    MOC: Batman vs Black Mask

Batman vs Black Mask Bullets fly as Batman attempts to take down the powerful drug kingpin Black Mask in his run down narcotics warehouse. This is the largest Batman creation I’ve made, and in addition to being packed full of details, it’s also the first time I’ve made a scene where Batman is after the Black Mask. It’s also my first creation that’s greatly inspired by the Arkham games, with the character choices stemming from the soon to be released Arkham Origins. The build itself features tons of details from twin conveyor belts moving drugs to six large windows. There’s also two wall mounted ventilation fans as well as two celling fans. There’s also three large support beams on the roof that hold up three large lights that Batman is running across (Dodging fire at the same time!). A small office is there too, as well as two gargoyles for the Dark Knight to perch on. Clean up in the narcotics aisle... This creation was actually first shown in an interview I had with Beyond the Brick. You can watch that interview .Inverted Takedown Enjoy ~Captain Nemo

    Possibly mismolded mask?

I recently obtained a bulk lot of Bionicle pieces, one kanohi caught my eye, at first it seemed like a normal Blue and silver komau from the Vhisola set, but I noticed a small slither of silver on the mask's "chin" after looking at photos and pictures of the mask no other examples seemed to have this, is it rare or just uncommon? Notice on the left part of the chin. so what do you think, do you have any peculiar masks to share?
  4. On bricklink I've discovered the Akaku mask in copper, but there is no information about what set it came in, does anyone know where it is from?

    Guy Fawkes

Hello, this is the mask from "V for Vendetta". It´s my entry for a contest on Master-Builders The challenge is to build a face with 100 bricks or less. It would be nice if someone would join. The contest ends on 27.02.2017.
  6. Hey guys, thought I'd try to flesh out my CCBS skills for once. I was really handy with the G1 constraction system, but with CCBS it just doesn't feel like things fit together right for me yet. And then I saw the Rebrick.lego.com contest. I absolutely love Bionicle, and I would kill to have a signed art book and a complete G2 collection. But murder is illegal, and wouldn't get me the signed art book, so I had to build. I think I have the legs and body down pretty solid, I might add wings to it, but I'm not feeling like it's done. Any criticisms or advice? This is the main body shot. I don't have the mask of ultimate power, since I can't find any of the new sets at my Target, ToysRUs, or Lego Store, but I made do with what I have. And this is a close up of one of the hands. I still haven't built any weapons for Makuta, Lord of Shadows, but it's possible to place them in his hand due to a technic hole from the technic beam w/ ball joint I'm using to support the thumbs. One thing I'm really worried about is filling out the stomach, below the chest. I built this off of a heavily modified and stripped General Grievous, which gives it sizable bulk, but it does lack attachment points for more shells. Photo for scale. He's more than twice as tall as Tahu, and probably uses 4 times a many pieces. I don't have a cape large enough in my collection for him, unless I decide to cut up a t-shirt, which I don't have any black ones to use. This MOC is in essence my farewell to Bionicle, in the wake of its cancellation. Any criticisms? I want to get this thing polished up before I enter it in the contest.

    Makuta the Mask Maker

It's my MOC of Makuta in his Mask Maker form. Let me know what you think about it... And yeah, the minifig is supposed to be me.

    Is this Real?

I was rambling about the internet and found this list for a movie version of the Mask of Shadows: http://www.ebay.com/itm/LEGO-BIONICLE-BLACK-KRAAHKAN-MOVIE-EDITION-MAKUTA-Mata-Nui-Titan-8593-MASK-/231591636853?nma=true&si=r2a769c7riItsoFnS%252FjJh10Oc1A%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 The listing has ended apparently and I have no interest in actual getting it, but my curiosity has been peaked! Is this a real thing and if so what did it come with? I myself cannot remember a thing about!

    24 Karat Gold Mask Stand

When Lego sent out the 24 karat gold mask prizes, they sent brick built stands with them, for ease of display. The recipient of the 24 karat gold mask of earth (not me) uploaded a video on youtube of how to make that stand. After I found it, I ordered the pieces for three of them (I've only received the pieces for two so far), as well as some other pieces so I could make some alterations to the original design. (I don't know how to embed it, but I'd like to), but just so you know, two of the steps are out of order somewhere in the middle, where it shows one step with a half bush, and the next step doesn't have it. The alterations I made are that I put a 2x2 round plate under each grated parabola that matches the color of that parabola (to stop them from spinning), and I put a pin (mine were friction, but I'm not sure that matters) in the spot where the mask attaches in order to make that hole smaller, which makes the mask very unlikely to tilt down on the stand. An added advantage to the 2x2 round plates is that the bottoms of them meet when they're put on the stand, so it reduces the pressure applied to the parabolas during construction. We may not all have been able to get the 24 karat gold masks, but now we can use the stands they came with.
  10. Here's the progression topic for my entry to TC7 It's a bandits off road buggy that features a flying battle mode. Here are my rudimentary plans. Please excuse the lack of scale, real measurements, color, and or anything resembling a coherent image. My goal is to make it "toy like" It will probably have one motor that folds everything in, and then a lever that releases spring loaded wings.
  11. I came back from the Lego Inside Tour few days ago. One of my favourite items we got, beside the special set, was this exclusive Gali mask. It is made in limited quantity of 200. It was given to us by Bionicle designers. Although I'm not Bionicle fan, I love this mask!
  12. Hey guys. I've been working on something over the weekend and I'd like to keep it to myself and bask in its awesomeness share it with you. So here we go. Embedding isn't working. So here's the
  13. Hi! I'm usually a Bzpower resident, but I wanted to post here as well for this . Due to me being a new member, contacting me by PM would best be done on BZpower (as I can't actually send PMs on this site yet). Some of you old timers may remember me from a fan project that went on waaaaay back when to create 3D media for Bionicle called Bionicle: Next Generation, or as the guy who made the 3D model which was later turned into a solid bronze vahi (http://www.bzpower.c...me-human-scale/) and 3D printed a voya nui online game style Ignika (http://www.bzpower.c...tyle-real-mask/). A few months back I was with a friend who shares my love of Bionicle and he showed me a redesign of a Miru he drew. Since his birthday was coming up I suggested that I could model his design and get it printed. As you can imagine he jumped on the idea and after a month or so of on and off work I finally had a final model, and a couple weeks after that his present arrived in the mail from Shapeways. I unfortunately forgot to ask him to get some pictures of it before he painted it, but with that aside I really like what he did with the white paint and I feel it gives it a tribal feeling reminiscent of those early years. Here is the Photobucket gallery: http://s1164.photobu...y/Miru redesign inside it are also some progress pictures (that are pretty bad quality I must admit as at the time I was just using them for feedback from my friend) as well as some of the original drawings my friend did. I apologize for not having better quality images of the mask itself, I'm just using what I have. After seeing the mask, me and my buddy were really happy with how it turned out, so we thought we might as well make it available to anyone else who wants one! I have a topic discussing the details of obtaining that along with my old Ignika model (which I am now also putting up for you guys on Shapeways) right here: http://www.bzpower.c...esign-for-sale/
  14. The Warehouse section of the Sionis Steel Mill from the video game "Batman: Arkham Origins" This was my first time using lettering in Lego and i think it turned out great!
  15. Hugo Strange: Wake up Mr. Wayne, we have much to discuss. Bruce Wayne. Strange! You won't get away with this! Hugo Strange: I already have. Bruce Wayne: Shut Arkham City down, its out of control. Hugo Strange: Shut it down? By the end of tonight i will be a hero, just like you BATMAN! I feel i should thank you, capturing Bruce Wayne is so much easier then Batman. And now that we have you Protocol Ten is ready to begin. It will be my legacy, a monument to your failure and if you try and stop me, i guarantee everyone will know you secret. TYGER Guard: Welcome to Arkham City, Wayne! Inmate: What are you going here, Wayne? Inmate: Did you kill your butler? Inmate: Your going to die in here, rich boy! Inmate: Your going to be my bitch Wayne! Inmate: Your mine! TYGER Guard: Back on the ground! What are you waiting for, Wayne? Line A, Move! Black Mask: No one arrests Black Mask. No one! TYGER Guard: Line A, prisoner! TYGER Guard: Wayne! You're in line A! Move it, rich boy! TYGER Guard: You two get out of the way! Wayne! Get your megablocks up here! Floyd Lawton: Bruce Wayne? you're on my list. Bang. Hahaha TYGER Guard: Move up, prisoner! Hugo Strange: Lower your weapons. Mr. Wayne will not be any trouble. Will you, Mr. Wayne? The cuffs can stay on. We don't need to make things too easy, do we? TYGER Guard: Close the doors. Prepare for insertion! Based off the opening from the video game "Batman: Arkham City" I really enjoyed this build but it was a pain to photograph. I also added some more Arkham City items in the Moc too, try and guess what they are. I would of liked to add a lot of prisoners but i only had one orange torso and the inmate one from the Arkham Asylum set, so that sorta takes away from it.
