Maybe he's still on took me a while to get away from those irresistibly cute creatures I really hope he didn't fall in the snow......again... Maybe he traveled back in time to Kamino to avenge Han Solo's carbonation? The chance of this droid successfully leading me out of here is 3514 to 1 MASTER LUKE! I finally found you!!! I'm so glad I found you before the empire did! Luke Skywalker: "um...ok...thanks 3po...?" THE END please leave your comments and suggestions for more of these posts :)
  3. Hi guys, I have just finished another Star Wars MOC. This time I wanted to mess around with the idea of forced perspective and decided to recreate one of my favourite shots from Return of the Jedi. As with all my micro mocs I wanted to stick to the 16x16 base, which in this instance was quite a challenge but eventually I managed to find a way to fit everything I wanted into the scene. The colour palette choice for Jabba's Palace was partly based on the official lego sets of "Jabba's Palace' and 'Rancor Pit' especially the dark grey base for the Palace to sit atop but I decided to go with darker colours for the Palace itself similar to the actual scene from the film. Finally I have recently got hold of the Boushh mini fig (one of my favourites) and so wanted to incorporate her somehow. I then had the idea that Chewie and Liea would have walked the same route to get to Jabba's Palace and so changed the sky to a sunset scene to reflect the time of day they arrived at the Palace. Which do you prefer? C3P0 and R2 or Boushh and Chewie? Also I am thinking of doing some more scenes similar to this, incorporating micro builds and mini figs but wondered if people liked this style? Should I stick to the micro landscapes I have been building or do more scenes in this style?
  4. The Cloud City playset from Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Backs… I wanted to design a fun and playable set which would include the ionic scenes from the Empire Strikes Back film. The aim was to create a set that resembles the shape of the cloud city and offers a playable platform like the Death Star play set. I’m a keen Star Wars fan and as Cloud City hasn’t seen a new set since 2003 I thought I would have a go. I hope you enjoy and welcome your creative input into my project. Thanks for your vote…

  6. On Thanos' endless hunt for the six infinity gems, he has sent MODOK to a distant galaxy to hunt for the Space Gem! However, Iron Man and Falcon have followed him, and have made a few allies along the way. Now they battle on Tatooine to prevent each other from nabbing the Space Gem! R2-D2 is now Iron Man's trusty right-hand man - taking on the mind-controlled Stormtroopers! Unbeknownst to this market seller on his cargo sled, he is the owner of the all-powerful Space Gem! Can you see it? (it's the pink gem in the crate) C-3PO provides valuable information to Iron Man behind the holographic display. Falcon provides support from above. The battle is on between Modok in his upgraded chair, and Iron Man! The young, Rodian child must be put out of danger! He was simply working on his podracer engine when this battle arose. Watto emerges from his crooked shack to see what all the noise is about. That's all folks, hope you like it, and please vote for me!

    UCS LEGO C-3PO Bust

'Oh hello! My name is C-3PO, human cyborg relations!' Hi guys! This is my first post on the Eurobricks Star Wars forum, so I'm sorry if things aren't 100% legit. After I built the 10018 Darth Maul Bust I wondered if it was possible to make an UCS LEGO C-3PO bust. Inspired by Erik Varsegi's life sized LEGO C-3PO I built a 1:1 life sized bust that took me 3 months. I started with yellow LEGO bricks (ordered from Bricklink), which I spray painted gold afterwards for a realistic effect. I know a lot of you don't like painting your LEGO, but this is an exception, because I will never take the bust apart and use the bricks for other purposes. Besides, ordering these bricks in gold from Bricklink is incredibly expensive, because it contains 9000+ pieces and some bricks are not available in gold. C-3PO's head can turn 180° degrees. The top of his head is removable and the inside is hollow so you have acces to the eyes. And of course, his eyes lit up like in the movie! The bust weights about 12 kilograms (26,5 pounds). May the force be with you!
