  1. "This is where the fun begins!" My latest ship from the Prequel Trilogy has arrived, and it surely was a lot of fun to make: here's Obi Wan's Eta-2 Actis Interceptor from Episode III - Revenge of the Sith and The Clone Wars. This small unit consists of 281 pieces (stand included), and has one major feature: true Minifig scale! There's a handful of beautiful MOCs of this ship out there already, but most of them are based on the huge cockpit piece from the playsets, so they're drastically oversized. So here I am with a, dare I say, more accurately scaled version. It does come with a drawback, you guessed it: you can't put a fig inside. A bit ironic I know, but I chose to go for a brick-built cockpit in order to get as close to the original design as I could, prioritizing accuracy over playability, as usual. The wings were pretty challenging given the ridiculously small scale, and my goal was to have them as thin as possible without compromising the SNOT look. I'm quite happy with the result and I think this makes a nice little display piece. It's also very swooshable despite the intricate wing design. I'm usually not a fan of stickers, but I thought this one deserved some sweet markings. I used the sticker sheet from the playset - it is included in the parts list. The color scheme can be changed to red with only a few part swaps (see last page in the instructions). ► Instructions for the Eta-2 Actis Interceptor are available at Rebrickable. [MOC] TIE Interceptor

Hi everyone! today I want to show you my new, little MOC :) TIE Interceptor 853 parts with display stand This is another TIE in my collection, I built it in a few days. I was based on my previous Outland TIE Fighter. I really like the Interceptor, I really like its aggressive and dynamic appearance PDF Instructions is ready if you are intrested ask me on kozlowski.michal86@gmail.com Project is also available on Rebrickable: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-113652/EDGE OF BRICKS/tie-interceptor/#details More on my youtube here:
  3. Hello there! Here is my second iteration of one of my favorite ships of Star Wars -- the Delta-7 Aethersprite Delta-7 Jedi Starfighter. @khatmorg & @atlas_er are big influences on this design -- especially the cockpit area of @khatmorg's, and the wings by @atlas_er. Biggest difference in mine is the overall length; it's shorter by two studs (which I think is more accurate). Making it a little smaller in comparison, but still has a lot of detail. Overall I'm really happy with how it came out. I tried my best to eliminate all gaps, and make it smooth as possible. I've very proud of the green accent on the back wings, and how I was able to keep the front wing/hood area smooth. The only thing I'm bummed about is that I couldn't squeeze in rear landing gear, but I love how the smooth underside came out. And the little bit of stickering on the back section to better convey the curve of the green. It's quite sturdy, but it does have some weakish points in the design. Thanks for checking it out! 4. Hi, here's another one of my recent MOCs. It's a Liberator-class starfighter from Star Wars: The Old Republic in UCS size. The Galactic Republic used it against the Sith Empire, which also knew it as Talon Fighter. The wings can be folded to two positions (similar to the U-Wing from Rogue One). This design allows it to be used like an interceptor with the speed of an A-Wing or a starfighter with the firepower of an X-Wing. Hope you like it :) Liberator-class Starfighter UCS by Vaionaut, on Flickr
  5. 2021 remake! Initially it started as a minor update to fix few issues, most notably weak guns/windshield attachment, but over time scope of the changes grew and grew and grew. Changes: - Cockpit now can has space for the pilot in any type of the helmet, including the grossly oversized one; - Cockpit interior now features new controls layout and few more details; the "bowtie" detail taken almost 1:1 from 20feet's variant, with a slight modificiation to make it match the intended "flow' of the cockpit a bit more to my liking. Big thanks here! - gun and windscreen attachment is redone to be much more solid; though this particular change was already implemented in First Order TIEs; - top dish was replaced to use 4x4 one. This is a bit controversional, but bricklink prices for the 6x6 one are extreme, because they appeared on only one set some time ago. 4x4 is much more popular and so this is a better option for a model which is supposed to be built by other people too. - side struts were redone to resemble original ones a bit more. I had great help here from 20feet who helped me to go through few ideas and find one which is a nice compromise between screen accuracy and fitting rest of the ship's styling. Thanks again! - side struts were made longer, as I made a slight scaling mistake in the original TF. - wing/panels are basically an entirely new build. The shape, which has proven to be a little bit controversional due to being much more rectangular, is more similar to what movie and Rogue Squadrons game TIEs are using. I know it is not 100% perfect and a bit too rectangular, but this particular layout enabled me to use most of 1x2 grille bricks, aside from the slopes. I believe it is a good trade-off and the angle is definitely closer to the original, even if wrong in the other direction now. - I also tried 20feet's vertical stacked bricks idea and it looks great - on black background. It is included in the instructions pack, and is probably the best choice for people who will display the ship against black background. Otherwise, gaps between bricks are quite noticeable. Still - a super interesting idea and one which got implemented! - New wing cores: Hexagonal, finally! Again thanks for 20feet's insistence on making them better! I thought my original idea was good enough but it was worth pushing a bit more! - New color variant! This was Charlie's idea (one of Brickvault leads) and I was skeptical even after building it. Thankfully, he insisted and so, over time, this variant grew on me to the point that I now believe it is the best looking one. It is a bit assymetrical but overall a compromise worth doing! - New universal stand debiuts here, and I intend to use it - in various similar versions - for all future ships in this size. So, yeah. Quite a remake. I apologize for delaying it this much, especially after repeatedly telling people the update is "soon". Sorry. This is the first time since 2019 where I finally was able to get everything right. Since T/F shares almost entire core with the T/I, I redid it too: Interceptor shares most of the changes with the Fighter. Initially I did not want to redo the panels - I thought they were perfect, but, well, yeah. They were not. Having Rogue Squadrons 3d models as the sources enabled me to get proper dimensions finally. Ultimately, the panels simply required lenghtening the back part and making those weird offset guns at the tips. I still believe it is an odd choice, but nonetheless, I tried to replicate it. The red one is a Royal Guard TIE Interceptor and aside from the obvious new racey paint scheme, it also features smaller additions to the wings. I tried to keep the angles same as on the main panels, which was quite a challenge, but eventually it ended up being perfectly possible. At this rate, 3.0 is scheduled for release around 2024. Let's place bets on what will change, and please tell me what's the weakest part of those designs, so I can focus on them in the future! I want to ditch 3x3 dome pieces as they clog up the interior, and this probably will be the focus of 3.0 - if I get some good ideas to try. And who knows, maybe I'll be able to make a perfect T/F wing panel this time? --------------------- Yet another LEGO TIE Fighter. How far can this classic design be pushed? How many ways are there to build an eye sandwitched by hexagonal solar panels? Is there a perfect design already? This is where beauty of LEGO as form of modelling strikes with full power, as answers to these questions are: Very far, infinite ways, and no, there is no perfect design available and never will be. In 2014 I have built this: It worked, and I think for 2014 and what was available back then, it was pretty good. It had obvious flaw though: no space for a minifigure, and it was also a little too small in scale. I was limited mostly by the fact there were no proper cockpit pieces, and my attempt with literally the only other one was... not spectacular, not to mention it needed painting with A LOT patience required. The new model takes advantage of this cockpit piece, which allowed me to push that original 2014 design further. I know, I am late to the party, years - literally - behind other designers of great TIE models, like Bricks Feeder or Rebel Builder, yet I hope I can bring something new into the T/F building scene. Originally I thought I would just stretch the build here and there but no, heheh, no way. Literally the only unchanged parts are the eight quarter (or one-eighter?) dome pieces, which are to me still the only way to have smooth and roughly spherical design without holes all around. Unfortunately when we look at a closeup of a real movie-filming model of the T/F we see how far are we from true modelling but I say we're collectively inching towards it pretty nicely. I have said this plenty of times but original designers of TIE Fighters really did all they could to make them unbuildable properly, naturally unknowingly - who would think adult guys 30 years in the future would try to recreate the design using perhaps the weirdest medium available?. The T/F is just a sphere, two struts and two flat hexes. Except: 6-diameter central cokcpit piece would require a 9-diameter ball, minifig-scaled TIE would require an 8-diameter ball and don't even get me started on sources for TIEs dimensions. If you think that Illustrated Guide To Star Wars vehicles is helpful, well, not much. I dare to say this book did awfully lot of harm to LEGO Star Wars MOCing scene. So is my TIE perfect? No, not yet. I promise though, I did all I could to make it as good as possible, with no compromises made. And this time it houses a minifig! The design is super sturdy to my standards, nicely swooshable - for a reason, but I will get to that later. Naturally having a T/F built opens a way towards the Interceptor, which for me is among the best looking spaceship designs in any sci-fi. While the core design is similar, the ball has some differences, mostly to accomodate longer struts. This is because LEGO curiously didn't develop 2x9 plates and for once I was in a situation where I can't really replace 2x9 plate with anything without compromising structural integrity. Having that solved I went onto the wing design and OH GOD INTERNET WHAT HAVE YOU DONE. If anyone knows angle on the panels and can prove it, gets a free beer. With shipping. Because the wings are angled in all dimensions, good luck guessing proper values from photos. Because of the IGTSWV book, half of the models (and I don't even mean LEGO models) existing are wrong. And then because of SW animated series, the other half of the models are also wrong... ...so my source of reference was this: Then after having all that done, I experienced another unexpected problem: The ship is top-heavy and won't stand straight. I added tiny legs on the bottom edges of wings which help a bit, and because the design is quite sturdy, the T/I requires no stand. There you have it. Yet another T/F and T/I. I hope you like the designs and I hope I managed to introduce something new to the very competitive scene. Enjoy! ...but wait, there is more! I would not build these models if not a commission request from BrickVault: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrhb3SP2lZBgguLHIWWuHOQ Originally it was meant to be just a few TIE models based on the 2014 design I had, just LDD files, but over time we developed a much more interesting designs and... instructions for each of them! The instructions are paid and please understand, it took weeks to develop them, error-proof, make the experience enjoyable and builds sturdy enough to be handled easily. Normally I do not make instructions, as I prefer to build with real bricks than to do electronic designs. The instructions are designed to have dozens of simple to follow steps with just few pieces per step, have submodels where needed, parts list for each step and a total bill of parts at the beginning. Additionally, in few places, there are notes to watch out for some particular details. I can fully understand now what LEGO designers go through and I can imagine amount of effort required for making instructions for larger and more complicated designs. I am pretty sure it took more time to design instructions for the recent UCS Millennium Falcon than to design the model itself. Thanks for watching and Happy New Year!
  6. *Your entry has earned 3 XP* Sir, we detected a small group of fighters in the orbit of Odik II. It seems that they are Pyerce´s ships. What are your orders, Sir? Shall I send a squad to interfere? No, our fleet is to far away to get there in time. But it is an excellent opportunity to test the new TIE Droid Fighter. Inform Admiral Val, she will take care of the traitors. Yes, Sir! Just a small MOC. I always wanted to build a TIE Droid fighter and i love the Versus-Sets from 2003. So the best chance to get both done. Greetings Mac
  7. A long, long time ago I started working on a micro scale Millennium Falcon. To begin with all I wanted to do was add detail to the Microfighter but I kept tinkering and before I knew it I had a growing collection of micro Star Wars freighters and fighters, and here they are! Instructions for all these little builds are on my Rebrickable page. Since this all started with that Falcon Microfighter the cockpit piece (a light blueish-grey 2x2 truncated cone) became my yardstick for scale. Luckily trans-black 1x1 slope pieces work as fighter cockpits at the same scale so all the ships are, and will continue to be, as close to scale with each other as I can manage, at least based on these pieces and whatever reference images I can gather from Google. My Blockade Runner (April 2021) is the last ship on my micro Star Wars to-do list, although it’s hardly micro! The size and weight were a new challenge for me, I’ve never had to worry about a moc falling apart under its own weight before, but I enjoyed the challenge and managed to make it pretty easy to pick strong. I’ve put together instructions for the Tantive IV as well as the Liberator from Star Wars Rebels, which I couldn’t resist building for myself. Rather than doing new posts for each new ship I’ll edit the very long post below. All the instructions are on my Rebrickable page and there are photos and Studio renders some photos of the ships in this post, plus a few more on Flickr and Instagram. Thanks for looking!

    [MOC] Space interceptor

Hello all! First post in this forum! I present to you the space interceptor, was a quick and fun little build off the parts I had lying around. Comments and criticism are welcome!
  9. Hi! This is my first moc from The Rise of Skywalker, Episode 9 - First Order TIE Interceptor! Now is only in LDD design, I'm still thinking if I should build this or wait to official premiere of this vehicle. 904 pieces, a lot of details, I based only on movie trailer What do you think? More on my YouTube:
  10. Hi! My new MOC is ready! Very quick and easy build, just only 683 parts on board Quick and easy design, prepared in 3-4 days. I managed to improve the joining of the wings, I added the brackets, which makes the connection very strong. Soon I will add information about the instructions, a list of parts and a review on my YouTube!

    [MOC] TIE Interceptor

After learning some basic skills on modifying First Order TIE Fighter and designing Imperial TIE Fighter based on official LEGO sets, moving on to TIE Interceptor was an obvious and natural choice. I really like the ship. It’s shapes are way more interesting than the standard fighters, yet the Interceptor is stylish and what is even more important for me - 100% classic. Basically all I had to do was to create it’s panels. My first decision was to abandon the use of locking hinges because the angles of the upper and lower parts of the panels are significantly and visibly bigger then 45 degrees and my priority was to get the best proportions. I ended up with this solution and I’m satisfied with it. The angles are just right and the upper and lower parts are locked securely in position. Even though it is a display piece, the model is solid and swooshable. I’ve also managed to include lots of important details. I am aware there are imperfections mostly regarding details but I think I got it just right as for minifig scale and classic build which matches well official LEGO sets. The piece count is 774 + 50 for the stand. More pics on my flickr account here. If you like it, you may find pdf step-by-step instructions on rebrickable. [MOD] 7181 UCS TIE Interceptor

Hi everyone, I'm a big fan of the SW UCS theme, especially of the TIE Fighters. My first UCS set was the 2000 TIE Interceptor. I was very proud to have it. However, as I get the Vader's TIE and the new TIE Fighter, the TIE Interceptor didn't match to them at all with its blue and dark gray colours... I decided to replace all blue, dark and light gray parts to light and dark bluish gray. I haven't found a modification like this on this forum, so I'd like to share with you what I came up with. My purpose was to create a nice display modell, which fits to my taste and is faithful to the original set as well. On the other hand, I wanted to customize it to be more appropriate to the film version. I used the elements of the Vader's TIE to build the cockpit (octagonal pieces and the hatch). In addition, I carried out some minor changes on the wings as well (1x8 dark bluish gray plate on the sides, replacement of the hinge bricks to plates, light bluish gray "stripes" on the inner sides). The interior got also an unique colour. It can't be perfectly appropriate to the film version, mostly because of the the inadequate angles of the wings, but I'm satisfied with the final result. Hope, you like it. Thanks for stopped by!
  13. And it's here! After an hour of hard work (not really) I present to you a Tie Interceptor!!! Made out of only the bricks from 75211 with 8 pieces to spare. Here is a pilot for scale Edit: The 2 light bley 1x6 tiles aren't part of the set The wing connections are very sturdy but the sharp pointed panels aren't really. Any suggestions? These are the spare pieces Some more pics on different angles The cockpit also stays the same Just made a stand for it Let me know in the comments of what you think Thanks for looking!
  14. Hi! I want to show you my new project! First Order Elite TIE Interceptor! Design is based on concept arts and contains 1066 bricks! The main part donor is FO TIE Fighter 75101, soon I'll prepare list of parts. I will build this after doing the instructions for my AT-M6 ... :) More on my YouTube!

  16. Hello everyone! Here my latest build, the S.H.A.D.O. Interceptor, also known as Moonbase Interceptor that is the primary defence spacecraft of the secret SHADO Moonbase. The S.H.A.D.O. Interceptor appeared in the 1970s British television sci-fi show UFO. The Interceptors are white and red one-seater space fighters used over the Moon and in Earth's orbit, equipped only with a self-destroying frontal nuclear missile. The Interceptors, usually, fly in groups of three during a period of red alert. During the flight, the three missiles are fired almost simultaneously. These spacecraft can't fly in Earth's atmosphere, for unknown reasons. My brick built Interceptor has also a detailed interior, lifting the top it's possible to see the cockpit and the jet engine on the back. Below the back view. Few weeks ago I built another vehicle frome the same TV series, the SHADO mobile. Thanks for stopping by.
  17. Hello Eurobricks Star Wars community! I'm ChromeBricks from Instagram, and this is my first post on this forum, although I've been following it for quite some time. I would like to present to you a quick model I came up with a few days ago, a hybrid between an interceptor and a bomber like craft, but this is not final, of course. Some could even consider it kinda crappy, I sorta do. This would be primarily used for massive ground devastation or capital ship disabling. The advantage in this case of hybrid ship would offer high maneuverability in flight to evade enemy fire (both ground and airborne) and protect the payload and high speeds to attack enemy fighters and achieve long range bombing runs when in formation. This ship is pretty similar in some aspects to the RZ-1 A-Wing starfighter used by the Rebel Alliance, as it is light, hyperspace-capable, and has high agility, maneuverability and speed. Minor note: the 1x6 DBG plate on each side of the craft are intended to represent blaster cannons. But I have to admit, they barely serve that purpose. The fighter also features an astromech droid socket to assist the pilot in navigation. Behind the socket, there is a hyperdrive unit that enables the craft to travel at FTL speed while in hyperspace. Here's a view with the canopy open. As you can see, no controls yet, but those eventually might be added. Here's the rear portion of the fighter, where the hyperdrive would be installed, although there's still no indication of it. The round 2x2 plates the engine's exhaust nozzles. The DBG 1x4 behind the pilot's head is used to store any pistols that he may use, as shown here. Here is the undercarriage of the fighter. The stacks of 2x2 round bricks and a nose cone is are the bombs themselves. The round 4x4 is intended to be some sort of docking port, and the 1x2 plate with clips is kinda intended to be a torpedo launcher, although that would be small for an actual one. The vehicle does still look respectable without the bombs on, even though they are large compared to the craft itself. Lastly, here's a (blurry) pic of the pilot (Ten Numb) and the astromech droid (R5-D4) next to the vehicle. To finish things off, here a list of what I intend to add to this (partially lacking) spacecraft: 1. More detail and a more defined color scheme 2. New cannons 3. Better bombs 4. Maybe retractable landing gear? 5. Better engines 6. More greebling, for sure. And more importantly: 7. A NAME FOR CRYING OUT LOUD Because no ship is a ship without a name, am I right? I'm open to suggestions for anything, since I'm new to this community. Thank you for your attention, and may the Force be with you.

    TIE Interceptor v2

About a year and a half ago I posted my initial TIE Interceptor model and I pointed out a few areas that I didn't like, notably the wing pylons. I went through two more changes, each being stronger than the last but that wasn't all I was unhappy with. I ended up building a second version, totally from scratch, using Belkor's wing pylon design. New cockpit interior (hell, entirely new cockpit), new thinner wings - only two plates thick. But my absolute favourite part of my second, improved version is a functional rear viewport. Unfortunately, I am currently lacking the money to buy extra pieces for v2 so only renders for now. There are still a number of things I would like to change. I'm pretty happy with the wings, although if I find a way to keep the edge panels closed that would be great. Ramses' TIE fighters have better wing pylons where it connects, so I want to modify mine to be more similar. Cehnot made an excellent cockpit interior, so I plan on changing mine to use that. However I'm very happy with the thinner wings and functional rear cockpit. It took quite a bit of time fiddling around with plates to have a design that was strong enough throughout with the wings. Hopefully, v3 should be in full brick form.
  19. Earlier this year y'all gave some good feedback on my TIE interceptor MOC I finally gotten around to addressing the pylon and wing stability issues. And thanks to your feedback below I painted the windscreen piece to blend into the cockpit. [MOC] TIE/IN Interceptor

So this basically exists because 12 hour ago (from posting) I was bored out of my mind. So I took apart 75150, and used any other parts I could find from my bin. It could technically be a MOD, but since I changed enough I believe it is considered a MOC. Anyways I ended up with what I have now and I am pretty satisfied with the results. This is also my very first attempt at a MOC...with real bricks (I've made two LDD attempts at the Yavin Base). Enjoy. More pics can be found by clicking here. I am very fond of how the wings turned out and it looks great from the front. But, I'm not very fond of the back, but due to it being done in a day and not having the right parts what I have now works. Anyways I hope you like it and please leave comments, suggestions, and thoughts. Edit: I have fixed the rear with a huge improvement. Please leave, thoughts, comments, and criticism.
  21. This is my version of sydag's wonderful delta-7 model (which you should view here www.flickr.com/photos/sydag/sets/7215765181084275), which also incorporates elements of legorevolution's model (www.flickr.com/photos/legorevolution/albums/7215762721077...). Originally I just built legorevolution's eta-2 as per the instructions, but a while later i found sydag's version of the ship, which blew me further away. I ended up having a cockpit module from legorevolution and the wings from sydag's. But I did this before he produced his instructions and also showed his lovely series of fighters, so parts of the wings were not exactly the same to begin with. For a while I was satisfied and they began collecting dust while I did other things. I can't remember exactly when but in the second half of last year I picked it up again and started putting together obi-wan's red interceptor from the same battle, and the blue one that goes to Utapau. I fiddled with these for a while, but because I didn't have all of the parts I needed for obi-wan's ships, this one was the template for the rest. I basically finished it then, but without sticker details. This weekend I sat down and put those on, and here we have it. I'm quite proud of this one, although it's definitely too big. But that's alright with me because I felt that the movie ships themselves were unrealistically small anyway. So here you have it. Large chunks of this have remained untouched from the source material (in lego), but there are several areas, including the back wing sections, the bottom, and most of the cockpit which I have rearranged to suit my personal preferences. 22. I heard about all the negative things about 75135 before it even came out, so I decided to mod it as soon as I got it. Using a bunch of extra pieces, some pieces from 75135, and one bricklink order, this is the finished product. https://imgur.com/gallery/I64te
  23. REVIEW - 42047 - POLICE INTERCEPTOR INTRODUCTION Starting with the 42010 - Off-road Racer and 42011 - Race Car in 2013, TLG released two sets in the first half of each year, using a pull-back motor. The pull-back motor allows the model to be pulled back, followed by forward motion. Usually there's no apparent relation between the two set, other than the ability to combine them into an alternate build. This year there seems to some sort of Cops and Robbers scene going on. A Getaway Racer and a Police Interceptor. That can't be a coincidence. Makes you wonder who will be victorious, the good guys or the bad guys. Let's find out! Note: All images can be clicked for hi-res versions. SET INFORMATION Number: 42047 Title: Police Interceptor Theme: Technic Released: 2016 Part Count: 185 Box Weight: 325 gr Box Dimensions: 26,0 cm x 13,8 cm x 5,9 cm Set Price (MSRP): € 19,99 Price per Part: € 0,108 Links: Brickset, Bricklink THE BOX The box has the same dimensions as previous year's pullback motor sets. In the lower right corner there's a visual explanation of the pullback mechanism. Lime green might seem unusual for a police car, but it might work out better than expected. CONTENT OF THE BOX The box contains: 1 Instructions Booklet 1 Sticker Sheet 2 Technic Liftarms 1 Pull-back Motor 3 Bags INSTRUCTION BOOKLET The instruction booklet for the main model. Unfortunately no booklet for the alternate model. STICKER SHEET The sticker sheet shows similar lime green details as found in the rest of the model. PULL-BACK MOTOR AND LIFTARMS The pull-back motor and liftarms haven't been sealed in plastic bags. BAGS Three bags containing the rest of the parts. HIGHLIGHTED PARTS This section describes the new and/or otherwise interesting parts. 7L AXLE IN YELLOW The 7L Axle has never been released in yellow before. This year TLG surprised us with releasing axles in different colors, like yellow, red and orange. This set only contains a yellow 7L Axle, but you can checkout my other reviews to see which other axles have been (re)released. This 7L Axle has also been used in the Drag Racer. LIME GREEN PARTS The 30.4mm D. x 20mm Wheels are unique to this set. They have been released in various colors, but never in lime green. The 3x3 L-shaped Thin Liftarms haven't been released in lime green since 2001. TIRES These 43.2 x 22 ZR Tires haven't been used in pullback sets before. They do appear in 48 other sets though, so they aren't very rare. WHITE PANELS If you haven't bought Commander Cody or the Mercedes Arocs this looks like the perfect set to get some of the small white panels. PART LIST This set contains 185 parts, shown below. THE BUILD Since it's a small model, I will skip the building steps. I hereby present the finished Police Interceptor. I was on the fence about lime green, but seeing it in real life takes every doubt away. Although not your average police color scheme, the lime green does add a kick to this set. I do love the overall SUV shape of the model. The Driving Ring Connector used in the chassis of the Race Cart (see my review) are used constructing the roof of this model. That relatively new parts proves to be very versatile. Even though there are quite a few stickers, which add some lime green details to the model, the model looks great without stickers too. It doesn't rely as much on the stickers at the Getaway Racer does. The chassis is pretty basic, using the pullback motor in the rear axle. VIDEO Here's a short video showing the model. LEFTOVER PARTS A few common leftover parts. FEATURES AND FUNCTIONS VIDEO Here's a video demonstrating the pull-back functionality. And yes, my girlfriend was kind enough to catch the model before it fell to the ground B-MODEL The alternate model, the Extreme Police Racer, is a combined build with the Getaway Racer, which you can see on the back of the box. Unfortunately the instructions for the combined B-model are not included, so I didn't get a chance to build it. The double rear-wheeled formula one type racer seems to be cool enough to give it a go. SUMMARY I think this is one of the best looking pull-back racers, together with the 42026 Black-Champion-Racer from 2014. The Getaway Racer looks very good too, but it does rely heavily on it's stickers. Lime green adds a kick to this model. Combined with white it provides a great color scheme. The model itself has a very distinctive SUV look, which is properly executed. Negative aspects are hard to find. This is a winner!! SCORE How do I grade the good guy in this year's duo. 9 DESIGN The lime green actually works. Less dependent on stickers than the Getaway Racer. 7 BUILDING EXPERIENCE Nothing out of the ordinary. 7 FEATURES Limited to the pull-back functionality. 7 PLAYABILITY Combined with the Getaway Racer, kids will love it. 8 PARTS Lime green rims are unique to this set. Lots of useful white parts. 8 VALUE FOR MONEY Pullback sets always deliver a certain value. 7,7 GOOD GUYS DON'T ALWAYS FINISH LAST More image can be found on my Flickr page. Thank you for reading. I hope you enjoyed it.

    Seinar Fleet Systems TIE Interceptor

This is my TIE Interceptor MOC, designed from the movie models and the book Star Wars Complete Cross Sections. It shares its main structure with my TIE Fighter MOC, but with the distinctive Interceptor wings. Please leave feedback! http://mocpages.com/moc.php/362175
  25. Similar to the RZ-1 Interceptor (or "A-Wing" as it was commonly called) the RZ-2x is a small but highly capable interceptor. The RZ-2x is equipped with three modified J-77 Event Horizon engines, making it (at this time) the fastest interceptor in the known galaxy. Unlike the RZ-1, it is Astromech compatible, with the Astromech handling weapon systems, shields, sensors and flight assist. With flight assist activated the Astromech will smooth out the pilot's movement making it easier to maintain control of the craft. This has proven to be a double edged sword though, if the Astromech is lost, the way the ship handles will change drastically for the worse. Like the RZ-1, armament consists of a set of Borstel RG-9 laser cannons, and 2 Dymek HM-6 Concussion Missile Launchers. It is also equipped with the same senors and countermeasures as the RZ-1. A very small number of prototype units have been produced so far, and there is a high chance it will never make it into full production due to the high costs of production and maintenance (production costs are twice as high as the RZ-1). C&C welcome! I want this to be judged.
