  1. Hi, guys! I know that, there is February yet and we're before March release, but let's start new topic! So, at first I want to say that 2023 wave is amazing. New brand, new mudguards, new windscreens! Whoah! And there are my speculation/cars I want to see in Speed Champions 2024: ~ Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport 25 ~ Porsche Taycan ~ Audi e-tron GT ~ BMW M6 ~ BMW M4 GT3 & BMW M3 1991 ~ Ferrari 499p LMH ~ Ford Focus RS 2021 ~ Honda Civic Type R ~ Cadillac LMDH What do you think about my cars? What cars would you like to see? Show your speculation/wishlist.
  2. For those not afraid to mix LEGO with RC components, you might like this one: iWD4. A 100% LEGO chassis and body, driven by 4 brushless drone motors placed inside the wheel hub. In-wheel drive or independent wheel drive. The result is spectacular. Great speed, great control, and hardly any wear-out, since there aren't many moving parts. The rims are LEGO compatible and 3D printed, the electronics are drone based, steering is done by a LEGO compatible Geek servo. Rest is all LEGO, including suspension and removable body. Please have a look at this short intro video. Happy to share more details.

    Speed Champions Dyna-Stand [v2.0]

At some point we all try to make stands for the Speed Champions sets, yeah? Here's my first attempt. Version 2.0 is here and kicks Version 1's chassis to the curb!! Features: Contact sections can rotate to accommodate vehicles of different wheelbases without having to disassemble anything. Ball-jointed base for maximum posing Beautiful, brutish design can be customized Added a spot to place a figure and plaque/decorations Uses inexpensive parts, hopefully? Suggestions welcome! --- Built!

    Acura NSX (2016-2021)

While I like muscle cars and vans with giant wings, I don't think there's much interest for those types of autos anymore, so I hopped over to the supercar lane. (Well...hybrid middlecar lane, maybe? Hey, almost 600HP is pretty good!) Album - https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjAmByf Here's a look at the funk that went into the nose-

The lack of LEGO Supervans is outrageous

...so here's a half-finished one! ...hey, it's more than there were before, I call that a win. I used my usual inelegant method of throwing bricks at the wall and seeing what shapes work. The main thing I'm not happy with is the nose, I think it needs to be shorter but not sure what I can remove. Also not thrilled about how gappy it looks. I am happy with how I managed to add the little blue Ford logo in front though. I really don't want to change that. Also happy with the mosaic-like build on the roof. Suggestions welcome! Also, does anyone have pictures of this van's electric motors? I saw one picture but it doesn't show exactly how long they are or much details at all. 6. Hello everyone! Maybe it's too early, but let it happen. What do you think of the Speed Champions series in 2022? Do you think it will disappear or continue, or will it be under a different name? Anyway, personally, I think they will stay with us for a long time (after all, they have made specially new wheels for 2021). It seems to me that there is a good chance to see in 2022 in the SC series such cars: - BMW M8 (maybe GTE) - Pagani Zonda or Huayra - Ferrari - some F1 car - due to Toyota license can Toyota gr010 (hypercar) - maybe some cars from the DTM or VASC series Post comments about what you think.

    Octan Raceway - Top Fuel

Hi everyone, My latest build has finally had its first public appearance - Octan Raceway - Top Fuel edition.. I built this last year to be shown at Brisbricks Chandler Show - but due to COVID it was cancelled the day before the event happened. So it sat in plastic tubs until this weekend just gone when it had its first public appearance. Its 7 baseplates long by 3 baseplates deep sitting on 1 table. I modified a version of the Speed Champions Top Fuel car to have a cage (more popular here in Australia then the dome lid) and also added flashing lights and flames to the cars. (There's a video on TikTok if you want to see it all flashing - search Octan Raceway or StewBricks) I incorporated an iPad as a video screen to show what Top Fuel is for the kids and it was running loops of the 2019 and 2020 Winternats which is the biggest drag racing event in the world outside of America. It will get displayed again this weekend before being dismantled for my next build. [MOC] Octan Racing T1+

New year, new moc What happens in January since 1979 ? The Dakar Rally (ok...and the Monte Carlo too) So, 1st MOC of the year its a T1+ based pick up What its a T1+ ? Its the new that FIA has given to the new rules for the most evolved cars like the Toyota Hilux , Minis (the new Hybrid Audi its a T1U) All started trying a solution to put the spare wheels underneath the cabin like the official Toyota´s and Mini´s Its has a functional front suspension system. Fragile, ok, but it works. And have some direction too The rear suspension works too, and the rear it´s for me the best part of the MOC (and yes, the real pick ups´s rear are very "empty")
  10. Dear fellow MOCcers, It's been some time since I last had something to show here - but now another model is finished, and - it's not a train, but a historic racing car. The Tyrrell 019 was designed by renowned Formula 1 designer Harvey Postlethwaite for the 1990 season. It debuted at that year’s San Marino Grand Prix where Jean Alesi drove it to 6th place. Though not overwhelmingly successful throughout the rest of the season (apart from a 2nd place in Monaco) due to its underpowered Cosworth DFR 3.5 litre V8 engine, the 019 has been one of the most influential cars in Formula 1 history, as it pioneered the "raised nose cone“ principle for maximised underbody airflow – a design which soon was copied by virtually all other F1 teams and has remained a standard feature of racing cars until today. My LEGO® model is built to 1/15 scale. Unlike many other LEGO® Formula 1 models of comparable scale and size, it features a removable cowling, detailed Cosworth V8 engine, realistic diffuser and (considering the size, at least) a rather detailed cockpit with steering wheel, seat-belts and gearstick. The model consists of approx. 650 parts. The front wing is mounted bottom-up using the "pneumatic hose technique“ shown here. The "single studs“ made from rigid and pneumatic hose are also used here and there. Thanks for stopping by! Sven
  11. Hi everyone, This is my P-51 Mustang Racing MOC. It is made out of 401 official LEGO pieces. Blue Bull is 28.7 centimeters long (11.3 inches), its wingspan is 30.7 centimeters (12.1 inches), it weighs 263 grams (9.3 ounces) and its top speed is just over 400 km/h (over 250 mph)! A single pilot can sit in the comfortable cockpit and take control of the plane any time. Although Blue Bull has an aerodynamic design, its mainframe’s strength is not compromised! The model is designed with agility, durability and playability in mind, so in case of an accident, the plane is sturdy enough to withstand any drop from the height of up to 30 centimeters (12 inches), without any part breaking off. The model can be easily and carelessly swooshed by holding any part – main body, nose, wings, tail or even the propeller. Plane’s nose, wings and tail are connected at a slight angle. Sideways and top-down building techniques are implemented to achieve the appropriate design of the nose and tail. Nose has a smooth narrowing shape towards the propeller, while tail also narrows towards the endpoint. Main wings also have a slanted design – rear line of the main wings is angled in two points, contributing to the overall appealing shape and leaving enough room for the front landing gear. Front landing gear can be deployed or retracted, but rear landing gear is fixed. If you like the plane and would like to see more photos, visit my Flickr album. And if you especially like the model, consider supporting it on Ideas, under a title "Blue Bull"!
  12. The following creations were built to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the 1999 Lego Racers computer game. Pieces new and old have come together to form these newly revised versions of the 8 boss cars. Please enjoy! 1) Captain Redbeard As you can see, Captain Redbeard's new ride uses the microbuild of his ship from set #40290 as a base for this off-road beast of a racer. But it still retains the large exhausts and rear mounted pirate flag from his original car. The sails make this the tallest vehicle in the collection so far. .
  13. LEGO MOC#76-2 Arcade Racing Machine with Brick Built Screen I have modified the previous version to create a brick-built screen version. Because I guess not many people have the printed panel in the previous version, so I designed this brick-built screen version. Most of you may be able to build it at home. The instruction is included in the video: More MOC on my homepage: https://www.bricksboy.com/moc
  14. Finally got this set built, and tried to mod it to fit minifigs, I didn't really do any designing beforehand. Just a quick build, transparent 1x2 plates help fitting the windows together, and had to add a space for the figure helm/hairpiece to fit, while trying to maintain the shape and colors, also added turn signals and steering wheel. As for the race cars/karts, it was very simple mod of moving the nose 1 stud forward and adding a steering wheel, really got some Town vibes. Orginal set : Mod for minifigs:
  15. Drag Bricks first tractor/truck pull competition where crazy custom dragsters battle to see who can pull the weight transferring sled the furthest! Also included is a special debut, and a Tug of War at the end of the pull contest! Check it out!

  18. This is a Dumper Tractor, the model I've developed in 2019 for the younger audience of builders (8+). It has 330 parts on 75 different ones and comes with an alternate build, just like an official set. On rebrickable you get instructions for the main and for the alternate model. Dumper Tractor (main model) The model features articulated steering on a working steering wheel and a tipper which is operable on both sides with a clever linkage system. The tipper is lockable - tipping and steering always works together. Under the hood you can see a piston moving by spinning the wheels. The model is built at larger scale and fits for example the 42114 Hauler. Yes in real live such a Hauler is very big, but a Dumper is rather small. Here are more pictures of the model: Racing Kart (alternate build) If you have all parts listed in the inventory, you can build something different from the Dumper - a cool Racing Kart. It features a working steering wheel and a moving piston as well. Instructions Both instructions for the Dumper Tractor and for the Racing Kart comes in high quality images with a simple step by step following and easy build. Here are two example pages from the main model: ... and for the alternate build what you get two cool models they are very fun to play with satisfying builds with clever building techniques high quality premium instructions with clear images And remember again, you get the instructions for both models! ;) color changes Of course you can build the models in totally different colors, as long the parts are available in those colors or become available in the near future. Below are some color changes for inspiration: One thing to mention: Due the cancel of 42113 the tapered panel is yet not available in orange. Hopefully this part becomes available later to build a orange tipper. more pictures, more content Feel free to visit the showroom of my page to see more pictures and 360 degrees renderings of the models. follow this link or visit the models on rebrickable

    Ginetta Akula

Sometimes all the pieces seem to fall into place...I wouldn't know, this was another brain-bending build. The interior is mostly hollow for now, and I need to nudge some parts into place, but it's 99% done. I think only a few stickers would be needed; vents on the sloped nose, headlights, and the Ginetta logos. Ginetta Akula by Henchmen4Hire, on Flickr

  24. GMC c4500 Ironhide He killed a total of about 20 evenings after working on the assembly. Spent about 2000 parts. The design of the entire filling is very complex, a gearbox with a double clutch and a double row of gears (so as not to disrupt under loads) and two gears (lower and higher), differential units (no one has yet seen that there are blocks of both bridges on similar lego cars ), the suspension so that when it works, it doesn’t hurt anything even when the wheels are turned up and the maximum squeeze, a connected winch, plus the location of all the motors in the mind (1 servo, 2 M-motors and 3 L-motor drive), battery pack and two receivers while the center of gravity was like mine it’s lower, plus the design and appearance itself all this made me explode my brain and spend a lot of time. 2017 year problem with photo, not loading https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IxqSjZ2bfek&feature=youtu.be Thank you for watching
