    [M10 - Sarapin - TCR] Traitor’s End

*Your entry has earned 21 XP* Mission Log from Cpt. Bannon: Our original mission was to ensure the imperial energy supply from the drilling platforms on the surface of Sarapin. However, things took an unexpected turn, when we received a direct holo transmission from Moff Barthol. Barthols number one agent, Lord Amus has revealed that Senator Belrus is in league with the New Republic and that he is secretly scheming to undermine the Commenor Remnant. Personally I’ve always felt that Commenor has been a little too lenient with the New Rebuplic. Sometimes you’ve got to wonder - what happened to the glory of the Empire? Log update: We have received word that the treacherous Senator Belrus is in fact on Sarapin. How convenient that he is meeting with the administrator overseeing Sarapin mining. We have been instructed to rendezvous with Agent Amus and his men on the surface in order to capture the senator and return him to imperial custody. A few moments later on a landing platform at the Sarapin mining administrations headquarters… Cpt. Bannon: Senator! STOP! There’s nowhere to run! You are under arrest for treason against the Empire! Administrator Shatul: Kill hime! Kill ze traitor! Agent Amus: Sure would save us a lot of paperwork! But... Our job is to bring him in. Belrus: Yes! I surrender! Take me back to Commenor… I demand to talk to High Command! Cpt. Bannon: Right awa… Agent Amus: Would you like a cup of Jawa Juice as well? Your imperial rights was revoked the moment you sided with the Republic scum! Take him away! /// Phew! This one took some time, but I really feel my patience paid off. All the rock-work, lava and the platform has been done using SNOT technique, and the walls have been tilted. Let me know what you think! Any feedback and comments are welcome. :)
  2. Mission Log from Cpt. Bannon: After the successful apprehension of the treacherous senator on Sarapin, I was invited to an audience with the Supreme Moff Barthol. Having nothing but reverence and respect for the Moff, I anxiously accepted. Onboard the Imperial Super Star Destroyer Resurrector Moff Barthol: Welcome young Bannon. We have been expecting you. We are looking forward to you joining our course in uniting imperial remnants. In time you will see that our ambitions are the same. Your service for Commenor has been noticed and we will grant you the rank of Commander in the service of the Imperial Triumvirate. Do you accept? Cpt. Bannon: Your highness, highnesses, It would be an honor to serve, restoring the glory of the empire. Prince Serion: Good. You will be reporting to us directly and act autonomously unless otherwise instructed by us. You will have men and a star destroyer under your command to carry out your missions. Go to the Nixor system and await further instructions. /// My first attempt to add lights to a MOC. Hidden underneath the holo table I've placed a LEGO smarthub powering four LED lights. Below you'll find a few behind the scenes shots. Let me know what you think. :)
  3. *Your entry has earned 18 XP* Mission Log from Cpt. Bannon: As a part of establishing a diplomatic presence in the Core Worlds, the ISD Relentless is hosting a delegation of high standing members of the Chiss Ascendancy. Me and my crew have been tasked with showing our guests the inner workings of the Commenor Remnant fleet. We will do everything we can to display the hospitality, efficiency, and the supremacy of the Commenor Remnant. The Chiss is known for their skills in hand-to-hand combat. A skill also honored among us imperials. As I suspected they wanted to break the ice by testing ours against theirs. A test I looked very much forward too. Hopefully our guests will see the benefit in a strong alliance between the Chiss and us. /// Let me know what you think! ;)
  4. *Your entry has earned 8 XP* Somewhere on the desert planet Molavar... Sr. Stormtrooper Sergeant, TK427: I don't get it son. Every night you clean that armor. Y'know the remnant ain gonna give two pieces of bantha pudu... Cadet, TK1144: I don't like sand. It gets in everywhere! /// Sorry for the quick build, I wanted to get something out before I go for a short vacation.
  5. The Harrower-class Dreadnought is for me one of the most appealing Star Wars ships. This Star Destroyer type is the capital ship of the Imperial Navy in the game "Star Wars The Old Republic". The LEGO version is based on the cinematic model rather than the in-game version. You can see the ship in the "Return" cinematic trailer ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mm4JEZudf0c ) or in this picture ( http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/starwars/images/0/05/HarrowerClassDreadnaught-EGW.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20120425024504 ) Final shots Bigger pictures can be found on my Flickr Specifications: Length: 75cm Width: 41cm Scale: 1 : 1067 Weight: 4.3kg Parts used: about 5700 WIP shots After a couple of months designing it’s time to build the ship completely. Normally I would just post final pictures of a MOC, but since Star Destroyer ships are pretty popular I thought I would show WIP shots of how I constructed the Harrower. WIP 1 The first WIP shot shows the main frame of the ship. It was important to make the main frame very strong since the ship is going to be heavy and stands on just 2 feet. Therefore there are horizontally 3 rows of technic bricks which are all connected both horizontally and vertically resulting in a very strong frame. The sections that stick out all have a rotation joint at the end making an angle of 15 degrees which happens to be exactly the angle I needed for the Harrower. Later on I will connect frames for the wings to these joints. These wing frames will also be supported by the technic bricks that stick out below the rotation joints. WIP 2 The second WIP shot shows one of the wing frames (the other one is mirrored). Each wing frame is connected to the rotation joints of the main frame via the joint socket liftarm parts (the white parts). The top left corner picture is a close-up of the frame. The triangular frame has an angle of about 10 degrees which I needed for the Harrower and incidentally match with the angle of the 12 x 3 wedge plate. This is ideal to build the back (the engine section) later on without too much gapping. Another advantage of the triangular frame is that it’s very strong. WIP 3 In the third WIP shot the two wing frames are attached to the main frame. I added a layer of plates to the wing frames to make them sturdier horizontally and to make them a bit thicker. Note that the build is already flipped upside down to proceed to the next stage which is building the bottom and attaching the display feet. WIP 4 With the frame done it becomes a bit more exciting because now I can start building stuff you can actually see when the ship is finished. WIP shot 4 shows the bottom wings of the Harrower which are constructed SNOT. The good thing with the frame is that you could also choose to build a hull in the more traditional way with plates and wedge plates, because the angle of the wing frames match with the angle of the 4 x 2 wedge plate. I chose to build it SNOT, because I like a smooth effect for this scale. As you can see I also used the old light gray parts (also yellowed ones) to give the ship a bit more worn look. WIP 5 The fifth WIP shot shows the bottom with hangar bay which is constructed as one piece. It is attached to clips near the green parts that can be seen in WIP shot 4. The bottom is also held in place by the 2 x 4 tiles all around. It took a lot of time to figure out how to make this section work, because it is here where the two angular wings meet. WIP 6 As you can see in WIP shot 6 the feet are attached and the ship is turned upside up again. Before building the upper wings and the bridge section I added the engines and a couple of side sections. I had to improvise the engine section a little bit since there are no good reference pictures of the back of the cinematic model. All I could see in the trailer of Star Wars The Old Republic were 2 big engines with each 2 smaller ones beside them. The rest of the engine section is inspired on pictures of Star Destroyers. Note that the in-game version of the Harrower has quite different engines: 2 big triangular engines. WIP 7 The seventh and last WIP shot shows the addition of the upper wings and sides at the front. This was relatively easy because technically the upper wings are a copy of the bottom wings. Only the bridge section (which is similar in technique to the bottom) remains to be added before the Harrower is finished.

[N10 - Foundry - TCR] The Can Can

*Your entry has earned 22XP* Mission Log from Agent Amus: Ever since battle of Endor the imperial presence on colony worlds such as Foundry has been sloppy at best. Even though the Republic has declared Foundry a member of the state, they have shown little interest in anything other than the aristocratic and political districts of the planet. In their ignorance they have ignored the real power of Foundry. The industrial underworld. Mission log - continued: I’ve arranged a meeting at the cantina known among the locals as the Can Can. Clever nickname for a place that is supposed to look like it is run by droids. Mission log - continued: My intel suggests another individual is running the place. Running most of the underworld on Foundry actually. Inside the Can Can... When the music is playing... The bar has anything from blue milk to Merenzane Gold... Wealthy guests drinking Merenzane Gold... Sore looser... The street outside... Someone trying to remain anonymous... Staying warm in the Underworld... Phew. I finally got to post this one - I wish I could have paid more attention to the wall-work and stuff like that, but the build just took way too much time - and I wanted to move on. The diagonal walls was a real challenge - but cramping loads of details in this one was really fun... Let me know what you think! Below is a little peak behind the scenes, and close-ups...

    [S15 - Molavar - TCR] IDS Incarcerator

*Your entry has earned 9XP* Mission Log from Cpt. Bannon: After retaking our base on Dennaskar, high command has tasked us with rounding up additional rebels and insurgents from surrounding systems and escort them to the top secret IDS Incarcerator orbiting the backwater planet Molavar. These prisoners are supposedly an important part of Operation Stronghold. The Incarcerator was the last of its kind of Imperial Lictor-class dungeon ships. After the loss at the battle of Endor, warden commander Col Gran hid the IDS Incarcerator in the Outer Rim. Commander Col was eventually contacted by Admiral Rovv and convinced to join the Commenor Remnant cause and remain a secret known only to Rovv and a few high standing members of the remnant. The IDS Incarcerator was a highly modified Lictor-class ship, designed as an inescapable supermax prison. All prison cells onboard the ship has two entrances. One leading into the ship, and the other towards the empty vacuum of space, with only a ray shield keeping the prisoners from being sucked into oblivion. A little peek behind the scenes... Let me know what you think. :) Cheers

HMS Argonaut, 38 gun frigate, WIP

Hello dear ship-builders, I wasn't active for a long time now. Some of you might remember me from building the "HMS Bulwark", a 74 gun third rate ship of the line. It was in March, when she got a new bow. I never really liked the old one, way too angular. Then I came across the quarter saucer base (30201) of the 1998 Stingray Stormer (6198-1). It perfectly fitted the desired shape. But now for my frigate, probably being named "HMS Argonaut". She will become a 38 gun fifth rate frigate. More pictures can be seen, following one of the flickr links. Supposed to be a sister ship to the Bulwark, I think about changing the white stripe back to yellow. What do you think? Also for similarity I will probably keep the windows on her stern. They may look to big, but I already tried smaller ones and have to say, I like the current ones better. I hope to progress faster than last time. It mostly depends on me willing to buy the needed bricks. As for the rig and last details, I already have the ideas. So far so good. I hope you all continue to have great joy reassembling bricks into sightworthy constructions! Wellesley.

[M10 - Kuat - TCR] The Commenor Treaty

*Your entry has earned 7XP* Mission Log from Senator Belrus: In light of recent epidemic breakouts on Kuat, The Imperial Remnant high command wants to cease this opportunity to establish a presence on the planet. Due to new republic allegiance, the remnant has dispatched a stormtrooper platoon to an abandoned imperial facility in the polar region of the northern hemisphere. I have arranged to meet the regional archduke at the facility under diplomatic immunity. The Archduke: Good morning senator. We’ve considered your proposal. The epidemic breakout is currently contained to slums and lower levels of dense urban areas in our equatorial regions. It seems like the epidemic doesn’t take to the cold - why I imagine you chose this location for our meeting… Senator Belrus: *pokerface* The Archduke: Since the republic’s health organization has been unable to show any progress in fighting these outbreaks, the Kuati aristocrats have decided to declare a state of neutrality for Kuat. We’ve signed the Commenor Treaty allowing your presence on the planet and ring. We welcome your assistance as long as you comply with the Galactic Concordance. Senator Belrus: The terms are acceptable. We will sign the Commenor Treaty. The Archduke: And one more thing Senator. No bucketheads! Senator Belrus: *nods* Some behind the scenes shots: Let me know what you think! CC are more than welcome... ;)
  10. *Your entry has earned 7XP* Mission Log from Sr. Lieutenant Vascal: Hokey religions and ancient weapons has always been a passion in my family. So much so that the Remnant high command has put me in charge of a reconnaissance mission following a lead on a forgotten Jedi shrine. The lead has brought me to the harsh backwater world Ambria. Day 1 - I arrived in of the only settlements on the planet called Natthami Outpost. Settlement is a big word for what is basically a few dilapidated sheds and tents huddled together. Shortly after my arrival I was approached by a hooded figure known amongst the locals as one of the “Natthas Ee’k”. The waste pilgrims. This mysterious wanderer seemed to know the lands well enough and agreed to be my guide against a fair contribution to him and his brethren. … Day 16 - I’ve learned the name of the wanderer is Bur Eth’n. He’s lead me to what seems like an entrance to an old imperial facility. This is highly irregular since our records show no signs of imperial activity on Ambria. I am not even sure the Empire knew of its existence. I will report my findings before I proceed inside... /// I'm trying out some new techniques - at least they are new to me (; - and I'm happy with this small build. I've tried to capture the toxic/harsh landscape of an alien world, as well as experimenting with snot and angled/tilted walls... I hope you like it... As always, here's a few sneak peaks behind the scenes...
  11. Being a huge fan of the Expanded Universe, which I grew up with as a kid, I decided to create the super star destroyer first seen in the 1997 PC game Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2. It also has been used in some mods for Empire at War, which was another great Star Wars game, enjoy! https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Vengeance_(Vengeance-class)
  12. *Your entry has earned 15XP* Mission Log from Cpt. Bannon: Our second mission to Dennaskar was to regain control and if possible recover my former squad. We tracked the attackers to the back entrance of B Dock, an old imperial facility, where the outlaws had set up an ambush. We were prepared. Two squads of stormtroopers and an AT-ST neutralized the attackers. The survivors have either been captured, or escaped deeper into the forest. Our casualties have been minimal. No sign of the missing squad. These outlaws seems to be a breakout cell of the former rebellion against the empire. I will try to get more information out of the ones we captured. It will not be an easy task to get these scum to talk subjugated the Galactic Concordance. Hopefully they are not aware. Until the leadership advice I will continue my investigation from our new base of operation. Cpt. Bannon commands and leads his troops into battle... The outlaws are making a last effort... The first squad of stormtroopers supported by Cpt. Bannon's death troopers... Troops behind cover... Star Destroyers above Dennaskar... Some behind the scenes photos: Let me know what you guys think... :)
  13. *Your entry has earned 6XP* Mission Log from Comdt. Danus: The occupation of Uquine is going as planned. Most of the resistance has been pushed out of the cities. We have seized control over most former imperial assets in all major urban areas and established checkpoints at all spaceports. For a week I have personally inspected the checkpoints with great success. We have apprehended more than twenty individuals suspected of crimes against the Commenor Remnant. Latest a Twi’lek smuggler trying to get a crate of datachips through checkpoint 4227. I have yet to uncover all the data on the chips, but the initial sweep suggests connections to CorSec. I wonder what they are doing so far from Corellia. This is not the first time we incarcerate a member of their affiliation. Comdt. Danus: Miss. You are under arrest for trying to smuggle unregistered cargo of Uquine. You will be put befor a tribunal. They will decide your fate. Take her away. Cdr. TK-571: Yes ma'am. Sirs. I kindly ask you to remove yourselves from this sector. This is imperial business. Move along. A little peek behind the scenes:
  14. *Your entry has earned 9XP* Cpt. Bannon likes his surroundings as simple and clean as possible. No distractions. Clean as a whistle, and efficiency above anything. A little comfort and the occasional blue milk or brandy doesn’t hurt. Some time before… Lt. Markland: Cpt. Bannon. These are your junior officer quarters. Your belongings have already arrived. Lt. Markland: You will find the elite personnel manifest on the data console. Let me know if you need anything. I’ll let you get settled. Good day Captain. Quarters description: This is the quarters of Cpt. Julo Bannon onboard the Star Destroyer, The Relentless. The standard Jr. Officer Quarters comes with sleeping quarters with a small workstation and storage. Additionally the quarters are linked to a personal refresher with standard refresher interior, a sonic shower and additional storage. On rare occasions, distinguished officers are allowed some degree of personalization. In Cpt. Bannon’s case this includes a vintage lounge chair and a few collection items. Behind the scenes sneak peak: /// Let me know what you think...

    [MOC] Imperial Cargo Speeder

The catalyst behind me making this was simple- I had a pair of Imperial Hovertanks that I wanted to use in a more combat-oriented context. Therefore, I needed to make something that was a low level hauler (i.e. something like a flatbed truck, at most a few studs off the ground) capable of holding two of Lego's Kyber crystal containers. I remembered from some older books that in the EU, they had 'floats'- basically small speeders capable of even going inside buildings. This inspired me to make a small cab attached to a low flat bed, going back to the 'truck' mentioned above. While the bed is exposed except for the side railings and the rear ramp, I wanted the bed to have at least nominal protection, hence putting heavy doors when doors aren't particularly needed. I also forwent a wide open windscreen for a smaller enclosed one for similar reasons. The idea behind this is that A) the pilot/driver would be protected from rocks and debris, and perhaps even shrapnel (protection from small arms is up in the air); and B) the cab area can be separated from the rest of the speeder (specifically the bed) and be used on other vehicles. SW Imperial Cargo Speeder #1 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr SW Imperial Cargo Speeder #3 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr SW Imperial Cargo Speeder #5 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr SW Imperial Cargo Speeder #2 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr SW Imperial Cargo Speeder #4 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr Another function is as a small squad transport (Filing Out at Bay 10). Other uses could be placing a crane or some kind of weapon in the back. I'm not sure if a communications center would be a good fit or not. Also, with other things besides cargo or troops in the back, the rear ramp can be removed. I'm sure the bed can also be extended without it be overly long as well. 16. The conference room onboard the ISD Relentless Admiral Bryce: Gentlemen. We are looking at the planet Uquine. The last planet on the Commenor Run in this sector. Retaking Uquine will place the entire sector under the Commenor Remnant control. I’m sending three battalions to the surface to establish an initial occupation. I will stay in this system to oversee the occupation and await further instructions from high command. This is what must be done before we initiate Operation Stronghold. Admiral Rovv and Admiral Cerato, you will escort the Senator and Agent Visqar back to Commenor. You will need to convince High Command that we need additional ships to carry out our expansion. You know what to do after that. Admiral Cerato: We should approach Moff Barthol regarding Operation Stronghold. Admiral Rovv: Yes, he would be a powerful ally. Admiral Bryce: I agree. Admiral Rovv. Seek an audience with the moff and introduce him to Operation Stronghold, but plan a contingency should he decline to join. This has to be done in secrecy. Admiral Bryce: Gentlement, Cpt. Bannon. Captain, congratulations on your latest success. I apologize for the wait. These are extraordinary circumstances. Please meet Senator Belrus, Agent Visqar, Admiral Rovv and Admiral Cerato. We are a newly established subcommittee of the Commenor Remnant. Consider us your direct leadership. Gentlemen, please excuse us. I will brief Cpt. Bannon on his first assignment. Admiral Bryce: Captain, your first task is to establish your new squad. You are free to choose whomever you see fit to carry out the mission. I will see to it that you get access to the imperial elite personnel manifest. Lt. Markland will serve as your personal assistant. She is a trusted member of my crew. You report to me directly. Any questions? Cpt. Bannon: I need a ship. Behind the scenes: This is my first attempt at a modular scene. The idea is so make different rooms and interior of an imperial star destroyer to reuse during my stories. Let me know what you think?
  17. Mission Log from Cpt. Bannon: The squad had just established the camp when I received the message from High Command. I am to abandon the current mission and rendevouz with Commander Bryce on board the ISD Relentless in the Uquine system. I’ve passed command of my squad to Lieutenant Kelstrap. Information has been limited. I look forward to being briefed upon arrival. Onboard the Lambda-class shuttle Pelicana Pilot over the comms: Welcome on board Sir. We apologize for the mess. This ship is retrofitted for ordnance and equipment not officers, but we were your fastest option. Make yourself as comfortable as possible. Some time later... Pilot over the comms: Sir. We’re making our final approach to the Relentless and have clearance to board immediately. Lieutenant Markland will show you to your quarters on board. Cpt. Bannon: My quarters? I’m wasting my time… They’re sending an old shuttle to pick me up and now they’re letting me wait... This is not the Empire I fought for… At least this gives me time to change into something more formal… To be continued...

    [K18 - Anoat - TCR] Deyer Disarmament

Excerpt from Commander Bryce’s Log (Some time after the Battle of Endor) "Governor Ubrik Adelhard has locked down the entire Anoat sector. He has commanded all senior imperial officers to attend an briefing from High Command at 600 hours. I’ve heard what happened at Endor and I refuse to play along with his ruse. The Emperor had other plans. I’ve taken over command of the ISD Relentless over the Imperial capital of Deyer. Plotting a course for Commenor..."
  19. Mission Log from Cpt. Bannon: We were tasked with the covert recovery of a high profile Imperial container. The content of the container is 'need-to-know' I'm told. Obviously I don't need to know. Intel pointed to the last known location in a star destroyer wreckage on the planet Jakku. We encountered heavy rebel resistance, and lost most of the squad. The mission was successful. Two survivors, recovery of the container, elimination of most rebel resistance, and extraction from Jakku. The rebels have barricaded themselves, and are making a last stand at the end of a star destroyer corridor. Cpt. Bannon: "The rebels are pinned down. Cover me!" Cpt. Bannon charges a thermal detonator and gets ready to put the remaining rebels out of their misrable lives. A two-section hallway from a star destroyer wreckage. I tried to tilt the entire MOC to give the right feel. A lot of rusty parts and trying to make the hallway look like it's falling apart. Let me know what you think. Also - what do you like most, the version with 'effects' or the version without?
  20. Mission Log from Cpt. Bannon: Our mission to Dennaskar was simple. Reconnaissance and establish a temporary camp and base of operation to search for a location fit for a future outpost. After the depopulation of the planet it hasn’t been of much interest to anyone. We landed in sector 6-TE, 12 clicks east of the equipment drop from a few weeks ago. The cargo pilot missed the mark for the equipment and now we have to go and recover it before we can set up camp. Vascal: I swear this planet is haunted! Jayne: No wonder after what happened here... Cpt. Bannon: Cut the chatter. We’re almost at the drop site. Kelstrap: Captain! It’s here - and the equipment looks to be intact... Cpt. Bannon: Good. Let’s recover whatever we can move, establish a basecamp and contact High Command for further instructions.

    [MOC] TIE Fighter

The TIE Fighter is such an iconic starfighter from the Star Wars universe I just had to build with LEGO bricks. There are some excellent TIE fighter designs in the AFOL community. I especially like Jarek's TIE Fighter which inspired me to build a version of my own. I started from scratch using blueprints, screenshots from the movies and pictures of scale models. Obviously I also incorporated some of Jarek’s ideas like the brick-build wings and the use of doom bricks for the round cockpit. Despite that, it turned out to be a different design for the same type of spaceship. Amazing to see that there are so many ways to build something with LEGO bricks. The model contains just over a 1000 parts. The cockpit was quite a challenge to design. It had to be sturdy, but also show a lot of details (room for a minifigure, interior, front window and hatch at the correct place, guns, engines, backside window and some dark bluish gray elements). The wings proved another big challenge. They had to be sturdy and accurate in shape and detail which is a hard combination. Both wings are attached to the main body by using technic axles which are integrated into the main body. Each wing is composed of 6 black triangular sections. Each section is attached to the other by at least 2 connections which made the wing sturdy. To construct the gray hexagonal bars I made use of technic rotor 6 blade plates. This ensured that the gray bars make the correct angle. To make it even more complex the black wings have small gaps below each gray bar to be able to connect each bar to the one opposite. This forced the gray bars to lie flat on the black sections. This also made it difficult to create wings without any visible gaps, but somehow it worked out well.
  22. And here comes my latest MOC/mashup. This is an AT-DT which is very briefly seen in Solo, a Star Wars story. Its turret immediatly made me think to a mix between a German WW2 sIG 33 and a FLAK 88. AT-DT by Veynom, on Flickr For this model, I have really mashed up existing MOCs found on the Internet, existing sets, and my own freedom. The turret is based on the excellent model from Bricksfeeder on Rebrickable. The front armored panel was modified to remove a stress issue and suppress the gaps between the front and side panels. Side panels were also adapted. The main body is taken from the set 75201: First Order AT-ST but updated (rebuilt) for balance purpose. I kept the rotating mechanism. For the legs, I first started from those from the 75201 but then I completely rebuilt them to better match the canon shape. I found a robust solution with the feet connection from set 75083 (AT-DP) allowing me to connect th enice design of Bircksfeeder's feed to my legs. Balance is maintained as long as you do not shake it too much. Rear view: a minifig can easily sit inside. AT-DT rear view by Veynom, on Flickr AT-DT by Veynom, on Flickr Regarding scale, it can be compared to a minifig and to a smaller AT-MB (Mobile Battery) AT-MB and AT-DT by Veynom, on Flickr AT-DT and AT-MB by Veynom, on Flickr Then I've asked my friend Muad'Brick to abuse of his virtual skills on my pictures and he came up with this: AT-DT - Ewoks Killer by Veynom, on Flickr And this: AT-DT Flower Power Variant by Veynom, on Flickr Ans because size does not matter, here is the microscale version (13 parts): Micro AT-DT by Veynom, on Flickr PS: ABefore you ask, no, I have no LDD of my final model but the excellent original model from Bricksfeeder is available on Rebrickable.
  23. Freebuild #1: Distant Stations Freebuild #2: Belly of the Beast It was all going so well. We’d traversed a maze of hallways and turbolifts, following instructions from Tyria who remained on the ship. The admiral’s kid was in his room, his bunkmate left without a fuss once we mentioned ISB business, and he was going to come with us willingly. His exact words were “I didn’t sign on to blow up planets.” And yet, here we are. His bunkmate should have been a red flag. At least one of them should have been on duty, but we got overconfident and let it slip. We were halfway through trading outfits when we heard from Maze in the hallway. Trouble coming. What kind? Officer class. Looks like a captain. Alone so far. So, the bunkmate was a snitch. At least the captain's come alone, no doubt wanting to take credit for “catching” the kid. Even now, at the end, they’re playing politics. See what you can do I’m sorry ma’am, you can’t come in. ISB business. Step aside, or I’ll put you out an airlock. Yes ma’am, right away. Lieutenant Jepson Captain Corso I should have known I’d find you fleeing like a coward. You are all under arrest, for aiding and abetting a deserter. And as for you – What are you staring at? She was on our side- No. She was wearing the same uniform as us. That’s not the same thing. I thought you’d have learned that by now. What’s going on in there?! Stand by, we’re fine. Kirana, head out there, make sure they’re ready for company. Hey boys, I hate to rush you but the Rebel fleet just jumped into system so faster is better. Fierfek. Arjun, help the kid get the rest of that armor on or we’re leaving him here. Get ready, we’re gonna have company. It doesn't take long for Jepson's bunkmate to show up. Where’s Captain Corso? What do I look like, a staffing droid? Sir, until we figure out exactly what’s going on here, I’m going to need your men to lay down their weapons. Alright, alright, take it easy. Jepson ran off, and the captain came looking for him. They both went that way. Troopers, weapons on the ground. Now. What the kriff is - Felth is down! More troopers inbound! Hit the blast door controls! What the hell happened?! I'm seeing a massive security alert in your sector- We've had a problem...

    [MOC] TIE Experimental M1

And here comes a rare variant from the famous TIE-Fighter, the TIE Expérimental M1 which first appeared in the old X-Wing Alliance video game. For this variant, the famous TIE concept is inverted: instead of having one pod surrounded by 2 wings, we have 1 central wing surrounded by 2 TIE cockpit pods TIE Experimental M1 by Veynom, on Flickr I used many bricks from the 75211 set as this set provides a good chunk of what I needed. The only real challenge was to create a sturdy double wing to support the 2 pods. TIE Experimental M1 by Veynom, on Flickr Once the wing is done, it is all about symetry but not completly still.
