  1. Dear Eurobricks fans, I wanted to share with you one of the favourite speed Champs MOC I've created: The mighty Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 Evolution 2 Rally car This little beast is regarded by many rally fans as the most successful racing car ever It dominated the WRC championship in the mighty (and rather scary) Group B, winning both pilot and constructor's titles in 1985 & 1986 I thought it was time to pay a Lego tribute to both this astonishing Peugeot racing car and the legendary Group B WRC era My Lego project features a very realistic and detailed racing car in full action in its natural rally 'habitat' The vehicle comes with a lot of interesting details: An accurate shape and proportions (not easy to at this scale) Multiple stickers reproducing faithfully the Peugeot Talbot Sport racing colours, main sponsors, headlights, rear lights and Tailgate... A polished and detailed interior including a beautiful reinforcement frame behind the driver’s seat I hope you will like it and don't hesitate to share your feedback here! Finally, this set is currently gathering support on the official Lego Ideas website. If you wish to, you can also vote for it on the following link: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/171007 Thanks! 3. Do you know Ken Block ? Here is his car... But in Lego ! The first objective was to build a RC model. I had the idea to inculde a caster angle. In testing the first prototype, I have seen it slipped in end of curve. So I had the idea to improve this prototype. Finally, I did the Ken Block's Ford Fiesta (from 2011, the most beautiful for me). I made custom stickers for a better look. It can really do drifts. The steering is done by a servomotor. The driving is done by 2 L motors with a 3:1 ratio. (24t/24t/8t) The working is similar to that of a karting. There is an important caster angle. When the car is turning, thr rear interior wheel is upped. Thus there is less grip at the rear axle, and the car drifts. The chassis is very rigid to have a good performance. The body is easily removable. The video : I have made building instructions (pictures) : https://www.dropbox.... Block.pdf?dl=0
  4. Hi there guys! I'm glad to introduce you my ford fiesta wrc wich has the following features: - New shock absorbers design - Macpherson suspensions strut - Lockable differential - Personalized vinyls - 2 RC motors - Motors saving differential My goal for this car was only one: DRIFT then i started thinking: "what car is known for drifts?" and the answer was only one THE KEN BLOCK'S CAR !!! So i started building this one trying to replicate those colors...then i wasn't so satisfied so i decided to print my own stickers.... I created a template (wich im gonna share soon) to paint vinyls on new panels and i'd say that im pretty happy now :) Let's talk about performances now: even if it weighs 860g it's still fast....doesn't have an amazing acceleration anymore but it still drifts on smooth surfaces expecially when the wheels lose some grip by collecting dust and it's pretty funny to drive! About the chassis: it's very simple and the weight is well distributed, to cause the most loss of grip to the rear wheels, by placing a battery in the front of the car... As every motor has its own battery and reciver i added a differential inbetween the two motors...you know, sometimes recivers can lose signal and i didn't want to get my motors damaged There's another differential that connects the wheels wich can be locked to cause narrower drifts... The new shock absorbers design (for those who didn't see one of my last posts where i was talking about that) is really simple....and even if i didn't use the spring taken from the lego one the dimensions are the same, so 100% purists can use it as well I hope you like it! stickers aviable here http://p-lego.blogsp...roduce-you.html they're in the A4 format so you just need to print the file above as it is (obviusly download the full res one by clicking to enlarge the picture ^^)
  5. Hi! Sooner or later, but I took the time to introduce you new MOC - a rally car. I will not write a lot, because want relax... Summer... I like rear suspension. It really work good. Idea is the same as on my small front suspension. Off course rear works better, and besides, I have improved it for the next model, so i'm doing instruction soon. Functions: - rear drive - all independent suspension - opening doors/hood - work front light - steering witn auto return Video: I'm doing second video, with drift and just driving. Photos: (Thanks rm8 for stickers ) All photos on Google+ Thanks for watching
