    [MOC] Santa's Cottage

It's Christmas Time...Santa's Cottage (on LEGO IDEAS too) It’s starting to look a lot like Christmas and as usual in this period it's time for a Christmas themed creation. This cozy shelter is the home of Santa Claus, who is preparing his world tour for delivering gifts. It's called Santa's Cottage and you can support it on LEGO IDEAS too. If you like the bizarre Santa's Cottage please consider to give it a chance of becoming an actual LEGO IDEAS set. You can shortcut straight to LEGO IDEAS platform using this handy link: https://bit.ly/Santas-Cottage-Norton74 Santa's Cottage features a classic Xmas color scheme, an uncommon shape and an unconventional doors/windows style. The main feature is probably the asymmetrical roof with a very sloping shape to the left. The woodshed is located under the excess roof. The red/white/black color combo is simple but effective, and the snowy trees in the background match well. Last but not least the door and windows are round, a shape rarely spotted on a cottage, but quite common in Hobbit houses. Santa, who is coming home from a relaxing walk, has also a nice off-road vehicle painted with a color scheme matching with the cottage. You can spot it on the right. This is probably my last MOC for this year and I wish you all Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

    Steampunk Explorers

Time for an official steampunk Lego set! “In the year 1889, somewhere here on Earth… The greatest explorers and scientists of all known nations gathered for the purpose of discovering, understanding and learning about our world. They are astrophysicists, botanists, engineers, adventurers… Their thirst for knowledge is insatiable. Each country sent its best scientists to the research complex. In this majestic place, they dedicate their knowledge to the exploration of the Earth, seas and oceans and to the discovery of the universe. Engineers design the equipment, craft, and vessels needed to observe and experience the world. Scientists have the best known equipment to carry out their mission.” You can discover all details and support here https://ideas.lego.com/s/p:05b47ad90b92493da65c83eb9990e483
  4. Hi everyone! I'm very happy to introduce you my new Lego Ideas project! :) This is from the times when things were simpler - from my childhood :) https://ideas.lego.com/projects/c5e0de2d-6837-46fd-82ee-16a1a0d56bc2 This idea consists of close to 500 pieces and features all 5 members of Rescue Rangers team and their iconic aircraft built by Gadget :) Also there is a stand designed to look like a part of a tree and a ladder for balancing the plane and extra play-ability. In this build I used only existing molds with some recolors and custom prints! Please support if you like it, any help with sharing is much appreciated! :) The updated brick built kinetic version!

    Old Memories, New Dreams

I was 8 years old when I got my first Lego Classic Space set LL918. I remember I spent hours with catalogs looking at LL924 and the Galaxy Explorer LL928. When I got LL928 from my grandma I was thrilled and couldn't let go. I even took it with me on holidays. Galaxy Explorer Dropship by Giorgio Chronas, auf Flickr A few years later I saw the Galaxy Commander in the store. At the time, due to my father's job, I was living in an a developing country in Africa, where Legos were very rare. I was gazing at the store window, nearly paralyzed and probably with a wide open mouth. I had just past my birthday and for Christmas time I would have to wait a long time. As quickly as I could I ran back home broke that piggy bank into pieces, took everything I had and ran back to the store. I still remember the feelings I had when building this spaceship and looking at every new part as if it were yesterday. Galaxy Commander Dropship_1 by Giorgio Chronas, auf Flickr Now, decades later, being an AFOL I still love space topics, specially neo classic space models from other Afols. A few years ago I remember seeing Wolf Leews modernized version of LL928 (and 924 and 918) in LegoIdeas and having exactly the same feelings. I tried to push it in LegoIdeas but unfortunately it did not make it to the threshold. Wolf Leews, if you see this post, thanks for sharing the instructions. I have your models in my showcase ever since. The idea of an own classic space model did not let go of me. It took me again years of thinking how to approach this topic. My problem was I wanted everything. I wanted to have a command centre, several spaceships, some robots some cool versatile and functional vehicles, a garage where the vehicles would go for repair, a habitat, a repair bay for the robots. And I wanted the antagonists as well: Blacktrons! And I wanted everybody to build up his own space station. Uff! Galaxy Explorer Commander Dropship I knew this was impossible. Then my Lego Pueblo came to mind. It was a 4in1 set proposal at LegoIdeas that you could buy multiple times and stack to each other building up your own Pueblo village. My Lego Pueblo did not make it to the threshold but if I did such a concept once, maybe I could do it again. Many months of thinking and planning what to do, which bricks to use, color scheme, how to combine classic space with Blacktron, drawing and doing research followed. Then I started building. The target was a 3in1 space creator set with three different scenarios that you could combine forming a big space centre. Each scenario should have its own theme and its own playability concept. At the same time some models of one scenario should connect to models of other scenarios, so at the end you have one big unity. I also needed a story. As I love sci-fi and astronomy this part was the easiest one for me. What came out was space station "Antares", a 3in1 space creator set, where New Classic Space searches for Legonit ressources and Blacktrons trying to steal it from them. One alternate build is the Mining Outpost, the other one is the Bot Repair Bay and one is the Galaxy Dropship. 9 Antares Classic Space3x by Giorgio Chronas, auf Flickr With the Galaxy Dropship I combined the features of the Galaxy Explorer and the Galaxy Commander and built a mashup that had its own look. Like the Galaxy Commander the dropship can be split into a space fighter and the cargo bay. Like the Commander it may hold a space lab. But it also may hold a space buggy like the Galaxy Explorer. Since the space buggy is from scenario Mining Outpost, I decided it may also hold the truck from its own scenario. Then I continued. The Galaxy Dropship may hold the trailer the fuel or plasma tanks or even a small space fighter which actually is the cockpit of the robot of scenario Bot Repair Bay. The set seems to be huge, too big, but actually it is only big when the set is acquired multiple times. As a single set it has less bricks than the biggest official LegoIdeas set. I hope you like it and support it at LegoIdeas. It is another attempt to bring back some space without StarWars. 5 Antares Galaxy Dropship by Giorgio Chronas, auf Flickr 6 Galaxy Dropship Hangar by Giorgio Chronas, auf Flickr Guys I do not want to bore you too much. Please take a look for yourself at LegoIdeas. Check out the three different video animations (search for "Legocionado" at YouTube) and take a look at the pics of the updates at LegoIdeas (I have made some animated gifs explaining the concept). [MOC]: Lifeguard's Shack

Hi everyone! Dedicated to all those who's looking forward to meet summer! :) I'm not that great in MOCing, but I'm really happy how this thing turned out and I'll be more than happy to hear your thoughts and suggestions on this little build. (it's 540 pieces). If you like how Lifeguard's Shack looks you may also find it on Lego Ideas website :) https://ideas.lego.com/projects/93574c09-16cd-4076-98c1-996224fa7e9c
  9. Hey there! My Wife and I now Updated our Ideas Submission, which is now called "Native Amerian Settlements" portraying more than one Settlement to show a broad representation of Cultures and maybe educate in the process. Our goal is to overshadow more problematic portrayals of the past and bring the Natives back in a more tastful and respectable fashion. I have actually talked to the Chairwoman of the Association representing Native Americans in my Country and she deemed the Project wonderful! She even gave some change suggestions to make Details more historically/culturally accurate, which we happily included in this Update! Right now the Set includes five dwellings with a Total of 2465 Parts and 6 Minifigures https://ideas.lego.com/projects/db438516-e1b1-49b6-bcd4-d8f6b600e744 Thanks so much for checking it out!
  10. A few months ago I watched the 3 seasons of Infinity Train. The show is a sci-fi/fantasy based series and it's one of the best I've seen in a long time. This Lego Ideas set represents one of the many cars the Infinity Train has. If you like it, support it and share it with everyone!
  11. Hey guys BrickHammer here, after my Forestmen MOC "Forestmen Outpost" was received with much kindness, I decided to also share my "Wolfpack Castle" with you guys. I was always a bit sad that the Wolfpack never had a proper castle set so I decided to design and build my own "Wolfpack Caslte" and submit it to LEGO Ideas. he "Wolfpack Castle" is located on a small coastal island, surrounded by the sea and is only connected to the main land by a small stone bridge. The island is almost fully covered by barren rock and has almost no vegetation. On top of the rocks there is the main castle, which consists of three sections: the lower gate, which is the castle's first line of defence and secures the pathway that leads up to the upper castle section the main gate, which secures the upper courtyard and displays the Wolfpack's iconic coat of arms the castle's keep, which contains the armoury and serves as the final line of defence in case of an attack. Below the main castle, there is a big cave which opens up to the sea and contains a small pier. The cave and the pier are connected to the castle's keep by a ladder and a small hatch which leads to the upper courtyard. This way, small boats can be used to supply the castle with food during a siege or as a way to escape in the unlikely scenario that the keep is taken by enemy forces. I would really appreciate your feedback (and your support)! If you have any question about the MOC, the design choices or the building process, feel free to ask! https://ideas.lego.com/projects/f23da1e5-312c-4f19-ab89-d0f253d2e6bf
  12. Hi, This time, it's the movie THE MASK, and more specifically Stanley IPKISS's apartment, played by the excellent JIM CARREY. Here is some info about the project: Comprised of 1,523 bricks and 3 minifigures, the size of this set remains compact, despite a plethora of details from the movie. Some elements that we find in the film like, the VHS "Screwball classics 2", the newspaper article on the Coco Bango, the pillow "TAZ" on the sofa, the bag and the tickets stolen in the cupboard, give authenticity to this set. They make it easily identifiable. The rotation of the two armchairs and of certain modular elements makes it possible to simulate the disorder caused by the first two transformations of the MASK. The living room has returned. The game is only more dynamic. I didn't want to put the Milo (The Jack Russel) figurine on, for the simple reason that I couldn't find a suitable figurine. I hope that Lego will soon release a set with Ron's Patronus in Harry Potter, this would allow me to update my project by finally including Milo. Otherwise you can always help me find a solution If you like, feel free to support and share this project https://ideas.lego.com/projects/00c9cbfb-6241-4af4-8344-f2db7e64a734 A BIG THANK YOU
  13. Hello Everyone, For a long time I had this project in my ideas book, but never had the time and the pieces to make it real. For Chairs lovers, Design lovers, Mini-model lovers and simply to all who love to sit back and relax or just love to enjoy some good classic and minimalist furniture, this idea is really a match to your lifestyle. Introducing.... drums please.... The Wooden Deckchair! Wooden Deckchair by 0937 Superfan on Flickr Don't be fooled by the image size right away! With 150 x 200 x 180 mm you'll have a blast building this wooden chair that really works. Fold and unfold it the many times you want because this creative project is built with almost 450 pieces and which makes the price tag to fit under the 49.99$. You could take some time out and enjoy creating this LEGO design piece to display at your home. It also could be offered as a cool gift for Birthday or Christmas to a truly fan model if this turns out to be a real LEGO model. Don't forget to Support on LEGO® Ideas Please! Would mean a world to me! Much Love

  18. Hello everybody! I'd like to share you guys my Lego Ideas project, Servbot from Mega Man Legends https://ideas.lego.com/projects/bc40088e-611b-41dd-9231-d6a3bf3c574c This project has in total 2859 pieces with multiple features and add ons included like Customizable facepiece, Arms with customizable parts, Mega Man Helmet, Arm Cannon and a Tron Bonne Minifigure! The Servbots, (also known as Kobun in Japan), are small support robots that were created by a 14 year old air pirate named Tron Bonne to support herself in order to perform her tasks and missions. They were portrayed as neutral characters in their first debut in "Mega man Legends" back in 1997 and had their own spin-off game "The Misadventures of Tron Bonne" in 1999 with Tron Bonne as the main playable character. Not only that but they also made numerous crossovers, cameos and appearances in games like Marvel vs Capcom 2 & 3, Namco x Capcom, Dead Rising, Project X Zone and many more I personally enjoyed the building and learning experience of this project, it was a lot of fun especially learning more information about these characters as not only the Servbot's design is inspired by Lego Minifigures, but the developers of Mega Man Legends used Lego bricks to make dungeons ideas for their levels! So knowing that the developers of Mega Man Legends used Lego to inspire them, and how much I adore Tron and the Servbots, I thought it would be fun to make a Lego Ideas set out of it. I hope you guys enjoy it! Please share and support my Lego Ideas project! https://ideas.lego.com/projects/bc40088e-611b-41dd-9231-d6a3bf3c574c

    [MOC] Castle of Lord Afol

Hi All! I'd like to share with you my latest take on the Castle theme. It's called Castle of Lord Afol and the Black Knights. I tried to keep it classic in general appearance, modern in detail, playable and sturdy. The latter features are yet to be proven, as it's still only a digital MOC While it may look a bit modest compared to some contemporary MOCs, it is so for a reason - it contains "only" 3000 pieces, which is a limit for Lego Ideas entries. And while some of the MOCs around boast insane shapes, this one is quite solid and, despite the name, I think it could be built without a big problem by a 10-year-old with some practice with Lego. Tell me what you think about it and if you like it, please comment and support this project also on Lego Ideas: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/f588abaa-4dab-4a56-b7bc-a7e38d018711 Enjoy!
  23. Hello Eurobricks users! I would like to share my LEGO Ideas project with you all. It is the Flutter airship from the Mega Man Legends (1996-2000) series of video games. This vehicle is iconic and recognizable to many video game fans outside of Mega Man. The model has exactly 3000 bricks and has three floors, much like the Flutter in its respective video games. The past decade has been a tough one for Mega Man Legends fans and Mega Man fans in general. With the cancellation of the highly anticipated Mega Man Legends 3 sequel in 2011, video game fans were left wondering when Mega Man Volnutt and his colorful cast would return. This set serves to quench some of the thirst for Legends 3 and introduce new fans to this unique Mega Man series using the familiar medium of LEGO. With the recent release of Mega Man 11 in 2018, the blue bomber is returning to the video game spotlight and accumulating a fresh, younger fanbase. What better time than now to release a LEGO Flutter? More pictures and information can be found at the Ideas project link: https://ideas.lego.com/content/project/link/6fae1868-2b38-4b40-8c91-335b05226540 If you are a fan of Mega Man or a video game fan in general, be sure to support and share this project!

  25. I am very excited to present you my recent supercar MOC. It includes a PF (Power Function) version and a non-PF version. The PF version uses 2xLarge motor (propulsion) and 1 servo motor (steering), and it drives very smoothly. The non-PF version contains a 3-speed gearbox and a V4 fake engine, it also has a comprehensive steering system including HOG. More details can be found in my LEGO Ideas project https://ideas.lego.com/projects/2702df52-bcdc-467f-aab4-9d81000d7c14. I hope that I can have your support! Here are some pictures: Below are pictures about how the steering and drivetrain work in the non-PF version:
