  1. My model of Lambda-class Imperial Shuttle was created from scratch and it is based on the construction solutions of the 75094 set. First it was created in LDD and later, after ordering the bricks, I made a number of significant adjustments. The biggest challenge was to keep the proportions as decent as possible, which, apart from the limitations resulting from the use of the 75094 skeleton, does not seem to me to be a simple thing on this scale. Among other things, for this reason, I finally gave up the opened interior (on which I did not particularly care about). Wherever possible, I tried to reproduce or refer to the details of the original. You may attach the landing gear but my model will always be presented on the stand. It is very stable and consists of about 1600 parts and therefore roughly over 600 more than the progenitor. I have designed the wings from the beginning in SNOT. The body is two studs longer, and in a large part, is a completely different construction than 75094. The wings are better embedded in it and they are less swaying, which is important because they are heavier. The fin is also proportionally extended by two studs and embedded somewhat differently. I have managed to slim down the cockpit and get a minimal nose down reduction in relation to the bottom, keeping the place for the stressed Han Solo. In this scale in flying mode, it matches the height of the UCS Slave I and it is the optimal scale for this model for me. 10212 UCS in flight position (and this is the only way I imagine presenting it) is monstrously huge - I mainly mean the height. I think that my model next to the UCS would not be too ashamed. Micro Star Wars (1:250)

Hi all. I haven't added much to my 1:250 fleet of Star Wars fighters, gunships, freighters and one corvette (plus a couple of mini scenes) this year but I have been working on my photography. I've really enjoyed seeing the groups of ships grow and comparing the sizes of the finished products, Slave 1 and the Rogue Shadow turned out surprisingly big, but the biggest surprise was how huge a Blockade Runner is! In case anyone's interested, instructions for all of them are on Rebrickable... https://rebrickable.com/users/ron_mcphatty/mocs/ And here's another with almost all the ships arranged together, which took far, far longer than I thought it would!
  3. Hi! I come back to you with a new project! Tydirium Imperial Lambda-class Shuttle T-4a Playscale! Designing in the studio took a month. It was not easy because I had to come up with many mobile connections such as: - foldable wings, - folding landing gears, - opened pilot's cabin, - access to the interior and passengers (retractable roof and fold-out side panels). The actual number of parts is 1960, I provide the list of parts, it may change during construction, link below https://drive.google.com/file/d/1yYEzyPxn8BzYCwaetlx8KnKis8NnfV1H/view?usp=sharing PDF Instructions will be available in november. This is not the final design yet, it is possible that I will change a few details during construction. What do you think about this project? Soon much more info on my YouTube channel: Edge of Bricks
  4. A long, long time ago I started working on a micro scale Millennium Falcon. To begin with all I wanted to do was add detail to the Microfighter but I kept tinkering and before I knew it I had a growing collection of micro Star Wars freighters and fighters, and here they are! Instructions for all these little builds are on my Rebrickable page. Since this all started with that Falcon Microfighter the cockpit piece (a light blueish-grey 2x2 truncated cone) became my yardstick for scale. Luckily trans-black 1x1 slope pieces work as fighter cockpits at the same scale so all the ships are, and will continue to be, as close to scale with each other as I can manage, at least based on these pieces and whatever reference images I can gather from Google. My Blockade Runner (April 2021) is the last ship on my micro Star Wars to-do list, although it’s hardly micro! The size and weight were a new challenge for me, I’ve never had to worry about a moc falling apart under its own weight before, but I enjoyed the challenge and managed to make it pretty easy to pick strong. I’ve put together instructions for the Tantive IV as well as the Liberator from Star Wars Rebels, which I couldn’t resist building for myself. Rather than doing new posts for each new ship I’ll edit the very long post below. All the instructions are on my Rebrickable page and there are photos and Studio renders some photos of the ships in this post, plus a few more on Flickr and Instagram. Thanks for looking!

    [MOC] UCS Imperial Shuttle

This is my take on a minifig-scale UCS scale Imperial Shuttle from Return of the Jedi. Since I wasn't sure where to start, the worm gear mechanism is loosely based on the official set. However, the rest is a mix of my design with subtle cues taken from Marshal Banana's MOC and 10212. It features gear-driven wings, detachable landing gear, poseable weapons, and an opening canopy with room for 4 minifigs.
  6. In the occasion of the new Imperial Shuttle 75094 I virtually rebuilt two movie scenes from Star Wars Episode VI - Return of the Jedi - showing the iimperial Shuttle Tydirium approaching Endor. The model was built with LDCad and rendered with Pov-Ray. Imperial Shuttle Tydirium by papacharly24 Imperial Shuttle Tydirium approaches Endor by papacharly24 Hope you enjoy it!

    ISP-6 Imperial Shuttle Pod

Up next in my series of Kenner Mini-Rigs from the 80's, is the ISP-6, Imperial Shuttle Pod. This is basically a mini version of the Imperial Shuttle seen in Return of the Jedi. The ISP-6 Imperial Shuttle Pod, was a small air/space vehicle used by the Imperial forces. A single-seat vehicle with a tri-wing configuration reminiscent of the larger Lambda-class shuttle, the ISP-6 was probably designed by Sienar Fleet Systems or Cygnus Spaceworks. It was a fast, compact transport, designed to be deployed from larger shuttles, and it was armed with two defensive blaster cannons for operations in combat zones. It also possessed a rear-view mirror to spot Rebel fighters from behind. After building is and getting the proportions about right, I looked and there was enough room for Vader as well as some cargo. I put a passage behind him, but, that may change when I build this early next year. Then again, I may have an Imperial Pilot fly this and have Vader kick back and relax while he does all the work. Going back to my MLC-3. The proportion of Lego mini-figs and Kenner Star Wars figures is way different. This design may fit an old Kenner fig, but, it's Lego so I may go with 2 figs in it. Wings up, landing gear down. Roomy?! There are 2 hinges on the top canopy, to access the whole interior of the ship. Wings fold up and down. Landing gear doesn't fit in the ship, it's too small of a build, they need to be taken when swooshing this around. I'm not completely happy with the nose. I may work on this later, but, I like it and think it fits in with the rest of the Kenner Mini-Rigs, thus far. I attacked the file to this if anybody would like to look at it or try to build this. This model is the second largest Mini-Rig I built, with 332 pieces in it. The MTV-7, has the highest pieces count, the MTV-7, Multi Terrain Vehicle will be posted tomorrow.
