  1. Hold your breath. Make a wish. Count to three. Hello, everyone. I have designed a LEGO Ideas set for Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, based on the classic 1971 film starring the enigmatic Gene Wilder. The model, as proposed, is built from exactly 1400 LEGO elements, and is full of authentic (and delicious) details from the movie. This includes a fully screen-accurate factory exterior, an entrance interior with contract and hand-coathangers, and, of course, the iconic Chocolate Room, filled with colorful sweets and complete with a fully functional Chocolate Waterfall. It would also include the grandiose factory gates with brickbuilt wrought iron lettering, a life-sized Wonka Golden Ticket (featuring 49 drum-lacquered metallic gold LEGO elements), a full case of Wonka sweets including printed Wonka bars, Scrumdiddlyumptious bars, Everlasting Gobstoppers, golden chocolate eggs, and more! The set would also include 7 minifigures: Mr. Willy Wonka, Charlie Bucket, Violet Beauregarde, Mike Teavee, Veruca Salt, Augustus Gloop, and an Oompa Loompa. I've put a lot of effort into making a set that LEGO would realistically produce while still remaining true to my vision and the original source material, but the fact is that the set needs 10,000 votes. And that is impossible without help. So, if you like the project, please click the link below to see more images and register your support, and then share this project to ensure that we can get to 10,000 votes, and help make this golden dream come true. Golden Ninja Issue

So I was messing around with 70503 The Golden Dragon (the old/first set). And I notice the arm joints at the shoulders were stiff on Lloyd (The Golden Ninja). As I was trying to loosen the joints I thought just taken arms out would help. That is when I broke the arms off. Now I am wondering has this happen to anyone else? Is the plastic just poor in the first place? Then after messing with the torso A little more I was able to get the "rest of the arms" out. And now I am wondering if putting in some "green arms" in the torso would look alright.
  4. After the prospecting report came the Major of Poppy Port send out a letter to a tribe of mountain dwelling men who live in the home country of his wife, the are rather short compared to the average minifig, but they are the best in the buisness. The digging of the mine started in the location the first finds where made. Gold mine 1 by Bart, on Flickr The outside of the mountain didn't do justice to the work the men on the inside had done, and the fastness of the gold resources found. 5. Hello all, Many of you may have come across my father JimH in previous forums related to this topic. If you have read any of his posts, you would understand that I am one of the five winners of Lego Magazine's 14k Solid Gold C-3PO Lego mini figure giveaways from the Spring/Summer of 2007. As I am much older now and will be graduating from college in the Spring, my desire to sell the piece has increased. The revenue generated from selling the figure will help put me in a nicer financial standing as I head off into the real world. I will have my father comment on this thread as proof that I am his son and owner of the C-3PO figure. If you have any questions about the piece itself, estimates to what it is worth, or would like to make an offer on the piece, please do not hesitate to post in this thread or email me directly at -removed- May the force be with you! P.S. I am aware that my father has posted pictures of the figure in the past. Unfortunately, I am currently working as an intern away from home this summer. However, once I am back in a few weeks I plan to post updated pictures of the figure for further proof.
  6. Amazing part one by Sir Stig Part two: After the discoveries in Breshaun, Jan Zwartbaard went asap to Trador. Lord Maximilian Damaximus was easily convinced to sent at least an exploration party. Jan Zwartbaad could use the AQAR to sail to New Haven. The 50 gun vessel would be a safe head quarter for exploration. Once arrived at the beach, they set up a small camp ashore, manned by 40 soldiers. 50 soldiers stayed in the AQAR and 10 soldiers went exploring the jungle together with Jan Zwartbaard and a few Tenotclaxcan warriors. Zwartbaard hoped those natives would be helpfull when encountering new tribes. The jungle itself kept surprising Zwartbaard. So many wonderfull colours and animals. Luckily he was not a Corringtonlander or he would have been distracted all the time figuring out the newly discovered fauna and flora. Sometimes, he looked around him as he was sure they were being watched, but he could not see other humans. Part three: If the calculations were right, they would be in the middle of the island now. They would discover a lake soonish. And indeed, a few minutes later, they arrived at a complete new world. What they saw was not a flourishing village, but a destroyed and razed settlement. Upon arriving, he could not find a single living soul. Jan Zwartbaard ordered his soldiers to search for any clue they could find. It was at this point his Tenotclaxcan friends were helpfull as their well-trained ears heard some silent noise under one of the burnt houses. They quickly headed to what used to be the biggest building, discovering a small entrance to a hide-out. The natives they saw inside the hide-out were frightened and refused to come out. Jan Zwartbaard understood that they were too late. Mardier already arrived first and burned down the village in their struggle to find the treasure. Jan Zwartbaard ordered to give food to the survivors. Accepting his losses and not looking forward to report his defeat, he decided to stay a bit longer here and ordered his men to start building a campment in the village. 2 Soldiers went back to the shore to get 20 more soldiers and some supplies and materials. The more food they gave to the natives, the more they came out of their hide-outs and out of the jungle. Due to the actions of Jan Zwartbaard, the natives became friendly and with the help of the Tenotclaxcans, some sort of communication started. It was a surprise when the Tenotclaxcans understood the words of the natives and vice versa. It appears that the village they discovered is the capital of the Azclaxcans Tribes and they are relatives of the Tenotclaxcans. It were indeed orange wearing people who raided the village when they found out there was no huge amount of gold stored in the houses. They probably went to the next village, so the natives fear that their neighbours will have had the same destiny. After hearing what horrible deeds Mardier did, Jan Zwartbaard announced they had to go back to the known world to ask for back up and more resources. He appointed one of his sergeants in charge of 20 soldiers who would stay on the island to help rebuilding the other villages together with the Azclaxcans and some of the younger Tenotclaxcans who have no wife at home who would be angry because they would be really really late for dinner. Just when they said goodbye, the prince of the Azclaxcans, Prince AzTe Hek, asked permission to his father, King AzTe Nek, to accompany Jan Zwartbaard. The King not only gave permission, but also handed out a golden bracelet filled with precious diamonds to Jan Zwartbaard. That’s why Mardier burned the village down, they didn’t find anything as it was hidden as well! With the deepest bow he ever could do, Zwartbaard thanked the chief and started his journey back home together with prince AzTe Hek and a small MAESTRO party. Deep in thoughts, he figured how MAESTRO could secure the future of those natives. It would be a matter of time before other factions will visit the natives. He took a last glimp over his shoulder to see the Azclaxcan King waving goodbye. Some more overview pictures Thanks a lot for reading and commenting! Congratz to everyone who participated in this challenge and the other challenges! It was a wonderfull Book 1 and I am looking forward to Book 2! I have to thank the Eslandolan members for their activity through book 1. I am very happy I choosed Eslandola as faction as we were an united faction, even when divided in multiple trade companies. Go MAESTRO! Go Eslandola!

  9. My name is Pertyn Sawk, Pertie for friends. I got this name from my great-great-grandfather. He established a small speeder workshop on Bothawui and my family has been living there since then. We still produce small vehicles and I'm very proud of this. One day a group of men came in the workshop and asked for some small transport speeders. And this seemed very suspicious, since they didn't look like workers, but more like soldiers. But not imperial soldiers. They asked me some questions and I told them, that I'm not very fond of the current system, altough my life's not bad. I saw some stormtroopers intimidating my Bothan friend. And I knew why. My customers soon identified themselves as rebel soldiers and invited me to join them. It was a hard decision, but I said yes. I left the family business to my younger brother and went away. But I took my first speeder with me and I'm still using it. ---------- I've recently joined this RPG and I wanted to build a small, simple build to introduce my character. Thank you very much for stoping by. I would be very happy if I could get this freebuild judged. Thank you in advance. ----------

  11. On The Not-so High Seas Revon and Vasco have sailed the Aurei Lacerta as part of a Bounty run. Gold was rumored to have been found in a Oleander wreck. The rumors were true! Revon kept an eye for some of those good for nothing sea rats, while vasco went diving for Gold. The voyage was successful and they returned with a full cargo. My MCRA results MOC for the Feb. MCRA. You can catch a glimpse of the first few upgrades I made to the Aurei, but the mods aren't complete yet.

  13. Everyone in Eslandola has been wondering for a long long time if gold could be used as an instrument. But now, finally, my engineers have come up with a way to get it to work! Hereby I present the... GOLD ORGAN It magnifies the sound of the gold and silver keys through its pipes. I hope you like how it sounds. Here it is again without me. Once I have a flagship for myself I'll for sure get it on board. But until then it'll have to stay here at the Musicians Talent Fair here in Bardo. GOLD GOLD GOLD GOLD GOLD (etc)

    24 Karat Gold Mask Stand

When Lego sent out the 24 karat gold mask prizes, they sent brick built stands with them, for ease of display. The recipient of the 24 karat gold mask of earth (not me) uploaded a video on youtube of how to make that stand. After I found it, I ordered the pieces for three of them (I've only received the pieces for two so far), as well as some other pieces so I could make some alterations to the original design. (I don't know how to embed it, but I'd like to), but just so you know, two of the steps are out of order somewhere in the middle, where it shows one step with a half bush, and the next step doesn't have it. The alterations I made are that I put a 2x2 round plate under each grated parabola that matches the color of that parabola (to stop them from spinning), and I put a pin (mine were friction, but I'm not sure that matters) in the spot where the mask attaches in order to make that hole smaller, which makes the mask very unlikely to tilt down on the stand. An added advantage to the 2x2 round plates is that the bottoms of them meet when they're put on the stand, so it reduces the pressure applied to the parabolas during construction. We may not all have been able to get the 24 karat gold masks, but now we can use the stands they came with.
  16. Office machine? I am not sure that's proper title. I am not English native. Maybe government or department machine? Maybe something else? Check out description and photos and tell me what would be better. Anyway it is hidden behind a puppet mindlessly obeying orders. Manipulated puppet doesn't even know that he is performing acts of evil. He is the link in the system, it's integral part. Getting his hands on the all kinds of goods and passes them to his soulless master. 17. Hi Everyone, Just want to share a video and some photos of a MOC I recently finished. The aim was to make a compact studless chassis with a studded body over it. The result is that the bodywork can be easily taken off and the chassis can be reused for other models. More photos and instructions can be seen on Rebrickable: http://rebrickable.c...s/night-phoenix Thanks!

    The Zmagnirr

Terrifying thunderlizard. Another one of these big lizard things I've been building a lot lately. I built it to test the scaling technique and try out some weird proportions. Originally it had a thinner less reptilian tail but I decided to go with something a bit more traditional. The black legs and tail section are there because I ran out of blue CCBS shells, but I think it actually works. Like a change in the pigmentation of the skin. The katana on the tail is supposed to be a sort of offensive adaptation, a sharp bone ridge or something. Anyway, thanks for taking a look! Your comments and criticism are very appreciated.
  19. So today at Foyles there was gonna be a Friends building event held by Tim Johnson of New Elementary fame, but at the last minute it was cancelled due to Tim not being able to make it there. Instead of the full event going ahead without Tim, they refunded all the tickets and put up a little pop-up building zone on the ground floor, which me and my mum stumbled across whilst trying to rebook the tickets from todays event to another building event happening on the 23rd. The small area snuggled in the children's section was being run by Mark, who I knew well from Hamleys and had actually told me about the event in the first place (thanks Mark! ). Even though the event was supposed to be generally Friends-themed (they gave us free minidolls), the majority of the pieces were Ninjago-themed, which sorta made sense since there was a ninjago event a week ago. Anyways, I got to work building, and came up with this winged-friends-mech-thing. And because there weren't many people around building and Mark really liked what I did, he let me keep my model. Which was nice. So yeah, I did this. Enjoy? (cat to scale)

    [MOC] L'Supervivere

L'Supervivere Over the course of several years during the great industrial age, this mechanical suit was created by the lesser-known Professor Stewart Phoenix out of disused parts scavenged from various scrapheaps and abandoned factories around the outskirts of Victorian London, hence L'Supervivere's rather cobbled together and unusually complex appearance. The original and sole purpose of L'Supervivere was to be used by Professor Stewart Phoenix to protect his family and his estate, Phoenix Manor, from destruction, but over the years this technical monstrosity was also used for several other suitably vital causes, such as fixing leaks in the Manor's roof and rescuing cats from trees. The most notable alternative use of L'Supervivere was during a lengthy voyage abroad, in which it was used to navigate the treacherous rainforests of the Amazon and defend a party of explorers (including Professor Stewart Phoenix himself) against any threats they may have encountered. At the end of Professor Stewart Phoenix's long and fruitful life, he proclaimed in his last will and testament that L'Supervivere would be passed down to his eldest and only son, Dr Joseph Phoenix, on the sole condition that it mustn't be used for any type of criminal activity and that at the end of his life, he should also pass on L'Supervivere to his eldest son, and that this son should pass it on to HIS eldest son, and so on until what is only described within Professor Stewart Phoenix's will as "The end of all days", but so far no-one has been able to fully understand the meaning behind this choice of words. Mysteriously, after being passed down through several generations L'Supervivere and the Phoenix bloodline completely disappeared from public view in the early 1920s. It is still rumored that L'Supervivere still exists in its original form to this day, but the location of the suit itself and it's rightful owner is currently not known... More images on my Flickr. Enjoy!

  22. Sheriff Ricketts and Deputy Jack have hunted Bill Williamson and his gang of out laws and finally found them in the end of a long pike in a mine called " Gaptooth Breach" The mine has many twists and turns and even a waterfall. There even is a working mine shaft lift. In the end the two lawmen were able to capture and hogtie the outlaw leader, Bill Williamson. See the rest of Gaptooth Breach. Thanks a lot for checking out my MOC and questions and comments are welcome.

    UCS LEGO C-3PO Bust

'Oh hello! My name is C-3PO, human cyborg relations!' Hi guys! This is my first post on the Eurobricks Star Wars forum, so I'm sorry if things aren't 100% legit. After I built the 10018 Darth Maul Bust I wondered if it was possible to make an UCS LEGO C-3PO bust. Inspired by Erik Varsegi's life sized LEGO C-3PO I built a 1:1 life sized bust that took me 3 months. I started with yellow LEGO bricks (ordered from Bricklink), which I spray painted gold afterwards for a realistic effect. I know a lot of you don't like painting your LEGO, but this is an exception, because I will never take the bust apart and use the bricks for other purposes. Besides, ordering these bricks in gold from Bricklink is incredibly expensive, because it contains 9000+ pieces and some bricks are not available in gold. C-3PO's head can turn 180° degrees. The top of his head is removable and the inside is hollow so you have acces to the eyes. And of course, his eyes lit up like in the movie! The bust weights about 12 kilograms (26,5 pounds). May the force be with you!
  24. This is my first time to do an MOC modular building, and it is a chance for me to put my profession into practice in the brick city! (I am working as an architect) There is still a lot of room for improvement and detail refinement, but at least the basic shape is all here. Yes, this is a bank, the Lego Bank of the Golden Scorpion. Finally, the Lego citizens can get their money here for shopping at the Grand Emporium and watching movies at the Palace Cinema! And yes, finally my street is starting to look different than the others! Overall view, the workers are cleaning up the place and preparing to get off work... The main entrance has two doors, left and right, separated by a little pond. The middle fountain is a mushroom jet, and water at the entrance? It is all about feng shui! (in Chinese feng shui, flowing water means money!) The front elevation is decorated with a lot of golden pieces, and the scorpion logo is right there too. It has a golden and silver on its left and right sides respectively, symbolizing trading and monetary matters. Let's talk a look at the first floor. Instead of making the whole floor removable, I retain the front facade of the 1st floor to the G/F, as a little test to see if this section cut is more useful or interesting... G/F . Basic Services (card return, passbook check, ATM, appointment booking...) The ground floor has a small counter for some basic and easy services. A guard is at the door, while you can see the ATM on the left. On the right is a lift to other floors, and it is a bubble lift! (glass lift) Another angle of the floor. A staff is handing a new credit card to the client... Let's have a ride on the lift to the next floor! 1/F Bank Vault The bank vault storing the most valuable things is located on the 1st floor. Today some green money cases are delivered and a staff is watching. Well, sounds like there are enough gold bars to buy the new Lone Ranger Lego sets coming this summer! 2/F Premium / Advance Services The topmost floor is for advance banking services, where you can find a bigger counter (I should put more staff in). The table on the left allows customers to talk to staff on more serious matters like setting up new accounts, insurance policies or getting more information on new saving plans. There are also seats for customers to wait during busy hours. Another angle. The call button of the lift is not on the wall but on a pedestal. This guy at the counter is taking out quite some money from his account! There is nothing on the roof for security reasons. You know people can go to another building from one roof to another in the modular building series, right? It is too easy! So here, there is nothing but a roof with security wire beneath. There is a UPS (uninterrupted power supply) machine but again, it is well secured with alarm system linked to the police station. I guess the crooks cannot get into this bank that easy like in the set 3661! Here is what it is like to be next to the Town Hall! :) Oh, the money transport truck has just arrived! Hope you enjoy it! The bank starts running this Monday! Thanks!
