  2. This racer has rear wheel drive, without a diferential to avoid becoming stuck on slight ground changes. The default gear ratio is 1:1,667 which means it can run really fast if you give it space, but isn’t able to take on slopes, you can change the gears if you so wish when building, there is space for that. It is by no means a mechanical wonder but features what is called a “realistic pivot steering”, which means the front wheels don’t travel back and forth while turning, this allowed me to design the hood very close to the tires without the problem of colliding and causing friction, and it also allows for a very good turning radius. Main functions: -One l-motor powers both rear wheels with a ratio of 1:1,667 to make it run forward or backwards. -One servo motor controlls the ralistic pivot steering mechanism with an excellent turning radius.   3. Model of an American Mack truck with a container semi-trailer. The model uses small battery pack, sbrick, XL motor for driving and servo motor for steering. The truck and semi-trailer has a working suspension on all wheels, which you can see in the video.

  6. Hello everyone! Maybe it's too early, but let it happen. What do you think of the Speed Champions series in 2022? Do you think it will disappear or continue, or will it be under a different name? Anyway, personally, I think they will stay with us for a long time (after all, they have made specially new wheels for 2021). It seems to me that there is a good chance to see in 2022 in the SC series such cars: - BMW M8 (maybe GTE) - Pagani Zonda or Huayra - Ferrari - some F1 car - due to Toyota license can Toyota gr010 (hypercar) - maybe some cars from the DTM or VASC series Post comments about what you think.

The legendFunctions- Working steering wheel- 5+R dogleg gearbox- Fake V8 working engine- Independent double wishbone suspension at all 4 wheels- Openable doors, front and rear clamshell- Manually operated pop-up headlights Design and InspirationThis creation is inspired by the fantastic work of @jorgeopesi from 7-8 years ago, reborn with contemporary Lego Technic pieces. I kept the gear shift mechanism of the original, and changed the gearbox to a modified version of @Rudivdk's 5+R manual transmission. Some exterior solutions also take reference from jorge's version, but everything else from steering, suspension setup to engine, body panels etc are my own designs. It's not a mod by any means, but hopefully a worthy remake. With the evolution of LEGO parts palette over the years, I have also managed to add more details to the model, such as: - cooling slots under the rear spoiler - exhaust manifold and a see-through rear grille - detailed interior and more representative racing bucket seats - detailed engine bay with all the bells and whistles (intercoolers, airboxes, etc) - as well as, the iconic line that runs across the entire car - also worth mentioning is the 3-piece rod hidden in the rear bumper that supports the rear clamshell when it's opened. Construction The car was originally built with parts from set 8145, 8070, and additional parts from my parts bin. However, 2x 42125 is also a great base, which provides 70% of the parts. The missing 30% is listed here. When making instructions, I have also tried to substitute expensive parts such as Red 14L soft axles, or Red 1x6 thin liftarms with more affordable solutions. The wheels used in the instruction are also from set 42125 to save cost, but if you want to use standard technic 56mm D wheels - part 15038, just need to use 7L liftarms instead of 6L as the rear wishbones. These wheels will stick out a bit and provide a slight rake, giving the car a more aggressive look. The wheels used in photos are third party/non-lego parts. They are great (provide a good offset between the front and rear wheel covers, making the rear wheels look "deeper") but perhaps not for the purists. You can send me a private message if you want to know where I get those wheels from, but note that I'm in no way affiliated with the seller. Instruction hereThe instructions booklet is 666-page long and contains 828 steps (talk about "Manifest" if you watch that show :D). You will find 11 modules and 10 assembly stages in between to combine the modules to form the final model. You can follow the instructions in the chronological order of the pages, or skip around, build all the modules first (in whichever order you like) and then follow the assembly steps, just like how real cars are built in the factory.   8. Hello Big Lebowski, Corvette and Speed Champions fans, do you remember the hilarious The Big Lebowski scene? Walter Sobchak (Dude's best friend) destroys a brand new, red Chevrolet Corvette C4 (1985) with a crowbar. This car, colloquially known as the 'Vette, is a two-door, two-passenger sports car manufactured and marketed by Chevrolet across more than 60 years of production and eight design generations. The fourth-generation was the first complete redesign of the Corvette since 1963 and it is known for its sleek look. It was produced from 1983 to 1996. An other inspiration came from one of my favorite Matchbox as a child, and that color scheme will be built soon too :). This car could be a nice addition to the set 76903 "Chevrolet Corvette C8.R Race Car and 1968 Chevrolet Corvette". A-Team color scheme is possible too :). I wanted to create a sleek model which is as accurate as possible in this small scale. I prefer to minimize the use of stickers to keep the flexibility of the used parts in further builds, and therefore this model include only one standard Lego sticker. My intent was to keep the width-length-height ratio of the real car and this size makes it possible. The model contains lots of details: for example the pop-up headlights (the model can be built either with opened or closed headlights), the black stripes on the sides, the gray bottom part, the glass hatchback, the side-view mirrors, the tiltable seats etc.. Maybe the most challenging one was the iconic rear side with the vehicle registration plate, here there is a half stud offset. I tried to fill every unnecessary gaps and therefore some tricky build techniques are used. The model has space for two minifigures. I suggest to use small hairs. Without the seats minifigures with bigger hairs can be used too if they are leaned back. (The Walter Sobchak minifigure has a custom torso and head, similar ones are available in some webshops. Its other body parts and the crowbar are standard parts.)   9. Hey everyone, I'm back with my latest MOC: the car transporter! It's a model I have been wanting to build for a really long time, and have actually attempted but failed once already. The MOC has 2 power functions and 3 pneumatic functions: Lowering upper platform (power) Lowering ramp (power) Raising platform on top of cab (pneumatic) Raising platform on deck (pneumatic) Tilting upper platform (pneumatic) There are also a lot of manual functions, like classics such as HoG steering, fake engine, suspension, and specific to this one unfolding the ramp. I also tried to add in as many details as possible, such as mirrors, lights, etc (and this is my first ever cab design). Video: That's it, thanks for reading/watching! I wanted to create a sleek model which is as accurate as possible in this small scale. My intent was to keep the width-length-height ratio of the real car and this size makes it possible.     [MOC] Skoda 105 (Estelle)

    Hello Skoda and Speed Champions fans, Skoda 105 is one of the iconic Eastern Bloc cars of my childhood. It was a rear-engined, rear-wheel drive small family car that was produced by Czechoslovakian car manufacturer AZNP in Mladá Boleslav, Czechoslovakia between 1976 and 1990. Engine sizes were 1.05 and 1.2 liters respectively. The color scheme of this model is based on my father's first car. Building instructions are available on the following links: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-93968/_TLG_/skoda-105/#details https://www.mocsmarket.com/lego-mocs/skoda-105-building-instructions/ It is a studless build in the original, 6 studs wide Speed Champions scale and fits perfectly to the new City style cars too. I have minimized the number of the stickers to keep the flexibility of the parts in further builds, therefore only two standard vehicle registration plate stickers are used. I wanted to build the model as accurate as possible in this small scale, therefore it contains lots of details: for example the front ligths, the front grill with the narrow chrome line and Skoda logo, the side view mirrors and the rear view mirrors, the door handles, the black rubber stripe on the sides etc... Maybe the most challenging one was the C pillar solution. I tried to fill every unnecessary gaps and therefore some tricky build techniques are used. The model has space for two minifigures: one on the front seat with small or middle sized hair (the rear view mirror assembly has to be removed in this case) and one on the rear seat without any hair. I prefer the model as it is shown on the pictures, but there are some modification possibilties: a) a rear windscreen can be added (there is a more detailed explanation in the last step), b) many of Skoda 105 cars has side view mirrors only on one side, c) on the real cars the color of the door handles and side view mirrors are sometimes black on the other ones they are chrome.   16. Hi everyone! After building some bikes me and friend (who's gonna post his entry one of these days) challenged each other to make the smallest RC vehicle possible and why not, also make it ridiculously overpowered :) So I made this little city car, it has some brutal power given by the buggy motor connected with the fast output and geared up to 1.666. It should travel at around 10kmh but given the high center of mass, like a city car thrown at 160kmh as soon as you try to make a sharp turn it rolls over... wich I admit it's pretty fun! Indoors it performs crazy drifts and it's really enjoyable to drive around, probably geared 1:1 it would be even better for indoor usage. I hope you'll like it !!!   17. Warning: Long post and many pics, mobile user might be careful about the data usage. And bad English. Damn when will this end. This post is more like a record post, I will try to list all the modifications I did on the model. Chapter One: Begining 2018 Aug - 2018 Oct All things start from 2018 mid-August, Lego has officially release the Bugatti Chiron 42083. But I am too broke and poor can't afford it yet (still a student), so I have decide to just do some crazy build at the Lego Digital Designer (LDD) to pretend I have one of it. For the first, I found the 42083.LDD file at this post and the first modification I did is trying to convert it to RC with Buwizz. Here are some of the first references I found on the internet, the source has lost. Then I am just thinking would I do something crazy than this? And I pop up an idea. 8 XL power Bugatti Chiron And all the things are starting from this idea... v2.3 24/08/2018 This is the first power configuration I did, the xl motor is having a gear ratio at 1:3. Which I regret later when I finish building in real life later but that is another story. Also due to the space limit, I have to remove the original big fat W16 and replace it with Didumos's w16 engine design. v2.5 25/08/2018 This is the final configuration I have come with and found this is extremely clever(?), even at the current latest version of the mod still has not change too much of this setup. Chapter Two: The first build 2018 Sep - 2018 Oct After I finish the first (wrong) power configuration, I have another idea is to convert this project to Bugatti Vision instead of Chiron. Also, the color configuration changes to Panda set but highlighted with red. v2.8 29/08/2018 from this. V3.9 16/10/2018 To this. And then I finally have the money to afford this and build it in real life. And the first build has completed, the looks are ok but the road test has successfully failed. As I said before, the gear ratio is 1:3 (12:36), it did run smooth but the 12T gear is damage so fast and it is hard to replace. So on the later versions, It has downgraded to 1:1.6667 (12:20) so the damage is not too high. Also, the RC door is lovely and so so smooth. I am happy with it. The mechanism of the RC door is simple, using an L shape as a Principle of leverage to push out the door. And it is driven by 2x M Motors, one for each side. v3.9 16/10/2018 Chapter Three: The raise of Pneumatic 2018 Oct - 2018 Dec And after the first in real life build setup, things got more and more crazy. The first idea is to make a wide-body kit to let it more steady and heavy. v4.7 09/12/2018 v4.7 inside 09/12/2018 As you can see things go super crazy right here, some of them are working and some of them did not. First, the yellow 5L beam represent of Pneumatic Cylinder V2 1 x 5, the LDD did not have this parts, so... The title of this modification is Pneumatic, include: - Pneumatic Suspension (not work so well at this stage) - Pneumatic center differential lock (failed, rejected) - Pneumatic Disc Brakes (not work at all, rejected) - Pneumatic Door / Pneumatic Dynamic Suspension control (works good after 5 modification later) - Pneumatic Rear Wing control (works well, although I have changed the wing completely at the latest version) "Pneumatic Driven Clutch Brakes & Pneumatic Rear Spoiler Control & Door / Pneumatic Dynamic Suspension control" switch This sound crazy but it is basically having a Servo motor to switch pneumatic valve to active 2 set of action: Set A: - Suspension control (soft/hard) - lock center differential - Un-deploy rear wing - Deactivate Brakes v4.7 09/12/2018 Set B: - Door control (left and right) - unlock center differential - Deploy rear wing - Activate Brakes v4.7 09/12/2018 At then, of course, I have to build it to see how fail it would. Also, you might see there are some electrical wire, those are the custom light, but I don't like it too much at the end. (removed later) And after finished the build, only the rear wing and the SetA/B switch works. - Pneumatic Suspension (too weak and need to redesign) - Pneumatic center differential lock (the differential did not engage well) - Pneumatic Disc Brakes (it can active but can't deactivate, wtf) - Pneumatic Door / Pneumatic Dynamic Suspension control (works good) - Pneumatic Rear Wing control (works well) SetA/B switch works smooth And the first major that has to be solved has to be the Suspension design, I have underrated the weight of the car (~3.4kg), it has to be SOME Suspension. Chapter Four: Redesign the Suspensions 2019 Jan - 2019 Mar Then I saw a post about redesign the whole 42083: [Review|Rant|Mod|MOC|WIP] 42083 revisited by Erik Leppen His suspension redesign has given me an idea... Photo by Erik Leppen And then pop! A new set of suspension design has finished. (Same, yellow 5L beam represent of Pneumatic Cylinder V2 1 x 5) v5 Front 19/03/2019 v5 rear 19/03/2019 Real-life build. New vs old Also, I have remove the rear&front differential to replace with 3:1 (36:12) gear for more tough. (Now planing to replace with new differential 65414&65413) But it turns out it still too weak and soft, so I decided to add 2 hard spring suspension each side. v6.2 30/06/2019 The topside is hard spring suspension and the lower is Pneumatic Cylinder. And it turns out too hard this time... Solution: decrease one spring suspension on each side. Problem solved. Chapter Five: Divo and Second real-life build & first photo shooting 2019 Mar And the next title update is to convert it to the color of Bugatti Divo. v6 28/06/2019 Real-life build. At this stage(v6) I thought I finish this model, it is a good time to stop. And I did feel it is a bit of ugly now but I like it at that moment. So I decided to let it have a Pro photo shooting. Nikon D810 with Sigma ART 40mm With 2 AD200 Flashlight And here are some the pics: Full album here: imgur It is funny that the figure is 1/10 scale and the car is 1/8, it feels so small. And also you see there are lots of stickers, which I don't like it a month later and super regret why I do this. Chapter Six: The come back of 5292 2019 June - 2019 July As all we know, the Lego 5292 Buggy RC motor has discontinued from TLG. And it is selling like 100USD for one on the internet. At the first brainstorm planning, I did have a plan to have 8x 5292 Buggy power plan, but due to the cost, it has been rejected. But one day, I saw this on China market. What the. China has already china the 5292?!!! And it only sold as 68RMB! (~9.8USD) And then this forbidden update has been relaunched. v6 28/06/2019 Due to the size of the 5292 is a bit bigger than 2XL motors, most of the body frame has to be redesign. v9 13/01/2020 Real-life build. And it turns out pretty damn nice! Even in Buwizz slow power mode, it runs pretty smooth too. Due to space limitations and wait for new differential 65414&65413 then I will bring it to a bigger to have a run test. Chapter Seven: The real Divo 2019 June - 2019 Nov One day, I am scrolling Facebook and saw this post from Marc Vink. Post link: link His creation is amazing and his rear light did gave me an idea... Why don't I convert my Bugatti to a truly Divo? Not a Divo-vision thing. Photo by Marc Vink And I have try to create my own one. (Reference to Marc Vink's design) v6.1 29/06/2019 v7.7 25/10/2019 And I think that is it, that is the one. Order parts, build it. Finished and it did look way better than I expected!
  18. This is my mod of the Mystery Machine. I think LEGO did a great job with the set but I wanted the van to be able to fit all of the gang. The sides no longer open but the van has doors that open in back. The interior is chock full of detective gear and can fit 3 figs in the front and two in the back. More pics can be found here.   19. Ok, so this townhouse MOC is actually a MOD of a MOC. It was taken from a set of Shrieking Shack instructions by JL.Bricks and heavily modified into a facsimile of the Polar Express narrator child's house... or, at least it's close enough to work with a de-winterized Winter Village line and / or Hogsmeade Village Visit without snow. (set 76388) See this Rebrickable link to see what I modified it from. The building was originally winter themed, but it clashes way too much with my other buildings that way, as they aren't winter themed. Basically, it's a normal townhouse now, but can be quickly converted by slapping white parts onto the roof, adding a decorated pine tree out front and Christmas decorations throughout. The back of the house is a new design by me. I had to redo the roof from plates ands tiles (as it was originally shown) to slopes as it was too fragile. (This made me add in an attic to the inside for structural support as well.) The lower floor features a coat rack, steam heater borrowed from set 10185. (Green Grocer) Upstairs we have the child narrator's bed (plus another steam radiator) with clock and picture frame on the walls. More details are in the back of the house, such a kitchen stove and more living room details plus a train layout upstairs. Sadly, there was no room for stairs in this building. This vehicle was originally inspired by @hachiroku's model of the staff car from Raiders of the Lost Ark, and can be found here in his photo-stream. It's not inspired by the Polar Express film, but if fits the time period it takes place in. It's never outright stated, but I'm thinking the Polar Express film takes place about 1950 or even the very late 1940's. So this late '30's car is a little like 10 years old give-or-take in-universe. (That's actually understandable given car production was stopped for a few years here in the USA, rubber tires / gasoline were rationed for quite a while, and personal travel was discouraged during WWII... so it could be a basically brand-new 10 year old car.) It seats two figs, - one in front and one behind - plus the two front doors open. The car is already built (except the roof of it), along with a few pieces of the furniture on the inside of the house. Any Thoughts? EDIT 10/28/21: All 981 parts found so far of the 1,500 total used on my Harry Potter / Polar Express house. Some have been pre-assembled into furniture and the car, but most of the parts are loose. This includes a bag of two hundred reddish brown 1 x 1 bricks (modified, with one stud on side) just arrived a week ago from LEGO Bricks and Pieces.

Hello Magnum, Ferrari and Speed Champions fans, this targa topped 1984 Ferrari 308GTSi Quattrovalvole (pictures 1 and 6) was made famous by the television series Magnum, p.i. in which the series' lead, Thomas Magnum (Tom Selleck) drove the car around Oahu for eight seasons while on his investigations, from 1980 to 1988. Several 308 GTS cars were used, a new one for each season, most being auctioned off after filming and all with the license plate ROBIN 1. The berlinetta version of this model is called Ferrari 308GTB Quattrovalvole (pictures 2-5 and 7-8). The design inspiration of this model came from a Ferrari 308 Matchbox which I received as a child. I wanted to create a sleek models which are as accurate as possible in this small scale. Only two stickers are used per model: the rectangular Ferrari logo, and the vehicle registration plate, to keep the flexibility of the used parts in further builds. My intent was to keep the width-length-height ratio of the real car and this size makes it possible. The models contain lots of details: for example the emblematic air vents on the hood (black on GTS and red on GTB), the front bumper with the turn signal lights, the tilted front grill, the rear three quarter window with black cover, the turn signal lights on the front side, the black stripe on the sides, the side-view mirrors, the tiltable seats etc.. Maybe the most challenging one was the iconic rear side with the vehicle registration plate, here there is a half stud offset. I tried to fill every unecessary gaps and therefore some tricky build techniques are used. The model has space for two minifigures. I suggest to use small hairs. Without the seats and the two interior tan tiles minifigures with bigger hairs can be used too if they are leaned back.   21. Hello Chevy and Speed Champions fans, The 1957 Chevrolet is a car that was introduced by Chevrolet in September 1956 for the 1957 model year. It was available in three series models: the upscale Bel Air, the mid-range Two-Ten, and the One-Fifty. It is a popular and sought after classic car. Its image has been frequently used in toys, graphics, music, movies, and television. The '57 Chevy, as it is often known, is an auto icon. This model is based on one of my favorite Matchbox as a child. Building instructions are available on the following links: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-87788/_TLG_/57-chevy-matchbox-version It is a studless model in the new, 8 studs wide Speed Champions style. It can be built either with fixed doors, or with openable doors. I personally prefer the fixed door version (Speed Champions style) as it is more sturdy and there are no half plate thick gaps below the doors. I minimized the use of stickers to keep the flexibility of the used parts in further builds, therefore only two standard vehicle registration plate stickers are used. My intent was to keep the width-length-height ratio of the real car and this size makes it possible. I wanted to build the model as accurate as possible in this small scale, therefore it contains lots of details: for example the brick built flame decoration, the emblematic front bumper with the vehicle registration plate and front lights, the side view mirrors and the rearview mirror, the tiltable seats etc.. Maybe the most challenging one was the brick built number on the trunk. I tried to fill every unecessary gaps and therefore some tricky build techniques are used. The model has space for two minifigures on the front seats. There are some space before the rear seats too, but it is enough only for a minifigure without legs.   24. Hi everyone. I'm c-t, I'm new here. I just wanted to share my Tumbler MOC from the Dark Knight movies with you all and get some feedback. I've tried to build one in this scale before and this is by far my best attempt. I'm really happy with how it turned out. Tumbler by CT Briggs, on Flickr I sacrificed a little bit of detail in the angles of the sides for the sake of durability, but I think it looks good while being very stable. Tumbler Front by CT Briggs, on Flickr Tumbler Rear by CT Briggs, on Flickr I was inspired by these tires. Even though the tread isn't super accurate they were the perfect width and diameter for this scale. They're narrow enough that I can put them four across and it doesn't look too disproportionate.
