LOLA the flying 1962 Corvette from Marvel's Agents of Shield - real world 76077 MOD model
Murdoch17 posted a topic in LEGO Licensed
This is a modified version of the flying car LOLA from LEGO set 76077 (Detroit Steel Strikes) which is based on a vehicle the Marvel's Agents of Shield TV show. The car in the show is a 1962 Corvette sports car from the C1 generation with flying mode added, probably by Howard Stark. I redid the color scheme a bit, added the correct quad taillights of a Corvette, and strengthened the design everywhere I could using parts not available in 2017. Flying mode activated! The front of LOLA in driving mode. The inside of the car was redone in white to better contrast the red bodywork. The rear of the car. Turning the left and right dark bluish gray knobs 90 degrees folds down the wheels for flight mode. Both left and right doors open and the car seats one figure. Sadly, Agent Coulson is very expensive on Bricklink, so he won't be driving LOLA anytime soon. (although I have a way of making an approximation of him when funds allow) Thoughts? -
Edit: Show the most recent photo. Over the past 6 months I have been pulling all the shields I could find from my collection. I am 56 shields shy of having a complete collection. I have created a bricklink wanted list and am considering sourcing the remaing shields that are priced under $10 (all but one of them). I also need to source some more number tiles. The black 2x2 radar dish and the black 3x3 disk pieces are placeholders for missing shields. The black 1x1 round plates are placeholders for missing number tiles. Details of each shield can be seen here: https://followsclosely.github.io/shields/, the site has the same layout as the above image. Use the toggles on the top to show/hide and to break on year.

Nexo Knights: Merlok 2.0 App Rumours and Discussion
Chilly_Productions posted a topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
A LEGO Nexo Knights app has recently been released on the app store and play store, I saw this opportunity to make a thread about the game. Feel free to talk about anything related to the app. Here's my question, are the Nexo Powers that you get for free in the game included in any official LEGO products? -
Does anyone recognize which set or source this shield is from? As far as I know it is a Lego store exclusive which is kinda strange to me. (This is not a sticker by the way) Either way I was really excited to see a new shield design from Lego and with such detail.

Hi, with Lego revealing the Disney CMF series 2 the other day, what do you all think about the minifigure below and could that be our lot for Castle this year? The accessories are of interest to me, so I'll be stocking up on those.

technicbasics posted a topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Hi guys I work on the Nexo Knight Power shields for the Ldraw.org Parts Tracker Libary using spyrius.org libary for the codes. Now I found the first shield that was not listed. It is the shield #133 "Alpha Drill". Does anyone have the shield or a picture of the shield on which the code can be seen? Thanks in advance. Regards Johann- 12 replies

After finishing it and creating minifigures I uploaded it to LEGO Ideas which you can find here: Four-Towered Castle It contains some extra information such as piece counts. Feel free to leave a support on the LEGO Ideas site if you like it. 3D Model view here on Sketchfab: Four-Towered Castle The Full Inside view. Note that the castle is made in a "L" shaped layout. The left/West Entrance. Notice the flaps that would allow archers/crossbowmen to fire through and take cover. The inside side of the West entrance. Entrance to the hall from the courtyard/bailey. The alchemy room. With a green substance in a flask and a chandelier below the tall ceiling. The certainly need a ladder here. A tower with a wooden hoarding around it. Crossbows are stored here. The armoury. Along with the stacked sword it has a bed for a soldier here as well. View above the towers. Better view of the catapult and the winch for raising the portcullis. Inside the shack extension. The Great Hall. Turnable fire in the great hall's fireplace. Winch which you can rotate the fire and exterior of the hall. Drawbridge Outside. Gate Inside. Chest room. Stone Sigil. Walkway. Romans with a catapult & Celtic Warriors. Upper view.

SHIELD vs. HYDRA Mafia - Confirmation and Discussion
mediumsnowman posted a topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Please confirm your participation and receipt of a Role PM here. IF YOU SIGNED UP TO PLAY AND HAVE NOT RECIEVED A ROLE PM PLEASE CONTACT ME IMMEDIATELY! Beyond that, this thread can be used as a general discussion thread, whether you are playing in the game or not. (For example, complimenting me on my wonderful characters and pictures you may see in the Day threads ) If you're dead, discuss the game mechanics on the deadboard, not here. That ruins the game for everyone else. Host (1) Nick Fury, played by mediumsnowman The director of SHIELD, Fury is a no-nonsense leader toughened by bouts of intense conflict with the Red Skull and the villainous forces of HYDRA. Beware. He can and will mod-kill you. NPC’s (2) Phil Coulson, NPC Despite dying during the events of the first Avengers movie, Phil is still here. Nobody’s complaining though- what would Director Fury do without his right hand man? Maria Hill, NPC A tough and independent woman, Maria Hill has not died yet. Her levelheaded-ness and logical thinking have carried her and the crew of the Helicarrier through many difficult times. Players (16) Daniel Bartell, played by mostlytechnic Daniel is a top-ranking executive, visiting the Helicarrier with his coworkers Margaret and William for a top-secret meeting with Director Fury. He’s very proud of his intense mustache. Don’t say anything about his mustache, as Daniel is known to have a fiery temper. James Cunningham, played by Bob James is the leader of SHIELD’s elite tactical squadron. He’s rather laid-back, but he’s the best of the best out in the field and has led several successful missions. Some have speculated he may secretly be a werewolf, as he refuses to run missions in the full moon, but nobody has been able to prove it. Eugene Lawson, played by Forresto Eugene is a technician and whiz with computers. If something is broken, Director Fury can rely on him to fix it. Eugene is fairly quiet, but when he does open his mouth, people listen. The secret to his success- yellow work gloves and a seemingly magical screwdriver given to him by a certain Dr. Wynn, whom he met long ago on a mountain far, far away. Jafar Masrani, played by JackJonespaw Jafar is the ships cook. He can make anything, anytime, for anyone – the very definition of a short order chef. He is secretly jealous of his wildly successful cousin, who used to own an amusement park. It could have been him with the riches, but instead, he’s stuck flipping patties for a top-secret government organization. Hailey Coleman, played by Comrade Commander Hailey is a research scientist for SHIELD’s R&D department. She worked closely with Dr. Banner before he… well, you know. People keep telling her to tie her hair back (apparently it’s some sort of fire hazard in the lab) but in her own words, “I’m a strong independent woman who ain’t gonna listen to the haters.” Nobody argued, probably because she was holding a flask of potentially dangerous chemicals at the time. Todd Castillo, played by Tariq j Todd used to be a run-of-the-mill guard at a SHIELD warehouse, until he saw something he shouldn’t have and Fury was forced to either silence him or keep him closer. Being the kind and generous soul that Fury is, Castillo got a job on the Helicarrier. He’s a bit of an alcoholic, and is rumored to be descended from the legendary Upswich clan. Jasper Heinz, played by PirateDave84 Jasper is another technician, and close friends with Eugene. While Eugene specializes in the electronic side of things, Jasper can fix just about anything else, from jet planes to the economy, with the help of his trusty wrench and glorious beard. Cecilia Reed, played by Darkdragon Cecilia is a flight technician and part-time pilot. Though normally a focused and hard-working individual who lets nothing come between her and success, she has recently developed a bit of a crush on Jeffrey, another flight technician and wannabe pilot. She’s also an avid X-Men fan, even though they don’t technically exist in this universe. Jeffrey Brown, played by Dragonfire Jeffrey is a flight technician who aspires to soar through the air in a fighter jet. He’s a spunky and energetic young individual, who’s sense of humor has helped him through many hard times on his career path. He’s also completely oblivious to his co-worker Cecilia’s feelings for him. Walter Williams, played by jluck Walter is another executive visiting the Helicarrier for an inspection and meeting with Director Fury. He is by far the oldest on the board, and has an obnoxious tendency to refer to everyone else as “youngsters.” He tends to start every other sentence with “Back in my day…” Robert Thorn, played by Umbra-Manis Robert is a middle-aged man full of ambition. He has played second-fiddle to James all his life, and is poised to take over the leadership position when he eventually retires. Despite his harsh exterior, Robert is actually a pretty nice guy at heart. He donates to and volunteers at several charity organizations, in honor of the wife and son he lost when the Chitauri attacked New York. David Leffel, played by fhomess Leffel is a member of SHIELD’s extraction team. His sole job is to get other agents out of sticky spots. No one is sure if they’ve ever actually heard him speak. He’s gained a reputation as a “passive participator” or more accurately an “active non-participator.” No one is quite sure what to make of him; he’s a bit of an enigma. Steven Schram, played by Khscarymovie4 Steven spends all day in the Helicarrier workout room, which has led to the well-defined muscles on his plastic torso. Either that or the host stole his torso from a more comic-book figure. No one is quite sure. He is quite fond of scary movies, particularly Scary Movie. Alyssa Turner, played by CallMePie Alyssa works in the Helicarrier medbay and has saved the lives of countless agents. Optimistic and cheerful, Alyssa is always smiling. It’s almost like her face is printed that way. She’s constantly bugging Jafar to make her the one food he can’t master- the taco. Kinjobby O’Laughlin, played by Junior Shark Kinjobby might be the most dedicated pizza delivery man this universe has ever seen. Somebody ordered a pizza from his business in Scotland, and he chartered a private jet to get to New York and the Helicarrier, which was the address given. Yes, the Helicarrier has an address. Kinjobby is an oddball, but he has pizza, so nobody is too off-put by his presence. Margaret Corrigan, played by Lady K The last of the executives on a trip to Fury’s mobile base, Margaret is stern and uptight. She gets along well with Walter, as they both tend to lean towards the old fashioned way of doing things. When you put Margaret on the job, things get done. No exceptions. The Rules! 1. Each player will be given a character to play, who will be aligned with either SHIELD or HYDRA. To win the game, SHIELD must kill off all the HYDRA agents, while HYDRA needs to outnumber SHIELD. Third-Party (neutral) characters have their own win conditions as outlined in their roles. 2. Each day you will be able to vote to lynch a player. Voting should be done in the following format; Vote: Character (Player). Similarly, unvoting is to be done in the format; Unvote: Character (Player). No other format will be accepted. A majority vote is required to lynch a player. You must place a vote each day. 3. A game day will last 72 hours. You may not vote in the first 24 hours. After the day has concluded, a night stage will commence, which will last a maximum of 48 hours. Night actions must be sent to the host in the first 24 hours of the night stage. 4. The alignment of lynched players, as well as those that died during the night, will be revealed at the beginning of the following day. 5. You may not quote or pretend to quote anything sent to or from you in PM with the game host, or in PM with any other players. This includes all the details of your character and role, as well as any night action results. Role claims and reporting of night action results are acceptable, but in your own words only. Do not attempt to use the structure of your role PM to your advantage. 6. Do not play the game outside the thread. Similarly, do not post out of character inside the thread; you must always play the role given to you. Game tactics and roles may only be discussed in the game thread or via PM with other players. Private discussion is done at your own risk and should be treated as part of the game. 7. If you are dead, you may not post in thread or discuss the game with any of the players. Any information you had becomes void, and may not be passed on. 8. You may not edit your posts, unless you are me. Your beloved host often makes typos and will be compelled to correct them. 9. You must post in every day thread. 10. There probably aren't clues in the pictures or flavor text. Wildly speculate if you must. It's fun. 11. If you encounter a problem or have a question, please contact the host via PM. 12. Violation of the above rules will result in a vote penalty of half the required majority against you on your first and second offense, and the death of your character on your third offense. Violation of rule 7 will have a heavier penalty, including suspension, made at the discretion of the Games Moderator. Let the games begin! -
Hello Eurobrickers! I am here to show off my first complete MOC, the shield generators on Hoth. The final model is a little above 1700 pieces, I have to modify the model slightly for stability purposes, and then I will know for sure. Here is a good look at the Final Model: The base is sturdily constructed and the generators fit on top quite nicely. A look from the side: And a final look from the other side: The model took about a month to design and build. I will make this MOC's files purchasable once I finish (and start) the instruction booklet. Once complete the instructions will come with the excel spreadsheet containing a parts list. The minifigs are not a part of the parts list for anyone wondering! Overall it was a great experience to finally finish my first MOC. Now I just have to figure out how to finish my Invisible Hand Bridge MOC . That one is A LOT more pieces as the bridge is minifig scale and as exact as episode III will allow me to make it. Anyways, enough about that MOC, I hope you enjoy this!

I bought the "Carnage’s SHIELD Sky Attack" set mainly for the minifigs, but felt the vehicle was a bit too large. It seems about the size of a normal City helicopter, when I felt it should be something lighter and more manoeuvrable. I really liked the fans on the side, so thought I'd reconfigure the vehicle as a hovercycle. Here's the end result: And a clearer shot without the pilot: I built it without adding any additional parts, but I'm thinking I'll replace the control panel with handlebars and give the pilot a full helmet. As always any thoughts or feedback is most welcome!

Carnage has broken out of prison and the SHIELD agent is in hot pursuit to recapture him. Place the SHIELD agent in the jet flyer’s cockpit, adjust the wings and soar into the sky. Fire the stud shooters to try and repel Carnage’s tentacular aerial attack! Luckily, Web-Warrior Miles Morales Spider-Man has swung into the LEGO® Marvel Super Heroes universe to help contain this creepy super villain. Topple Carnage with super-jumping Spider-Man and save the day! Includes 3 minifigures with a weaponelement and assorted accessory elements: Spider-Man, SHIELD agent and Carnage. FINALLY! After four years of seeing spiderman sets as part of the Marvel Super Heroes, we get a different version of Spiderman! Its been a wait, yet this year we actually get TWO versions. It's nice that Lego have finally addressed the fact that Spiderman is not just one person. But a new Spiderman figure isn't the only highlight of this set. Let's have a look at what else we get. Name : Carnage's SHIELD Sky Attack Piece count: 97 Price:£11.99 First off, the box. It's the standard affair, with an action shot showing off our characters and the build. The back of the box gives a second action shot of the vehicle on the ground, our plucky SHIELD Agent isn't so scared now. It also informs us of the inclusion of a Super Jumper, and a little demonstration of how it works. Down in the bottom right hand corner is an advert for the new Marvel Game. The top of the box gives the standard 1:1 scale for your figure. Inside you get two unnumbered bags, one folded instruction manual and a very small sticker sheet. Parts selection Spare parts The completed build The figures, from left to right, the SHIELD Agent, Spider Man and Carnage. First up, Carnage The printing on this figure is brilliant, and I was happy and surprised to see printing on his arms too. It's a shame that the back printing is covered by the neck bracket. Time for our hero, Spider Man When I saw the preliminary pictures of this set, I wasn't too sure about the figure. Now that I've got him in person, I take it all back. The figure is very faithful to the tv version, for once plain legs and arms are correct. The front and back printing is excellent, including the muscle definition. My only complaint is that Lego still haven't figured out how to print on the entirety of the head, the gap between front and back head printing is a little off-putting, but not horrible. (The only figure that really suffers from lack of side head printing is Nick Fury) Now for the SHIELD Agent Again, he features very nice printing, yet I was disappointed that his arms are plain, why did the arms from Maria Hill not get used. He would look a lot nicer with the SHIELD logo on his arm in my opinion. Lastly, it's the little SHIELD hovercraft. I love this little thing, its 100 times better than the build from Iron Man vs. Ultron. I can imagine having six of these flying around a Helicarrier with Venom and Carnage attacking them all. The small 2x2 round tiles with the fan printing are lovely and I can see those, plus the SHIELD Agent being a good enough reason to pick up multiple copies of this set. The characters have a few flaws but these are personal opinions, and hardly detract from the set at all. I would take this over the larger Spider Man set released this year any day, yet I'm in it for the figures so I'll probably stilled up getting that one too. Hope you've all enjoyed my second review on here, and please feel free to add any additions to this review that you have!

So yeah, been thinking and working on some ideas for some cool Agents themed sets... Warning: contains spoliers. SPOILERS! SPOILEEERS. Possible ideas that popped up in my mind: "S.H.I.E.L.D. SUV Pursuit" A Shield Black SUV, a Hydra soldier, agent May or a shield agent as the minifigs. Kinda of a small, $15/$20 set. "Attack on the Fridge Tower." Inspired by the scene where Grant Ward, John Garrett and HYDRA raid the Shield prison known as "The Fridge", and are attacked by a SHIELD helicopter. A Black S.H.I.E.L.D. attack helicopter with flick-missiles or stud shooters, a section of a building meant to represent the Fridge. A Hydra agent, Grant Ward (not in SHIELD uniform), Garrett and a SHIELD pilot/agent would be included in the scene. Helicopter could be similar to the one from the Jurassic World set, but a bit bigger and with weapons. Average set, around $30/40. "Vanchat's Arrest." Inspired from the part in AoS's premiere where Ward arrests criminal Vanchat, would include a SHIELD Helicopter, bigger than the one in the set above, kinda like a Huey or Black Hawk, two SHIELD agents, Vanchat, Grant Ward in SHIELD outfit with a logo on the chest or shoulder, and Victoria Hand. A $40/50 set. "Attack on the Playground" This would be the biggest set, including FitzSimmons's science/medical lab, a hangar, a Quinjet and a landing hangar for the Quinjet itself, and a SHIELD SUV. Minifigures would include Fitz, Simmons, Coulson, a SHIELD pilot, and Calvin Zabo (Skye's father). This is the biggest set of them all, and would depict the scene where Calvin Zabo takes the "Super-soldier" serum given to him by Jiaying, and attempts to kill Coulson. "Mojave Desert Incursion" Includes Skye, Raina, May (if she's not included in the SUV set), Coulson, a desert building with Raina's mind-reading machine and some control panels, two soldiers working for the Centipede, a small/damaged desert building, SHIELD unmarked car. Meant to resemble a scene where Coulson's team attack the Centipede's facility where Coulson is held prisoner. What do you guys think? I have built the SHIELD helicopter which could be similar to the one in Vanchat's arrest, built the SHIELD SUV. Will update with pics soon.

Why didn't LEGO match the color of the connector to the surfboard/
Silent Nomad posted a topic in LEGO Action Figures
(I just noticed that the title got cut off. After the / it was supposed to say "shield," with a question mark.) I've been wondering for a while if the part pictured below, used to join Tahu's "lava surfboard" and Kopaka's "frost shield," came in colors that corresponded to the colors of the parts they're used on (silver and white, respectively). I recently looked it up and it turns out that a white one does exist (last used in 2011), and although a "silver metallic" one doesn't technically exist, I was able to find one calling its color "silver" (last used in 2003), which is close enough for me. Given that, I thought I'd pose this question: why do you think the Bionicle set designers didn't use this piece in colors better suited to match the pieces they were used on? I would have preferred if they had, because then the pieces wouldn't be so obvious or contrast so much, and I'll be replacing the piece with a silver one on my Tahu, once I get it. -Nomad -
I'm looking for a shield with the white tree of Gondor permanently applied/printed on it. Where can you get those? Are they good quality? Alternatively, does anyone provide a sticker or transfer of the white tree? I already have a plain black shield that would look good with the crest of Gondor on it. Thanks in advance, Amps

With the Release of LEGO: MARVEL Superheroes on the way I thought it was time to make an Agent Coulson Minifig, cos this universe needs one! So inspired by the new series of 'Marvel's Agents of Shield' being broadcast and what references on LEGO Coulson exist, that's what I did, along with a few members of his handpicked task-force to accompany him. Agent Coulson Leo Fitz Jemma Simmons Click on any image to go to my Flickr Page, where the full size image can be downloaded for your enjoyment! (Colours may appear a little strange on-screen, this is because they are designed for printing, so they should appear correct when printed) :) If you do use this decal, I would love to see how it turns out and where in the universe it ends up. So do send me a link to any pictures or MOCs you have either through Flickr or any of methods on the bottom of the image, enjoy! This Decal is for Personal Use Only! This Decal is NOT for Commercial Use!
