Flashover Recordings is the record label set up by Dutch DJ / producer Ferry Corsten. After being in the music business for over 15 years, Ferry started Flashover Recordings in 2005 to release new, fresh and innovative dance productions. It's a mirrored version of the 'classic fire' insignia from the early 1990s. I wonder if Corsten granted permission from TLG to use this. -
An Italian Classic Together with Gabriele Zannotti aka zanna I've been working on a scale model of a FIAT 500 for almost two years now. I've actually already made a topic on EB a while ago but the model has improved a lot since then and we also took some cool pictures of the real life model so I decided it would be appropriate to post a new thread. The model As it stands right now the model is made of 1210 pieces and has plenty of details and features to offer. The boot which is located at the front can be opened revealing the fuel tank, a toolbox and an actual spare tyre. The bonnet in the back is decorated with several custom decals depicting the various cooling vents as well as the license plate and additional details. It can be opened which allows you to see the detailed 500cc straight twin engine. Furthermore, the doors can be opened and the front seats tilted forward allowing you to access the rear seat bench. On sunny days you can also swap out the closed sun-roof for the opened variant. Hello, I had a desire to make a "classic spaceship". And having 75176 Resistance Transport Pod it looked like a good start to make a spaceship. Then getting 70821 Emmet & Benny's 'Build & Fix' Workshop! And using at least one of my 70841 Benny's Space Squad I have most of the spaceship. But then finding a extra 70660 Spinjitzu Jay for cheap I threw him in to the set. I am saying Jay stoled the spaceship from Benny because Benny was the original pilot. The next thing you are wondering why is it called the "Mini-Beetle" first it kinda looks like a bug, second the inside reminds me of a minivan, and I couldn't think of a better name. Now for the action shot. As you can see the ship has (two photon launchers on top of the ship with two ion cannons in the front of the ship. Plus, it has a single distortion drive (you can see the space "warp" in the back). With two sub light thrusters for the extra mobility. Ok, now for the rest of the pictures. I originally got this basic model from a page on Bricksafe by user @sed6 as seen here. I revised the freight door to be movable, changed the roof color to dark red from black, building color to sand green from tan, plus I added a "cast iron" heating stove and it's chimney flue to the model for late-1800's period look. This station will go along with my western stuff on my layout as seen in this topic here. The platform side of the station. There is plenty of outside seating on both the left and right sides, yet they are still under the roof awning to be protected from rain. (three seats per side) The model features the separate entry doors to the station premises for cargo and people on the both the street and track sides. Inside we have the freight area (on the left) and the passenger area (on the right) with a connecting door between the two. The passenger section also has the heating stove which currently is keeping the coffee hot. (or is it boiling the water for tea?) This part of the station also has three inside seats for weary passengers and a cash register for ticket dispensing. The station is modular, and comes apart in four sections: - Left platform end - Right platform end - Station roof - Station building I was originally going to build the Disney station in blue, but the projected price was out of my budget, so I settled for this one. This is is just as good, if not better, because everybody's got a Disney station now, but nobody but @sed6 has one of these custom depots. Hi to all pirate friends , i just finish one more creation that inspire me from the lovely set Sabre Island. I just want to make something modern but with some old details like the original set of lego. I didnt want to make a tower with so much details and architecture tricks but with clear lines. This moc is one more creation that i love to have with ny other moc pirates creations and reminds me the gold season of lego sets..!!

I'm looking at 11005 and 11004 from 2019 as a potential source of getting parts for cheap. However, they seem to have too much variety/colors, while the quantity of each colored part is really low - like 2 or 4 max. I know they could be good for kids who start to get into Lego... But what do you guys think? Are you buying these for parts?

Hello all! One of my projects for the last couple of months has been recreating the wide variety of Rebel Fighters which were involved before and during the Battle of Yavin (as well as a ship or two from my own headcanon). And now, I have at least enough to confidently share a few of these things with the folks of EB. Keep in mind, my goal is not accuracy to the real ships but rather accuracy to the style of LEGO playsets from 2004 to 2007. While these ships do occasionally make use of pieces from beyond this time, my primary goal was to retain the LEGO look from around this time while also including the main color and shape features from the real ships. This was made possible thanks to some incredible MOCs, which I will credit as they appear. Let me know if you'd like closer shots of any of the models, and feel free to give me any pointers or suggestions. :) To start with, the surviving members of Red Squadron: Red Two and Red Five are primarily based on their retail counterparts (from sets 6212), with the colors altered to reflect their film appearances ever-so-slightly. For example, the solid red stripe on Red Two as opposed to the broken one on Red Five, and a few general differences in details. The studio models all had little differences between them, and LEGO makes that easier to achieve. Next, the surviving member of Gold Squadron (and friend): While the basis of this model is (obviously) the 7658 Y-Wing, I was mainly inspired to color-match it to the 10134 UCS set and remove the rather lackluster (IMO) play features. This included swapping out many parts and adding quite a bit of additional greebling, particularly on the back (where the play features interfered with detail the most). As well as the "standard" version, I also created a version with a great deal of different greebling and coloring to represent the legendary "Red Jammer" studio model. Instead of a member of Red Squadron, this tricked-out version in my mind belongs to Princess Leia. Here you can not only see some of the difference in details, but also a peak at my Blue Leader model-- again, based on the legendary prototype studio model, this time representing the elusive Blue Squadron. Like how the studio model eventually became Red Two, the two models also share many details, but with colors again switched to represent the studio model better. These representatives of Green Squadron (Green Leader, Green Three and Green Five) take their inspiration from a variety of sources. Rebels, various fan-models, and some other fan resources. Once again I tried to give them some individual identity with use of different colors and switched-out greebling, especially evident on the differences between Green Leader and Green Three. These two R-22 Spearheads (belonging to Red and Blue Squadron) are primarily based on 6207, but with a few notable changes to bring them in line with the commonly-agreed Spearhead look, mainly concerning the afterburners and the side cannons. When (eventually) I build these, Blue Six will get some decals to represent the detailing from Ralph McQuarrie's concept art. Red Nine was colored mainly to match the appearance of the A-Wing in the droids cartoon (and other sources where the Rebel Spearheads are colored red). I must give the major props for this custom to Spectorist on Rebrickable for this U-Wing. While he developed a very nice skeleton (a hypothetical 1999-styled U-Wing), I felt it needed a considerable update to bring it in line with the 2006 LEGO aesthetic. This mainly concerned replacing the slopes with smoother pieces and replacing certain outdated parts with more modern equivalents. In the end, I'm very proud of how this turned out. The ugly-duckling H-60 Tempest Bomber was the first major stab at a ship which hasn't had much presence in MOCs. In the end, I'm happy with it, though I'll be curious to see how this holds up when it is fully assembled (I had to basically improvise the cockpits). I found TLG's Z-95 Headhunter to be somewhat unsightly, so I was happy to find this MOC from GuyDudeMan27. However, that custom had its own set of problems, including its very precarious construction. I tried to make his two-engined version work, but instead opted for the more classical four-engined variant (I am still trying to figure out the two-engined version, though. I want to take a stab at the version from Star Wars: Commander). So, what is next? I want to try and do Rebel versions of some Clone Wars vehicles, including an ARC-170. I also want to try an R-41 Starchaser, which will be an interesting stab since it has little to no MOC presence What do y'all think? Any questions or comments welcome.

Bentley 4.5l ‘Blower’ model

Hello everyone, I have built a model of one of Britains classic race cars, the Bentley 4.5l ‘Blower’, a project that was never actually approved by W.O Bentley (company founder) but nonetheless took part in the 1930 Le Mans 24hr race and French Grand Prix where it finished second behind a much more agile Bugatti type 35. Its claim to fame was not through racing victory but through its racing stories. The model has working ‘worm and wheel’ steering and a removable bonnet to expose the 4.5 litre, 4-cylinder supercharged engine. Accuracy and realism was key right from the chassis frame and the parts were spray painted to give two new green colours. Classic Space SHIP - real life (finished) MOC - Project Upsilon

This vessel, (called Project Upsilon) was Classic Space forces secret weapon against any potential uprisings of any alien, robot, or human race outside of the Galactic Space Congress. I say WAS because it's death-star level super laser was never used due to a planted Blacktron bomb sending the station and it's crew hurtling through hyperspace toward a black-hole in early 1988 during the early hours of the attempted Blacktron coup. The station was never recovered and almost all of the crew was presumed killed by the black hole except for blue astronaut Benny, who fell off the station before it reached full light speed while doing regular maintenance to the solar arrays. (Benny survived a day floating out of conciseness in orbit off Jupiter II before being found by retreating Congressional forces. He still wears the broken helmet and smudged suit from that day as a reminder of the eternal sacrifice of his fellow two crew members that were lost. He was, for a time, secretly considered with suspicion regarding the loss of the ship by rouge operatives of the Galactic Space Congress' black ops division.) Thirty-one years later in 2019, the station is found floating in the very far-off Delta quadrant of our galaxy, completely iced over. The crew are flash-frozen from that horrible day in 1988, and the main computer is barely running on emergency battery power. The clock on the computer is checked by Benny himself: over 200,000 years have gone by! (The ship went inside the black hole which deposited the ship in the very distant past via a time vortex.) The fusion reactors are restarted, and the barely-functional computer begins to wake up the two crew. Then it is discovered that a third frozen astronaut is on board in Benny's bunk, a pink one, who was not on board when the ship was blasted off towards the puncture in space / time. Who is she? Why is she there? The answers may lie inside the thawing mainframe core of the 1980's computer... Here is what I've been working on for a year or so on my computer, and more recently in real life. Overall this 101 studs long beast in real life is quite light, although it's not to easy to hold while taking a photo... I had to have another person help me with this picture as the 14 top and bottom stands that keep it level on the table don't make very good holding points for flight! The eight yellow triangular things are movable solar panels, while the cockpit seats two Classic Space mini-figures. The large super-laser emitter on the front is a Death Star-like cannon, used only in times of last resort against unfathomable enemies to the normally peaceful Classic Space fleet. (this would mean potential Blacktron, Robotron or Spyruis incursions, if it hadn't been sent into a Black Hole and time traveled back 200,000 years within minutes of first coming online in 1988.) The ship featured both a dual fusion reactor system and solar panels in eight moving segments as a backup in case of emergency as well as powering the super laser. This would prove vital in keeping trajectory equipment's backup batteries charged and cryogenic crew storage frozen solid for several hundred-thousand years.... you never know how long this station would have lasted otherwise on just fusion alone! The brand-new cockpit should seat two figures, ideally the yellow and white astronaut's from the Benny's Space Squad set. (70841) The solar panel's intense energy from even remotely nearby stars powers the super-laser. (In case you were wondering what those black-and-white pods were on the solar panel wing struts, they are small maneuvering rockets.) The rear of the ship. I was inspired to create the engine pods on the space station after seeing a older post by Flickr user Karf Oohlu as seen here. The access hatch to the inside of the station is visible at the extreme rear near the two engines. I plan on using the white, yellow, and pink astronauts for the lost classic space crew of Classic Space station Upsilon. Benny was also part of this 1988-vintage crew, but managed to loosen himself from the Blacktron-sabotaged space station before it reached the black hole whereupon it vanished, presumed destroyed, with it's crew (minus Benny, who was badly damaged but ok) assumed dead. NOTES: I would have put this SHIP (which stands for "Serious Huge Investment in Parts", in case you didn't know!) in with my other Classic Space stuff, but I think it's best to keep mini-figure scale base and this major space ship separate, as it's not meant to land on planets' surface's. Anyway, this is my first SHIP, and most likely my last one as well. EDIT: main post edited and pictures revised 9/03/19. Real life pictures added! Hello Pirates fans, Like many of you I can't stop loving the old Classic models so I wanted to rebuild this one but using modern parts, that because I wanted people, who don't own vintage parts, to be able to enjoy the model. Hi. Earlier last year I was in the middle of another MOC project and it proved to be more involved and difficult than I initially thought. So I took a break from it... and I started playing around with some LBG parts around a train motor and ended up building a Neo Classic Space Train (Spacetrain SPACETRAIN!). Because why not. It does run! There is enough clearance between the pentagonal tiles and the wheel bases for it to turn around standard Lego track radii. I've run it at public shows, although it is quite heavy and only has one motor in it for now, so its top speed is a bit limited. I might add another motor at some point to speed it up, but I've been busy on other MOCs instead! Larger resolution photos are on flickr. Hope you enjoy it! Hello Fellow Lego Fans. Recently I designed a unique MOC, a classic Lego Street Sweeper that has modern features, but still give homage to the classic Lego Street Sweeper Sets including the 6645, 6649 and 7242. I researched each set, and noticed that their availability was becoming lower. So, I thought it might not be a bad idea to do an updated Street Sweeper version for Town and City builders as a possible release. Having to consider modern design aspects, I did try to "build-into" the MOC an easy conversion of the model for those wanting a more "true" town look. Likewise, in a Vintage City Theme, some design elements might not be correct for the time period. So, this design affords the ability of each interested parties to have the ability to "remove" far more than they might need to "add" to the design to make it fit their layouts. I would not consider this idea a "universal" approach as much as an "adaptable" approach. Following all of these considerations, features, and potential applications of the MOC as a kit, I also had to find a unique design that was believable, kept the parts count under control, and served as a believable "next generation" version to Set 7242. A new feature in this MOC is the use of the Lego 2441 vehicle base, which saved parts, fits modern design efforts and shows that with creativity large scale designs can be implemented on the 2441 chassis. It was an interesting challenge to try and incorporate all of these aspects into the design and still make it visually appealing. It's been ages since I last shared a MOC, so here is something I pieced together based on my fond childhood memories of Beatrix Potter's classic tales. The design is inspired from 3 of my favourite stories wrote by Potter - Peter Rabbit (1902), Jemima Puddle-Duck (1908) and Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle (1905). Hi again, Especially the Technic Fans part of this community, hosts people from almost all ages, say 9+ So, I think, this is a tough question: What do you think: Should the newer sets have more models which are: * More complex but without motor(s) and/or RC, * More complex and with motor(s) and RC, * Less complex but without motor(s) and/or RC, * Less complex and with motor(s) and RC, * Stay in the same "choice/production system by LEGO" or, * Leave the moddings/mods to the MOC creators? You may say that "it depends", you may say that "the topic is stupidly created because some are more into classic models with lots of mechanical but not motorized/RC parts, some do, so there is no definitive answer to this", BUT, I would kindly like to have your OWN thoughts. For example; I would like to see a Bugatti Chiron Set which has the same complex system, but also being able to be remote controlled and capable of reaching at least 25 km/h. Take this topic like a poll with detailed answers with intra-members-communication, as well. I hope I made myself clear. Many thanks in advance and, Best Regards, Idris -
Hi to all folks..I want to share my latest 2 mocs in one creation to complete my medieval - classic mocs scene.. Here we have one barn and one blacksmith shop. My last creations want to be playble and small sets like the lovely sets of 80s period. My barn its playble and open on the top..also have a little stable that i can match them and some old lovely minifigures.. The blacksmith have some details that i love and with one of my last moc the Red Guarded Inn takes me a lot of years back..

1967 Eleanor Mustang + Instructions

The classic 1967 Ford Eleanor GT500 was a fearsome beast in its day, with a 428 cubic inch big block rippling the pavement courtesy of an astounding 355 horsepower. It's also the car made famous as "Eleanor," Steve McQueen's awesome ride in the original 1974 movie Gone In Sixty Seconds. This is my humble tribute to the Classic Town Promotional MAERSK Truck sets 1651 from 1980 and 1552 from 1985 adjusted to my favorite 4-wide studs mocs.
