    [MOC] 1400mm X-wing

Today I started a new model. I'll build it mainly using light bluish grey Technic parts. Here's a first sketch to plan Bricklink order:
  2. Hi I'm new. I'm working on some recolor/modifications to the official A-Wing (75150) and the T70 X-Wing (75149) designs. I started off using Stud.io Beta to recolor the 75150 and 75149 that I found in the LDD gallery, and that quickly evolved into some subtle modifications. What you think? Are many people on here using Stud.io? I'm finding it much more intuitive and stable than LDD. -AZiltz T-72 X-wing rev2

[MOC] Midi scale Xwing, Ywing, and snowspeeder

I made a midi-scale Xwing, Ywing, and snowspeeder with ground crew. I think they are in scale with the midi scale falcon, but I'm not sure as I don't currently own it. youtube video here- flicker album here- https://flic.kr/s/aHsm6r9Vhf

  5. The Cloud City playset from Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Backs…https://ideas.lego.com/projects/163944 I wanted to design a fun and playable set which would include the ionic scenes from the Empire Strikes Back film. The aim was to create a set that resembles the shape of the cloud city and offers a playable platform like the Death Star play set. I’m a keen Star Wars fan and as Cloud City hasn’t seen a new set since 2003 I thought I would have a go. I hope you enjoy and welcome your creative input into my project. Thanks for your vote…
  6. Hi guys, I have just finished another micro landscape in time for the Battlefront Death Star DLC. I wanted to do something different from some of the other trench run mocs I have seen and so I chose the moment Han comes to Luke's rescue and shoots down one of the tie fighters. I really like the drama in this scene and Im really happy with the way it has turned out. The inspiration for Luke's Xwing and Vader's tie came from a post by 'BEAVeR' (http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=84301) however I really wanted to get R2 in this scene and so instead of a 1x2 white tile for the nose I went for a 1x1 and added a 1x1 blue stud to represent R2 behind the cockpit. Thanks goes to 'PRAITER YED' for the idea of using knifes as the wings cannons - I think they look really effective. Originally I used BEAVeR's design for Vaders Tie but it would've meant having to paint the shields black, which I wanted to avoid and also I didn't think it looked menacing enough so I simply turned the Tie fighters wings on their side. I think Vader's Tie has a real presence in this piece now and looks like the dangerous ship that it is! Finally for the Tie's cockpits I used an Arkenstone piece from The Hobbit sets, which almost looks as though it was specially designed for micro ties! I am really happy with this MOC and would love to get your opinions and as always any advice going forward for future MOCs! (Also would anyone be interested in seeing the design process? I have some pictures of various stages of the builds that people might find interesting?)

Poe Damerons X-wing - Micro MOC

This is my latest creation of Poe Damerons black X-wing from SW7. It has previously been posted here. This version is on a small stand to present it a bit better, created for a exhibition at Star Wars days in Legoland Billund earlier this year. And again, sorry for the terribly blurry pictures... I hope you still like them... Poe's Black X-wing by Kenneth, on Flickr Poe's Black X-wing by Kenneth, on Flickr Poe's Black X-wing by Kenneth, on Flickr More pictures in my Flickr account

    Heavily Modified X-Wing

Here is our heavily modified (less than 25 original pieces) set 9493 'Friendly Wing' that we entered into Brickfair Alabama this weekend. This is the latest Firendsified Star Wars ship that we had built and was perfect as the Lego group were holding a contest for the best 'friendlyfied' official lego set, which we won. These vehicles are always well received with visitors and especially my daughter. The wings function perfectly and the minifig fits in and out of the cockpit also. thanks for looking!
