. 6.25 square meters and on it the combat scenes of vehicles and the infantry of all three opponents. The map will also include several civilian objects (farm, houses), industrial buildings (Oil derricks) but also large USA base. The model will be dedicated to exhibitions and commemorations of the great PC game C&C: GENERALS, at this year's 15th anniversary of this masterpiece. 5. Welcome to the Gran Military Encyclopedia of Oleon! Here you can admire the might of our soldiers, from their boots to the tip of their plumes. This thread aims to collect some information about the glorious Army of Oleon: during the years you saw several units of our Nation, from colonial militias to the ubiquitous line infantry, from the famed Mousquetaires du Roi to semi-legal Volunteer Corps. Here you will find a collection of them, with a brief description and the glorious history of their deeds. Most of the units depicted exist in EGS terms, but this is not an absolute requirement: if you want to show the border cavalry of the Varcosian Border, the Royal Guard of Granoleon or other units way far from the Brick Seas, you are welcome to do it! For the citizens of Oleon who want to contribute: please follow the general outline described in the spoiler Vive le Roi! Unit index Militia Units recruited locally, both in the motherland and in the colonies. Formed by willing citizens or peasants, the main function of a militia is the defending a city or a province from both foreign aggressions and internal menaces, such as bandits or riots. These non-professional soldiers often wear odd uniforms, strongly influenced by local elements. Although they are often considered poor fighters, militiamen proved their worth in several occasions, especially during Corrish invasions and along the turbulent Western Border 1ere Compagnie Milice Coloniale de Fort Arltrees Tyree'dee Warriors 4e Regiment de Triallieur Dionysian Line infantry The backbone of Madrician armies. These soldiers march in a line towards the enemies and, when they can almost see the white of their eyes, they fire a barrage of bullets with their flintlock musket. The Thin Blue Line (or Red, Green or Yellow, according to the nation) is considered capable of enduring any attack, from cavalry charges to screaming hordes of natives. Although these units look very similar, training, discipline and experience make the difference in a battle: the victory will always belong to the soldiers who can fire faster and better, who can keep the formation regardless fear and losses, who can bayonet-charge the enemy even under a rain of bullets! Légion de Mardierennes, 1ere Compagnie La Légion Etrangère Infanterie de Ligne, 3e Compagnie de New Oleon Infanterie de Ligne, 3eme ("du Roi") Armée de l'Orient Light infantry Traditional doctrines consider light infantry only an auxiliary force to "true" infantry, with the only function of screening allied units and harassing enemy forces. However, especially in the unusual colonial scenario, these light infantry proved to be by far more useful. These soldiers are trained to move and fight in small, agile units, acting independently far from the main body of the army: therefore, they can easily fight in woods or jungles, where the rigid line infantry doctrines would be useless. Light infantry is sometimes equipped with rifles or carabines, rather than with long muskets, and is often employed in difficult missions, such as long-range recognition or raids in areas controlled by the enemies. Volunteer Expeditionary Force 4eme Infanterie du Bois 1ere compagnie chasseurs coloniaux de Astrapi Tirailleurs de Guelph Chasseurs a pied 11eme Compagnie 1ere Légion Pénale Jiangkai tirailleurs Jiangkai chasseurs The Sisters of Our Lady of Artemis Huntresses of Artemis Grenadiers Elite soldiers, trained to throw explosive grenades against the enemies. Despite the name, these soldiers usually fight with muskets and represent a sort of crack force on the battlefield: these soldiers are imposing, aggressive and skillful. No matter if grenadiers are attacking you with muskets, grenades or bayonets... the best option for you is running away! 4eme Pompiers "Les Feuyens" Heavy infantry Until the end of the Forty-Nine Years War, heavy infantry dominated the battlefield: muskets were still slow to load and inaccurate, so battles were often won by pikes, swords and halberds. Even if these units may look antiquated, with their iron morions and heavy armors, they still represent a threat on the battlefield: if they can get close enough to the enemy, they will likely prevail in melee combat. Moreover, armors proved to be very effective in the fights against the natives: their arrows and wooden sticks, in fact, can't simply pierce iron plates! Knights Treasurer Foot Soldier Pioneers/Military engineers Building forts and ramparts, but also roads and bridges, are complex tasks that require specialized soldiers: although they are not properly a fighting force, engineers are often determinant for the victory. Moreover, they often build "civilian" infrastructures in newly colonized areas, therefore contributing to the development of the Empire. The sappers, a specialized branch of the corps, have a completely different role: they must open a safe passage across enemy defenses, a dangerous job that often involves fightings with the enemies. Ingènieurs du Roi, 2eme Compagnie Breshaun Sapeurs-Pompiers Intelligence and transmissions Corps de Transmissions Police and Inquisition La Force Publique La Gendarmerie Royale Naval infantry/Marines Naval infantry and marines represent the joining link between naval and land-based warfare. These units are trained to fight on the decks of ships, but also for landing operations: these brave soldiers go ashore with little rowing boats, often under enemy fire, to conquer strategic positions (such as ports or coastal batteries) or to secure a safe bridgehead for large scale operations. Moreover, marines are also an excellent light infantry, since each platoon and even every single soldier is used to move and operate independently from the others: a forced choice, since tide and wind may scatter a small landing force along miles of the coast! Troupes de Marine Fusiliers Marins Light cavalry Derived from the nomadic raiders of the westernmost nations and from the tribal cavalry of Guelph, it represented for a long time something unusual in Madrician nations. Due to its excellent mobility, this cavalry is perfect for exploration, attacks to enemy supply lines, or chasing down routed enemies. While using these units for a frontal attack against squares of infantry is probably a suicidal move, light cavalry is useful on the battlefield too, for example, to charge moving or unprepared enemy units: even if musket and bayonet give a theoretical advantage to foot soldiers, the mere sight of spears and swords approaching at a frightening speed may easily make him run away! Chevau-légers Lanciers Méharistes, 1e New Olean Compagnie Hussars D'Oleon Chevau-leger Lanciers de New Oleon Heavy cavalry Heirs of the ancient knights, who dominated the battlefields for centuries (from the end of the Empire to the War that Time Forgot, but also later), these soldiers have a simple task on the battlefield: run directly towards the enemies and crack their formation with mere brute force. Even if the golden age of the knights is over, a charge of heavy cavalry can still decide the outcome of the battle. With heavy swords and imposing horses, heavy cavalry smashes into enemy units, opening its way with cold steel; despite this, several soldiers are equipped also with pistols, or short carabines particularly useful for close-quarter fights. Courassiers Mounted infantry Mounted infantry, as the name suggests, is something between infantry and cavalry: these soldiers ride small and fast horses, similar to the ones of light cavalry, but fight mainly on foot. Due to their mobility and versatility, mounted infantry represents a useful resource on the battlefield, but also for irregular and "less honorable" tasks, such as hunting for elusive enemies, raiding enemy territory, or even repressing riots. Dragoons Artillery Probably the strongest argument you can bring to a discussion. Artillery alone can win battles, breaking enemy attacks or weakening defensive lines. Artillery is divided into several sub-specialties, such as foot artillery, siege artillery, or horse artillery. The underlying idea, however, is always the same: take a cannon, bring it near enough to the enemies, and tear them apart with a rain of fire and iron! [MOC] Lego M3 Bradley IFV

My version of the M3 Bradley IFV. It is classified as an armored reconnaissance and scout vehicle. The M3 is fielded with two-man 25mm Bushmaster Cannon turret with a coaxial 7.62mm machine gun, and also carries more TOW missiles. The Bradley is highly capable in cross-country open terrain. The Bradley is designed for reconnaissance and to transport a squad of infantry, providing them protection from small arms fire, while also providing firepower to both suppress and eliminate most threats to friendly infantry. It is designed to be highly maneuverable and to be fast enough to keep up with heavy armor during an advance. 10. Previously: Where a goat can go, a man can go, and where a man can go, he can drag a cannon. Somewhere on the hills, El Oleonda, August 622 The siege of Seawatch had already lasted several months, but the defenders were carrying on, in one way or the other. A small group of agents of Le Service Secret, who had infiltrated the settlement a couple of weeks before the siege, was coordinating the defenders' efforts. The garrison was small, but well-trained, and could rely on a few batteries of powerful Essian howitzers to keep the Lotii artillery at bay. Moreover, while the siege was completed in the first weeks, the blockade was constantly defied by small sloops: brave captains used the cover of the storms to outmaneuver the large Lotii junks, delivering food and gunpowder to the defenders. Without external help, however, Seawatch was clearly doomed, and a final Lotii assault seemed only a matter of time... and, after Seawatch, Fort Arltrees was the next in the line. This seemed a good reason to drag those cannons under the tropical sun of El Oleonda. In preparation for a large-scale assault, a column of soldiers left Fort Arltrees for the interior: the plan is to open a road across the hills, so that the incoming attack could arrive from a completely unexpected direction. The Corrish attack to Aurelia had taught an important lesson to Oleander strategists, and now it was the turn of the Lotii to receive an unpleasant surprise! Even if the mission was mainly opening the way and establishing and advanced stronghold, the column is equipped with a few 6-pounder field cannons. The carriage was lightened as much as possible, but a cannon is not exactly a lightweight, especially on a mountain trail! The soldiers, volunteers drawn from various light infantry units, know that their efforts would be rewarded in case of unpleasant encounters with Lotii outposts: a cannon is always a strong argument in a skirmish! Now the soldiers of the Empire were marching up the hill, panting and cursing, but always going forward. They had no luggage carts or ammunition carriages: to move faster and remain unnoticed, every soldier carried some supplies, a bag of gunpowder or, for the most unfortunate, a few cannonballs. General Tristan Rimbaud, the commander of the detachment, looked proudly at his men. During his childhood, he had always read a lot about the soldiers of the ancient Empire, the legendary legionaries: according to the chronicles, they often won by marching for weeks with armour, supplies and even the poles to fortify the camps, attacking the enemies where nobody expected. But he didn’t need the soldiers from remote times, he had something better: chasseurs and marsouines, the elite of the Empire… or, at least, the best troops available! He didn’t trust at all, instead, the man at his side. He didn’t know his name or rank, but he was the liaison officer with the secret services. For what Tristan knew, he had sent without hesitation the group of agents in Seawatch to a certain death. The Services were known to have little scruples, and to sacrifice whatever they considered necessary for the Nation… and Tristan was not particularly willing to become a martyr of Empire! Additional pictures: Note: while EGS troops have not moved yet, this build should pave the ground for the offensive towards Seawatch. The design of the troupes de marine, the marsouines, was first introduced by @Khorne (as several other great units) during the Terraversa campaign.
  11. As Jiangkai grew and became a real city, a company of tirailleurs was recruited among the inhabitants to defend the settlement. The tirailleurs are units of light infantry -typical of the Oleon Royal Army- that fight with flexible tactics and open formations, taking advantage of the rough terrains. Differently from l’Armée de L’Orient, formed by soldiers of Lotii origin but fully integrated in the regular army, the Jiangkai tirailleurs are organised as an auxiliary light infantry unit. Quite unusually, the officers are drawn from La Royale (the Royal Navy), and usually have a past in the merchant fleet: this may be unorthodox, but they are probably the only officers who can fluently speak both Oleander and Lotii, at least until the first Jiangkai volunteers will graduate in Breshaun Royal Academy. While the tirailleurs were undoubtedly loyal to their new king and country, most of them were not enthusiastic about fighting against their former motherland, and they were considered a law enforcing unit more than a real fighting force. Things changed, however after the raid of May 622. The Lotii soldiers sacked Jiangkai even more brutally than they would have done with an enemy settlement, killing those who had remained behind and trying to set every building on fire: only the stubborn resistance and the sacrifice of the fort garrison spared most of the population from the massacre. As the tirailleurs organised the evacuation of the civilians from the city, they instead lived to fight another day. Now the citizens on Jiangkai know that they can’t expect no mercy from their former countrymen. The tirailleurs will fight for their honour and for revenge, on El Oleonda and beyond. The tirailleurs concept and design are heavily based on @Khorne’s early sketches of “Asian” troops, even before the Lotus Empire appeared in our world. With this build, a new platoon of soldiers is raised in Jiangkai. EDIT: As Jiangkai is still a town, only 10 (and not 30) men can be recruited in each turn
  12. Shepherds Simon and Sarah and their flock of sheep 1 sheep, 2 sheep, 3 sheep, ... . That looks correct. It's a beautiful Monday morning. Or Tuesday? Or Wednesday? For the sheep, all days were the same, and for Simon the shepherd, actually, too. Together with his sister Sarah they started a sheep farm here in Damaborg. From MAESTRO they got a nice piece of land at the end of the settlement, Near the wooden ramparts. Which was ideal, because under the walkways Simon made stalls for his sheep. So it was a nice morning. In the distance, some murmurs sounded and marching footsteps approached. Sarah!!! Sarah recognized the voice, dropped everything, and ran to the fence of the fence. Maarten! Maarten had just returned from a reconnaissance mission. Along with a reconnaissance company, he marched to The Intelligence Headquarters. He received permission from Captain Bert to leave the marching procession and go to his wife Sarah already. After days in the unexplored territories, he was so happy to fall in the arms of Sarah. He could not wait to have a good pint of apple cider as he has so many experiences and stories to tell his wife and brother-in-law. (New part of story 24/3) Simon smiled seeing his brother-in-law and Sarah hugging. Simon arrived just in time as well. The first sheeps could be sheared and the fresh wool has to be sent to the cloth makers of Damaborg. Decent and warm clothing could be very important the moment the bigger exploration missions will start. Simon looked again to his sheep. A moment of sadness fell over him knowing that some of his sheep will be slaughtered soon for meat. He knows it is a part of the job, but still it is the part he doesn't like. Oh well, Simon is happy the sheep can at graze peacefully without any sorrows right now. --- Thanks for watching (and reading if you had the time)! C&C welcome :) It was a very fun moc to make and happy I could do something with those sheep I discovered that you can place them diagonally as well, wich is genius of LEGO! will be licenced as a medium plantation. I could have expanded the grasslands with green baseplates and what vegetation, but to be honest, I didn't see the plusvalue of it.
  13. A new LEGO custom minifigure that I have included into my collection. I am glad to show you the Kaligula. Kaligula was the Governor of one of the Northern Lands. He did not bring anything good to his lands during his reign that was cruel – reprisals, vice and immorality. He wrote himself into the bloodiest pages of the Lego Custom Undead World. Dark Forces quickly noticed a Tyrant carried away by Dark Magic and lured him to the Dark Side. Kaligula accepted the primacy of Darkness, quickly and brutally cracked down on the new ruler who took his place and continued his atrocities in his native lands in the form of the Terrible Dark Magician. No one else wanted to fight for power any more because he knew that he would be instantly destroyed by Kaligula who fiercely did not tolerate any rivals and always crack down on with them quickly and brutally, only feeling a threat to himself. The lands lost their Governor and faith in a bright future for a long time. Kaligula became a shadow overseer of his lands and the Army of Darkness got into its ranks another strong Magician controlling the part of the territory of the Kingdom. 14. Welcome, Friends! I am glad to present you my new handmade work – Guldan LEGO custom minifigure. Having grown up weak and sick, the sickly orc Gul'dan, once expelled from his native clan, will return later to wipe it off the face of the earth forever. Being rejected by the Spirits of the majestic remains – the Throne of the Elements, Guldan will hear a mysterious whisper which will later change the balance not only on Draenor but also far beyond its borders. It will make Guldan the most powerful orc warlock who will receive the immense power of fel magic and almost unlimited power overall in exchange for eternal service to the forces of Darkness. LEGO does not officially produce Lego Warcraft sets. But Lego series have Orcs, Trolls, Goblins, Dwarves, Elves and other fantasy characters. And LEGO fans have a fantasy. Therefore, Lego Warcraft fans have already been making Lego Customs on Warcraft for a long time. World of Warcraft is an amazing fantasy universe which is older than a lot of its fans. «Guldan», «fel magic» – everyone knows these words, even those who do not play computer games and those who are not interested in Fantasy themes. Warcraft is the universe for all time. Many years have passed since its inception, but the fans have not gone. Warcraft, without any doubt, is one of the pillars of fantasy worlds and deserves respect. I wanted to join this world once again by creating my own Guldan LEGO custom minifigure Guldan belongs to Shamans in the Lego Custom Undead Universe. 16. Been ages since I posted something here, but this one just had to be added. I never thought this day would come. I really thought 2020 would take this from me, but jokes on it! My last order got in on December 24th! So, let's get this one started! Back in 2013, I made this bad boy. It's the Dwarven "Fury" Siege Tank for my dwarf army. Well, I kept it for a long time. I always had plans to revisit this MOC because, well... it really sucks. I mean, it's open top, the mechanics are really bad, and overall never quite matched my ideal siege tank. So, I decided to go back to my initial inspiration: Grabbing this picture and a better idea of how to proceed, I darted off to Stud.io, and slaved away to bring you... The Dwarven "Fury" Siege Tank 2.0 Bigger, badder, and just overall more pleasing to me, I'm quite proud of this one. Compared to 1.0, this version features a much better system for fuel generation. It's easily accessible, and allows for additional tools to be stored. The only downside, as with all of the dwarven artillery, the tank has its inherent flaws. While refueling is easy, it also creates a HUGE weak spot to be exploited. Correct faction colors have also been added! The army of Faermoore is dark red and red, not blue and gold. Though the cannon is smaller, the overall turret is just a massive upgrade. I even added a spyglass and a cloth roll for a little bit of details. A hatch was also added for easy access. The front is no longer a terrible ram, but rather a sloped, spiked, front plate. The grills are windows, allowing the driver to see outside. As for the two red 1x3 plates, let's just say some decals are intended to go there. OH! And MOC'ing features have also been added! Steam can come from the steam tank and the cannon can actually be shown shooting. Additionally, trans-clear pieces can be added to show ammo flying across the field. So that's another bonus! Following my earlier system of 3-5-7 (three heavy, five medium, and seven light), three of these tanks were made to further the war effort. And that's all for now! Just happy to have crossed this off of my "To-Do" List for 2020. Hope you all enjoyed! As always, C&C is welcome and appreciated! - Nick

    Legions of the Damned

Hello everybody, this is my first MOC presented here. Hope you will like it. ;) I really want to build something like that for a whole year. I was playing Heroes V during Fall 2017 and I was astonished how good was the design od Inferno units. Finally found some time (and I was out of yellow parts so couldn't increase my WH40k Orkz army :P ) and started to build... and after several days it was ready. :D Those army is inspired by many computer games I played or used to played when I was younger. Mainly Heroes V but also Disciples II (that's where the title comes from), Diablo and - of course - Khorne aspect of Chaos from Warhammer. Imp highly inspired by basic Inferno unit from Heroes V. Summoner. I don't remember when and where I spotted that arms technique. It was many years ago and it was bad guy from Orient Expedition: China. Two demonic Gargoyles. Figbarf. I'm not so sure about the black guy on the right. Basically, he seems to black for me. Need to work with him a bit, maybe add some dk red. Chariot. I really enjoy burning mane effect I got. :) Demonic Wyvern mounted by a Warlock. At Flickr I was asked about another angle, thought that was good idea,so here you are. Horned Demon that started whole army. And the "family picture": Check my Flickr account for more. C&C welcome. ;)
  19. Greetings! It’s been forever since I last put up a post but I’ve finally gotten round to making some more ‘mechs! Rather than make a new topic for each one I’m going to keep adding more and more to this, and I’ve even remembered to take some work in progress pics as well which I will try and add as I go along as there’s always room for tips! And now, first up is the SPN-Ae “Egyptian” https://imgur.com/a/9jLXfTC A slight challenge but a very pleasing build over the course of several months (I get about 15-20 mins free build time most week days) and I’m very satisfied with the end result. I think the shaping is good, streamlined, and putting in the orange was a big step for me in deviating away from the more plain colours. A lot of all the new parts I have to build with have come from the recent City Space range and that’s largely where the colour scheme comes from, and I’ll often not use stickers if I’m buying sets purely to build with but I think they work well here and add something to the builds. I still need to fill a gap on the inside of each leg, just in front of the joint. I need either a single square stud or to change a piece on the inside to fill it. The other change I may make is to fit a ball joint on the two shoulder stud launchers to allow them to move a lot more. As always; thoughts, comments, constructive criticism. Like all my mech builds this one is also loosely based off of a dinosaur, any guesses as to which one? Bonus WIP pictures for it that I forgot to upload at the time: https://imgur.com/a/Jyz8gdJ
  20. June 620, El Oleonda With their contract to hunt down Lotii forces fulfilled, the remaining Black Fang Rangers rendezvous at their predetermined rally point, and begin the trek through the jungle back to the western shores of the island, where their transport ship is waiting to return them to New Nassau. Each Ranger carries in his pack the canine teeth of every Lotii soldier killed by their hand. While more civilized people may be appalled by such an action, the Rangers do this to provide proof of their kills, for both each other, and for any possible benefactor, in this case the Carnite empire. Unit: Black Fang Rangers Type: Rangers, specializing in guerilla and irregular warfare Uniform: Black jacket with yellow trim, green undershirt and trousers, brown wide-brimmed hat. Officers substitute black sleeves for green. Equipment: Brown/black/gray packs, latest model of flintlock muskets, hatchet or machete for cutting through brush and jungle, secondary melee weapon such as a cutlass or knife. Unit Description and History: The Rangers are the only unit of the Black Wolf Company comprised solely of native Vikendians. Its ranks are filled with skilled trackers, forestmen, and guerilla fighters among the Amarok people. Each member was hand selected by their leader, Gunnar Haraldson. Haraldson is widely regarded as the best tracker in Vikendia, and is a brilliant tactician. He still dresses in traditional Vikendian ranger garb. Haraldson's reputation commands a deep respect from his fellow rangers. All of his men are devoted to him, and follow without question. For Ragnarrson and the Black Wolf Company, the Rangers are the most trusted and valued unit in the company. With only native Amarok soldiers, they are above reproach and cannot be tempted by meddling imperialists to spy or otherwise divulge valuable information. The Rangers operate independent of the rest of the Black Wolf Company forces, often deploying ahead of the main forces, or on side missions to distract the enemy. Their guerilla warfare skills make them exceptional at disrupting enemy supply lines and convoys, along with planning ambushes and sabatoge missions. Although recently arrived in Terra Nova, the Rangers quickly acclimated to the warmer climate and jungles, as other than temperature, they are very similar to the dense forests of Vikendia. Many of the Rangers are veterans of multiple wars in Vikendia. Because of the tribal makeup of the continent, there was almost always some sort squabble occurring at a given time between the many clans. For the Amarok, the most recent conflicts were the Great Nordian War, and the Invasion of the Laikan Peninsula. In both cases, the Amarok had to defend their homeland or property from a larger invading force, and utilized many ranger and guerilla units to wreak havoc on the invading enemy, eventually cutting off the bulk of the army leaving them without support to face the main Amarok forces. Haraldson forged his reputation during these conflicts, as a fearless warrior and tactician, fighting alongside Ragnarsson against their enemies. Being so far from home, without a reasonable supply of reinforcements, Haraldson has been keenly watching the training of the new recruits, looking for any that show promise to become rangers.... ___________________________________ The whole unit.
