Hello! A year and a half ago, I saw somewhere on Flickr a building assembled on something like that. The idea came up to assemble an entire city from such buildings. At first standart basis were used, then doubled and quadruplet, and sometimes more. During this time two cities were built. I will share renders for those who are intrested. I haven't built a MOC in quite a while, been a bit busy with work and everything else. And the inspiration doesn't come as often as it used to when I was younger. But this January I decided to sit down and build a really cool MOC for a contest. And I thought, I enjoy Victorian architecture a lot, why don't I build a Victorian cottage? (I mean, technically it's a house but cottage sounds a bit more charming). This was a really interesting model for me to design. I actually started with the balcony and the tower, and then built downwards from there until I reached the baseplate. From there, (because it was all in one step in the stud.io file at that point), I ended up separating the entire model piece by piece, and building it again from the ground up! I am definitely the type of builder who will build everything at once and organically flow into a completed model. Only to find it is in one big step with no indication of how I got there. Wasn't going to fly for the contest, since we needed to build instructions. When I started building, because it was actually going to have more of a rectangular shape with a porch in front of the tower, I made one of the gable ends longer. But that really made the roof angles wonky. So instead, I decided to make it more or less the same on either side, which worked out in regards to the gable ends. The shell design over the windows on the tower went through several iterations before I found the one I liked. To add further complication, the whole model was then split into three parts, built again from the ground up, and instructions were made for those three parts. There were a few part problems to work out along the way, this step was incredibly helpful. The submodels were then reincorporated back into the final model with an accompanying 628 page instruction component. And of course part problems cropped up everywhere which meant the instructions had to be formatted again a whopping three times! What a journey! I think I definitely know the model inside and out by now. The most challenging part for me was working on the roofs. I am definitely not the best at coming up with angles and figuring out how to make those work, it definitely took a lot of time and a lot of trial and error. There was also a hilarious mishap at one point realizing that the detailed, hinged roof that I intended to be able to open and close would not open at all, and instead it just crashed into the porch roof. Which prompted a redesign to a more doll-house open wall style build. Oh, and there's no toilet. Which is a bit of an inconvenience for whichever minifigs end up buying this house, but it's nothing a little redecorating can't solve. The furniture was pretty fun to create too. I'm not the best at coming up with fantastic unseen-before techniques, so a lot of it more basic. It was a great experience to be able to build this model. The idea was rather spontaneous, and I settled on the Victorian house theme because I've always loved Victorian architecture. I especially loved the Monster Fighter's Haunted House, and I wanted to create something that had somewhat close to the accessibility of a dollhouse while still having the stability and bulk to be a stand-alone display model. There was quite a bit of trial and error on the trim, some of the pieces clashed in ways that the program wouldn't detect until it was too late. But overall, I'm very satisfied with how the build turned out! This MOC I've currently entered into the Bricklink BDP Series 1 contest that's currently ongoing, and it has just entered the voting phase. Hello Everyone, Coming back after a long period without touching the little bricks. I decided to rebuilt an old gas station that i made 10 years ago, and replacing it with this new one. I added a restaurant and the appartment of the owner of the gas station. I hope it will be safe for the minifigs.... Here we are with the latest modular I made. It is a medieval gate renovated in the eighteenth century with a decorated clock and a Pub on the side. The rear wall of the Pub coincides with an ancient medieval wall. Inside, in addition to the rooms of the pub, I've put a small room where bands can perform. The version made is only 28 studs wide as I needed it for the diorama I'm making. In this diorama some modulars will be moved by 6 studs to be able to put the sidewalk on the baseplates of the streets. This will give me the possibilty to put modulars face to face, but have a street in between that can be a 12 stud wide pedestrian street that represents those typical city center's, crowded with small shops and tourists. Obviously, during the design and implementation of the instructions, I also created the 32x32 version which appears in the gallery only as a rendering. I hope you will appreciate.

Hi everyone It's been a while since I've posted any new MOC's on Eurobricks but I wanted to show the latest project I've been working on called "Red London Telephone Box". In the past I've included miinifig scale phone box's in a couple of my other MOCs, which gave me the idea of building a much more detailed, large scale model of this British cultural icon. Although the red phone box can be found throughout the UK my model is based on an early version of the phone box called the "K2" which was designed specifically for use in London. As well as the phone box itself I've also included a red British pillar box and a street lamp complete with hanging flower baskets and plant pots. The front door can be opened to reveal a vintage telephone and detailed interior. LEGO IDEAS Thanks for checking out my latest MOC and I hope you like it. So this was something I did out of pure boredom. Back in October, I had ordered the 7638 Tow Truck off of eBay for a good price, but then I thought that it didn't really match well with my gas station. Recently, City has been doing nods to a lot of its classic sets in current city sets. In 2015, there were two nods. One was a tv chopper in set 60097, which was rather eerily similar to the TV Chopper from 1998. There was also this space set, which was a nod to a classic set. But I don't remember what it was. 2018, they did 60183 Heavy Cargo Transport and in 2021, they had the 60289 Air Show Transport; both of which were obvious nods to the 6357 Stunt Copter N Truck. It came to my mind of.....what would a revival of the tow truck from the 6337 Fast Track Finish set look like. So with that being said, here is a pic of my nod to the old Octan tow truck. For the side stickers, I had some Xtra sticker packs where I got the Octan labels from plus another Octan label that I got from eBay. My method to making this MOC, which is basically a recolored 7638, was really just to replace all the orange with white and all the bottom with red and green. I also replaced the blue lights with orange lights as those are what we use as warning lights here in the states (Just to clarify to our members from other countries). It may serve as a practical reference guide for building in or writing about a certain settlement. It provides a basic set of architectural, geographic and/or demographic background characteristics per settlement. Notes The described characteristics and features are an interpretation of what is seen and written in the build topic threads (in the first post). The given characteristics do NOT dictate what future builds of a settlement should look like; nothing is set in stone. What is considered in this index as a 'settlement' is determined by the sum of existing builds and lore; it is not defined by strict (build) requirements from the HSS. Hello everyone! Maybe it's too early, but let it happen. What do you think of the Speed Champions series in 2022? Do you think it will disappear or continue, or will it be under a different name? Anyway, personally, I think they will stay with us for a long time (after all, they have made specially new wheels for 2021). It seems to me that there is a good chance to see in 2022 in the SC series such cars: - BMW M8 (maybe GTE) - Pagani Zonda or Huayra - Ferrari - some F1 car - due to Toyota license can Toyota gr010 (hypercar) - maybe some cars from the DTM or VASC series Post comments about what you think.

Hello, I would like to present to you my latest MOC of a single-family home with garage: It is inspited by several projects of similar style that is apparently quite popular around the area of Warsaw, Poland. Could be not just here, but more widespread phenomenon. This is a a fully furnished two story building with small garden, garage and a fitting car (yes, it does fit inside, although barely :) ) The tree was built to finally use all those leaves I took from a PAB wall. And boy, is it part intensive... Here you can have another look at the tree and the side of the building: and yet another one: And now for the car: I am not a car expert, just wanted to have something to go with the building :) OK, so let's go inside. But just before that - a general areal view of the ground floor and surroundings: Here you can clearly see the plan of the ground floor. Once you enter the house from the top, you will see stair leading to the first floor on your right, underneath those is a kitchen area, on your left doors leading to the garage, bookcase, and doors to the toilet. Straight ahead door leading outside to the other side of the building. And here is a view of the kitchen: and the other side of the room: Let's climb the stairs and see what awaits us on the first floor: A living room with essentials like gaming console ;) There is also a bedroom with wardrobe, desk and a bedside table: More pictures can be found on my Bricksafe. What do you think will be coming out of the Speed Champions series in 2021? Personally, I think there is a chance for something from IMSA. There may be such sets: Corvette C7.R (small set) Koenigsegg Jesco (small set) Porsche Taycan (small set) Toyota Ts050 Hybrid (double set) Aston Martin Vulcan or Vantage GTE (double set) And maybe something else with hypercar because of the WEC season 2020/2021

Hello, I thought I had already given my presentation, but that was a long time ago. I'am Kwear, i had retake hobby Lego a day where i search an activity with my daughter in technic build. I had found the very nice french technic forum "Techlug" (ex-SeTechnic). But for moc new pieces technic, I haven't the good feeling. And i have slick to classic lego. My bad english is a problem, and i will write in french. Excuse me. I then dived my research into this world that I did not know, and I discovered a great community. I became passionate about creating a Lego club that I animated for 4-12 year olds. But I don't have the time anymore, so I've accumulated a lot of legos and it's my children who push me to create, play and... put away the stocks of pieces. I had somewhat left the forums aside, but while keeping an eye on them. I came several years ago on eurobricks but this is the first time that I present a moc it seems to me, I'm not sure (I had done the Sainte Sophie basilica / Ayasofia Museum) that I may represent. I made several changes to the school and the school bus. Added some walls to the right side of the school building and a roof. For the school bus, I removed the wheelchair lift as it made the bus look weird. Don't get me wrong, I have great respect and support for the handicapped. I just feel that it wasn't executed properly there. There was barely any room for the students. I decided to add an extra seat there instead. I also changed the wheel arches and recolored the sign to yellow and bumpers to black to closely resembled an American styles school bus. I customized it with my favorite school bus model, the Chevrolet B-Series with a Blue Bird bus body, in mind. Those things had power to spare. My sigfig drives the bus in this set.

We have a long-term ambition to build our own - enlarged - versions of all (more or less) LEGO modular buildings. Previously we have built two buildings based on 10251 Brick Bank, and we have now finished the next two - a 76 cm high modification of 10270 Bookshop. It is not only the height of the buildings that has made this a comprehensive project, but also the fact that all floors are fully furnished and equipped with light from Light My Bricks. For part of the interior, we have taken our starting point in 21328 Seinfeld and 10291 Queer Eye - The Fab 5 Loft, but in addition to this a lot of energy has been put into designing furniture, lamps and other furniture for all the floors.

early 1900's-style town buildings MOC's and MOD's - updated 2/28

I got a copy of set 76388 - Hogsmeade Village Visit on Saturday the 5th of February from the LEGO Store in my town. It will be heavily modified to fit into my existing setup, with back halves added to the buildings, same as I did to set 10217 - Diagon Alley set and heavily inspired by the style of 10193 - Medieval Market Village (both sets of which I've owned for over a decade now!) for use in my early-to-mid 1900's-town. You can find all those buildings, along with a few more, below. The Leviathan Inn Here are the pictures of "The Leviathan", which is supposed to be a bar / inn of some sort, and was formerly known as "The Three Broomsticks" pub. This building has a newly added back half and revised details on the inside, including more bench seating, a few beds upstairs, steam heat, drink dispenser tap, and a much-needed cash register. Side note: One of the dark green windows is backwards in this picture and has since been rotated into its proper place. The rear of the model. Unlike the revised Candy Shop, this building opens up to 180 degrees, allowing for the building's inside details to be more accessible. The entire rear half is new, along with most of the building's furniture and all the printed parts. Inside on the upper floor is a few beds for weary travelers, with two beds and two chairs. The room also features a steam-heater modeled after the one in the 2008 Modular Building, set 10185 - Green Grocer. The lower floor has tripled it's seating with two more "picnic" benches. I also added a drink tap to the counter beside a cash register. (the latter feature was sorely missing from the original set!) Wonka Candy Shop This is a rebranded Honeydukes from set 76388 - Hogsmeade Visit with a back half to the building and a (NEW) second sales floor added on. The name WONKA will go over the front door in printed 1 x 1 tiles I don't have in LDD, along with quite a few other parts missing from this model. ...and yes, that's supposed to be Willy Wonka standing out front of the shop. Rear view of the building. (Wonka should really look into getting that roof fixed as you can practically see inside the attic!) Also, the building can only open up to 90 degrees for inside access due to the overhanging structure of the roof and a few other items. This store has everything; a wall of Everlasting Gobstopper's in the four flavors, Scrumdidilyumptious bars, Square Candies That Look 'Round, new-formula Fizzy-Lifting drinks, a Wonka chocolate fountain, Exploding Candy (for your enemies), Lollipops of all kinds, and many more items. (Ok, so I didn't design most of the items in here. square candies and the Gobstopper wall are all I added of consequence to the inside. The rest of the sweets are repurposed / duplicated from the set, but they ARE in there.) Octan Gas Station (and 1920's fuel tanker truck) Here is my WIP version of my gas station and early tanker truck. I added a back wall to the building, made it look more late 1920's / early '30's by adding painted wooden siding, and removing the Christmas-time items as were originally installed by the designer. Also, several printed items are missing in this picture that will be added later. (Thanks to my brother who gave me the new 32 x 32 road plate for this project.) The truck was originally from set 10222 - Winter Village Post Office, while the building is inspired by Brick City Depot's Winter Village Gas Station, which you can see at their website. The Captain's Daughter Tavern This English style tavern was built from set 10193 - Medieval Market Village, and expanded by my brother to have an inside staircase and a better chimney. Rear view of this building. The inside of the model features a Frog on the bar (for no real reason), a inside staircase, and a bunch of seating on the second floor. Their is a gumball machine on the second floor at the top of the stairs. Backwash Bros. Saloon This model was inspired by set 79109 - Colby City Showdown from the 2013 Lone Ranger theme. I turned the 1 story bank into a 2 story saloon, complete with two lift-away sections to access the inside. This picture is from 2015, and the "neon" Saloon sign no longer exists. The first floor features the bar with old fashioned cash register, and a staircase to more seating on the second floor. The second floor features more seats and a piano. This level was originally supposed to be a game room, filled with pool tables and poker dealers. Unfortunately, the room never happened as the space constraints left too little space to place figures. The Adventuring Surplus Store This building was originally part of set 10217 - Diagon Alley, specifically Ollivander's wand Shop. I added a rear to the building and redid the interior to have more of an adventure supply / military surplus store. The store is currently owned and run by Bob from LEGO Universe, and features a few items from the game inside. The rear of the store features the back door. The shop only opens 90 degrees instead of 180, due to the roof being in the way. Inside we have weapons of various origins, from deep space to the distant past. Upstairs is the clothing section, with several space suits and battle armor on display. My Sig-Fig's House This building was originally the Blacksmith's shop from set 10193 - Medieval Market Village released back in 2009. I got it in 2011, near the end of it's production run. It has been turned into my mini-figures house, complete with furnished interior. Here is the rear of the house, continuing the wooden patterns from the front. The inside of the building features a couch, bed and a pot bellied stove. Their is a staircase, which was completely missing in the original set. Johnny Thunder's "Adventurers, Inc." Office (and Johnny's car) This Adventurers model was inspired by my original Johnny Thunder office building from 2015. I modified it into a corner building with a tower like in set 10255 - Assembly Square.The building is modular, and comes apart into three sections: roof, second floor and main floor. This model is my actually second tallest creation, as it's shorter than Lord Sam Sinister's Mansion and only slightly taller than my Saloon. The lower floor features a cabinet from set 10228 - Haunted House and a 1920's style ivory phone borrowed from set 10218 - Pet Shop. A hat rack (also from the Pet Shop set) is next to the wall opposite the desk. The far wall features some treasure from Johnny and his friends many adventurers, such as the Golden Shield from "Orient Expedition", a T-Rex tooth from "Dino Island", a trident from the "Quest for Atlantis", the replica hammer of the Thunder god from the "Age of Ragnarok", the helmet of a dwarf from "The Search for Middle Zealand", and many others artifacts. the upper floor features Johnny's bed, a stove, table with root beer bottle, and a radio / record player. This concludes my buildings I've built since 2013 that I still have built, with more to come. A few of these pictures are from 2015 and 2017... but I'll let you guess which ones. Hullo everyone! Poodabricks here and I'm here to talk about the new hospital, which I recently acquired. Though I took it apart and now use it for extra pieces. To set the foundation, I.....don't usually see medical themed sets in City like I used to and for hospitals, they usually had a six year waiting period. But then the 60203 ski resort set came in 2019 right after the hospital in 2018; messing up that system since it was technically a medical themed set. With that being said, this hospital actually came two years early, in which it should've been 2024 when they next hospital would come. I still prefer older hospitals however, with the one from set number 4429 being my favorite. I'm not at all complaining. Far from it actually! Matter of fact, it always annoyed me that the cops and firefighters got all the glory (the former getting the most) while the third first responder (the paramedics) were given the back seat. So kudos to Lego for giving the medical field more respect. For this review, I'm not only going to be talking about the good. But I'm also going to be talking about what I personally didn't really care about. Take note that everyone is entitled to their opinion. I'm not speaking for anyone else. So please take my opinions as though you were holding a grain of salt. So 👏🏾 let's get into reviewing this amazing set. 1. The Minifigs The minifig assortment is just perfect. I'm going to start off with the unnamed minifigs in this set. My favorite minifig from the available ones HAS to be the clown minifig. I'm assuming he is the mascot for the VitaRush soda company that is based in Lego City. Either that or they also specialize in clown clothes. My guess is that he is supposed to be influenced by Ronald McDonald who is also a clown character that represents a restaurant, the child friendly aspect of it that is. He's likely there to cheer the boy with the injured arm who is there with his grandma. There is also a new mother with her baby, which I actually think is kinda cute along with an older gentleman whom I believe is the father. There is also a cleaning lady, two paramedics and an elderly doctor whom is the chief medical officer I assume. Since I mentioned the paramedics, I'm going to say that I don't really care for the suits that they are wearing as it is a bit too.......British oriented for my liking. I preferred the medic suits that were available with sets like 60179, 60203 and 60204. I preferred those because they were more diverse and weren't really based off a particular country. Named characters are Dr. Spetzel, Dr. Fleiber and Wallop - who is one of the stuntmen in the series. I'm surprised they didn't include Dr. Contagioustein from the first season in this set though. But I don't know Lego's plan. Perhaps they'll include him in an ambulance set. 2. The Vehicles Vehicles included are an ambulance (duh) and helicopter (because Lego has to include a helicopter in almost all of their City buildings), a bike and a wheelchair (that counts as a vehicle as it has wheels and someone can sit in it. I don't hate the way the ambulance and helicopter look. People across the entire Lego community (not just here) have shown their dislike of the ambulance's shape. But to be honest......it doesn't bother me. Despite it being "American" style, it makes a nice change for Lego to go out of their way to make a cutaway shape instead of the traditional van look that they went with for the last four ambulances. It's fun when Lego decides to break tradition with its City sets sometimes thus why we got a school and we're getting a grocery store this summer. Sorry! I just can't stop talking about that set. Perhaps I shall look out for more surprises next year in 2023. But its a bit early to speculate there. Once again, I'm not fond of the colors of the ambulance or the helicopter. It seems like for this entire hospital, they were trying to make it look British style. The colors of the previous ones were much better as they matched the building. That's all I really have to say about the vehicles. Though I would've tried to make it longer so that it could fit another paramedic inside. But that's only nitpicking. 3. The Building First off, let me start off by pointing out the first of a two things; a CT scan room and a play area for children. Let me be one of the first people to say that I love that Lego literally went out of their way to put the first ever CT scan room in one of their hospital sets. I love that little feature where you can put a minifigure on the bed and roll him under the scanner to pretend like he needs an X-Ray. So that's a feature I adore. I also love the little play area next to the lobby for little children. That's just perfect for a child who is visiting. This is also the second hospital to contain a maternity ward. In this one, there is a lady with a labor gown included. It looks as though she has already had the baby as it is clearly out in the little baby hospital bed. I also love the lobby and desk area - which also acts as a snack bar where you can obviously buy one of two types of sub sandwiches. 4. Conclusion and Rating So overall, I give this hospital a B. I love the lobby area with the funny gag of the sub sandwiches. I also love the shape of the ambulance - though I'm not fond of the color scheme. I adore the play area, CT scan room and maternity ward being in this set and more time and space given to it. I also think the little clown coming to cheer up the injured boy with his grandma is pretty cute. I'd definately recommend this set to anyone who plans to build a table town with road plates as this is just right. Its not perfect - then again when is a Lego set perfect. But its definately better than some other buildings that we have gotten this year. ahem school ahem police station ahem. But anyhoo! That's my review for the day. Textures on the walls, a sloped roof and a open-plan feel. More than 42 inches tall, More than 6000 pieces, this hip, modern apartment skyscraper is my second tallest and second biggest MOC, located in the heart of Wasabi District. 505 WASABI Includes amenities such as a rooftop swimming pool up top and Wasabi District's first Dunkin Donuts. I can't say its any one particular European style, more a hybrid mix of styles. Hello Everyone. I present you my first ever modular building... It is my version of a town house with inner parking space. I got the inspiration of the Creator 3 in 1 - 4954 - Town House. It is a really simple build, without any extreme building techniques and a small range of parts. I tried to use only existing colors for the parts. I am not very pleased with the back of the building, where the door to the garden is, but I didn't give it much thought, since it is on the back of the building.
