  1. A year ago we lost legendary LEGO Designer Jørn Thomsen who was behind many of our favourite LEGO SPACE sets. As his colleague, I paid tribute to some of his marvelous designs.
  2. What would happened if Blacktron 1 theme stretched all the 90s decade? The world might never know... It has a 3 section spaceship, a rover, a robot guardian, a flyer, an elevator on the back, working diagonal garage doors, 4 diferent space era baseplates and many more stuff! 1320 pieces. Only the spaceship windscreen and the hinged side panels of the spaceship were never made in those colors, but it looks so great I leave it like that. Where's the mop?
  3. Blacktron I rises again! "You are now entering the Blacktron sector! This is the absolute limit of the Classic Space quadrant! You have been warned!" ...sorry about that. Had to get the legal stuff out of the way first! Anyway: Blacktron long-range fighter "Buzzard" Above is the two copies of the Blacktron XL-15, which are now dubbed the "Buzzard" type starfighter. So back in January of 2023, I decided to convert the XL-15 spaceship from the film "Lightyear" into original Blacktron colors. The blue became yellow, and white was turned to black, with all the trans-green removed. I added laser blasters under the wings where some technic pins are and put a different control tile in the cockpit. I was thinking about building a second ship, but then again, getting some of the parts from Bricklink was a total pain due to extremely low quantities in the needed color. (I'm talking about you, 3 x 3 wedge plate in yellow!) Thankfully, I bought one too many of both kinds of the yellow 12 x 3 wedge plates, as they are very rare as well with only one store selling four of each kind in the USA, which made making the second one easier later on. Blacktron command vessel "Executor" In addition to the two Buzzards, I wanted a Blacktron capitol ship. I had no ideas of my own ship, so I spent most of the afternoon of 10/5/23 taking Benny's beloved spaceship from The Lego Movie and corrupting it into a twisted, evil version. I revamped the nose, removed the expanding wing assembly and snub fighters. Of course I then recolored it almost exclusively in black and yellow. (some gray was unavoidable!) I armed it with a turret on the top rear where the sensor array once was, and put the commanders office below where the wing mechanism used to be. To keep with the one-word naming scheme of the original Blacktron, I borrowed the name of Darth Vader's Super Star Destroyer, decreeing this ship the Blacktron Executor. I struggled to think of an engine flame color that fit OG Blacktron, but eventually trans-light blue was selected. Since the wings don't extend anymore, I added a third section for figures with a turret on top in their place. The rear-most section lifts away, but the rest of the roof sections are supposed to fold open. The ship seats seven troops and 1 commander. Blacktron giant robot "Destructor" For this model, I used parts and ideas from the Eternals line's "In Arishem's Shadow" set 76155 (body / head / upper legs / upper arms) along with claw from the old Agents 2.0' "Robot Attack" set 8970. The lower legs and laser arm are (modified) holdovers from the "Build Better Bricks" Iron Giant instructions. (I need to fix the laser arm's elbow joint but I keep forgetting!) Blacktron "Shadow Runner" space car Recently, while I was on my Blacktron kick, I decided I needed a vehicle for the commander. So, after a few false starts with other models, I dusted off this old TRON Legacy Light Runner model and went to town modifying it. The model originally was made five years ago (was 2018 really that long ago?!?), and is based off the two-seater TRON set 21314 MOD that was made by BrickBrosUK and posted on Brickset here. The name Shadow Runner is a play on the Light-based vehicles from TRON. Blacktron minifigs These pilot minifigs are from the GWP with back printing (gotten from Pick A Brick) while the commander is mostly from the Series 19 Galactic Bounty Hunter CMF. NOTES: To be honest, I've had these built since at least last November, but finally got around to taking all these pictures just yesterday. Thoughts? EDITED 3/12/24: real world photos added and text changed around.
  4. Well, I sort of forgot to post this here, so here you go, all rovers I made for FebRovery 2024: FebRovery 2024 by Ids de Jong, on Flickr For the Story, lets start at the beginning: Aboard the Spearhead: Jim: Has anyone seen Keko? I can't seem to find him. Bart Seeker: That Robot, no haven't seen him. Duncan: No haven't seen Keko either. MAGS: Keko is no longer on board, last signal was found on the planet below, 24h ago. Jim: I'm going to look for Keko. Duncan: You can use the new rover, it's parked in the back, the blue one. Bart: I don't trust it one bit, Viva go with Jim. Viva: Okay captain. Jim Spaceborn: The Search for Keko by Ids de Jong, on Flickr Day 1: The search for Keko has started. Viva: Where are we going to look for Keko? Jim: Let's just start driving to the last known coordinates. Viva: So, this is the new rover Duncan prepared? Jim: Yeah, looks like it, it was the blue one, I heard it was based on an older single seater design. Day 2: The search for Keko continues. Jim and Viva arrive at the last known location, but the only thing they find is a single spaceman on an antique rover searching for energy crystals. Whatever Keko was doing here, would it have something to do with those crystals? Day 3: Yesterday, Jim and Viva didn't get a great clue, maybe something related to an energy crystals. While planning their next move, they come across Max Greebles in his clean looking rover. Apparently the bounty hunter wouldn't mind looking for Keko. Max: I'll find him dead or in pieces! For only 20.000 credits. Jim: I rather would like to find Keko in one piece and alive if possible. Max: No can do, mate, not if you add another 10.000 credits. Viva: Let's go Jim, I don't think we can come to an agreement here. Day 4: The search continues, Jim and Viva are just taking a brake when a striking coloured rover passes by. Jim: Look at that. Viva: Looks like they also made a smaller rover for Xanad II, after the prototype testing was done for the bigger one. Jim: Oh, I didn't know that, anyway I think we need some kind of plan where to look for Keko. Viva: I agree, maybe we need someone who can tell us something about those energy crystals. Day 5: While searching for energy crystal experts, Jim and Viva see a suspicious looking rover. When they look, one of the astronauts in white steps forward and asks them to go away, apparently they are busy with some kind of experiment. Jim: These Whitetron guys are not the most friendly it seems. Viva: Yeah, let's go Jim. Day 6: Jim and Viva finally found some crystal experts, but after arriving on the planet, they didn't realize they also had to go to the bottom of the sea floor. Jim: Would Keko have been here though? Viva: I don't think so, I'm not sure many robots would be found this deep under water and still work like normal. Day 7: After that under water adventure, Jim and Viva were glad to be back on solid ground. Today, they asked around and found an experimental rover, the large crystal detector rover with foldable radio dish. With a special resonance frequency, large crystal deposits can be detected. Could it be used to detect Keko? Jim: So you can detect large deposits of crystal with this rover? Viva: Looks like it. Jim: Maybe we can use it somehow to plan our next move. Day 8: Continuing to the next destination, Jim and Viva have been ordered to stop when trying to cross a landing pad. Apparently it is being cleaned with special equipment after a chase, they also see Max Greebles in his rover quickly disappearing in the distance. Day 9: When arriving at a location with a strong crystal deposit reading, Jim and Viva meet a strange green alien in an equally strange rover. Jim: Did you see a grey robot? Strange Alien: Ksss, taaas, kraaa. Viva: Eh, I'm not sure I got that... Alien: Ksss, taaas, kraaa. Jim: Yeah, we don't understand that. Another alien behind them: Hello. When Jim and Viva turn around a friendly looking fella greeted them. Friendly Alien: We saw some people in black carrying a grey robot at another crystal deposit some days ago. Jim: Thank you for the info, we need to look for some people in black then? Viva: Yeah, let's do that. Day 10: Having heard they should look out for people in black, today Jim and Viva come across a weird looking rover. Jim: Look at that rover, what is that? Viva: It appears to be some kind of dragon rover, maybe it's used for a special event? Day 11: Another day without a trace of Keko, although Jim and Viva see something unusual today. Jim: I'm not sure what going on here. Viva: Looks like a baby rover show-off... Day 12: Looking for Keko continues, Jim and Viva meet one of their crew mates on top of some kind of rover. Jim: Did he really add wheels to a starfire 1? Viva: I do recognize some parts of it, it's a really strange rover now... Jim: But on a more serious note, we really should continue our search. Viva: Yeah let's go. Day 13: Today, we find Jim and Viva in discussion with some alien. Jim: Hello, we are and Viva and Jim, did you see some suspicious people in black? We are looking for a grey robot and the only clue we have is energy crystals and people in black. Alien: Greetings, I'm Omicron Draconis, we haven't seen any suspicious behavior around here. Viva: What exactly are you doing here with this weird looking rover. Omicron Draconis: We are filtering the sand on this planet, the sand is sucked in from the ground, and then we filter the sand. Jim: Why would you do that? Omicron Draconis: We are looking for a rare and special purple sand. We use that to make special parts for ships and rovers. Viva: Interesting story, thank you for the explanation. Then we need to look further. Jim: Yeah let's go. Day 14: Jim: Hmm, that's a strange looking Futuron radar rover. Viva: It looks more like a Pinktron rover. Jim: Yeah, those wheels look a bit like candy... Viva: Would it have something to do with that valentine's day custom I heard about? Day 15: Day 15 of the search for Keko, Jim and Viva haven't found the missing link yet. Jim: Still no trace of those black guys. Viva: Let's ask the driver of that springy looking rover. Jim: I don't think he sees us. The rover quickly passes by and the only remaining creatures left are small slimy aliens. Viva: I guess we can't ask them about anything, let's continue our search. Day 16: A new day, a new chance to find Keko. Jim: so we are almost back at our starting point, without any real trace of Keko. We need a new plan. Viva: I agree. Driver of the passing liquid transport rover: I heard they also have some crystal expert here. She sends over some new coordinates. Jim: Let's go there tomorrow. Viva: Yeah, good idea. Day 17: Arriving at the received coordinates from yesterday, Jim and Viva make their way to the nearest crystal deposit. There, they find a small rover passing by. Jim: It looks like they also have energy crystals here. Viva: Yeah, no sign of those guys in black though, I'm wondering what we are even looking for... Jim: Let's take a sample, and find a next place to continue our investigation. Viva: Okay, let's do that, too much snow and ice around here. Day 18: Jim and Viva are back from the frozen world, when suddenly the Cyber Baron arrives in his new rover. Jim: He looks kind of suspicious, but only his helmet is black. Viva: Yeah, I don't think we found our clue yet. Jim: Let's just ask. Viva: Okay. Jim: Hello, did you see any guys in black with energy crystals and/or a grey robot? Cyber Baron: I'm not answering that, goodbye. With that he drives off into the distance. Jim: ... Day 19: Jim and Viva are still looking for Keko, not sure if they get any closer, they do know they are looking at a new rover today. Jim: What kind of rover is that? Viva: Looks like a prototype R-Tron rover. Jim: Oh, interesting, I have not seen those before. Viva: Yeah, those are rare, they don't make many of those. Day 20: Jim and Viva continue their search. Today they met a driver of a red rover. Jim: Hello, we are Jim an Viva, I see you have your own robot companion, but did you see any grey robot, we are looking for Keko? Jim shows a picture of Keko. Red rover driver: No I haven't seen that robot before, I'm afraid I can't help you with more information. Day 21: Jim and Viva see another strange looking rover today. Jim: That looks like a jet turbine engine on wheels... Viva: The driver looks a bit nervous. Jim: Would this be like those jet engines from the Galaxy Explorer, I remember someone tried to fly on that thing. Viva: Yeah, only with wheels this time... Day 22: Finally, a black looking figure appeared in a rover today. Jim: I do see a robot, it isn't Keko though. Viva: No, you're right, it's not even grey and I don't see any energy crystals. Jim: If Blacktron would have taken Keko, then we would need to call the Space Police. Viva: Yeah, but we need more information first. Day 23: Still looking for energy crystals, today we meet Jim and Viva underground. Sparks: So, you guys are looking for energy crystals. Jim: Well more exactly, we are looking for Keko, our robot friend, and apparently his disappearance has something to do with energy crystals. Docs: So, any other clues? Maybe Sparks can help you guys build a portable detector. Viva: That could really help us, we are a bit lost. Day 24: Jim and Viva were going to their next destination, when they suddenly saw a medic rover overtaking them. They followed it for a while, when they saw a familiar rover laying on it's side. Jim: It wasn't that safe after all. Viva: Luckily for the driver, at least it looks like the medic bot was already near. Jim: Yeah, still you have to be crazy driving a jet turbine engine on wheels... Viva: I agree. Day 25: After getting some info from Sparks, Jim and Viva turn up at a new crystal excavation site. The head of the mining operation tells them that many different energy crystal sites have seen suspicious activity this month. Jim: So, probably, those are the same guys who may have something to do with the disappearance of Keko. Viva: Yeah, that would be possible. Day 26: Today, Jim and Viva get some explanations were the energy crystals are used for. They get to see how the vehicles are powered by the energy cells and made/recharged from the energy crystals. Jim: So what suspicious activity was observed here? Space miner: We didn't observe it ourself, but some cameras registered some unusual activity. Also I heard some robots went missing. Viva: Hmm, that is indeed interesting, we're also looking for a robot. Day 27: Having heard more info about the suspicious activity at the crystal excavation sites, and the missing robots, Jim and Viva continue their search for Keko. Jim: Let ask the driver about Keko, as we still need some more info. Viva: I'll ask. Hello, We are looking for a grey Robot, have you seen or heard anything about missing robots. Driver of the red rover: Well, not personally, as I don't have any robots myself, but I heard an investigation by a special task force was happening right now. Maybe they know something, let me give you the coordinates. Viva: Thanks for the info, we'll be sure to check that out. Day 28: Jim and Viva arrive at the coordinates they received yesterday. Jim: This looks like the special task force we heard about yesterday. Viva: This task force also looks a bit suspicious, being dressed in all black. Jim: Yeah, although the Space Police use the same colours, a bit different though. Viva: Let's ask about Keko. Jim: Hi, we are looking for a missing robot. Man in black: We received various reports about missing robots, we also have tracked some of them to various locations, but it looks like they are on the move. Day 29: Hello, I'm Ned from the Trans Galactic Info Channel (TGIC) sponsored by Blue Bird Inc. and Meta 3 Corp. As you may or may not know, some robots have gone missing the past month. But today, all is over, the culprit has been caught by my great investigation that I single handedly performed. Jim: What are you talking about, you didn't do anything, the special task force caught the botnapper. Viva: Yeah, we haven't even seen you the whole month. Ned: please don't interrupt my story, we're live you know. Anyway, we can see how the mastermind of the disappearance of Keko and other bots has been caught. The illegal's robot trader who calls himself 'Tobor the Trader' will be escorted to the nearest prison planet, as he was caught stealing various robots. Which he tried to sell for energy crystals. This concludes our bot napping report, thanks for tuning in, and don’t forget to subscribe, also follow me for more stories @NedIsTheBest.meta3.moon2be to stay up to date with the latest news about me. Jim: I'm just glad Keko was ok. Viva: Yeah. Keko: Hi Jim, look at all my new robot friends. Jim: I see you are doing just fine... Major Kartofski: Can somebody please let me down, I don't like being upside down! Anybody...

  6. (This may have been done before but I’m not familiar with any previous endeavor so I will make and post this nonetheless) LEGO SPACE, beginning in the 1980s, has had many factions, some being Blacktron, Spyrius, UFO, Space Police and more. Since beginning in 2010, the LEGO theme “Collectible Minifigures” has had many figures belonging to different space factions. However, not all of them belong to a pre-established faction, so this post will be made to not only detail the different space factions that have appeared in the various CMFs but primarily to assess those that are NOT preexisting factions, many of which have still not been given names as far as I’m aware. Since many figures are a part of factions one can posit that all space figures derive from and are representative of a particular faction (they don’t have to be but I will consider them as such for this post.) First, there are the: PRE-EXISTING, ALREADY ESTABLISHED, LEGO SPACE FACTIONS: Standard LEGO Space Agency (identified by the classic space logo): S1 Spaceman, S6 Intergalactic Girl, S7 Galaxy Patrol (dubbed “Space Marine” by some), S12 Space Miner, S15 Astronaut, S21 Space Police Guy, S22 Alien Creature, S22 Robot Repair Tech*, and S24 Brown Astronaut *The Robot Repair Tech’s look is complete enough and technologically advanced enough that it could not be made by someone or something without the necessary resources (they have a mining operation in space per the S12 space miner (perhaps a space-offshoot of Rock Raiders and Power Miner?)); it has a general, almost “focus-tested” look, like a modern civic/mainstream look (even arguably trying to look “cutesy”), like those of town/city buses, advertisements, maybe even streaming services, etc.; it is not Blacktron, Spyrius, or any other faction as its colors most align with the variety present in the standard space agency’s output; many have theorized that the standard space agency has a very wide reach (S22 Alien Creature shows that non-earth beings are enlisting/joining) and may even be rather fascistic and/or totalitarian (semi-jokingly but Space Police 3, Alien Conquest, S7 Galactic Trooper, and Galaxy Squad do put forth much compelling evidence: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=LQ3lfUxkm90 (some of these elements are now diminished a bit due to the existence of the S22 Alien Creature)); taking all this into account, the faction with the most reach, necessary resources, and that would have presence in the civic sphere, would be the standard space agency. Blacktron: S3 Space Villain, S11 Evil Mech, S19 Galactic Bounty Hunter Galaxy Squad (presumably an offshoot of the standard space agency but I will include it as its own faction since no such figure has the standard space agency logo): S13 Galaxy Trooper; this figure has on its chest armor, in the same places as all human Galaxy Squad minifigures, the same, exact symbols as them, except the symbol on their left has a gap in the middle of it (this symbol is present on the back of the S13 Galaxy Trooper’s armor as well.) I have never seen this mentioned anywhere before which is a bit disappointing. Alien Conquest aliens’ faction: S8 Alien Villainess UNESTABLISHED LEGO SPACE FACTIONS FROM THE CMF SERIES (I’m not familiar with every symbol used by a LEGO space faction so some of these may actually be from preexisting factions): S1 Robot: This could just be a helper robot made by the standard space agency. If it is representative of a species or faction, then the colors of their ships and overall aesthetics would presumably be light gray and silver with very plain/non-intricate designs. S3 Alien: It uses the Sqidman/Squidtron head but doesn’t seem to be of that same species (and according to the lore, Squidman may by the only alien of his kind (which is why he created Squidtron.)) It is most similar to the Alien Conquest aliens’ faction. Assuming it is a part of a faction and like the other factions their outfits and even skin colors match their vehicles and overall aesthetics, the ships for this species would be lime green, purple, gold, light gray and/or dark gray, and maybe silver and a light blue (perhaps just as highlights.) S6 Classic Alien: Assuming its ships are those of what is commonly ascribed to it, they would be modern-looking UFOs, retro UFOs, or anything apparently sighted. S8 Evil Robot: This could be an unaffiliated character, perhaps an experiment gone wrong or something of an outlaw, but assuming it is representative of a particular faction, then the vehicles and overall aesthetics would be black, red, and gunmetal. They almost seem like the LEGO space equivalent of the Borg. S9 Alien Avenger: The “Avenger” in the name relates to this description I found on bricksandminifigsanaheim.com (and the Portland version too) which reads like an official LEGO description so I’m going to post it here: “This alien species is constantly being bullied by others, but enough is enough! The Alien Avenger has bulked up, collected armor, and fashioned his own laser pistol to take out those who would threaten his home world!” It sounds like this species has been hurt by and/or caught in the fights of the standard space agency, Blacktron, Galaxy Squad, etc. This fits in to the overall situation of LEGO space, which is many space factions most of which competing or at odds with each other. This makes this avenger species seem more pacifistic from the start, donning their weapons as a means of defense. I personally am rooting for them. Their ships would presumably be bulky, consisting mostly of dark gray and bronze with silver highlights. Before knowing the figure’s official name and reading its description, to me this figure looked like it could’ve been a part of a species that was the LEGO space equivalent to the Klingons or the Star Wars EU/Legends’ Yuuzhan Vong. S9 Battle Mech: This figure doesn’t have any of the Galaxy Squad symbols but it looks almost exactly like one and it came out in the same year, included in the year’s first CMF. Though it lacks any symbols, it may be a part of Galaxy Squad and simply something similar to the S12 Dino Tracker, S19 Jungle Explorer, or even S9 Mr. Good And Evil, where the figures either belong to a theme or are remakes of older figures; S12 DT is a part of the Dino theme, S19 JE is Johnny Thunder, and arguably S9 MG&E is Monster Fighters, which is arguably further supported by a cover image used for the LEGO Worlds Monsters pack (even the S2 Witch and a differently-colored variant of the S1 Zombie were arguably, retroactively made into Monster Fighters minifigures with the set 850487 Halloween Accessory Set/Pack, whose box-art is very similar to if not exactly that of the Monster Fighters sets.) S6 Clockwork Robot and S11 Lady Robot: These are likelier to be none-space figures but they still could be considered or classified as such. The aesthetics of their vehicles would be blockier, feature gears, dials, cogs and lights, and colors such as light blue, red, gray, silver, pink, purple, and yellow. S15 Laser Mech and S16 Cyborg: These are seemingly both of the same faction/kind. These figures stand out from the others in that they are the only non-established faction to have two, different figures (not counting the possible S6 and S11 clockwork robots, but they are just differently gendered versions anyways) and to have a figure referenced in a rather substantive way; the Cyborg is on the S19 Game Champ’s “Space Game” (for the Game Box) cover. The aesthetics for this faction, assuming they are not a part of a preexisting one (addressed soon), would be primarily light blue and black with lime green highlights and maybe some silver. If these figures are a part of an already existing faction, then they would seemingly be a part of the 90s Insectoid faction in a way similar to the aforementioned S9 Mr. Good And Evil, S12 Dino Tracker, and S19 Jungle Explorer, where they are made intended as certain figures and/or belonging to certain themes but are not explicitly mentioned as being such; the aesthetics of the Cyborg could be considered an updated version of the Insectoid faction’s aesthetics (Roboforce is second likeliest but Cyborg’s aesthetics feel more Insectoids-like.) S17 Retro Space Hero: This figure is either an unaffiliated hero or a part of an older/retro version of the standard space agency. Its aesthetics, which would carry over to its vehicles, are those of old, science fiction pulps (pulp magazines/comics) and serials. S21 Alien: This alien appears to be in a prison jumpsuit (it may not be but since it was in the same series as the Space Police Guy and was seemingly intended as a companion minifigure, I assume it’s a prison jumpsuit.) If it is a part of a group or faction, then per Space Police lore, especially that of the most recent incarnation of the theme, this alien is a member of Brick Daddy’s Blackhole Gang. S24 Robot Warrior: This figure may be Earth-based, seemingly being from an anime-type vein or a Japanese media vein like the S20 Super Warrior (“Super Sentai” it has been fittingly referred to) (both figures are “[blank] Warrior”.) Its aesthetics are those of common, action-oriented anime stories, similar to how the aesthetics of the S17 Retro Space Hero are old science fiction pulps and serials; I don’t think I have to explain what colors or styles it would consist of then. FIGURES THAT DO NOT COUNT BUT WILL BE MENTIONED SINCE THEY ARE RELATED TO WHATEVER DEGREE: S17 Rocket Boy S23 Cardboard Robot SPACE REFERENCES PRESENT WITH OR ON OTHER FIGURES: (Already mentioned) S19 Game Champ’s “Space Game” (for the Game Box) cover S20 Space Fan’s shirt has a classic space spaceship (there is also a saturn planet sticker on the pants which may or may not be a reference to the standard space agency’s logo) S21 Violin Kid’s shirt is white with a small, black collar (or that’s just the neck opening and a shadow), covered with Blacktron logos FIN If there is anything I didn’t mention let me know

[MOC] The strangest boat you ever did see

I present to you, my Blacktron Bionicle Boat. I combined my three favorite Lego things into one. It's a boat. built out of Bionicle. In the Blacktron 2 colour scheme. 18. Hi all! I've finally finished a MOC that I've work on, on and off, for years. It's a redux of the Blacktron Renegade. Here's the original: I wanted to keep the overall design pretty much the same. How did I do? I named it Betrayer because a Renegade is essentially a traitor or deserter. I thought Betrayer sounded supremely evil while being synonymous with the original name. One thing that excited me a lot was using the new yellow triangle tiles to make a brick-built Blacktron logo. And I wanted to keep the original gimmick where the command ship could detach from the front, as well as the two side ships. The command ship has hidden guns! One thing that always bugged me about the original was that after you removed the command ship, you were left with the butt-end of a space ship without anything to control it. I guess you had to pretend it was computer or AI controlled at that point. Like a robot. That gave me an idea. Why not make it transform into an actual robot? I hope you like it!

    [CSE] Blacktron Destructor

I present to you The Destructor this fearsome star cruiser belongs to the evil Blacktron it comes with four seperate areas the command bridge, holding cell, storage area and a cockpit that doubles as a escape craft. It has the triangular shape of the blacktron 1 logo and has the iconic black and yellow color scheme. The main ship has four front gun two tracking turrets that can rotate in every direction. The escape craft is also in the shape of the blacktron logo, it has two front guns, a tail gun and retractable transparent red wings. The sides and front panels can open to reveal interior and the escape craft can detach. I also made several space crates and a small buggy. The minifigures included are two pilots, two fleet officers, a heavy soldier and two droids.

    Blacktron Droid Factory Lego Ideas

Back in the 90s I used to think the Message Intercept Base was a Futuron Base diguised as a Blacktron one. Many times I thought how it would look a true Blacktron1 Base. So I designed this project and make something more "mean" more "rebelious" a base with modules which could be used both as rooms in the base and also as parts of vehicles or ships. I wanted to take the interlocking modular concept used by Lego on the Blacktron 1 sets to a new level and giving a fresh look to the retro space subtheme. Also give them droids which actual look like automata units for different purposes like spy units or guards. Enjoy it and if you like it, give it support. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/0f9caab4-1d4a-4207-ae82-60b6cc8b61d9
