  6. This is a thread for fans of the Hidden Side theme to discuss what they'd like to see in the upcoming waves of sets/the app/the shorts For example, I'd like to see: Minifigures: JB with her goggles down, Parker and Jack with no headgear, a different eye print for Spencer. More ghost minifigs, especially the boss ghosts (Lady E, Mamali, the Bawa and Tragico would be the most possible, as they're the most minifigure-like). For the other boss ghost, definetly bigfigs for Mr Nibs, Dr Drewell and Captain Archibald Sets: Maybe a haunted bank that shoots money with gloombie thieves, more sets taking place in the Hidden Side itself... Feel free to share your hopes/wishlists!
  7. This is a theme inspired by LEGO's decision to create Stranger Things LEGO which is probably their most mature (age-wise) theme ever! This topic is for discussing what other more AFOL/adult oriented themes you wish/hope/want LEGO will make. We can also share any customs/MOCs based on more mature themes that we think would make great sets, like Game of Thrones or the Marvel Netflix shows. Or any TV and movies. This is more specifically geared toward ideas based on shows and movies that are rated TV-14/PG-13/15(UK)/R-Rated and above

What do you hope to see from TLG's current relationship with The Walt Disney Company?* Whether it be ideas for Direct to Consumer sets, new themes and franchises, particular characters for potential future Collectable Minifigure lines, sets for the current Disney Princess theme, or even sets based upon Disney Park attractions, share and discuss your ideas and dreams here! *This discussion only pertains to franchises part of the Disney brand, and not Walt Disney & Co. acquirements such as Marvel, Lucasfilm, Fox, etc.
  9. So in this topic, I thought it would be fun to ask the community at large what they think of the leaked Series 19 photos. I know I'll be getting around 11 or so of the 16 - and I want to know what ya'll want and what you think they left out! Also, Robert8, they've made some of your "hopefuls"! Including Shower Guy, Ghost Knight, Pizza Suit Guy and Rugby Player! Are you excited? Do you think they borrowed your ideas? I loved your posts and copied photos of all your series ideas for my user phot and PC backgrounds! (Do you mind? 'Cause if you do, I'll trade them out...) Sooooo.....this series looks like it's going to be packaged in the newer type "tall" bags that they started with The LEGO Movie 2. Shucks, I wish they'd stuck with the original versions....but maybe that means we'll get some extra pieces! I would like that. It also means that the minifigs will be a little easier to feel out, becase the bag is thinner. But it also means that we'll have to be more careful to not puncture the bags when trying really hard to figure out a piece. (That has happened to me before....and people get really mad.) So here are MY personal ratings for these minifigures: Place #1: This would have to be the Showering Guy (#2). Frankly, we needed something candid like this. Unfortunately (for me, at least) most other series minifigures, don't feature people doing stuff at home. (There are only 2 exceptions: Babysitter (Series 16) and Sleepyhead (Series 6), who both were minifigures that would be more around-the-house characters.) Anyways, that new rubber ducky piece is SWEET! I love the bath towel piece, too. I wonder if LEGO made him be wearing underwear beneath? I would certainly hope so... *shudder* It would go hand-in-hand with their "kid-friendly" attitude to make this guy with underwear. So let's cross our fingers....? I bet LEGO's official "Minifig Profile" will have something about him liking to sing in the shower. I believe that he has a reversible head, too - if you compare the leaked photo of the packet and the poster, the heads are different. Place #2: Gotta be Pizza Suit Guy (#10). I mean, the minute my 8 siblings and I saw The LEGO Movie 2 series at Walmart (our version of ASDA, guys) and saw Watermelon Suit Guy, I said "I bet there's a pizza suit guy in the next series!"Well, it's nearly always fun to be right. And the pizza guy will go well with the Series 12 Pizza Delivery Guy! Love the pizza box (or poster - kinda hard to tell...) and the (apparently?) fully printed legs - a first for any suit person. Place #3: Video Game Guy (#1). I can see this minifigure being quite useful for LEGO brickfilms - perhaps I can film a more kid-friendly spoof of "Dude! Where's My Car?" with a modern context. I'm definitely getting several. This was apparently another tie-in with Series 12's Video Game Guy - only modernized? I love the Xbox controller piece and the Star Wars pilot hair recolored! Place #4 is fairly equally tied between the Pooper Scooper (#9), the Biologist -? (#7) and Fox Suit Person (#14). (The photo is low-res, so I can't tell if it's Fox Guy or Fox Girl. Time will tell, I guess!) I like all three for their animal accessories - I was hoping LEGO would make a dachshund and they did! The recolor of the bulldog is sweet, and the chameleon is great! I also needed some chickens for a short brickfilm but they were soooo expensive that I passed. (Maybe I can dig up the dusty script from somewhere...) I liked the reference to Fox Suit Person in The LEGO Movie 2! (Look at Queen Whatevra's wedding scenes very closely.....) I like it when LEGO makes two or three suit people in a series, so this one has a good balance. (Series 18 was just overkill...) Place #5 goes to the Rugby Player. I mean, who DOESN't like this guy? LEGO finally gave us a ball for a sports minifig! That much I'm happy about! I also think this minifig has a reversible head, based on comparisons of the packet front and the poster. And it means I can do a football/rugby brickfilm! Yay! Place #6 would be Retiree (#12). I know that many of ya'll, since you're not from the US, wouldn't get this reference but it's a "typically American" type minifigure. (Which I think is only fair, because while Europe has gotten sooooo many cool minifigures associated with its rich history, us Americans have one minifigure: Abraham Lincoln. Who wasn't even that great.) Anyways, that pink flamingo piece is epic! I've gotta get at least two of her...Maybe next series they'll make a Flamingo Suit Person! OK, now we're in the second half of the series - the ones I don't like that much. However, it usually ends up that I get more than one of the ones I initially don't like, so perhaps I'll get the first 3 here? Anyways, let's go: Place #7 is the Robotics Person (#5). Now, while the little robot build and the recolor of the computer piece are both cool, this minifigure could have just been in a people pack or something for all I care. For starters, the hair doesn't look very realistic, compared to styles I've seen. It's OK, though. Also, the minifig doesn't appear to be wearing a belt, which is sad: I always like minifigs with belts. Can't tell what's on the front of the shirt, but I bet it's three lines of computer code that would spell out the name of a designer or something. (I'll check it out when we get higher-res photos, guys!) Place #8 goes to the Fire Cheifette (#8). And yes, I know that "Chiefette" is not a word. However, I don't particularly like this minifig because we already have a TON of Fire people from the City theme (and more released every year!) so why make another one? I do like the horn, though. The hat/hair combo is good enough to warrant spending $4.25 (with tax) on this one...I guess. We'll see. Place #9 goes to the Mountain Biker Girl (#16). This is another minifigure that puzzles me - why make another mountain biker and not just stick it into a People Pack? And we already had a female mountain biker in the "Fun Outdoors" people pack....why make another one so soon afterwards? At least it'll be easy to feel out. The bike is the real draw here, because of the recolor (and the possibility of getting some motorcycle wheels that aren't damaged...) The hat'hair combo is OK, but not enough to get the minifig for, otherwise. Now we're getting to the really bad ones - the ones that I don't even know why they made them in this series. (there are usually a few of these in every series...sadly.) I rate them all the same - BAD. We have the Female Mummy (#6), Ghost Knight (#3), Monkey King (#4), Evil Drone -? (#11) and Rainbow Panda (#15). The rainbow panda is the one I have the biggest problem with - why have a recolor of the Panda hat? This minifigure doesn't even have any good defining characteristics, either....except that she's gaudy. The Ghost knight is also just a weird minifig - though i must admit that the transparent blue sword almost makes it worthwhile. But really, we have 3 knights already (and not to mention several entire themes about them) so why make another one? And the Evil Mech...really, LEGO? Why another "evil space thing in a suit"? Haven't we seen enough of these already? Come on..... (I bet you can tell that I don't like fantasy themed minifigs that much. And it's true - though a Doctor Who series or a Sci-fi series would both be cool things.) Anyways, what do ya'll think? Be sure to message me what your "Top 5" are and I'll make a list when they come out of which ones are the highest rated! Signin' off, Nathan
  10. Hi there! I thought I'd start this thread because I figured we all have ideas of BrickHeadz we'd like to see made. Especially with the tease of getting BrickHeadz from TV shows! I personally would love to see some BrickHeadz based on the new POTC movie! Maybe some Minecraft BrickHeadz as well. But with the TV shows idea some Flarrowverse BrickHeadz would be incredible! Anyways there you go, fire off your ideas!
  11. It seems that Creator is stepping their game a lot, not only Expert range but "normal" range seems to be every year better and better(Hello year 2017, I look at you ) .When city fails and their only budget is police, fire department or research teams, creator is going to save the day for minifigs(And buyers). What I like to see is police cruiser in 8-10 stud wide range and also in 1:16 scale or bigger to chase down these great creator cars! Also I like to see sedan, combi, muscle type of vehicle in normal creator range. Thanks for read
  12. First of all, I'm not a videogame guy; I've never really played any video game, save for a few classic arcade games a couple of times. But, I am fascinated by many of the novel back stories and plots of numerous videogames, particularly those of a alternate historical basis. The three prominent videogame franchises that I think could make for some incredible movies are the Wolfenstein, BioShock, and Fallout games specifically. These three franchises have had been pondered upon by various film studios for film adaptations, but have currently been put on the back burner or shelved. One other franchise that I'd like to see adapted for film is Crimson Skies; but currently, it may not have much relevance now. So what cinematic videogame franchise adaptations are you anticipating and/or wish for? Discussion of movies focused generally on videogames and/or videogaming (Wreck-It Ralph and Ready Player One, for example) is also allowed by the way.
  13. We did get Duplo circus sets, but I personally would love to see a sub-theme in a normal LEGO system set for either Friends or City with circus-themed sets including but not limited to: - Circus Cannon: a cannon and a "human-cannonball." - Circus Motor Stunts: ramps, two bikes, two drivers, and a generous employee - Circus Elephant Training: an elephant, a food pen, one animal tamer, one clown, and two employees - Circus Clown Car: a car with a clown face, some juggling pins, a unicycle, one child, and three clowns - Circus Train: a long locomotive in bright red, purple, and yellow, two cars for animals, one car for clowns, two tigers, an elephant, two clowns, a mime, an acrobat, an animal tamer, three employees, and a circus director - The Circus: a large circus tent, a tight rope, two rows of seats, a ticket booth, one tiger, two elephants, a tight-rope walker, three clowns, two acrobats, a circus director, a magician, two employees, an animal tamer, four children, and five parents - Circus Food Court (a retail exclusive): a hot dog booth, a pizza booth, a popcorn booth, a cotton candy booth, one clown, two employees, two children, and two parents I think it's possible for this to happen somewhere in the 2020s, or even 2019. Only time will tell. What do you think about these choices and what are yours? Warning: This is only a wishlist.
  14. This topic is possible sets you would like to see done in Ultimate Technic style/scale, this topic is for machinery (I'm keeping this separate from the car topic just to keep everything neat). I wouldn't mind seeing a sub-compact tractor, like a Cub Cadet Sc2400, or maybe something like a mini excavator.

    Doctor Who Wishlists

I've been having a lot of fun lately in the super heroes 'wishlists' threads started by Sir Gareth recently, I thought I'd start one for Doctor Who. We don't know that Doctor Who will become a full theme after the initial Ideas set but it seems very likely at this point. Given that we know LEGO has the license at least for Dimensions as well. I'll kick off the thread with my own ideal set list: As I see it there are not so many distinctive locations and vehicles in Doctor Who, besides the Tardis of course, but there are many interesting characters, so I've included in my suggested line a collectable minifigure series. I figure classic who isn't marketable for LEGO to put anything more than the Doctor and Sarah Jane in the CMF line, so no classic sets here. Another note: ideally each character would be wearing whatever outfit they were in the scene the set is based on. I've listed them in the order that the episodes premiered. 9: Dalek - 9th Doctor, Rose, Henry Van Statten - $20 - a playset with a Dalek which pursues Rose up a stairway, towards a shielded area where the Doctor and Van Statten wait. 9: Father's Day - 9th Doctor, Rose, Pete Tyler, Jackie Tyler, driver - $40 - section of church building with a time reaper, as well as a small car for the driver. 9: The Parting of the Ways - 9th Doctor, Rose (heart of the Tardis), Captain Jack Harkness - $20 - Dalek Emperor and a few Daleks. 10: The Girl in the Fireplace - 10th Doctor, Rose, Mickey, Madame De Pompadour, Clockwork marionette (x2) - $60 - Large playset with French ballroom and breakable mirror with spaceship interior on the other side; includes horse. 10: The Runaway Bride - 10th Doctor, Donna, Santa Robot - $20 - small piece of highway with a car and the Tardis (exterior). I presume that the Tardis exterior will look in sets like it does in Dimensions. 10: Gridlock - 10th Doctor, Brannigan - $13 - Brannigan's 'car'. 10: The Fires of Pompeii - 10th Doctor, Donna, Caecillius - $20 - main room of Caecillius' home with the Tardis in it. 10: The Unicorn and the Wasp - 10th Doctor, Donna, Agatha Christie - $20 - room with window with giant bee outside. I realize I use the $20/3 figure format a lot but I can't help it, perfect format and good price. 10: The Next Doctor - 10th Doctor, "Next" Doctor, Cyberman (x3) - $50 - giant brick-built Cyberman, "Tardis" (hot air balloon). 11: The Pandorica Opens - 11th Doctor, Amy, Rory (Roman), River Song - $30 - Stonehenge with trap door with staircase beneath and opening Pandorica and Cyberman head. 11: The Wedding of River Song - 11th Doctor, River Song, Rory, Amy, Madame Kovarian, Silence (x2) - $60 - Silence aquatic prison pods and large section of full building. 11: Dinosaurs on a Spaceship - 11th Doctor, Amy, Rory, Nefertiti, Riddell, Brian Williams - $60 - Spaceship deck with triceratops and the two robots. 11: The Angels Take Manhattan - 11th Doctor, Amy, Rory, River, Weeping Angel (x4) - $100 - simple model of the angel's hotel and giant brick built Angel statue of liberty. 11: Nightmare in Silver - Mr Clever, Clara - $13 - castle room with chess board on table. 11: Day of the Doctor - Osgood, Zygon (x2) - $13 - section of the undergallery. LEGO Ideas: Time of the Doctor - 11th Doctor, 12th Doctor, Clara, Seeping Angel - $60 - Tardis interior with attached exterior, with two daleks. This is based on the rumor of what the Ideas set is. 12: Robot of Sherwood - 12th Doctor, Clara, Robin Hood - $20 - forest area with fallen tree over river, and the Tardis. 12: Mummy on the Orient Express - 12th Doctor, Foretold, Perkins, Quell, Emile Moorhouse - $40 - two cars from the orient express (front car and laboratory). Doctor Who: Dalek Battle Pack - Human Dalek - $13 - includes one of each different (modern) Dalek color. This is here so that no one has to spend $4 on a dalek in the CMF series below. Doctor Who: Collectable Minifigures - $4 - this could include all classic doctors and variant costumes for modern doctors, companions, and villains (so as not to include any which would already be in the sets). Maybe a classic villain or companion or two, as well, like the classic Cybermen, which are still pretty cool for fans of the modern show. What do you think? leave your own wishlist below.... :)
