  6. Treacherous Tides Video Series

Recently I and some friends decided to create a Lego Pirates Video Comic Series. The production's title is: "Treacherous Tides" and is in the works, aiming for release of chapter one in early May 2015. It's "just for fun" but we plan on a very immerse story line. It's not stop motion, rather, still frame images with ken burns and sound effects in addition to some cool music. We won't be doing any voice acting, instead we will be using speech bubbles. Here is a preview: (Don't watch the Batman one, it's old and not very entertaining, as it has no sound or motion.) Send me some kool names, and we might eventually use them in the series!
  7. I had a lot of fun making these figs, and I'm looking forward to seeing more entries for this great contest. 8. Hi fellow fans! I have collected the CMF's, and I quit after four complete series. I luckily got some extra Zombies, Spartans, Elves and Hazmat's. Now my question to you is, what would these complete series be worth? Not just the BL price, but the price people would actually pay. And would it be wiser to sell them as a lot, or loose? I'm worried that I won't get rid of them all if I sell them loose And finaly, would any of you be interested in those figures? Thanks and have a good day!

He's just an everyday person.... but with a love an obsession for LEGO. While not 100% brick flick (sorry if this is in the wrong forum), this comedy series of shorts will feature this strange mysterious character playing around with his Laygoes, making various life sized builds. His name is Rick The Brick. I'll be sending you guys episodes from the series as the series develops. Here's episode 1: No Coaster No Problem.
  13. Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

Hi all, I figured that instead of hijacking everyone's threads with similar questions about modulars, to just create one thread where people can ask questions and the like. This way we are not junking up specific topics with questions about multiple modulars. I look forward to the discussion with everyone! ------------------------- First question for someone. In the Green Grocer instructions, I am having a hard time telling what color a few pieces are. I may just be colorblind, but I wanted to ask someone who has the set/would know. In step 6 of the Green Grocer, the part call out lists: 2 - 1 x 1 plates; 1 - 1 x 1 tile What color are these? Also, are the tiles also black that surround the white/medium blue tiles on the inside of the shop? Thank you!
  14. MOC: Batman: "Trial"

Trial A recreation of the episode “Trial”, from Batman: The Animated Series. Ah, Trial. This is one of my favorite episodes from Batman the Animated Series. It’s similar to Almost Got 'Im in regards to the villains playing off each other, and I think that’s one of the best parts of the episode(s). I have to say I was a bit nervous building this since I didn’t know if I’d have enough 2x2 Dark tan tiles—turns out I do! With two to spare! Enjoy ~Nemo
  15. MOC: B:TAS, "Judgment Day"

"Judgment Day" Order in the court! In the matter of the people versus Harvey Dent, how does the prisoner plead? Guilty... Guilty... Guilty... A scene from the episode “Judgment Day” from Batman: The Animated Series recreated in Lego. This is the only scene I’m making from this interesting episode, but I really like how it came out nonetheless. I did takes some artistic liberty in terms of colors, choosing white over dark tan (Which I use too much of already anyways), and It’s not too often I make large statues, but I think Lady Justice turned out well; in particular her sword. The Judge, or Two-Face, is one of the more interesting characters to come out of B:TAS, and I’m happy to finally recreate him in Lego format. The Judge; from Batman the Animated Series. Created as a subconscious superego third personality by Two-Face, the “Judge” acted like a vigilante and attacked villains including Two-Face himself, in attempts to purge Gotham from its crime. Enjoy ~Captain Nemo
  16. The Journey: Ambush

Enjoy everyone, this was a pleasure to build. There is a high price for food out here! The worms we have been traveling alongside are easy to catch, nourishing, and so far, free of any negative side effects. And on top of it all, they actually taste good! They are, in fact, the main food source of most of the species that make their home within the Desolation, a lesson we are learning the hard way. Ambushes staged by the most bizarre creatures are constantly waged upon us, as they try to devour both us and our wormherd. Two days ago, we were attacked on both sides of the path by a pair of formidable predators. A hissing blue animal resembling a spiked manta ray exploded out of the slime and attacked Quane, who wielded her staff against it. As I rushed to help her, another creature blocked my path; a huge, spindly beast with a beak and a crest atop its narrow head that rose out of the marshy ground, snapping at me with jagged claws. I swung my weapon blindly and heard a sickening crunch as my staff sheared off one of its pincers. The monster shrieked and retreated beneath the smooth treacherous surface from whence it had come. I turned to Quane who had bludgeoned her assailant to death. Later, we tried eating it, but it tasted bitter. Overall, we had only lost one worm, but it was only one battle... The journey continues... This is a bad angle, but it is the best one I could capture. Thanks for having a look.
  17. MOC(s): "Almost Got 'Im"

You should know two things about me; first, clearly I like building my own creations as this is one of many I’ve started posting to the Eurobricks community (And many more to come!), and two, more importantly I love Batman: The Animated Series. I think Batman: The Animated Series is arguably the best representation of Batman outside of comics, and I love many of the designs, characters, and episodes of the series. Because of this, I’ve started re-creating episodes of the show in Lego, with the first being my favorite episode, “Almost Got ‘Im” I’ve been posting these on my Flickr over the past few days, but at Eurobricks, you all get them in one big chunk! So enjoy! Click the pictures to see the full Flickr page with extended photo descriptions. More pictures of set pieces can also be found on my photostream. "How We Almost Got 'Im" Joker, Penguin, Two-Face, Killer Croc, and Poison Ivy meet at the Stacked Deck to play cards and talk of the time they came closest to taking out Batman. --- "How Ivy Almost Got 'Im" Poison Ivy tells how she almost killed Batman with exploding pumpkins, only to be foiled by a remote controlled Batmobile. --- "How Two-Face Almost Got 'Im" Two-Face recalls how he almost squashed the Batman with a Giant Penny, but was foiled by his own coin! --- "How Killer Croc Almost Got 'Im" Killer Croc yells out how he almost killed Batman by throwing a rock at him. It was a big rock... --- "How Penguin Almost Got 'Im" The Penguin describes how he almost killed Batman with a large Cassowary, but the bird failed to kill the Bat --- "How Joker Almost Got 'Im" Joker happily tells how just last night he almost killed Batman with a Laugh Electrocution Machine, only for the Dark Knight to be saved by Catwoman. The former who is captured by Harley Quinn and is currently going to be chopped up into Cat-food and sent to Batman--Remember, there's more than one way to get someone! Hahahaha! --- "How Batman Got 'Em" Plot Twist! Batman and the GCPD were holding a sting, and Batman was dressed as Killer Croc just waiting to find out the location of Catwoman from Joker's story. --- "How Harley Almost Got 'Er" If it were not for Batman, Harley Quinn might have chopped Catwoman into Cat-Food! --- "How Catwoman Almost Got 'Im" Thanks for coming after me… I owed you… Well I’d like to think our relationship isn’t just restricted to saving each other from freaks and weirdoes; and that maybe we’d have a place for each other without Gotham, without the freaks, maybe…without masks… …Maybe… (Sirens, Catwoman looks away as Batman glides off) …hummm…almost got ‘Im… Enjoy ~Nemo
  18. MOC Gungan Scout

The beggining of a series of Star Wars MOCs that I plan on doing based on scenes from all six movies. Which scene should I build next?
  19. I thought I should start a little story to spice of the Pirate forum, so here you go! C&C are appreciated. Chapter 1: The Change of Command The year was 1750 and there had been talks of a rebellion stirring up at the British colony of Port Imperial. Commodore Brickington was sent with a regiment of soldiers to the colony to stop this. When he arrived he went straight to the Governor's fortress. There, he ordered the change of command of the colony from the Governor to the military. Commodore Brickington: "I have been sent here to take command of the Royal Colony of Port Imperial. I hereby take take control." Governor Berkeley: "For what reason?" Commodore Brickington: "Talks of Rebellion. But it doesn't matter, I have a letter from the His Majesty. Either you agree or I throw you in your own prisons." Governor Berkeley: "Fine." Governor Berkeley: "But let me make some things clear." Commodore Brickington: "Go right ahead." Governor Berkeley: "The problem is pirates. Espiecally one named Joe Gardner, I have been recently suspecting him of planning a pirate revolt of Port Imperial. This colony is filled with them, I deem it wise to eliminate them." With that, one of Commodore Brickington soldiers came in the room. Soldier: "Sir, we have a problem." To Be Continued...

  21. Hi all! After the 1st & 2nd wave of collectable minifigs, TLG has filled gaps (and then some ) in the variety of minifigs. But I like to here what you still think is missing!
