    [MOC] X0186 - Hover Train

I was inspired by Alejandro Burdisio's artworks. I made this just for fun using parts that I rarely use. the base model was my old 7wide Henschel & Sohn CP0186 it was a 9V train and it didn't have enough room to be upgraded to another motorization solution. I'm not running 9V trains anymore, so I decided to change it to something strange just for fun. I believe this belongs more here than the Train Tech, correct me if I am wrong. :) I added some non-lego lights from a Fun Whole set that I received a few months ago
  2. Lately I've been inspired by making flying cars, I had already made this taxi a few years ago in its "normal" mode I decided to give it an update with a lot of greebling, using only parts I already had without resorting to new purchases Inspirations from films like 5th element, Bladerunner and even Back to the future 2. the color scheme refers to the old taxis in Portugal, the taxi driver is a man with a sullen mustache, just like the taxi drivers in Lisbon Cyber Taxi 2067 by Sérgio Batista, no Flickr Cyber Taxi 2067 by Sérgio Batista, no Flickr Cyber Taxi 2067 by Sérgio Batista, no Flickr Cyber Taxi 2067 by Sérgio Batista, no Flickr Cyber Taxi 2067 by Sérgio Batista, no Flickr
  3. The latest incarnation of my VW Beetle MOC, in minifigure scale. Incorporating new backend shaping to assist with the difficult matter of the curves. Enjoy
  4. This hover bike was built by Squidman in 2009 as part of payment for a debt to the Skull Twins, and was one of two nearly identical space hogs. The second bike had an inverted color scheme with mostly white instead of black and was called Ivory. The bike seen in this post is called Ebony, and is the last of it's kind, as the other skull twin and his bikes were swallowed by a black hole while trying to outrun the Space Police III forces around seven years ago. The bikes features two laser weapons around the skull ornament on the nose. This three-engine hover cycle is one of the fastest bikes in the Milky Way, seconded only to legendary "Rewind 3", which went so fast it broke the time barrier. So far, it hasn't showed up again, but that hasn't stopped bookies from taking bets stretching back past the last 100 years to next millennium (or two). One of the mysterious Skull Twins... no-one knows what's under the mask, with some saying that he has no face, just soul-piercing, glowing red eyes. The Ebony bike and it's Skull helmeted driver left our galaxy for the Andromeda galaxy due to law enforcement pressure in 2011, and upon his return in 2018 found the galaxy a much darker, more sinister place with the Space police IV dictatorship in place. Due to his disappearance in 2011, this skull twin was declared dead a long time ago and is using this legal void to commit a great many crimes. (The bike was remade into it's current form using only parts from the set, with the addition of the skull twin helmet, head, dark gray pants, a 2 x 2 DBG tile, and a 1 x 2 black plate. This list obviously does not include the white mini-figure stand! ) As usual, comments, questions and complaints are always welcome!
  5. I really like the two-seater TRON Legacy light runner MOD that was made by BrickBrosUK and posted on Brickset last week. I just love it's ingenuity and style while only using parts from TRON lightcycle set (number 21314). So, I made my own version and now, it even flies with a hover car modification. (AKA fold down wheels) It may be a far cry from the blue / orange bikes that was in the set, but I think with the new printed trans-red dish from the TIE micro fighter from this year's Star Wars range as tire rims, it could be even better when built in real life. The round 2x2 tiles in red are supposed to have this print. The diamond-like pieces are the car's headlights. The rear of the car while in driving mode. This vehicle has a steering wheel, something the original alternate model lacks due to part constraints. Flight mode, with the wheels turned down. This model would fit in rather nicely with my cyber punk models, although they are not set in the TRON universe. As usual, comments, questions and complaints are always welcome!
  6. This ship is an advanced type that was built for the Futuron Corp. However, only one out of the hundreds built was ever painted green, as it was for the CEO of the company. This specific one was nicknamed the Futuron Flyer, and was used by the CEO and two of his successors, until the Blacktron III wiped out most of the Futuron forces off the galactic map. The rest of the fleet and it's personnel were put into cryo-sleep years ago and sent randomly jumping around the galaxy until such time the Blacktron menace was eradicated. The CEO at that time sent his ship with him on-board to the Galactic Council to let them have the secret call signal for the eventual return of the fleet when needed. Unfortunately, Haley's Comet intervened, crashing into the Flyer and killing the CEO, but not before he gave the code and a mission to deliver it to a local alien inhabitant. Only time will tell if it is ever delivered to it's proper destination.... This ship is actually a MOD of set 7133, Bounty Hunter Pursuit from the 2002 Star wars line. It has been repainted green and white with a Jack Stone piece used as a canopy. I lack proper Futuron figures (especially the recent green one!), so this Star wars alien fills in. I've been dying to build this ship with this cockpit piece since the Jack Stone set came out in 2003. Thanks to LDD, I have finally built it.... 15 years later! The rear of the ship has large jets on it.... why, you may ask? The ship needed an obvious means of propulsion and these spare parts fit the bill. The cockpit (which is from Jack Stone set 4653, Dump truck) opens up to reveal the ship's controls. This enigmatic figure is a native of Haley's Comet and was entrusted with the signal to retrieve the Futuron forces from hyper space after the death of the original ship's owner, the CEO of Futuron Corp. As usual, comments, questions, complaints, and suggestions are always welcome!
  7. This Space Police IV station (numbered 1138 in-universe) building is mostly from set 7498 (Police Station), except for the two fold out sections... those were my idea. The three ships are set numbers 70802 (two of these serve as patrol cars number 24 and 28) and one 70815 (displayed as prisoner transporter number 31. The main photo of Space Police Precinct 1138 and it's compliment of ships. The officers of Space Police IV station 1138 gather at the entrance for a group photo alongside Commissioner X (with red eyes) and his bodyguards. The whole model as seen from above while completely opened up on it's hinges. This section features the front entryway and staircase to the helipad level. The junk in the alleyway is from police raids / seizures. The lowest level is the lobby with chairs and receptionist desk, while the second level is for booking criminals and cubicles for lower ranking officers. (After booking, the criminals are either transferred out of to an asteroid prison somewhere in between Jupiter and Mars to await possible trial.) The third level is for the Police Commissioner X and his immediate subordinates, the detectives, while the fourth level is helipad / roof assess. This stairway module leads from ground floor all the way to the third floor, and features the illuminated helipad on it's roof. One of two stock models of set 70802, (Bad Cop's Pursuit). The fold-out weapons are quite well hidden compared to the prisoner transporters... but they are there! The two engines are OCTAN-brand fusion reactors. The car can seat one figure in the pilot seat. The fold-out weapons are normally quite well hidden on the patrol cars, in contrast to the frighteningly heavily armed drop-ships. My singular set 70815 (Super Secret police Dropship)'s hover pods rotate backwards to give the illusion of flight. (although I forgot to turn them before taking this picture!) One of the prison cells goes in the belly of the ship behind the rear door... today's prisoner is Kranxx, the former Black Hole Gang second-in-command. He is serving his six consecutive life sentences, or, in his species terms: he will be spending the next half-million years behind bars, still very much alive. (If you could call it that!) Background for the Space police version 1 -4: In the original Space Police, they were just that, a police force in space. They would round up bad guys and put them in jail to await trial. After the prisons became full and the Blacktron Wars got really close to home, they turned into a SPII, an army of police men & women ready to fight any battle any way that it took to win. After the war was over they were scaled way back in terms of power and influence. By 2007, the Space Police had been put under the control of the Universal Space Congress and turned into their third incarnation, which was basically SPI but more refined. Instead of throwing them in jail, they put them in stack-able, easier-to-maintain cyro-pods to await trial. Then the Black Hole gang (secretly under the sway of the Blacktron) arrived. They destroyed several SPIII stations, and sent many convicts free. Meanwhile, Blacktron officials officially denounced the Black Hole Gang and spread rumors of police corruption and gang / police cooperation conspiracy throughout the Congress via their agents. The SPIII were able to stop those rumors and put the Blacktron's plans in the spotlight, but at great cost. With Congress' eyes opened to the Blacktron's plan of severing the ties between themselves and it's only protectors - the Space Police- the congress gave everything they had to the police who then stopped the war by vaporizing the Blacktron home-world . Unfortunately, the all-alien Black Hole Gang led to some anti-alien polices to be installed in the Space Police, now in their 4th Incarnation. This has led to clashes between the Police and Alien Rights groups. As of January 1st 2214, The Space Police have made the Universe more like a military state under their control. Even the space congress unofficially serves them as payback for the SP saving the known universe in the war. Everyone officially denies it, but at the same time they know who pulls the strings and what will happen to them if they talk. Some people try to stop them, but they almost always disappear - another loose end severed. It is almost as if the Space Police had turned into the very thing they sought to destroy. THE END? That's all I have right now, and if you have any comments, questions or complaints, please leave them below. Thanks again for stopping by!

    The Atomic Arrow

This is my Nightline City entry for the Lego Speeder Bikes Racing League contest. The Atomic Arrow is an extremely fast speeder bike named after its dart-like shape and neon-green glow. Equipped with a gamma fusion engine, hard-light stabilizer wings, and powerful thrusters, this lean, mean, racing machine was built for speed! You can see it here racing down the Nightline City Raceway at breakneck speeds piloted by its rider Jade Lightning. [MOC] Hover Bike

I was messing around with some parts from an order of special color parts I just got from Germany the other day and I created this little hover bike. It has two main round hover pads to stay afloat and four jets for speed. the doors on the side swing open to let the driver out and there is a back part that comes down to keep him in. That's about it, really, ha ha. I haven't created real back stories for any of my sci-fi models yet and don't really plan to until I get my layout setup.
  10. Halixon had been deployed down to the ocean planet F10. The deployment shuttle dropped him onto the water surface on a Water Hovercraft. He'd use this to maneuver the vast ocean. Now, to find a small piece of land to set up a water pump... Top: Back: ------- Just a vehicle build. I would have built some water, but i don't quite have enough blue plates to set the hovercraft on. C & C welcome! Note: This is my first build in AG, so some helpful comments are appreciated.

    [M-D04] MANTIS Blockade

Location: D04 - Terrial Minor Tags: MANTIS, piracy, vehicle Job: Driver Start Log: After a rather uneventful mission on C04, I got another more exciting assignment: capturing some Kawashita vehicles and equipment. I even had the help of the drones I'd previously confiscated from Octan hands, though now they have a much more suitable paint job. They were pretty thrilled to receive an actual combat mission, and get to drive some sweet new MANTIS rigs: The MANTIS bulldozer/tank features a spinning cockpit, and opening cargo bay; the MANTIS hovercraft features hinging sections, the MANTIS motorcycle features an opening rollcage; and the Kawashita cargo truck features a working tailgate. Piston Hover Pickup Truck

Been away from building for a while; work and BF3CQ kept me all too busy. But I couldn't help myself picking up the pieces and build a Lego house something. Somehow it puts my mind at ease and makes me relaxed... Anyway, here you go, without further delay: Piston; a hover pickup truck inspired by 'Retro-futurism'. More shots can be found at my Flickr Gallery Comments and critisiscm welcome.
