    Ideas Fishing Village

So, it appears that Ideas builder RobenAnne is determined to start his own Winter Village-esque series of buildings. Starting with the one everyone's seen, 21310 Old Fishing Store, it seems like three new buildings are going to be joining it; the makings of an early nineteenth century beachfront if I ever saw one. We have The Lighthouse, The Dive Shop, and Boat House Diner. Personally, I'm looking forwards to Boat House Diner the most; it will surely be able to take pride of place in my village's docks. What does everyone think? (Couldn't upload images, but they can be found at this link;) https://www.brothers-brick.com/2018/01/08/7-new-projects-qualify-lego-ideas-review-news/

    Orient Express Thriller!

Well, here it is! My first train MOC that I've ever made, the Orient Express! Including a large Pacific class style locomotive similar to the Emerald Night, a tender, and a passenger car, I cobbled this together from several Bricklink orders and the LEGO Constitution Train Chase. ( I was very sad to take it apart, but it was for the greater good!) The passenger coach features opening doors, and I was able to put two lights into the roof, so it can light up at night! Here's the official story on this MOC: -Oh no! There's a Mummy on the Orient Express! Join dashing, adventurous Arthur Rutledge as he travels across Europe with several priceless artifacts to be delivered to the Louvre Museum in Paris. But be careful, his evil nemesis Cad Goldwater is also aboard, and will stop at nothing to acquire the relics. Will Rutledge be successful, or will the Orient Express be stopped by the nefarious plans of Cad? It's up to you! You can also see more photos of this MOC on the Orient Express Thriller page on Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/150692089@N03/albums/72157676895085431/with/31865151642/ This project is also on LEGO Ideas to support! https://ideas.lego.com/projects/162979 We would really appreciate the support! Thank you. :) A couple extra pictures!
  6. Dear Community, I'd like to introduce to you my Lego version(s) of the spaceship "Comet" (Cyberlab in France) of the 80s anime tv series "Captain Future" (Capitaine Flam in France, Capitan Futuro in Italy and (I guess) Spain). Captain Future was created by Edmond Hamilton in the 40s and became popular in Europe in the 80s when it was produced for television by a japan company. Captain Future is the hero of this series who fights enemies like the space emperor or Victor Corvo together with his crew, the shapeshifting android Otho, the robot Grag and the living brain Prof Simon Wright. He is one of the very few heroes who actually built his spaceship by himself. In summer I started building my own Version of the iconic spaceship Comet, which is 76cm Long and built from app. 2700 bricks. Captain Future's Comet (please vote on ideas.lego.com) by Prinz Toran, auf Flickr Captain Future's Comet (please vote on ideas.lego.com) by Prinz Toran, auf Flickr Captain Future's Comet (please vote on ideas.lego.com) by Prinz Toran, auf Flickr Captain Future and his Crew, the shapeshifting Android Otho, the Robot Grag and Joan Landor (designed by @MikeRyffranck, thanks mate) Captain Future und seine Crew by Prinz Toran, auf Flickr Prof Simon Wright - the living brain Professor Simon Wright by Prinz Toran, auf Flickr The Cosmoliner Cosmoliner by Prinz Toran, auf Flickr Actually building spheres was fun to do, so I also added two smaller versions to the collection. The Comet - Mini Version Comet Mini by Prinz Toran, auf Flickr The Comet - Nano Version Comet Nano by Prinz Toran, auf Flickr And I also drew the building instruction for those two. But that wasn't that much fun so I decided to leave this task for the big Comet up to the guys of Lego and I put that version on Lego Ideas. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/241d6069-b879-4d79-b50b-0257727498e3 If you like it, I would be very happy if you'd support my project (and maybe tell all your friends about it ;-) ) You can also take a look on my flickr, for Building instructions and more... Have fun Marc
  7. Blast off for adventure with the heroic crew of the Icarus starship! Greetings fellow builders and designers. I am new to your forum. My name is AJ and I am a welder, sculptor and sometimes furniture builder. Please permit me to share a photo and link to my first submission to the LEGO Ideas program: The Icarus starship from the Planet of the Apes universe. I have envisioned a combined Command, Survey, and Return Vehicle or C.S.R.V. Here is a link to the official LEGO Ideas page for my project if you would like to see more photos, read a full description, and perhaps vote your support. Electric Racer

The race car of the future :-) I originally built this for a ReBrick contest a while ago, now I'm trying to get supporters on LEGO Ideas. I hope you liked, C&C is appreciated. (Support for my Ideas project even more ;-))
  11. I'm happy to present to you my first modular building. I have put it on Ideas too, so if you like it, please support: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/106103. edit: It is now available on Rebrickable Some time ago my daughter got this Duplo set from her aunt: http://brickset.com/...ative-Ice-Cream That got me thinking I could use one of these cones for my own purposes, especially since my little one was very interested in throwing bricks across the room, instead of proper play (or maybe that was proper play ;) ). Anyway I borrowed four bricks from her (I honestly intend to give those back to her) and thought it would be nice to make a big advert out of this ice cream and make it rotate. Such an Ice Cream Parlor should have nice clientele drawn by this big sign of what's inside :) So power functions was a must. But since I was to integrate PF info a modular, why not go further and add some lights too? When I was young (long time ago...) I always liked things that moved and had lights :P so you can call it late compensation :P Later on I will present it module by module, but if you want to have a quick look at it in action, here's a video: Ok, so let's start with a view of all the modules separately: And now let's talk about the ground floor: As you can see, on the right there is the ice cream parlor with seating available inside and at the back of the building. You can buy ice cream, lemonade, donuts and coffee. The staff is taken from the Ice Cream Machine set :) I'm happy with the bench - it gave me some headache, but I wanted to have something distinctive. The lamp is also different to typical one, but it's nothing special. On the left there is an entrance to the owner's apartment. There is also a small storage room for bike. The top of it is removable for easier access, but you can get the bike in and out through the door (but it's tricky). Ok, now - the heart of the modular - the Power Functions module: All electronic components are here. That is: 1 Rechargeable battery 2 switches 3 sets of PF lights (so 6 sources of lights total) 1 M motor Of course apart from that there are also all the technic components to make it work. The motor is running the Duplo brick with a 1:9 reduction. The lights are provided for the ice cream parlor (4 of them), entrance to the staircase (1) and the apartment (1 for the table lamp seen above). My idea was to be able to control lights and motor separately, that's why I have 2 switches here. Look closely at the picture above. There are two holes for technic axles above. The one on the left is for access to the switch controlling the motor (advert). The hole on the right allows access to the switch controlling all the lights. Those go on/off simultaneously. You can't have just part of them on. That would require even more switches and there is simply no room for that. It's crammed inside already. Now, have a look at the bottom of this module where all the lights can be seen and the front of this module, which allows access to the rechargeable battery in case you need to recharge it (power cord access). Through the holes in the front section you can turn the battery on/off and change the voltage too. Now, the last two modules are the roof and the apartment of the owner. It's not much room inside - the advert required quite some space already, but it's cosy :P As you have seen already this apartment get light from the lamp on the table, which is actually part of the Power Functions module. Yes, I know the TV is kind of useless on that wall, but... hey, he wanted a TV so I gave him one :P So, how do you operate this thing? With a KEY :) and last, but not least - two pictures of it with lights on, and ambient lights off: Full gallery is available on my Bicksafe: http://www.bricksafe...ce_Cream_Parlor I hope you enjoyed this little presentation. Please consider support on Ideas: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/106103

    Choosing a set

Hello. I'm new here so hopefully this is the right place for this topic. I've been wanting to get an advanced build type of set and have had my eye on the modular buildings for a few years now. I happen to have some spare cash so that I can finally get one. But of course deciding is proving rather difficult. Looking at just modular buildings it came down to three for me: Parisian Restaurant, Detective's Office, and Brick Bank. I'm leaning towards Parisian Restaurant, partially because it is the most aesthetically pleasing for me, but also because it has been out the longest, so will probably be retired soonest (am I right?). But the recent release of Old Fishing Store has me thinking about that set as it looks very nice too. Not to mention Destiny's Bounty. I know totally not in line with the others but still a very cool set. Thoughts?

    Lego Ideas Theme

Hi everyone! This is my first post, so please bare with me... I would love to make a model for Lego Ideas, but need a good theme; idea. Maybe have any ideas? I would like a theme; idea that the Lego community in general would like. Something that can earn a lot of support. Maybe some old theme that I can redo, or maybe even something totally new. It should also be something that wouldn't have a lot of copyright issues, etc. so that it wouldn't be to hard for the Lego Group to actually pass it through if it ever got 10,000 supporters. Thanks, I'm looking forward to hear your thoughts...
  14. Hello, everybody! We are Nikita and Polina from Moscow. We present our project at LEGO IDEAS! KIOSK NO 2 Britain's first red Telephone Box Although we live in Russia, we are big fans of England. We have all LEGO sets associated with the country, the Beatles' one as well. The only thing that we were always in need of was one of the prominent symbols of England – the Red Phone Booth. We do hope that you will enjoy our rendering of this amazing and legendary art-object and it will become a new set and a successful part of the history of Lego. Please support our project! Thank you all!

    Classic Space Mobile Laboratory

First of all, greetings! I'm new here, I'm polish fan of LEGO and other toys, mostly Transformers and other action figures. I'm slightly reckonisable among polish YT toys community thanks to my polish toy reviews on channel called "Benny's Plastic World". I'm also fan of SW, comic book heroes, giant robots, Discworld, cartoons and other nerdy stuff. As the Afol I'm mostly fan of the old castle and space themes, and also Bionicle and other construction figures. Today I would like to present you my space MOC, an homage for Classic Space series. Mobile Laboratory is a three part model, each you can play apart, or attach them together. There is vehicle on treads, laboratory itself and the platform with the little mech suit. The staff contains three classic space astronauts and a little robot. Vehicle has movable radar and the locker with tools. Laboratory has openable door and roof, movable chair for the minifig, some computers and the second locker. Mech suit is pretty posable with ball jointed legs and feet and bendy like arms. Also, each astronaut has his own cup for tea or coffie :) More photos on my tumblr blog with tag "classic space" - https://bennyplasticworld.tumblr.com/search/classic I submitted this MOC for LEGO Ideas. If you like it I would appreciate your support! - https://ideas.lego.com/projects/486f4782-27cf-4a30-a440-d16fbd08b828
  17. Hi everybody, I'm new here (link to my presentation), and to introduce myself to all of you I'd like to share some of my creations. Some of you may already have seen the mods I showed early today in the SW forum, but now I'd like to show something completely original, and probably my favourite digital moc so far. I am a lover of the Winter Village Creator Expert series and I decided to create something myself to expand my town. I thought that in the winter village line were missing a market to feed the poor cold minifigures, so I started LDD and I created a small grocer! The name clearly isn't casual. I decided to make a tribute to the famous modular building, the green grocer, and working with this idea in mind I realized some details in a similar way to the original building! I leave to you the game to find all the similarities! I haven't actually built a real model since some parts are not existing in the colors I choosed, but I guess in the future I will find a solution to replace them. Those are some renders I made: Winter Green Grocer by SpaceBrick, on Flickr winter grocery stairs by SpaceBrick, on Flickr winter grocery well view by SpaceBrick, on Flickr My goal was to create something similar to the existing winter sets, so the Grocer isn't so big in terms of pieces (around one thousand) and is completely open on the rear, just like the Toy Shop or the Santa's Workshop: Inside Winter Green Grocer by SpaceBrick, su Flickr inside winter grocery 2 by SpaceBrick, su Flickr inside winter grocery upper floor by SpaceBrick, su Flickr The ground floor is the actual shop, the first floor is a sort of a warehouse and a office for the grocer's owner. The roof is quite simple by choice, in this way is more similar to the other winter buildings. Outside there are a couple of more details. There's a well, a snow covered tree and a lamp, that always come with Lego winter sets! I also created some minifig to complete the scene, in particular there are the shop owner, a customer and a mailman, useful to deliver new daily supplies. winter grocery well 2 by SpaceBrick, su Flickr Winter Green Grocer accessories by SpaceBrick, su Flickr I submitted this project also to Lego IDEAS, and it has been selected in those days to appear in the Staff Picks in the Ideas homepage.I honestly do not think that the project will go much further, because unfortunately winter village is not a click-catcher theme, but if you like my project I leave here a link to the related page: WINTER GREEN GROCER If you wanna take a look, in the page there are also a few updates where I tried to combine more than one shop, just like that: LEGO Summer Green Grocer - double, tiled roof by SpaceBrick, su Flickr And this is it, I hope you enjoyed my modest moc! Thank you for watching, if you like my creation please leave a comment!
  18. Hey guys, I'm looking to start a UCS scale star wars project but I don't know what to build? I've looked and almost all the ships, vehicles...anything, has already been done either as a Moc or an official Lego set. I'm planning to make instructions for this once I'm finished and sell them for quite cheap (Probably around $5 CAN) so if anyone can give me an idea that I end up doing, when I have the instructions I can give them to you for free. I just need some help finding the perfect Star Wars "Thing" to UCS. (Sorry, I'm using UCS as a verb...rip) Thanks!

    Witch's Tower!

Today I present to you the Witch's Tower It is home to a witch as one would guess. It is a model of 917 bricks ( but most of those are quite small ones) ans has a footprint of around 16 studs by 24 but the majority of that is the landscaped surrounds with the tower it self having a footprint of around 12 studs by 10 studs and the whole model reaches a height of 22 and a third bricks tall (a height of near 25 studs tall) This model is on Lego ideas (ha you probably saw that coming from a mile off) and could become a unique new castle set with your support. Whilst it is gear more to display over play it does still offer both and features a selection of removable furnishings to allow the tower to be used as you see fit. I feel that the project fills a need of medium sized castle sets (and goats) that the Lego company are currently lacking.Whilst my focus was on the exterior I was adamant to give the set a decent interior which is absent in most Lego sets in the medium range. This is my first Lego ideas project thanks for viewing. :) please share and support the project if you'd like to see it as an official Lego set. More images are available on flickr and the lego ideas page. Have a great day~AgentKallus of Hydra Sorry for most of the text turning into flickr links that was not my intent any way here is the link to the project. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/541647dd-e945-4887-8eed-f5e773a547d5

This is my LEGO Ideas The Flintstones set proposal HERE I have over half the votes needed for LEGO to review it. Larger and more images HERE Beyond The Brick interview showing physical build HERE The car is attached to the stand / dirt road by a ball joint, so it can be positioned dynamically, and look like the weight of the ribs is tipping it. Sweets & Co. | Beautiful Modular

Vote this bad boy in: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/165581 Please! My fifth attempt on building the best modular building I could. This time, a corner building, with a huge diagonal façade, and two very easily differentiated buildings: one royal blue and aqua with 1x1 tiles sticked on the wall and the other white, royal blue and teal. You can probably see this, but this was done in the purpose of it being hyper-ultra-mega colorful. Crafted with 2994 bricks, and includes 5 minifigures. I'm pretty sure it would stand about 30-32cm tall (12-12'5 inches). Some more images: Close up of white/teal façade. Notice the nice tree, and sculpture design on top of the building. The other façade. Beautiful gradient upwards! My whole collection. Kinda shocking how earthy the ones on the right look, and how happy the ones on the left look! Hope to see you sometime soon on my project's comment section and supporter list!

    [MOC] Subway Train and Station

hello, i decided to create a subway train and the station as i feel lego is lacking a subway, the station is based on the Swedish undergrounds as they are filled with nice colours and the train is just a generic subway car which probably fits more towards a NYC sub but oh well please let me know what you think the project is also on ideas if you would like to see this https://ideas.lego.com/projects/ff56ee95-3958-4871-87f2-65aeac7e9b9c

  25. So I created this topic to see what future projects you might have. Hopefully this can become a source of inspiration for people that can't think of something to build or just want to find a cool idea. My future projects: Tuned Nissan GT-R http://www.gtspirit.com/2013/01/19/fast-and-furious-6-blue-nissan-r35-gt-r/ Features: Lowering suspension Small scale Two speed automatic gearbox Studless body Anyone recognize the GT-R? So what future projects do you guys have?
