  1. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2014 UPDATE: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi! Instructions for my Snowspeeder model are now available at mocplans.com Instructions are made by Eric Albrecht (Blakbird) and have 125 pages. Model itself has 2191 parts. I'll update this post with rebrickable url later when it's online. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- earlier 2014 update ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi, I have updated this model: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2014 UPDATE ends, original first post from now on -> ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi. After my first Technic x-wing MOC I'm tryint to build the rebel snowspeeder. (T-47 airspeeder) Speeder will be roughly in the same scale with the x-wing: Here are first photos of the T-47. Feel free to point out anything that looks off. I need to get more light gray parts as I had to use dark grey in wrong places ;D My reference photos show that even the models used in movies have wings in different angles when looked from the rear. I guess I'll use wing angle that fits the best with my parts. My plan is to have two joystick in cockpit. Other one to control the "ailerons" on top of the engines and the other one to control rear "gun". Don't know yet if the cabin hatch should be motorized or not. -drakmin Drakmin's youtube

  3. Edited Nov´21 Hello folks, Rogue One, a absolute stunning movie (in my opinion), gave us this great designed, whale-shaped Flagship. It is like a combination between classic McQuarrie concepts as well as modern military submarines. The instructions are now avaiable at Brickvault: https://www.brickvault.toys/products/mc-75-star-cruiser-confidence LEGO UCS MC75 Star Cruiser CONFIDENCE by Kommandant Keller, auf Flickr About this MOC: Dimensions - 89 cm x 20 cm x 46 cm The model contains 5728 pieces 700-pages Instructions The ship features a compact, but playable interior including maintenance hangar, command areas and detachable quarters A Nanoscale Tantive IV can also be fitted right into the hangar bay in front of the ship UCS MC75 Star Cruiser CONFIDENCE by Kommandant Keller, auf Flickr Shame on me I didn´t post an update earlier but some other priorities kept occupied me the last months on further progress. Not to mentioned I took quite long to finish the model digitally. I went through different versions, each iteration with better techniques and quite better shaping... it was always some kind of finding the right balance considering techniques and esthetics. Like for the digital model and instructions: The rear-shape changed another time because the used building methods just were to challenging for implementation. But irl quite easy to archive. LEGO UCS MC75 Star Cruiser CONFIDENCE by Kommandant Keller, auf Flickr In Lego-Universe it always felt like something is missing for the Rebel Alliance Fleets out there. Dozen of ISD, various shapes, types and sizes – but less big Rebel ships. I am very proud of the outcome, especially since there are not many UCS-like Mon Calamari ships out there. And let´s be honest - the color scheme was the most fun part of designing. Doing some happy little drops here, markings there. The ship differs to the well-known PROFUNDITY Star Cruiser but I couldn´t resist to paint it acccording to my wishes and put a name on it. CONFIDENCE! UCS MC75 Star Cruiser CONFIDENCE by Kommandant Keller, auf Flickr Maybe this model can inspire some of you for Mon Calamari Star Cruisers Kind regards Kommander/Keller Original post February 2019
  4. Hey guys, I wanted to update my Rebel Heavy Tank, which I created back in 2009, with newer pieces and techniques. I modeled and rendered in Studio. For those unfamiliar with the vehicle, T3-B tank is the heavy attack tank of Rebels from the RTS game Star Wars Force Commander and also made appearance in Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds. Hope you enjoy, and feel free to comment!
  5. Hey everyone! Just posting an update on my MC75 Profundity. My original version used some technic liftarm supports at the front of the ship that obscured the lower command fin and wasn't as attractive. After trying a bunch of options, I've settled on this design as a balance of structural support and appearance. It's probably slightly less stable than the first version due to having one fewer support point over a smaller base surface area, but the ship isn't really designed for swooshing anyway, so I'm pretty satisfied! I additionally made some parts changes to reduce rare part usage; the new version also cut maybe 150 bricks overall. I hope you like the changes! Although there are a few different variants of the ship that showed up in Rise of Skywalker, this is the base design as seen on-screen in Rogue One, commanded by Admiral Raddus during the Battle of Scarif. Although Rogue One and some online images were used occasionally for scale/size reference, I mostly used the MC75 model from the board game Star Wars Armada for the design (a fantastic board game for anyone interested in strategy games). Part count: 3,294 LEGO bricks Dimensions: 32 in. L x 7 in. W x 15 in. H The original version took about six months of off-and-on design work to finish in LDD. I spent another four months testing the new stand for the update. Stud.Io was resisting while the PDF instructions manual was generating, but it got there eventually. The Profundity is designed to-scale with LEGO's new ISD (#75252) as well as most other JD MOCs, including the MC80a Home One, MC80b Liberty, and MC30c. The height of the ship was a bit of a challenge, but in the end the tall stand turned out to be an advantage for mounting other Rebel ships. Both the Tantive IV and the Ghost are designs by LEGO (the Tantive from the new ISD, and the Ghost from the Star Wars advent calendar) modded only for attaching to the model. The Tantive can be placed docked inside the hangar bay, escaping the Profundity, or on it's own independent stand. The MC75 star cruiser is a Mon Calamari city ship repurposed for combat with battleship-grade heavy armor and a large weapons collar encircling the main body of the ship. The most well-known MC75 was the Profundity, commanded by Admiral Raddus during the pivotal Battle of Scarif. Boasting twenty point-defense laser cannons, twelve broadside turbolasers, four heavy ion cannons, twelve proton torpedo launchers, and six tractor beam projectors, the MC75 was more versatile than the MC80 and easily adapted to varying engagement styles. The most notable feature of the MC75 is an armored outrigger fin extending the bridge command pod below the ship, a design choice intended to evoke the appearance of predatory fish feared among the Mon Calamari. A smaller fin above the ship housed the transmission array and primary sensor clusters. The large docking bay within the ship's nose was capable of docking ships up to the size of small corvettes (notably the Tantive IV). Although the MC75 lacked prominently displayed engine housings, twelve Kuat Drive Yards Gemon-15 sublight ion drives hidden beneath the rear armor plating allowed the MC75 to match the cruising speed of starfighter escorts. I tried to be as accurate as possible to the on-screen appearance of the MC75, but decided to sacrifice the grills in the sides of the forward weapons collar. Unfortunately the scale also prohibited adding the 8 smaller sublight engines in the rear of the ship. Clearly the model isn't a 'swoosher,' but overall it's remarkably sturdy! Honestly the test build went much smoother than expected, given the complex angles and the continued presence of gravity (haha). It took about twelve hours to assemble using Stud.Io and making corrections/fixing errors; should be significantly less using the manual. Thanks for looking - hope you like the design!

    [MOC] Nebulon-b Escort Frigate

About 3 years ago, I made a Nebulon-b out of parts I had at my house, and really liked it. People were asking me for instructions to buy it, and I didnt have any. Now, three years later, I have finally gotten around to upgrading it and making instructions. With that being said, here is my new and improved Nebulon-b Escort Frigate:I built this with the main goal of making it movie accurate, sturdy, good for display, but most of all, CHEAP! All of the 1895 pieces will cost you about $190 to order through bricklink, which is less than many other mocs Ive seen that can be very expensive. This was very fun to build, and way better than my old model. Disclaimer: I have not built this version out of physical bricks, and am planning to buy it for myself once I gain enough money to buy the parts myself. The point is, the inside structure is almost identical to my old one, and it is sturdy. The stand will be enough to hold it up.I did not include an interior, but there is enough space in the main part under the antennas for two minifigs sitting down. It can easily be decorated if you are into interiors in your models. The ship looks good from all angels and has a little unfilled space which you can barely see. Here are the rest of the images: The moc is now For Sale at: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-41937/AWproductions/nebulon-b-escort-frigate/?inventory=1#info Here is the link to my old model that I built if anybody is interested: https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/150019-moc-nebulon-b-escort-frigate/

    (MOC) MLC-3 Light Tank

I made this MOC of an old kenner toy a few years ago, with all these coronavirus lockdowns I finally had time to make a display and upload it! It can technically fit a minifigure, but you have to take apart a few bricks. I also added the dreaded stud guns because I wanted it to fit in with the official sets I had on my shelves. I also made a P-tower turret and some troops to go along with it. EDIT: Thanks to @BEAVeR, I actually have images on this post now instead of the singular low-quality one. Side View of the tank. Back/top view, not much to see here. Opened cockpit. It can barely fit a pilot (I made a custom one as opposed to the hoth troopers the kenner toy had), but I wanted to try to keep the dimensions with the bubble canopy I used. You do have to remove some parts to get him out, as shown. The P-tower was alot of fun to make, I think it's definately more accurate than what we got with assault on hoth. No six-stud shooter, though. As a side note, the troopers I created for the display use scarfs from the apocolypse wyldstyle minifigure from TLM2 I had left over after buying some of her to use the legs on the orange mandalorian from 75267.
  8. Hi everyone, About a year ago I was inspired by @obijon’s amazing and very extensive collection of micro builds to start working on my own micro versions of my favourite Star Wars ships. I think I have enough of them now to get all cocky (what’s that Han?) and start sharing instructions on Rebrickable so here’s the first wave, the Rebel Starfighters. Update: I’ve thrown together some Resistance variants too! The X-Wing, A-Wing and B-Wing are fairly solid little builds, at this scale one-stud connections are inevitable but luckily these are still kind of swooshable, as long as you’re careful! The A-Wing is my favourite, I went through so many real and Stud.io prototypes trying to get the shape, fins and connections right that I’m so pleased I finally ended up with a strong and recognisable build. The Y-Wing is the most fragile of the group, it’s almost all one-stud connections, particularly to the centre of the hull, so unfortunately it’s only suitable for display. I’m aiming to build several of each fighter as part of a micro Rebel hangar display and with that in mind I tried to stay away from rare/expensive parts. Having said that I couldn’t resist using the skate helmets on the Y-Wing and my liberal use of those little curved slopes with notches pushes the cost up a bit too. Oh well, you can’t build a rebellion on peanuts! Back in the spring my first attempt at making instructions in Stud.io was actually this U-Wing. I managed to build the rear of the ship so that the wings fold out but there are so many weak connections that it means the wings are very fragile. I also have to admit that I cheated when connecting the engines, to keep those wheel pieces in place I wrapped a layer of tape around the internal 3L bars and pushed the wheels on. I’m still on the hunt for a better (and legal) solution and I’m open to suggestions! Update: I’ve just finished a few Resistance variants of the Starfighters, almost in time for The Rise of Skywalker. The B-Wing involved a lot of guesswork as it’s only very briefly seen in the film and trailers, but it was the same with the old B-Wing and Return of The Jedi so I suppose it’s a Star Wars tradition that’s been upheld. Overall I’m really pleased with how all these little ships have turned out and especially how they look together as a group. I’ll share more micro starfighter instructions (the next is the Millennium Falcon) when I can and if we get a good look at the new B-Wing in TRoS I’ll be able to finish the Resistance version of the starfighter group too. All my MOC and MOD instructions so far are here, I’m always grateful for any comments and criticisms. Thanks for looking and down with the space nazis!
  9. Finally! I am done! Or am I? ... Luke is sitting in the rather uncomfortable steel chair of the Redemption’s medical bay. His new mechanical hand feels cold where it is attached to the bone. Stupid Vader… His glance wanders up towards the large viewport. He squints as the light of the hundreds of billions of stars in the galaxy greets him. But the glow of the stars is just a faint glimmer compared to the magnificence of the kickass Rebel Fleet just outside! My latest creation is the Rebel Fleet as seen in the last scene of the Empire Strikes Back: Fear the Might of the Rebel Fleet! UPDATE: Many more fighters: Overview The fleet is made up of the following ships (Updated): - 15 T65A X-Wings - 16 BLT Y-Wings - 6 A/SF B-Wing Heavy Assault Starfighters - 5 RZ-1 A-Wings - 2 TIE/LN Starfighters - 1 Lambda-class T-4a Shuttle (Tyderium) - 1 heavily modified YT-1300 Light Freighter (The Millennium Falcon) aka. a piece of junk. - 3 GR-75 Medium Transports - 1 CR-90 Corellian Corvette (the Tantive IV) aka. A Blockade Runner - 1 EF76 Nebulon-B Escort Frigate with medical retrofit (The Redemption) And… - 1 heavily modified Firespray-31-class Patrol and Attack Craft (Slave 1) As you can see a few guests have snuck in – not all of them are especially welcome. There are a number of unidentified ships in the fleet scene, but rather than speculate on the exact scale and shape of these ships, I have focused on creating “Guests to Scale”. The Fleet Or “Home, sweet home”, as it is known to many rebels. The Fleet. Straight Perspective. This angle gives an overlook of the fleet and a sense of how the different ships relates to one another. Flying away. I was a bit challenged capturing the entire fleet from this angle – a few ships are missing in this shot, but a wall was in the way. The Flagship Leading the fleet is the flagship, the Medical Frigate – Redemption. The Flagship. The Medical Frigate is currently the flagship of this ragged fleet. The eagle eyed amongst you may be able to spot that I once again have made a number of modifications and added detail. Hint: The changes can be found from front to back on the ship :) Charting the Course. The flagship leads the way. Mmm look at those engines… The Falcon The most famous (and infamous) ship in the Rebel Fleet. This old YT-1300 freighter has seen more action in its lifetime than half the Imperial Fleet. Falcon and Transport. This picture is interesting because it shows the Falcon’s size in relation to a number of ships (the fighters closest to the camera not included). The Falcon is naturally dwarfed by the Transport, but it is also worth noticing how little space there must be on the bridge of the Transport. Two pilots would be hard pressed to fit in there. Closer. Here the docking ring and cockpit are in focus, but we also get a sense of scale in relation to the characters in the viewport of the medical bay. Falcon Front View. Several types of smaller crafts and fighters can dock and resupply with the frigate. The Rebel Fighters Escorting the fleet is a range of different, specialized fighters, from A-wings to Y-wings. Fighters. Five types of fighters can be seen this picture. A-wings. Beginning alphabetically, we have two A-wings zipping by the Deflector Control tower of the frigate. A-wings are among the fastest fighters in the Rebel Fleet, giving even a TIE Interceptor a run for its money. B-wing. Two B-wings are in the Rebel Fleet, they are not on direct escort duty, but more than capable of disabling even larger Imperial ships with their formidable array of deadly weapons. The B-wing was developed by none other than Admiral Ackbar and is the most heavily armed fighter in the Rebel Fleet. The fighter is mainly used in hit and run missions against Imperial targets. X-wing. The X-wing is the most common fighter in the Rebel Fleet. Today it is on escort duty, but this all-round fighter is capable of so much more; for example transporting force-adept farmboys around the galaxy and blowing up multi-trillion-credit Imperial installations. Y-wing. Six trusty old Y-wings serve as escorts in the Rebel Fleet. The attack fighter mainly serves on bombing runs but can also be used for escort detail. The fighter is one of the oldest active fighter designs in the rebel fleet and has gone through a number of modernizations. Most Y-wings have their engines’ hull plating stripped to make the heavy fighter lighter. The Corvette If you freeze frame the last scene of the Empire Strikes Back, you can just make out the silhouette of a Blockade Runner flying in the background. The model for this ship is most like the Tantive IV, which is the one I used for reference when building my CR-90 Corellian Corvette. Corvette Front View. The Corvette trails the Medical Frigate in the fleet. It is the second largest ship in the convoy and sports formidable anti-fighter capabilities. As such the Corvette could easily fly without fighter escorts, but a prudent fleet admiral has assigned four Y-wings to escort the ship – this may prove to be a very wise decision. Corvette Side View. As Slave 1 zooms past the Corvette the main canons try to train on the target, however the target is much too fast. Front/Side. The Corvette is followed by two more Transports. Corvette Engines. So many glorious engines. Unwelcome Guests Building at this scale it became very hard not to build other crafts, which may not be a part of the Rebel Fleet. I am a sucker for scale models and seeing ships in relation to each other, plus it gives the entire scene a sense of action. This is not just a Rebel Fleet meandering the outskirts of the galaxy; stuff is about to go down :) Slave 1. Boba Fett jumps in from hyperspace, almost colliding with the Rebels. Can the Imperial agent sabotage and disable the frigate before he has to flee? Even the powerful Slave 1 is no match for a Rebel Fleet this size, so he has to be quick. Slave 1 Up Close. The little Slave 1 moc features as much de detail as possible: a fully rendered back side with engines, poseable wings, canons and a translucent cockpit. The wedge slope is from the 6964 mini Slave 1 set. Imperial Shuttle and TIE Fighters. Have the Rebels already captured and secured Tyderium? And two TIEs? Did Boba Fett track the Rebel thieves and follow them to the fleet? Why don’t we see these TIEs in Return of the Jedi? So many questions! The Rebel Transports Rebel Transports are the backbone of the fleet. They carry supplies and mobile bases the ragtag group of freedom fighters can put up anywhere in the galaxy. Close Quarters. A 90 meter long transport flying side by side with the flagship and being utterly dwarfed. Enjoying the View. The Transport captain is probably thinking the Princess is waving at him from the viewport of the Frigate. Side by Side. The Rebel transports have very limited armaments, thus each transport is escorted by two X-wings, piloted by the elite Rouge Squadron. Containers. Each transport features dozens of containers. I have made sure that each transport features a specific container configuration – they can’t all transport the same stuff :) Details. Besides the container configuration, each transport features unique detailing. Having three carbon copies of the same ship is boring and by adding different detailing to the ships, each craft gets its own storied life. To sum up Building this fleet has been a challenging experience. It has been frustrating at times, but also very rewarding. Thanks to all the comments and feedback from all of you who commented on the various ships, and thanks to the EB staff for the shoutouts! I leave you with one last shot: Rebels in Space! As always, please let the comments fly!

[MOC] Rebel Munitions Speeder (& Crane)

"We got two hours to load those bombers! Move it!" -Rebel ordinance supervisor The Rebel Munitions Speeder is a ubiquitous repulsorlift vehicle within the hangers and warehouses of the Rebel Alliance. Designed to cart cargo and personnel efficiently around Rebel bases, it's equipped with a primary wedge-shaped speeder that is controlled by a single driver and can hold a 3x4 crate in its bed, two pilots or technicians on the side, and is used to pull cargo carts behind it (in a similar way to a train). Although the amount of carts being pulled varies, it usually maxes out to three or four for efficiency reasons. Although more can be added, this would require additional puller speeders, and I have not made one with a connection at both the front and back- though it wouldn't take much to modify one. The carts being pulled can carry pilots to their craft, soldiers to ships or assembly points, cargo to various locations, and munitions to be loaded or stored; they're also equipped with clips to hold chains or tethers, and the side panels can be lifted up to help access the repulsorlifts or be raised to form a small bridge. SW Rebel Munitions Speeder #1 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr SW Rebel Munitions Speeder #2 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr SW Rebel Munitions Speeder #3 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr The bomb rack is the same as the one in the 2016 Y-wing, just recolored. SW Rebel Munitions Speeder #5 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr With the bomb rack as a basis, I designed a similar missile rack. Although not shown in this picture, you can fit three more missiles in between the four shown here. In addition, the pinhole brick is there so this can be laid down on a bed of some speeder 'truck' via a stud, or swing from a technic pin; the modified tile on top is there for a similar purpose, being either clipped into place, or being hung from a hook- this is all to give some more options. SW Rebel Munitions Speeder #4 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr Although not technically part of the 'set', the crane was developed alongside the munitions speeder, and is meant to be used in conjunction with it. This was originally just an enlarged version of the crane from the 2016 Y-Wing set, with it later being changed to fit my tastes, and using parts from two of those cranes. This repulsorlift vehicle is fairly quick, and has two arms. The secondary arm in the back can be made bigger, though this may necessitate a redesign; currently it's used to pull things behind it or hang small things off its hook to be hauled around. The modified tile on the back arm can be detached and used to both move weapon racks on and off the cargo carts, as well as move astromech droids up into starfighters. SW Rebel Munitions Speeder #6 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr SW Rebel Munitions Speeder #7 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr Here's some rough pictures of the munitions speeder and the crane. "Many Bothans died to bring us this information" Hello there, I proudly present to you my MOC "Home One Briefing room" It has been on Flickr for a bit now, but hadn't gotten around yet posting it here. Hope you enjoy! Home One Briefing Room by TWP., on Flickr Quite satisfied how this one turned out. Was a fun little MOC to do, some of the angles really gave me a headache, but it worked out in the end. In real life the gaps are less then they make it seem in the picture actually! I'm not really happy how the table turned out, but I consider this a nice practice MOC anyways for when I'll build a bigger Home One room Some detailed shots: Home One Briefing Room by TWP., on Flickr Home One Briefing Room by TWP., on Flickr Without figs: Home One Briefing Room by TWP., on Flickr A bit more pics on my Flickr. [MOC] Rebel Scorpius Mk II

"The Mark I was a stopgap; the Mark II is a workhorse." -Rebel Alliance Officer I'm back with the Scorpius line of Multi-Role Vehicles, this time with the Mk II. I am working on a Mk III, though I don't know if I'll finish it or not; and even if I did, there probably won't be a Mk IV as there's only so much I can do with one overarching deign. Another point is that this is the largest version I was reasonably able to make with the bracket construction. As a result, there is a weakness in the 'tracks' area, as the main connection points between the sides and the bottom/chassis is at the front and the back. The versions with seats and/or equipment crossing the middle also help with the problem; this means that the Mk IIC is the weakest structurally (this makes a little sense in context). As opposed to the original Scorpius, which put everything on what was essentially the same hull/chassis, the Mk II's four different variants have noticeably different makeups, while still adhering to the same general design style. Sidenote- each variant (mainly the pictures) will be put into a spoiler section to try and minimize the size of the post. The first (and base) version of the Mk II is the Mk IIA, which functions as a standard (medium) armored vehicle. This version is the most versatile, being able to carry troops or cargo while still functioning in its main role as a front line combatant. The modularity of the Scorpius line is expanded in the Mk II, with the 'A' model having twice as many attachments as the Mk I, as well as multiple different configurations for its secondary armament. While some of these attachments are the same (or otherwise larger/upgraded versions of the previous ones), there are some new ones; a few of the attachments were thought of for the Mk I, but were deemed to be too big and therefore implemented on the Mk II. Another advantage of the Mk II is the fact that all of the attachments can be taken off and put in fixed positions (or turret emplacements) if need be, such as in the case of needing to quickly create fortifications. The second variant, the Mk IIB, is a 'Command & Communications Vehicle' that can be used to either coordinate Rebel forces (whether other Scorpii or not) or function in the Electronic Warfare role. The secondary armament is lighter to compensate for the increased weight of the sensor equipment and other additions. Powerful sensors were installed, and while both of the rear positions had their specialization, they could operate in the other's role in a secondary capacity during emergencies (with some modifications). Due to its sensitive nature and lack of heavy armament, the design focuses on survivability, with increased armor protection as well as canister launchers that can create smoke clouds to facilitate escape. The third variant, the Mk IIC, is a troop/cargo carrier; the gunner's position is removed and the main armament is replaced with manned turrets. Although these turrets are a bit exposed, the turrets can also be remotely activated by the driver. There are two versions of the Mk IIC, a lighter and heavier version, though both function in the same role. The two turrets that the 'C' model is equipped with is one with a Heavy Repeating Blaster, and one with a pair of twin missile launchers (as well as a communication array). The final variant, the Mk IID, is a Self-Propelled Gun/Artillery; the gunner's position is enhanced, and a Sensor Operator position is added right behind. As with the CCV, the Mk IID has a lighter secondary armament (and canister launchers), in this case to compensate for the larger main armament. This variant has a crew of four- a driver, a gunner, a Sensors Operator, and a spotter; the commander of the vehicle can either be the spotter or the Sensors Operator. Some 'D' models operate without the fourth crew member, and instead carry one or two 2x2 boxes. This is a decently sized vehicle, and as such it would fit the main spot in a battle line; the Mk I would be more of a scout or escort, while the Mk III (if ever finished) would be more of a support/assault/breakthrough vehicle. If you'd like to see a Mk III or not, say so (design suggestions would be welcomed as well). If you want to build these for yourselves, here's the instructions: Scorpius Mk IIA - https://drive.google.com/open?id=1WIH1HYCXpS7h2m0WsNKKExUv2-SIxYzy Scorpius Mk IIB, C, & D - https://drive.google.com/open?id=13pjbkONitA_VE1z-zBAMXfB0mM5-0dy2 As always, any feedback would be much appreciated!

    [MOC] Yavin IV Rebel Base

Here's my rendition of the rebel base at Yavin IV's Massassi temple. I was working from the sketch model as an inspiration from the DK Star Wars Lego: The Visual Dictionary from 10 years ago. This one isn't as big or fancy, I didn't make the exterior of the temple with quite as many radial outcropping as the 'real' one and instead opted for a simpler, square-ish approach. But getting all the important locations in there was key - briefing room, command center with map of Death Star approaching, medal ceremony hall and of course the trooper from Alderaan in the watch tower.

    [MOC] Officer's Speeder

This isn't much of a MOC, but I think it fulfills a needed role. This floater/speeder was made for the purpose of ferrying dignitaries or other high ranking personnel around bases. While not a combat vehicle, it can operate in an observational role. Two fairly powerful thrusters can propel the floater out of danger or to its destination quickly, while its two cargo boxes contain macrobinoculars and blaster pistols for the occupants' use (either in self defense or in support of others). While not intended as one, this vehicle can be easily converted into a light cargo hauler; this would supplement the sometimes overtaxed Rebel vehicles in moving around supplies and material. [MOC] Scorpius Mk IB & C

Usually for something like this (i.e. a derivative of a design) I would put the other versions in the same post as the original, but in this case I only thought of doing a modification of my Scorpius MRV while I was working on its successor. After I went through that design, I went back and retroactively built the following versions of the original. Think of these additions as something akin to the Creator X-in-1 sets; in this case, a base model and the subsequent retooling that the Rebels did to add even more versatility to their arsenal. Here's the Mk IB-1; it's essentially the same as the 'A' model, although it would allow a commander/officer to stand in the middle. SW Scorpius Mk IB-C #1 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr Next is the Mk IB-2, the Communications/Electronic Warfare vehicle based off the Mk IB-1. SW Scorpius Mk IB-C #2 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr After that is the Mk IC-1, the troop/cargo carrier. Although not very effective due to its small size, it can still fit three 2x2 boxes, or up to three soldiers comfortably (you might be able to stuff a fourth in if they were standing up, but three is advisable). In addition, the tail mounted blaster cannon is operated by the pilot/driver, however it can be put on a lower mount so that the soldier in the back can man it; this blaster cannon is also meant to be removed if necessary (being taken by the soldiers to use in an attack). SW Scorpius Mk IB-C #3 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr Last is the Mk IC-2, a slightly bigger version of the Mk IC-1. This can hold four boxes, or up to four soldiers (as before, you might be able to stuff an extra one in). [MOC] Scorpius MRV

"Have a problem? Just MRV it!" About a year ago, I got the Jawa battlepack (mainly to get a 'new' astromech for my rebel forces). I promptly scrapped the sandcrawler for pieces, mostly to help build my Bluecoat gunboat. This still left me with some Technic liftarms and and quite a few 1x2 brackets. I decided to use them to create a Rebel vehicle, specifically some kind of crane to lift astromechs into the my Y-Wings. It was only after I had built it that I came to realize it didn't exactly fit the role right, and so I added a couple of heavy blaster cannons to make it into a sort of combat recovery vehicle. I also wasn't exactly sure if I should label it a speeder or a tracked vehicle, or some kind of combination of both (though I am sort of leaning towards the last one). Even after this, I still wasn't completely satisfied, and so I went ahead and adapted it into a full-on combat vehicle with some light blaster cannons. I really warmed to the idea since my Imperials had multiple heavy and light vehicles, while the Rebels only had a couple of speeder bikes for any battle scenario. Going with the idea that the Rebels were resourceful and seemingly modified the living daylights out of everything, I went ahead and started other attachments. I couldn't make anything big, but I wanted to make sure the Rebels had some kind of decent firepower. Thus the Scorpius Multi-Role Vehicle was born. Originally, I called it the 'Scorpio' (for various reasons, but of course mainly for the shape), though I settled on 'Scorpius' because I wanted 'Scorpio' to be the label of a more 'real world' MOC. The heavy blaster cannons can be replaced with missile launchers [spring shooters] or grenade launchers [stud shooters] for various configurations, though I feel that the original configuration is the better one. SW Rebel Scorpius MRV (Multi-Role Vehicle) #1 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr The quad-blaster cannon is probably my favorite attachment. It can be folded up for storage, and is great for an anti-infantry or anti-aircraft role. SW Rebel Scorpius MRV (Multi-Role Vehicle) #2 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr I kind of feel that the missile launcher is a bit clunky, but I also think it's the best I could do for the small size requirement. I started with something similar to what's on the 2015 Hailfire droid, and then went through a few iterations before settling on the final one (I thought that the one where I had the launchers attached to the sides of the mount looked the best, but it was impractical because of the above size requirement). I also considered a Calliope style launcher, but again, it would be too big. SW Rebel Scorpius MRV (Multi-Role Vehicle) #3 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr For the various weapons attachments, I made a goal to make sure I had at least three types- a blaster cannon, a missile launcher, and some kind of ion weapon. The main reason is force distribution (an ion weapon would kind of even the playing field a bit). This actually stumped me for a while, as any ion gun I could think of would be way too large- indeed it would be more of an artillery piece/base defense turret than anything that could feasibly be placed on anything smaller that an AT-AT or a ship. I looked up some ion cannon turrets, and decided to use the NX-7 as inspiration, as it was (or at least looked) kind of small. The result of that effort became the Imperial version; I redesigned it a bit, and ended up with the below as the final product. SW Rebel Scorpius MRV (Multi-Role Vehicle) #5 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr Finally, we have the original attachment: an electromagnetic crane. This can be folded up as well, even when attached to the rest of the build. SW Rebel Scorpius MRV (Multi-Role Vehicle) #4 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr And here's just some rough shots of a Scorpius ambushing an Imperial Cargo Speeder. 18. Everything about the YT-2400 here : http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/YT-2400_light_freighter I'm planning a rebel fleet at the 1:250 scale, starting with small fighters and freighters and hopefully one day building the gigantic Nebulon B frigate mortesv designed (a fleet needs a flagship right ?). Browsing around I found this nice little freighter from the corellian shipyards, with some clear similarities with the iconic Millenium Falcon. It is supposed to be around 22 meters large, which I converted to approximately 12 studs. So here you go, just a Stud.io render for now but i will probably be able to build it and make some pictures in a couple of months. Front : Back : Scale comparison with an X-Wing : Note : the cockpit should be the falcon's printed cockpit (98100pb05) which doesn't seem to be available in Stud.io I'd very very happy to share the .io file with anyone interested in building it, and of course feedback is very welcome :) Cheers,

    [MOC] Millennium Falcon

Edit: MOC Update: (December 2017) Check the updated album here: https://imgur.com/gallery/1Zam9 Hi There This is my first post here.. errr topic , and it will be about my MOC. Nothing really fancy here, i just want to have a bigger Falcon to sit down with my UCS Slave 1 (which i haven't build yet). Since the UCS Flacon is out of reach, i decided to create a bigger falcon out of 2 system scale falcons (75015) plus some extra bricks. My Goal is to make it similar to the system scale but bigger, meaning it should have an interior. Here it is: It is a bit smaller than the UCS version.. i think.. but almost the same scale as the UCS Slave 1.. i think.. I want to detail the underside, but my wallet said no. Sorry for the bad pictures!

    [UCS] U-Wing Rebel Transport

Update 22/11/17 Project abandoned, LDD file here for anyone interested: https://www.dropbox.com/s/wwc7v3p2s2yep72/UCS UT-60D Rebel Transport.lxf?dl=0 Welcome everybody, After recently seeing Rogue One, which is an amazing film, I decided to redesign my U-Wing and make it UCS by recommendation of @brobert as it wasn't very accurate. I have managed to get the model to approximate minifigure scale. The cockpit can accommodate two pilots and the cargo bay around 10 troopers. I am pleased that I have managed to keep the sleek aerodynamic look, as that was my original goal that I set out for myself. For the sliding doors, I have mainly kept TLG's design, but I have hidden the function almost completely as theirs is clearly visible. The wings do swoop back, however, I was having difficulty rotating them on LDD so I do not have any images. Hopefully, I will fix this issue!I have also used their UCS Y-Wing stand as I thought it suited my model well. There is not a transparent piece/cockpit large enough for the bottom of the ship, so I used four transparent 6180s instead. My design is made up of 888 bricks, which is not a great amount for a UCS set. However, this is because there are a lot of big bricks throughout the model. This MOC surprisingly only took 5-6 hours to create. It would not be a UCS Star Wars ship without greebling, so I have included this at the rear next to the engines. The only noticeable issue with the model is the lack of the cannons at the front of the ship, I will incorporate this at some point Please give me your suggestions, so I can improve my model, as this is a work in progress. Thank you for reading! Kind regards, Ellis.
  22. LOTHAL SYSTEM, LOTHAL. SENTINEL BASE, ONE STANDARD DAY BEFORE THRAWN'S ARRIVAL... Holo transmission between Governor Tarkin and Emperor Palpatine... Emperor Palpatine to Tarkin: Governor, I received a report on a series of attacks by Phoenix Squadron on Sentinel base. Is this true? Tarkin: My Lord, the report states the truth. Palpatine(angrily): I expected better than this. You should have eradicated them by now, instead of being attacked Governor. Tarkin: But my Lord, the attacks were unexpected, and... Palpatine: Spare me the excuses Governor, I see that you are unfit for the task at hand, that is why I am sending Grand Admiral Thrawn to assist you. Tarkin(protesting): But your Lordship, I can handle this task without need Palpatine: Silence Governor! Perhaps I should send Lord Vader instead. Tarkin(afraid): There is no need my Lord, Grand Admiral Thrawn will be enough. Palpatine(pleased): Then so it shall be, Governor. I expect the situation to be resolved soon. Tarkin(very unhappy): Yes my Lord TRANSMISSION END SENTINEL IMPERIAL RESEARCH BASE ON LOTHAL, MISSILE RESEARCH DEPARTMENT, PRESENT TIME.... STAR DESTROYER CHIMAERA, CURRENTLY ORBITING LOTHAL. Assigned by Emperor Palpatine to aid Grand Moff Tarkin in defending the highly important missile base on Lothal, Grand Admiral Thrawn, along with his star destroyer, the Chimaera, have finally arrived in orbit around the planet. Boarding his shuttle, the Grand Admiral is prepared to crush the local resistance, also capturing key members part of Phoenix Squadron. The Lambda shuttle began it's landing procedure as it approached the landing pad. Shortly after landing, Grand Admiral Thrawn emerged from the shuttle, escorted by his usual security detail. Gazing around the airfield, Thrawn spotted troopers rushing to put out flames from the shield generator and the fuel tanks. Tarkin(unpleasantly,to Thrawn): Welcome Grand Admiral, to Sentinel base. We are honored by your presence. Thrawn(to Tarkin): Thank you Governor. Tell me, is there something troubling you? Tarkin(surprised): No, not at all Grand Admiral. Thrawn: We shall get to business then. Tarkin: Yes. Recently, there were a series of rebel attacks on our missile research base. Thrawn(Interrupting): So I heard. Tarkin(angry at being interrupted): Fortunately our defenses were enough to stop them from destroying the launch pad. The Emperor is very displeased. Thrawn: So that's the reason the Emperor assigned me here. Perhaps you can show me a few holo recordings of the attacks. Tarkin(unhappily) : Yes, we captured most of the attacks on the hidden holo cams as well discovering a phoenix insignia burned on a wall. Thrawn: Show me. Leading the Grand Admiral to the missile launch pad, Tarkin showed Thrawn the massive phoenix shaped burn on the wall. Thrawn: Interesting... After leaving the missile pad, Thrawn went to his new office in the research complex. Studying the holo recordings, a smile creeping onto his lips, Thrawn finally understood the motive of the rebels and their true target. Reaching for his comlink, he called Tarkin to his office. Tarkin: Yes Grand Admiral? What is it? Thrawn: Governor, I believe I have discovered the true target of the rebels. Tarkin: Really? What is it? The missile launch pad! That's their target! I will tighten the security there immediately! Thrawn: As I expected. You fell for their ruse. Tarkin: If it isn't the missile, then what is their target? Thrawn: Think Governor. The rebels obviously found the location of the missile. If they wanted to destroy it, the lab would be rubble by now. The attacks were a ruse to make us loosen our security in the laboratory so they can steal the technical readouts of the missile. Tarkin: So do I need to double the security in the lab? Thrawn: No Governor, still, prepare your troops. Tarkin: If I shouldn't tighten the security, why prepare my troops? Thrawn: I assure you Governor, if you listen to me, the rebels will be captured by the end of the day. Tarkin(Questioningly): Okay? So I'll follow your lead then.Thrawn: Good. Bring in some shadow guards as well, Governor. Tarkin : Why? Thrawn: I got a feeling that there will be Jedi present at the attack. RESEARCH LAB, COMPUTER TERMINAL, NEAR THE LAUNCH PAD, EIGHT STANDARD HOURS AFTER THRAWN'S ARRIVAL... HISSSSS... As the cut metal was pushed aside, Ezra Bridger, Kanan Jarrus, Sabine Wren and several troopers entered the laboratory. Ezra: Now that's easy. Sabine: The imperials don't seem to have even tightened their security. Trooper 1: Lieutenant, we found the technical readouts. Ezra: Extract them. Let's hope our luck holds out. Kanan: Be quick. I sense a trap. As the trooper extracted the technical readouts of the missile, the lights suddenly turned on and two squads of stormtroopers ran in, blasters drawn as well as two Shadow Guards and their Shadow Troopers. Grand Admiral Thrawn and Governor Tarkin soon entered the lab, escorted by Senate Commandos. Ezra: Thrawn! Tarkin: Ezra Bridger, Sabine Wren and Kanan Jarrus, you are under arrest! Ezra(angrily): How did you know we are attacking the lab? Thrawn: I noticed that you found the missile launch pad, yet you did not destroy it.Kanan: And how did you know we will be here? Thrawn: I suspect that your padawan learner left the phoenix mark with his lightsaber, to tell us that Phoenix Squadron was behind the attacks.Tarkin: Enough with the chit chat, trooper take them away! Sabine(to Thrawn): No matter how hard you try, Grand Admiral, Phoenix Squadron will always be one step ahead! Thrawn: I don't think so, rebel scum. In time, it will be I who is the victor. He watched the troopers as they led the rebels away. Tarkin: Your reputation certainly precedes you Grand Admiral. Thrawn: I'll take that as a compliment. Tarkin to Thrawn: The Emperor will be pleased. Not only did we resolve this matter, we captured two Jedi for him as well. Thrawn: Yes Governor, he will be. Also, I received a transmission form the Emperor himself. Tarkin(nervous): what did he say? Tell me! Thrawn: You are relieved of your assignment effective immediately. I am in charge of the Lothal system now and the problem of Phoenix Squadron. Tarkin(very mad): WHAAAT! Thrawn(calm): The Emperor requests you to go to imperial center at once as well. Tarkin(fuming): Oh I will! --------END-------- Pics of the mocs Made a sliding door for the big moc, got a bit stuck in the middle. here is a video
  23. Ep1 After a small time spent with patrolling and exercises all over again, we finally got an order. Most of the available troops were sent to Coruscant for a secret mission. We had not too much information about it, but we will be some sort of backup. When we arrived the main forces are already started the operation. They sent me to a team led by a shock trooper. I didn't know anything about our objective yet. I met them at one of the smaller entry doors of palace. Shock Trooper - I'm ST-0513 and I lead this small team. Our objective is to protect this Entry Door and secure to escape. We must stop any Black Sun mercs, but we must try not to kill any rebel terrorist and we didn't get permission to open fire first. Understood? Team - Yes Sir! Shock Trooper - Good. And now we moving in. One of the troopers moved to the controlling panel of the door. He entered the code number into the red display of the console and the door opened immediately. They all went in on it and it closed back. There has been nothing for a while and they just waited there. Then suddenly they heard steps approaching fast. Shock Trooper - Get ready, quietly and don't forget not to shoot first! Shock Trooper - Stop, don't Move! Put down the weapons and we don't hurt you! The door slides... And the leader of the group collapsed. Some Black Sun members arrived and they opened the door from outside and fired a shot. Then everybody opened the fire for the gang members. TG-0222 and the other two stormtrooper trying to get cover, but one of them got a shot in the back. The Imperial and Rebel troops Together were stronger and shortly they defeated all the mercs. TG-0222 - You should leave, hurry! Rebel - Thanks. Everybody go! Stormtrooper - Where are the rebels? TG-0222 - They were more than us, we couldn't stop them. End.
