Sorry to drop this bomb to all Blacktron fans of this group, but you have to read this. The Blacktron space subtheme has been around for practically 37 years and has become one of the most popular space themes ever created. Blacktron is more than just Black/Yellow/Trans-yellow color sets with triangular logos everywhere. The theme was innovating and stablished a particular style differentiating their sets from the ones in other space themes with new features and gimmicks. And this is the point of this post. One of the most iconic Blacktron sets is their largest one. The Message Intercept Base. The base is without a doubt one of the best space sets ever released by Lego Group. However, does the base follow the special features of the subtheme? Does the base include the gimmicks found in the smaller releases? I wrote an extended explanation of this posture on my group. I have nothing against this magnificent set; in fact, I still have mine stored in a large Ziplock bag. I just wanted to share this revelation with all. Blacktron of my youth

It's a1950 piece Blacktron Base use to get information from other space factions of the Galaxy. Interrogations methods are mean and primitive. Blactron scientist found a better way to get information from unwilling astronauts. They designed a chair that hacks your memories while it makes the subject revive happy scenes from his past. Hey guys! Here's a big update of my Imperial Base on Er'Kit. This build is both an extension of my long-planned project and an online collab with my friend Noah (H2Brick). Who motivated me to do this? Well, Noah did, whose part of the collab comes very soon. It's much more vertical than mine, I'm gonna spoil you just this. :D It was so nice to do multiple whatsapp/discord building calls with Noah and give feedback to each other. Hope you like this updated version of the base. I personally see some oversimplified areas that I can improve in the future. Don't worry, I'll work on them. I'm having an exam session now and I was grinding for the past 5 days to get this done. I guess it was worth it! :D BTW. The size of the moc is 2x3 gray 48x48 baseplates now, and will be expanded (again) this year! TIE Fighter by Jerac. AT-ST by Pablo Brickasso. 74-Z Speeder heavily inspired by Luca s projects. Ok, here are some pics: Huge thanks to CTR Bricks for editing the main pic! More detail shots in a Flickr album: And here is the september 2020 edition of the collab: Imperius Unitada Ober Totallex!

Hi everyone, I wanted to complete this build a few weeks ago. Hayfever was quitte extreme this year. It almost caused a builders block. The plan was a bit different from what it has become. The Alpha Team has infiltrated the base of Ogel. Crunch is placing the explosives at the power core, which is needed for the orbs. Charge is at the lookout. Cam is at the computer, trying to find the man behind all of this. Dash and Radia are hidden. They have spotted the guards walking towards Charge and Crunch. Can Crunch and Charge hide themselves or should Dash create a diversion? For more pictures, please look into my Flickr album.

I got started on a new pirate/imperial MOC yesterday evening and thought I’d make a little tutorial as I went about how to make a SNOT (Studs Not On Top) base. This is how far I got in about 90 minutes, will post again when I make more progress. First off, credits to @Ayrlego for showing me how to make this sort of base originally with his Watermill WIP thread. ------------------- STEPS: 1. Make the shape of the base with plates. You want to end up with a 2-layer thick shape made of plates. I think it looks most natural if you only ever shift the edge border by 1 stud at a time ------------------- 2. Once you have a 2-layer plate, add a layer of bricks on top, but leave a 1 stud empty space around the edge. That’s where SNOT bricks are going to go ------------------- 3. Place SNOT bricks around the outside. On the corners, use SNOT bricks with 2 studs on adjacent sides. If you need to buy SNOT bricks in bulk, yellow ones are pretty cheap on BrickLink. When done, you’ll have a base that is 5 plates tall (2 plates + 1 brick). That 5-plate height is important, because 5 plate height is exactly the height of a 2x plate on its side ------------------- 4. Attach 1x and 2x plates to the SNOT sides. You’ll need to build up the sides with more plates to make the border transitions smoother. ------------------- 5. Place plates on top of the base, covering the SNOT bricks. This will start the visible part of your building base and also make the SNOT bricks secure. ------------------- That’s as far as I got in one 90-min sitting! I love that this SNOT base is super sturdy, which comes in handy when I'm moving it back and forth from my building area to a kid-proof storage area. I also love that imagination is the only limit when it comes to shape! Hopefully this little tutorial helps others get started with it.

Service Status: Still looking for somebody to perform this task. Hello, as the title states; I am for looking for somebody who can digitally design me a imperial base with a budget of $300 in total as well as create a list of bricks to purchase from bricklink so I can build it myself. I expect the model to be detailed, high quality, and look good. I never made any builds digitally so I'm not sure how I would be able to rebuild it from a online model but I'm sure you can help with that. Total build budget is $300. You get paid the remaining amount after cost of bricks. So for example, if the build costs $200 from the bricks, then you get $100 as payment. You may use any software as long as it can be easily reproduced physically. I think stud.io would be a good software to use as it links with bricklink to buy parts easily. Here are the specifications and features of the build. Also includes picture examples from similar MOCs and feedback on them. This document has been recently revised with more detail on 7/24, https://pastebin.com/9FDgvCRB Post here or PM me if you are interested in doing this service.

Hi all, Thought I'd share my "Nexo Space" scene. I built it a couple of months ago for New Elementary's ongoing "Nexogon" parts festival. True or not, I'd read news that the 'Lego Movie Sequel' was going to be set in space... I surmised that this would therefore be Benny's Space, Classic Space the joyous 'space' of my childhood. The Hab/Lab/Base was a structure I'd adapted from a set of spaceships I'd built as my first submission. I was way too late for Febrovery, but what kind of space scene would it be without a rover of some sort? ...and then there was the question of Benny. He'd need a spaceship! I really do hope that 'The Lego Movie Sequel' is going to be set in Benny's Space, and that the sets include more Classic Space inspired designs for vehicles... new printed classic space logos and trans yellow windscreens please! Also, New Spacemen minifigures in other colours!

It’s a 2980-piece base separated in four modules: WATCH TOWER- Observation and communication deck. It includes a working elevator to take astronauts to the top of the tower. HANGAR- Storages and gives maintenance to the ORCA, a tri-module exploration vehicle. It also has a second level where a Flyer explorer is kept and is deployed by opening the roof door. LANDING PAD- Facility used for external spaceships to reach the base. Includes the octagonal platform and a ground control unit to aid the incoming ships. It includes also a small spaceship. COMMAND BASE- Three level building used as living quarters. The first lever has four rooms used as medical a unit, sleeping quarter, workshop and lab. It also has two small garages for a small rover and a lifter mechanical suit. The second level are the recreational area and cafeteria. You wanted more? Here is my newest project! I'm doing something Lego Group never gave us in a space set. A proper SCI-FI Lander Rocket for planet colonization. The rocket carries deployable equipment to start a new colony in an unexplored new planet, A small rover, an outpost base, four cargo and an orbital communication satellite. All units to ensure the survival of the pioneer astronauts. Let us expand the imagination horizons and create something new rather than spaceships, rovers and bases. To give the new generations the joy we felt with Classic Space. This Moc takes rocket exploration to a new level! If you like this type of space colonization ideas, please give it your support!https://ideas.lego.com/profile/81f08ebb-fae9-4f04-9681-e2d545f1a898/entries?query=&sort=top

This is my Futuron city created using only 90s existing pieces. Why Lego group never made a Futuron base with a Monorail track so you could add it to the 6990 monorail set? If you like this type of designs, please take a look at my White/Black/Trans-Dark Blue group. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1421271881962817 Enjoy it!

What would happened if Blacktron 1 theme stretched all the 90s decade? The world might never know... It has a 3 section spaceship, a rover, a robot guardian, a flyer, an elevator on the back, working diagonal garage doors, 4 diferent space era baseplates and many more stuff! 1320 pieces. Only the spaceship windscreen and the hinged side panels of the spaceship were never made in those colors, but it looks so great I leave it like that. Where's the mop?

Hello, this is my latest Classic Space project, enjoy. You still love Classic Space, but you want more than just remakes of Classic Space sets? You want something new, fresh, never seen before? Here´s your opportunity to promote new futuristic designs for space sets. GAIA-72 TERRAFORMING STATION, is a dome base fully enclosed with everything the space explorers need to survive extraterrestrial environments. Its composed of a 1200 piece dome base (roughly the same amount of pieces of 10497) and a 1100 piece launch port. A perfect addition to any Classic Space collection. If you like it, give it your support and let's hope we can have this on store shelves soon.

Another Classic Space Lego Ideas project. This time is White Classic Space/Futuron Color Scheme. Kappa Notch Complex is a Space Base nestled between mountains, It´s composed of several modules or rooms connected internaly by corridors dug into the rocky mountains around a large rocket silo housing a two stage rocket designed to take a satelite into orbit in new colonizing planets. Lab, telecommunications, control panel, infirmary are among the fuctions of the modular rooms of the base. It also features a vehicle hangar and landing pad among the features of the base. NOTE: I updated the base by adding a Space Police rover and Blacktron speeder. The upgrades will be added to Lego Ideas in a month. Hello there ! Here is my first post on Eurobricks and I wanted to share with you my latest Star Wars MOC : ‘’Underground Clone Base On Kashyyyk’’ This Moc takes place during the end of the Clone Wars and represents a base that would have been dug in the deep jungle of Kashyyyk. I’ve try a lot of new and advanced building techniques for me. For all the fans of the Lego Star Wars games, there are two little details I think you’re gonna like ;) If you want a cinematic video of this MOC, here it is : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LBlj2BaSDEI Underground Clone Base On Kashyyyk by Hugo, sur Flickr Underground Clone Base On Kashyyyk (back) by Hugo, sur Flickr Underground Clone Base On Kashyyyk (top) by Hugo, sur Flickr Underground Clone Base On Kashyyyk (-2 and -1) by Hugo, sur Flickr Underground Clone Base On Kashyyyk (-3) by Hugo, sur Flickr
