  1. Hi, guys! I know that, there is February yet and we're before March release, but let's start new topic! So, at first I want to say that 2023 wave is amazing. New brand, new mudguards, new windscreens! Whoah! And there are my speculation/cars I want to see in Speed Champions 2024: ~ Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport 25 ~ Porsche Taycan ~ Audi e-tron GT ~ BMW M6 ~ BMW M4 GT3 & BMW M3 1991 ~ Ferrari 499p LMH ~ Ford Focus RS 2021 ~ Honda Civic Type R ~ Cadillac LMDH What do you think about my cars? What cars would you like to see? Show your speculation/wishlist.
  2. http://www.hollywood...na-jones-875794 You haven't heard this? What, are you living under a rock? So a fifth Indiana Jones movie has been announced. Steven Spielberg will be returning as director, and Harrison Ford will be returning as the titular archeologist. Discuss!
  3. Hello everyone! Maybe it's too early, but let it happen. What do you think of the Speed Champions series in 2022? Do you think it will disappear or continue, or will it be under a different name? Anyway, personally, I think they will stay with us for a long time (after all, they have made specially new wheels for 2021). It seems to me that there is a good chance to see in 2022 in the SC series such cars: - BMW M8 (maybe GTE) - Pagani Zonda or Huayra - Ferrari - some F1 car - due to Toyota license can Toyota gr010 (hypercar) - maybe some cars from the DTM or VASC series Post comments about what you think.
  4. So, here's an idea that's been circling in my head for the past months: Apparently, one of the many reasons fans didn't like the 2005 storyline (I personally loved the aesthetic and themes, even if they were not well executed, and my greatest gripe is how the third movie is completely incompatible with the surrounding media of that year) is because, as a midquel, we already knew what the end result was going to be. And one of the main reasons LEGO insisted on it was to reuse the assets and environments from Metru Nui. So, I wondered: why didn't they make 2005 a direct sequel to Mask of Light? The Matoran were going back to Metru Nui anyway, and it had been abandoned for thousands of years; it'd be perfectly plausible for the Visorak Horde to settle in the meantime and become the next threat to the returning villagers and Toa. Seeing the city overrun and devastated right after hearing about its former greatness and teasing its return might even be a bigger emotional punch (to the character and to the audience) than it all happening in a flashback of a flashback. The Toa Hordika could even be the mutated forms of the Toa Nuva instead to go back to the fan-favorite team, or completely new heroic characters (therefore avoiding the "controversy" of their wildly new looks) who were former victims of the Visorak and followed them around trying to thwart them, becoming allies of the past characters. At that point, the only major unresolved plotlines were how the Toa Metru saved the remaining Matoran Pods in the coliseum (which, if the Horde hadn't moved in yet, didn't need much of an explanation; they just went back and got them) and how Makuta got out of the Toa Seal (which could be explained as the work of the Horde or Makuta breaking free of his own power with time, I don't remember if they established by then how durable the Seal was). What do you guys think? Do you think it could've worked? Do you have any ideas of your own?
  5. According to @dimaks13, Speed Champions will indeed have life beyond Toys'R'Us here in the United States, continuing on for at least a fifth year. So, having said that, what would you wish or hope to see for the theme next year and potentially beyond?
  6. A LEGO Nexo Knights app has recently been released on the app store and play store, I saw this opportunity to make a thread about the game. Feel free to talk about anything related to the app. Here's my question, are the Nexo Powers that you get for free in the game included in any official LEGO products?

    Possible SpongeBob comeback in 2020?

With Spongebob's 20th anniversary just passing, and Nick's upcoming prequel series Camp Coral in production and more series' currently being planned (however controversial of a decision after Hindenburg's death), what do you feel the chances are of the Spongebob line returning to coincide with their new expansion of the Spongebob brand? I believe MegaBloks have discontinued the line and currently no construction brands are using the license.
  8. Since BrickHeadz are really hitting it off this year and with the release of Lego’s fourth cinematic movie next year, you can almost guarantee another year of BrickHeadz. Which characters are you expecting from TLM2 theme? What about other themes? Potentially Overwatch BrickHeadz?...
  9. Discuss everything pertaining to sets released for the LEGO Creator theme in 2019 here, whether it be for the "Three-In-One" or Expert subthemes. If you wish though, discussion of the annual Expert subthemes for Modular Buildings, the Fairground sets, Landmark builds, Expert-scale cars, and the Winter Village line particularly can take place over at these respectively linked topics instead: Eurobricks - Modular Building Sets - Rumors and Discussion Eurobricks - Fairground Sets - Rumors and Discussion Eurobricks - Creator Expert Landmark Buildings - Rumours and Discussion Eurobricks - Creator Expert Cars - Rumors, Discussion, and Speculation Eurobricks - Winter Village Sets - Rumors and Discussion This post will be updated as further information arrives, including official set numbers, names, and images. 10. First of all, I'm not a videogame guy; I've never really played any video game, save for a few classic arcade games a couple of times. But, I am fascinated by many of the novel back stories and plots of numerous videogames, particularly those of a alternate historical basis. The three prominent videogame franchises that I think could make for some incredible movies are the Wolfenstein, BioShock, and Fallout games specifically. These three franchises have had been pondered upon by various film studios for film adaptations, but have currently been put on the back burner or shelved. One other franchise that I'd like to see adapted for film is Crimson Skies; but currently, it may not have much relevance now. So what cinematic videogame franchise adaptations are you anticipating and/or wish for? Discussion of movies focused generally on videogames and/or videogaming (Wreck-It Ralph and Ready Player One, for example) is also allowed by the way.
  11. After almost two whole years of story we've had some theories and discussions, but I haven't seen much talk about the headcanons each one of us created around Okoto and its characters. This topic is the right place to share this beloved and yet controversial aspect of any thriving fandom. I'll start with mine: -the toys are 100% accurate representations of the characters JtO made an awesome job in giving life to the Uniters, Creatures and Umarak, but I still think it took too many liberties (an example: the legs on Ekimu's falcon). I know sets may be gappy and all, but I still think they're solid enough to be actual biomechanical beings fighiting, hunting and living their lifes. As a consequence of this first headcanon... -the biological components of the characters are actually inside their bones We don't have a percentage telling us how much biological the Okotoans are, unlike the 15% back in G1, but we could guess it's not much more than that. And, as delicate as they are, I think these components are well protected inside their bones and armors, far from the eyes. -the side of the torso/limb left uncovered by armor is actually protected by a small magnetic field The easiness with whom mechanical parts need to be replaced created a series of consequences, the most glaring one represented by the fact that the armor covers just one side of the torso/limb. To compensate, a small magnetic field generated by the armor itself protects the uncovered area. This applies as well for torso armor. -the society of the Okotoans isn't patriarchal neither matriarchal, yet there are more males than females Onua was surprised Korgot was female, even though the legend talked about "fathers and sons", but I think this happened just because he wasn't part of their society. For the Okotians male or female is not a big deal, and while in G2 most of the leading figures were males (beginning with Makuta and Ekimu), I think it's just because there are mole males than females. Nothing suggests us that males have more power than females, and I think that in this aspect G1 and G2 are the same: females exist, they don't face any problem because of that, but there are simply less of them. And speaking of females and males... -the Okotoans don't reproduce as we do I think it's more of an energy thing. They may fall in love and such, but when they decide to have babies some sort of meditation comes in play along with their limited amount of biological components. They don't get pregnant neither lay eggs, but after the "meditation" the newborn is just there. Not much different from how matorans were made in G1, except this time love plays a role. I think those are the most relevant headcanons I have for G2. Please remember: they're just that, headcanons. I'd love to hear yours, I hope this thread sparks an interesting discussion.
  12. I'm not sure if we have such a topic or not, but if not I hope it will be appreciated. So now we have 11+ tribes in Chima: Lions Crocodiles Ravens Wolves Gorillas Eagles Bears Rhinos Skunks Foxes Beavers I think that there are so many animal species in the world, that could be made as Chima minifigures, or at least they can appear in the TV series. I think a fish, or a tiger tribe would be neat
  13. CM4S originally posted this link in the Historic forum but seeing as it is about multiple themes, I figured this is could also go here . If you didn't know, LEGO seem to be re-releasing some 'classic' sets with the collective name 'Legends' Now the thought crossed my mind that possibly this could include Minifigures although they aren't already listed. The website is Dutch but after a Chrome Translate Job everything became clear. The Link is as follows... http://www.brickshop...go/legends.html
