    [MOC] Zeren

Armed with a sawed-off shotgun and a powerful sniper rifle, this intergalactic bounty hunter is prepared for any threat. Imgur album A MOC I've had since early 2010, finally looking like he belongs in 2018. I really doubled down on the sci-fi soldier influences for this new version, pulling from Samus, Doomguy, Master Chief, and the Titan Spectre armor from Destiny. Special thanks to L.A. Miranda, Constraction Deva, and Djokson for helping to bring this version to life. Their input and techniques went the longest way for this new version, and I couldn't be more grateful.

    MOC Soldiers Outpost

My latest project. Soldiers Outpost I was a big fan of the first pirate sets as a child, so I had to throw myself in a pirate-inspired MOC. Two soldiers are standing guard, the third tries to catch something eatable, while the general is guarding the treasure. They have caught a pirate who has been sitting in jail for quite some time now. It is important that the soldiers make sure that the pirates don’t free their mate... hmm maybe it's too late. Of cause the general is holding on to the biggest treasure chest any man have ever seen, so if the pirate is escaping there is always a reason to come back and conquer the island. 1-DSC03262 by Thomas Mouridsen, on Flickr 2-DSC03270 by Thomas Mouridsen, on Flickr 4-DSC03244 by Thomas Mouridsen, on Flickr 16-DSC03236 by Thomas Mouridsen, on Flickr More pictures: https://www.flickr.com/photos/137767198@N08/sets/72157693362640134/with/38808853560/ https://ideas.lego.com/projects/51efedd5-a914-4d42-b8a0-edfbd0065b26

  6. I am attempting to create a 18th century French soldiers (i.e. From French and Indian war or American Revolution) and this is what I was able to come up with. I was hoping to find a template for light gray coat but was unable to. From most images I've seen the French wore gray in the French and Indian war and white after. But based on military records the coat of the period was generally a white or off white. The decals were printed by http://www.saber-scorpion.com/shop Feel free to provide some feedback. Thanks.

    MOC: Osgiliath

Hi there! First of all, this is my first try at starting a topic, so Mods please correct me if I'm doing it wrong. After a span of two weeks not photographing anything, I finally had a surge of inspiration and built two LOTR themed Mocs. Osgiliath is presented here. This was my first attempt at doing some ruined wall-ish things, and I rather like how they turned out. I also got to use some Brick Warriors accessories which I have recently fell in love with So without further or do: Osgiliath: Main by Nagol_of_Fortfield, on Flickr And another: Osgiliath Action Shot! by Nagol_of_Fortfield, on Flickr C&C is always welcome and appreciated!

    Santa Catalina's Fortress

[pid][/pid] 251B Hello again ! I had not wrote a new thread here since months ... The blame for this has been what I brought in hand from about makes about 6 - 8 months... I present to you this diorama seen at LEGO Catbrick Event in Barcelona. The Fortress of Santa Catalina, located in Puerto Rico, in the heart of the Caribbean. Erected in the sixteenth century, was the first fortification built to defend the city of San Juan and the first in a series of military forts. Construction was authorized by King Carlos I of Spain as a protection against the attacks of indians, corsairs and pirates. Eastern tower section. Jungle and river. Pirate prisioner on courtyard. For its construction I used about 35,000 pieces. In theory it is not right either a MOC, I should label it as a WIP, because the original project is a quarter of a much larger diorama than this. This portion, is 6 x 4 baseplates and the final project will occupy 12 x 8 baseplates. Gradually I will try to finish it. I 'm uploading to flickr the rest of the gallery, so I recommend that you see there the rest of photos and see the details. (If you click on image you will be redirected to flickr) I wish you enjoy it! A greeting! EDIT: I add more photos!
  10. These ruthless pirates thought that walking the plank was too easy of a punishment. They got together and decided to give the captured soldier no chance at survival by tying him to a chair and dropping him off in a remote part of the ocean. A view of the lower half of the ship, with an unwanted visitor... A birds eye view of the deck... This is my entry to the PTV 2015 contest (Small category). Thank you :) Pat

    Bluecoat's Arsenal - 2015

The MOC is called Bluecoats Soldiers Arsenal. It is based on 8396 set (2009) but I added a base plate as the Cheetah’s walking throne 70141 set. And also bluecoats’ large and nice flag to raise it up in the morning. We can see only a hairpiece on the soldier’s head but there are 3 hats to choose from and a wig: a private’s hat and brown epaulets, an officer’s three cornered hat and red epaulets – after career promotion, and an admiral’s hat and white epaulets. A wig and yellow epaulets when he becomes a governor. There are 2 cutlasses – silver and usual, a gun and a pistol. The silver cutlass is in the shoulder belt. There are 2 backpacks – brown and grey. Such a variety adds playability, the set can cost minimum so fans of all ages can buy a few to enrich their collection and thus have any mini figure – from a private to a governor. I think this set would definitely fit into the LEGO Pirates Collection, If you'd like to have this as a part of your collection, please support it in LEGO ideas. You can also see other pictures of the MOC there. What would you advise to improve? https://ideas.lego.com/projects/107251 Well, every soldier dreams of becoming a general. So you can see how his carier can change gradually - a soldier - an officer - a general - a governor. Good luck to all of them!

I used almost 1000 pieces and it took me almost a week to come up with this. What do you think? http://www.flickr.com/photos/oirad72/

  14. I need to take the print of the lower two pockets, and nothing else, off of the below torso for a custom WS civilian Steve Rogers I'm making, but I'm not sure how to go about it. I've heard that pencil erasers work, but I don't know how precise that method would be. I've also heard about Brasso, but I'm not sure I want to buy a whole bottle, even a small one, just for one project. I had the idea of Goo Gone on a Q-Tip, but I'm not sure if that'd work. I'd really appreciate some suggestions from seasoned customizers, since this is my first non-purist custom minifigure. Here's the torso: I'll post the finished minifigure here when I have the rest of the parts.
  15. Just found this gem for sale on eBay! http://www.ebay.com/itm/LEGO-PIRATES-2009-6239-6240-6241-6242-6243-6253-BOXES-and-MANUALS-NR-/221693953340? Huge lot of 2009 Lego Pirates sets. If I'm not mistaken, that's practically the entire collection, minus the Imperial Ship. 7 SETS and 27 minifigures. Wow, I'm curious to see how much this will fetch!

    Lego Imperial Armada

    Garheim Mountain Camp

Now that I have holidays, there is finally time for LEGO again! So I decided to build someting for the online RPG "Lands of Classic Castle". "Journal II Less than two months have passed since we had to leave our home behind and fled to the barren wilderness of Garheim. The last provisions are on the decline, the cattle is sick and wasting away and to make matters even worse, winter is just around the corner. A long and dark winter, as we only know it in the northern regions of Garheim. The winter, it is told for generations, is the time in which the evil roams the land. At night, in the dark, so rumors whisper, the cry of accursed and outcast can be heard. Thieves , murderers and other scum that is resistant against the cold due to the long time in the wilderness, became one with the winter. To be prepared against all this evil, archers patrol on the old wall at night, to sound the alarm when needed. For those of us who went north , this will be the hardest winter of our lives so far. Solely the thought of returning home some day keeps us alive out there." -> previous Journal I know the title says "Mountain Camp", and yes there are no rocks...but I wanted to improve my wall-building-skills, so let's prentend that this scene takes place in a valley. Hope you like it, comments and constructive criticism are welcome!
