  1. Hi, guys! I know that, there is February yet and we're before March release, but let's start new topic! So, at first I want to say that 2023 wave is amazing. New brand, new mudguards, new windscreens! Whoah! And there are my speculation/cars I want to see in Speed Champions 2024: ~ Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport 25 ~ Porsche Taycan ~ Audi e-tron GT ~ BMW M6 ~ BMW M4 GT3 & BMW M3 1991 ~ Ferrari 499p LMH ~ Ford Focus RS 2021 ~ Honda Civic Type R ~ Cadillac LMDH What do you think about my cars? What cars would you like to see? Show your speculation/wishlist.
  2. Hi, i'm having problems with consistency of finding the correct scale when building with unimog tires (Tire 94.3 x 38 R) are you building on the 1:10, 1:12 scale or 1:11 scale? The unimog tires are about 4 1/4 inches in diameter. Some semi tires are 22 1/2 and 36 inches in diameter. A semi is about 8 1/2 feet wide. Do the math:

    MOC - Modular Gas Station

Number two in my modular phase of my AFOL life now and it's like the title says "Gas Station". I chose Octan as this is designed to fit in the Lego world, not the real world. The forecourt has two pumps and a tall light post to illuminate the whole forecourt of this gas station. Here in the above image we can see the side entrance near a typical car jack of the period. Shelves will cans of oil and fluids, spare parts in the clear glass counter, rack of tyres (tires) and a battery stand. There will be more modulars of different sizes coming over the next few months. Aged Legos

Hello Everyone, I have a Problem that I hope someone can help me. First let me say that I live in Indonesia and have collected legos since I was 3 - 5 years old, now I'm 23 and still enjoying to play with them but I have encountered a few problems. 1. oily , Greasy tires, I don't know if anyone else has this problem but my small lego tires have harden and are sticky as if they have been rolled in sugar then let to dry . I have tried to wash them in hot water with soap and I let them sit in the water over night. if anyone can recommend a different solution , great . 2. yellowed white bricks, I'm sure many of you know this, yellowed white bricks I have heard to use peroxide but my problem is I live in Indonesia and peroxide is only available in 100% not 3% or .99%. so I dont know the mixing levels with water and peroxide . if some can tell me how much peroxide for 1 liter or 2 , cause I've got thousands of white pieces all affected . 3. also with the white pieces can I do colors like light grey and blue ? thx I hope someone can help me
  6. I need suggestion with my car. I have images below of what I have so far. A few questions. What springs should I use. Hard or soft? What wheels or tires? And I need ideas on how to complete it. So far my axle has working steering and a driveshaft connected. I don't know what to do next as I am a new technic builder. If any more information or pictures are needed please tell me :) Images: http://imgur.com/a/QbhXw
  7. This tutorial shows how to increase the firmness of your LEGO tires! If your Mindstorms or Technic creation is pushing the tires down like a flat tire due to heavy weight, or if you want less rolling resistance from squishy tires, you've come to the right place! I hope this tutorial is a big help! NOTE: You will have to search around for the right size, depending on the tire. One size does not fit all. Typically, foam inserts from 1/16 scale RC vehicles should fit on tires from 42000 Grand Prix Racer, 8110 Unimog U400, or 9398 4x4 Crawler.
  8. Hello! This is an idea that I havenĀ“t seen before, and wanted to share. It is the 81.6 x 38 balloon tires stretched on the unimog rim. They are 10 studs in diameter and 5 studs wide. The tires will stretch and become unusable on the normal rim after some time!
  9. I built a Lunar Explorer recently to test Lego tires in snow: Here is a video of the test: More pictures: http://www.busterhaus.com/2015/01/lunar-explorer.html
  10. I am doing some rendering in POV-Ray, and I am overall pleased with the results. Most parts have nice reflective surfaces; however, I found that non-reflective parts, especially tires, are rendered as shiny objects. Is there a means to have only tires rendered in a matte-finish, so as to give a more realistic appearance?
  11. I have a problem with the tires; can't go neither forward or backward ? I need to know why ? and where to check to solve this problem ! I have another question, please : how to rechange the batteries when flat ? I thank you in advance for your help !
  12. Hello, All I have always been interested in building an Off-Road Lego RC Vehicle but never got around to getting the parts. I also really don't know what I am doing at all .
