Centaur w/ Tailgunner (1) by socalbricks, on Flickr Centaur w/ Tailgunner (2) by socalbricks, on Flickr Some time after the city of O'Rai was destroyed, it civilians, now nomadic, encountered a clan of centaurs. Both groups had come into conflict with the various gangs of robbers and mercenaries that patrolled the plains and woodland of southwest Avalonia. A heavily armed, coordinated and agile cavalry was needed. The two groups chose to band together, and came up with the idea of combining a centaur and rider, with both of them often training together at a young age. This strategy would prove quite effective, with horde after horde of robbers falling to hoof, blade, and arrow. Riders now had a "cavalry" they could coordinate attacks with, and centaurs had their flanks (their one weak point) protected. --------------------------- A few months ago, back when I was researching weapons I wanted my centaur character (Ayra) to carry, I stumbled upon video by a YouTuber named Shadiversity, who mentioned that one of a centaur's best weapons would be a friendly human/elf/drawrf/etc. riding on its back. This gave me some ideas, and I got to building. For simplicity's sake, I chose to use Ayra as a template. On top of the addition of a "tailgunner", I also added clothing/barding to the character's lower/"horse half". This mitigated the open studs that existed on the original version, and in my opinion makes things look much cleaner overall. The Showcase video is online on YouTube and the Building Instructions are available on Rebrickable ! The Building Instruction is a PDF file : https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-25824/BricksFeeder/ghost-riders-motorbike/#comments More shots below : I hope you enjoy the build! Let me know what you think about ! If you have some remark or problem with the instructions, let me know and I will correct. As the Black Spire gathers power, a new hope for Historica is discovered--the High King's heir! Riders were dispatched quickly and quietly from the Beggar's Inn to the four Guilds and then to all corners of free Historica to spread the word. Thorir carries this news through the snow-covered forests in the foothills of Mt. Mitgard towards the Bay of Storms. Woohoo! I built! This was a bit of a panic MOC thrown together this week. I had a wyvern going for this, but the darned thing was getting way to big to fit on 256 studs, so that'll get put in a freebuild or something at some point... Also, new camera! C&C always appreciated!

Built for category A of Challenge V, for the Alliance side. The path design was inspired by Thorsten Bonsch’s Orsinium. It was fun experimenting with the path here, albeit time consuming. A messenger gallops through the lands of Kaliphlin, spreading the word of the return of the true king of Historica! Perhaps 'gallops' is a poor choice of words though, as the camel seems content with a slow walk, much to the messenger's distress. More pictures on Brickbuilt Thanks for looking, C&C welcome

S.P.E.E.D.E.R. (Straddling Pilot Echoing Equine Disposition Ergo Rider) Here's a sample recipe to make a more realistically proportioned human rider figure that can straddle a sci-fi/fantasy speeder bike or motorcycle: S.P.E.E.D.E.R. (Straddling Pilot Echoing Equine Disposition Ergo Rider) by SPARKART!, on Flickr. Some of the connections are tenuous single-stud assemblies, so this isn't really aimed toward playability, but more for giving a sense of scale to a model. LEGO Bat-pod by SPARKART!, on Flickr. Well I've finally started some AoM builds, and this is my Phase I Stables build. I received the white leaves as a Christmas gift and have been wanting to use them for a while. There are giant wolves in Mitgardia, and some have been captured and tamed to become formidable mounts: Any C&C welcome
