  2. Hello everyone, This is my design for the LEGO Rebrick Freighter Wars contest (building your own YT Corellian light freighter). Here's a link to the entry with additional pics: https://www.lego.com/en-us/rebrick/view-entry. The Dashing Banshee is named after the Corellian Banshee bird and upgraded with everything available in terms of speed and concealment. The YT-1300 light freighter was refitted to be used as a courier ship. It is equipped with technology to escape, elude and hide from any pursuer. Sporting no visible weaponry helps to keep a low profile. The model was designed from scratch in LDD and consists of 5173 parts. I went for a smooth design based on the original YT-1300 with some distinctive modifications. Hope you like it!
  3. The AFOL Brick House

BREAKING NEWS! LEGO TO GO INTO THE REAL ESTATE MARKET The AFOL Brick House by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr The world-famous Danish Company known for its toys and highly sophisticated interlockable brick systems took the plunge into the real estate market with a new type of prefabricated house targeted to AFOLs (acronym for ‘adult fan of LEGO’). The standard model in red, is three-storey connected by elegant stairs, features wooden floors, large windows across the whole rear of the house, a amazing Wurlitzer Jukebox, and even a glass display sitting in between the ground and 1st floor hosting a UCS Millenium Falcon in it (included in the price). The AFOL Brick House by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr Now on the layout of the various floors: The AFOL Brick House by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr Ground floor will have a Brick Room, where you can sort your bricks, a work bench with a brick separator, a personal computer and some cupboards to store your parts. The AFOL Brick House by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr First floor will have a lovely living room with crystal displays, to showcase your favourite sets and custom creations to AFOL friends while listening music playing in the Jukebox. The AFOL Brick House by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr Second floor will have a big table to host a city diorama (included in each house, but you can customize to your liking) and practise before taking your stuff to events. A manhole will also lead you to the attic to blow the cobwebs away and, who knows, sport a new IDEAS creation! This whole house will be just 1590 pieces including furniture! The AFOL Brick House by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr You may ask yourselves: ‘No bathroom? A bed? Kitchen?’ Nothing to worry about, a hardcore AFOL doesn’t need any of these and even so there will be some other modular building next to this one where you would seek help. As we said, the model will be of 1590 pieces. Just because you can’t split it like conventional modular buildings, it will have hinges to open the rear all in one piece. The AFOL Brick House by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr All floor can be pulled out to ease playability and to make changes to the layout. This innovative modular building fits to any other existing LEGO products, and gives a touch of color to your city theme. The AFOL Brick House by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr Just try now to visualize it the real word, or your city. Would it be awesome, don’t you think? How colourful any city would be, or more beautiful? I would personally buy it, if only LEGO would produce it. Who ever dream of a place where you could express your passion for bricks to the best? For now, it’s only possible to vote for this project, who knows where the future leads.. My first proposition of the model is red, a real classic color for LEGO. The AFOL Brick House by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr On a unrelated side note, the story behind my nickname. ‘VedoSoloLEGO’ means ‘I see only LEGOs’ in Italian, my native language. Reason behind that is anything i look at I try to picture it in brick shape. I hope you enjoy it. Technical notes: The model has been created with Mecabriks and rendered via Blender. Special thanks to gabriele.zannotti for the wonderful pictures and support; without his help, it wouldnt even be possible to show you this project with thee lovely hires pics. If you would like to keep in touch with the project you can subscribe to my Ideas profile, including my other projects, or on Flickr, Facebook, Twitter, Mocpages, by looking for my username ‘VedoSoloLEGO’. If you like this project, please share and vote here https://ideas.lego.com/projects/154372 Your help is much appreciated. Thanks!
  4. [MOC] Millennium Falcon

Hi There This is my first post here.. errr topic , and it will be about my MOC. Nothing really fancy here, i just want to have a bigger Falcon to sit down with my UCS Slave 1 (which i haven't build yet). Since the UCS Flacon is out of reach, i decided to create a bigger falcon out of 2 system scale falcons (75015) plus some extra bricks. My Goal is to make it similar to the system scale but bigger, meaning it should have an interior. Here it is: It is a bit smaller than the UCS version.. i think.. but almost the same scale as the UCS Slave 1.. i think.. I want to detail the underside, but my wallet said no. Sorry for the bad pictures!
  5. Hello, I am looking to build a Minifigure scale Lego Millennium Falcon with a detailed interior. Though I am not very good at designing in Lego form (or Lego Digital Designer), so i was wondering if anyone had any instructions for this or if anyone has a LDD file for this that would great. Also I was wondering how i would go about building a project like this. Thanks Louis
  6. Hi Guys, been a while! Just thought I would drop a quick line letting anyone know that instructions are available for my GTHO, only 4.5 years after I first started building! hahaha. I have received a lot of enquirers about the instructions and its those people that keep me at it, through to completion. Please check out Rebrickable. :) Now I can finally start on something new! YAY ;P
  7. These MOCs are made from 50 pieces, no more, no less. Click on the images to get a breakdown/parts list, and you can make them for yourself!
  8. Millennium Falcon

I have a question about about the Millennium Falcon lego set number 10179. I found a collection of 22 Lego sets at an estate sale. Most of them were unopened and still in their original boxes. I bought the lot for my 10 year old son. He assembled most of the smaller sets and was just about the assemble the Millennium Falcon when a friend of mine pointed out the value of the piece. Unfortunately he had already opened the box but hadn't yet opened all of the individual bags. I was wondering since he has already opened the box would it devalue the piece any more if I was to let him put it together? He has opened half of the bags already.
  9. Built for the 2016 MOCAthalon, the category this time was “Classic Update.” I chose to update the Black Falcon Fortress #6074. The original featured a working drawbridge and hinging walls to allow for multiple building layouts. I kept both those features, and added a dual catapult, jail with break-away wall, great hall with fireplace and table, and a stables with working gate. There are 6 minifigs included: 4 Black Falcons, and 2 Crusaders, plus there are two horses, some extra weapons, and a treasure chest. There are 2 ladders to allow minifigs to reach the walls, and they can fold up out of the way so you can reach into the interior. See more pictures on brickbuilt Thanks for looking, I hope you enjoyed this remake of a classic set. I admit to rigorously play testing this model
  10. [MOC] TIE and Falcon

I've had these built for a few days now; thought I'd post them together. Currently there are plans to build several more micro-ships with some recognizable scenes.
  11. 10179 Millennium Falcon Mods

Hey, I've been bricklinking the UCS Falcon from 2007 and have seen a lot of mods. I usually mod stuff that I bricklink, and was looking for inspiration. If you've modded one and want to share what you've done/know of a modded one, post it here. 12. [MOC] Falcon - Movie Version

So, a lot of the Avengers character that were released were movie accurate. Fair enough since that movie has put enough capital into Marvel to keep them going for a few years. But when they started releasing the other characters, they were Cartoon accurate. Again fine, so I split my Avenger mini figs into two groups, Movie and Comic. This is a custom Movie Falcon. I used the Knock off Hawk Eye that you can buy on Ebay for about $3, then replaced his arms with black arms. Fitted a black 1x1 stud bib and a Travis block and then added a pair of Lego wings from the Chima line, finally finished with a Red translucent wedge for the rocket burn. https://scontent-b-lhr.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xap1/t31.0-8/1040422_10153286783167656_7833682590755516325_o.jpg
  13. HALO Falcon Transport Helicopter

A realistic, well-built and beautiful lego model of the famous HALO Falcon transport helicopter. It features: - a cockpit for 1 pilot - 3 seats in the troop bay - adjustable angle of engines and rear wings - a unique set to put up in your room The pictures are too big so I cannot post them on this forum, but you can check them out here:
  14. Hello everyone. You can see the troso designs (very simple - clasic style) on one fo the pictures. Let me know your feedback.
  15. Hi all, So another self purchase and build on the cards. I am going to use this thread as a build journal and a question post because i have one right away! I didnt have the money for this when it came out and I only found out today that you could build it yourself! Fantastic idea and I cant wait to get started on it but even sourcing all the parts is great fun and im looking forward to the adventure :) I started purchasing parts today from BrickLink and while I was doing so I came across a peice of software called brickstore. Great peice of software but I am a tad confused about why it has duplicate entrys of the same item called 'Extra'. At the bottom of the software it says 288 lots which is how many my list says in bricklink so I assume its correct but then when I remove the 'Extras' it obviously goes down in total lots. They seem to be exactly the same, same colour, item number and everything so maybe someone here could tell me what it is for and do i need to keep them or can I delete them? Just as an added thing I thought I would post a pic of my 7965 MF that my GF bought me a couple of years ago for christmas (shes a top girl :) ) Anywho, any help would be great as I dont want to overpurchase anything.
