  1. Inspired by set 5984 (Lunar Limo) but with the firing missile and stickers removed. The gold and purple parts have also been removed for a subdued color scheme. This limo was originally Black Hole Gang leader Brick Daddy's limo, and as such was passed onto his second in command, Mister Gray upon his death. The limo's purple and gold were removed, and a subdued gray color scheme added instead. The limo remains Mister Gray's personal transportation now that he is retired, but this is a ruse to keep the Space Police off his tail. The real work that he does is helping rebel cells fight the Space Police IV forces, either by smuggling oppressed people around in his spacious limo, or using the secret panels to covertly transport gold or cash around to rebel hideouts or stops on the underground railroad to freedom in the galaxy's central core, where sensors can not penetrate and big ships cannot enter due to the increased gravity and many asteroid chunks. The limo's obvious weapons such as missile launcher were removed when Mister Grays went clean, but the secret is that he kept the EMP generator and code scrambler as a precaution. these would prove to be most helpful in his new role as founder of the resistance network and underground railroad to help oppressed aliens and techno-mages to freedom. The limo can seat one figure at the drivers seat and figure in the back. The trunk and roof open up via hinges. The rear of the ship. The trunk can also hold a figure to smuggle them out of harms way. After the death of the Brick Daddy, a criminal power vacuum caused war to erupt between Squidman and the mysterious Mister Gray, who was Brick Daddy's shady accountant and a corrupt lawyer. As Mister Gray slowly took over the Black Hole Gang from rival Squidman, he forced the Space Police III (who were at war with Blacktron 3 at the time) to regroup into the totalitarian Space Police IV by way of joining sides with Blacktron 3 forces. This proved critical to anti-alien leaning leaders of the Space Congress' plan of eradicating both the Blacktron scourge and Black Hole Gang. In the end, the Blacktron retreated to the edges of known space, and the Black Hole Gang was 100% destroyed save two major members: Squidman, who was no longer a Black Hole Gang member when the Gang declared war of the Space Police, and Mister Gray, who sold out the gang's location to save himself. He is sometimes now called Mister "Grave" instead, but never to his face, as he alone was responsible for the saturation bombing of the Gang's hideout. This bombing killed most members and blew up it's ammo dump, thus destroying any evidence of Gray's complicity in any past crimes. After this, he decided his clean slate was not worth the blood on his hands, and thus helped found the resistance network to fight the Space Police IV forces. His immense wealth helps out those in need, and he personally smuggles people around in his limo. Here is the LDD file for the ship and it's owner link. Comments, questions, suggestions and complaints welcome!

    [LDD] Apollo Lunar Module

Hi there, here is a creation made with LDD, the Apollo Lunar Module. I imported the creation in mecabrick and then exported it to blender to render it. The creation itself counts 825 bricks and, in my opinion, looks more realistic than the one made by TLC (Lego set 10029) : Rendering test by dorian glacet, sur Flickr
  3. You may have heard about Chinese lion dance which is a festive activity of the Chinese lunar new year. Indeed, kirin dance is another option, though it is less popular. The LEGO community has also proved this -- perhaps I am the first guy to build this but quite a number have built lion dance (according to google ^^). For your informaton, kirin is a mythical creature. Asian people believe it can wipe out evil spirits and bring lucks. After all, [though you may not be Asians] happy lunar new year and wish you joyful and healthy all the time! Cheer!
  4. It's finally ready, my tremendous entry into the challenge! This beast took more than 2 months of work in LDD to finish. It features many functions and new part colors, some of which are detailed below: Functions: Crane with turtable rotation, 2 pneumatic joints, an extending section, and a winch. An additional remote controlled winch at the front. Full six wheel drive, and steer. An auto compressor, and 2 airtanks Outriggers Opening doors, and back section. All functions except for the doors are remote controlled. New colors: New parts in teal New transparent panels Lots of black gears Lots of rare black parts Titanium metallic tread sprockets 2 additional L motors and three additional servos. Now, a bit on the design: When I first was planning on making this thing, I was kind of limited by the boxiness of the 9398 chassis, so I devised an extension of it. However, this extension looked terrible, at least for any real world six by six, so I chose to make it a lunar rover of sorts. The crane came next, and is based of of one I made in real life, for a different project. Operating said crane are two servo autovalves. The outriggers are probably the most complex aspect, as both stages are deployed by a single M motor, going through a very complex gear system. More pictures of the mechanism will be posted later, probably after the competition ends, same thing with the files. Front View Bottom view (the most interesting one. ) This view also clearly shows how the 9398 chassis is intergrated into the rest of the vehicle. Top view. Alternate aerial view. The crane and outriggers deployed, showing the crane's intergrated winch. Side view. Gallery of big photos, one moderated: Link Vote for it here: Link Please vote!, and thanks for looking.
