    Lego Star Wars Helmets

For any one of you that has a big republic army or bucketheads, their helmets can easily damage themselves and the head of the clone trooper if left on for a long time. They can become stiff and some times even squeak when turned. And then they will become very loose! I found this situation happen quite commonly with my clone troopers but maybe not stormtroopers so much, and commander gree died because of that. The best way to stop this from happening is to store them with their helmets off as this could happen to any variant of the clone/storm trooper helmet.
  2. Hi All, I'm looking for LEGO Prototype figures/pieces (preferably Star Wars but will hear anything out) as well as any other rare LEGO items. I recognize the high cost some of these items command and am willing to pay them. Please shoot me a PM if you have any of these items are know of someone that does! Thanks, Samuel

    [MOC] Four-Towered Castle

After finishing it and creating minifigures I uploaded it to LEGO Ideas which you can find here: Four-Towered Castle It contains some extra information such as piece counts. Feel free to leave a support on the LEGO Ideas site if you like it. 3D Model view here on Sketchfab: Four-Towered Castle The Full Inside view. Note that the castle is made in a "L" shaped layout. The left/West Entrance. Notice the flaps that would allow archers/crossbowmen to fire through and take cover. The inside side of the West entrance. Entrance to the hall from the courtyard/bailey. The alchemy room. With a green substance in a flask and a chandelier below the tall ceiling. The certainly need a ladder here. A tower with a wooden hoarding around it. Crossbows are stored here. The armoury. Along with the stacked sword it has a bed for a soldier here as well. View above the towers. Better view of the catapult and the winch for raising the portcullis. Inside the shack extension. The Great Hall. Turnable fire in the great hall's fireplace. Winch which you can rotate the fire and exterior of the hall. Drawbridge Outside. Gate Inside. Chest room. Stone Sigil. Walkway. Romans with a catapult & Celtic Warriors. Upper view.
  4. So, I've recently updated my original LEGO Transformer (his name is Warhawk) and I'm happy with it, except for the head (at first it was Hero Factory Surge's head, now it's Bulk's head), which doesn't look like the head that I imagined (something akin to Optimus Prime or Soundwave). While I initially thought that the Kre-O Transformer helmets would be too big to fit, it turns out they are a well fit, so I could actually use a Kre-O fig head with a red visor (like Singe's, which I happen to own) in combination with Kre-O Optimus Prime's helmet to give the head I want him to have... but there's a problem (and I'm not talking about the issue of robbing the little adorable Kre-O Optimus of his iconic helmet): The colors don't match! The blue of my Kre-O Optimus Prime is visibly darker than the regular blue (I believe the proper name of it is "bright blue"?), so the head stands out even more than it really should. However, I do know that Hasbro at least uses in some sets also a blue that is much closer (if not outright the same) as good old LEGO blue, as the Kre-O Bluestreak I own is bright blue. Looking at the articles on, it looks like that Optimus and Soundwave were produced and released in various colorations, but it's hard to determine if any of these redecoes are in the blue that I need. After all this long explanation, it's time for me to ask my actual questions: 1) Did Hasbro ever produce the Optimus Prime (or Soundwave) helmet in a shade of blue that is identical to the regular LEGO blue? 2) If not, are there any similiar helmets in the Kre-O Transformer Line in the fitting coloration? It must have a faceplate though. 3) In either case, what's the best way to aquire Kre-O Parts? Especially if I want to make sure the parts are in excellent condition, preferably new? I hope you can help me with this rather specific request. If all else fails, I can always go for the Jango Fett helmet, but still, getting a proper Transformer helmet would be great in that case.
  5. Hi, I'm new here, and I tried a search but couldn't find anything. Anyone has made a list of "compatible" elements for minifigures? I was trying to make some "dwarf warriors", but I found only a couple helmets compatible with a beard piece, and then only with one specific beard. The helmets I found are: DWARF, HELMET, KING DWARF, HELMET, SOLDIER And they go together only with: BEARD FOR MINIFIGURE Anyone can give me some info? Is there any way to place them while keeping the beard?

    Life-size Iron Man helmet WIP

So here is a project Ive had for awhile and finally decided to share it with you guys and get some input! I originally intened to make so you could wear it, but I got halfway through and released my head was a little big in one spot. Oh well, all leave that for the second one. Here it is from the front, I used a 1 x 10 piece to create the gap between the face plate and the helmet. Helmet front view by Total BrickMaster, on Flickr And a side view, I am aware the side arent done, it is called a WIP ya' know... Helmet side view by Total BrickMaster, on Flickr Lastly a pic of the inside and the back part of the helmet a plan on finishing at some point. The red and brown plates youre seeing across the back is for stability, which I installed after my little sister (accidentally) kicked it Inside and back plate by Total BrickMaster, on Flickr life Iron Man helmet by Total BrickMaster, on Flickr One last less then dramatic close up! Thanks for checking it out, feel free to give critique and point out glaringly obvious design flaws! Peace!
