Which LEGO set did you recently purchase or build?
The Nether Portal. Someday I will conquer my fear of ghasts! . . Maybe it'll be when they create a less creepy model of one.

21348 Lego Ideas Dungeons & Dragons and D&D CMF

One thing I’m noticing that I really love is that none of the outfits have any skin showing on them, so you could easily swap around the heads to change the composition of the party . . well, except for the halfling probably but it’s still very much appreciated.- 309 replies

LEGO Dreamzzz 2024 Rumours and Discussion
Fenghuang0296 replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
“Z-Blob The Knight”? With a piece count like that, could we expect a Titan Mech style robo scale version of Z-blob? That sounds exciting. I’m also stoked for the C-Rex. Car-Rex, maybe? I’m hoping for a Truckosaurus vibe. Also quite curious about the ‘Northern Crow’ - sounds sort of like it might be a bad guys base build, finally, maybe hopefully? Or else some kind of giant nightmare monster, which would also be awesome. Intrigued by the fact that the Never-Witch seems to be replacing the Nightmare King as the main villain, and hopefully will be in more sets. Kind of surprised in all honesty, she didn’t really seem like main villain material, but neither did the Spider Queen at first I guess. Bit disappointed that NK was only in two sets after all that . . -
Batman (DC Superheroes) 2024 - Rumors & Discussion

I was really hoping this would be a bunch of Minifigure scale buildings, all connected together. Something I could put in my city. Sigh. Easy skip for me, then. -
Pictures of the Space Science Lab are officially out and I love it! It’s like a terrarium! It’s gorgeous! And they’ve finally, on their third try, done a building with two airlocks, so that we can actually attach it to the City and Friends bases as an expansion! Definitely getting this! https://lego.bricksmegastore.com/products/lego-city-space-science-lab?utm_source=Klaviyo&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=NEW VIP PRE-ORDER SETS <AU>02.03.24 (01HQW31M2EC2NRTSZN2G0YG8F3)&_kx=0N9rxmExFA0eGmVsA3dCJEJkGcskkYCwbpM4kppZlrDxfItMLcV2GwwXtNcro4Ao.UYvNsm There is a little alien who’s been recruited and given his own little space suit, it’s adorable! And a disabled spaceman with a hover bike that’s built to accomodate his wheelchair? Weird but interesting!

The Friends Mars Rover looks gorgeous, I love it. Trying to figure out how it connects to the airlock system, though, it looks like the main body of the rover detaches from the wheels and then splits in half? I really wish they’d done some kind of ‘hub’ set, because there are a lot of attachment points but not a lot of things to attach them to. I want to put everything together into a giant space base, dang it.

Animal Crossing 2024 - Rumors & Discussion
Fenghuang0296 replied to TheBrickPal's topic in LEGO Licensed
This is literally my first time buying a set on day 1; I always wait for sales, but Big W in my area somehow managed to get the Isabelle/Fauna and Bunni sets out and available for pretty good prices, so I picked both of them up. They are adorable and I really hope this theme succeeds because I will buy every set they put out. Fauna’s House in particular is going to be a great addition to the suburbs of my LEGO city. The other three sets are less generously priced, so I’m probably going to wait until the Easter sales, but definitely looking forward to having them! -

I was genuinely disappointed to learn that the wolves were just masked humans, because I thought that we’d get a whole tribe of Ras-alikes. If this happens I am so down for it. -

The $80 set is a Battle Bus with ten minifigures apparently? That can’t possibly be correct, right? Sounds way too good to be true. -
Lego 'Wednesday' rumours and discussion.
Fenghuang0296 replied to Agent Kallus's topic in LEGO Licensed
I expect Thing to be represented by this part either way, honestly, that hand doesn’t look very necessarily minidoll-ish. I am wondering if we might get a version of the ‘power blast’ minifig hand attachment piece with an anti stud instead of a stud though, that would be interesting and let him walk around. -
Has anyone come up with any creative ideas regarding what to do with these torsos and their gorgeous variant on the Classic Space logo? https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=973pb5500c01&idColor=153#T=C&C=153 Or, for that matter, any of the surprisingly wide diversity of variants on Classic Space we’ve been getting recently. From different colours thereof, to Mr. Oz’ Dreamchaser variant in DREAMzzz, we even got a harness with a ‘space mining’ variant ages ago.

Bricklink Designer Program Trains Sets | 2024 & Beyond
Fenghuang0296 replied to RedBrick1's topic in LEGO Train Tech
I can’t quite tell from the pictures; how offset is Brick Cross Station from the baseplate of the Modular? I have a line of track running behind some Modulars with three studs of overlap. If I can’t make that work I have no interest, but if I can then I’m excited. -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Fenghuang0296 replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
I appreciate what you’re saying, but looking at Ninjago and CNY we already get plenty of Asian buildings, too. Personally I’d really love to see a Modular building that accommodates some Indian architecture. Also, didn’t we already sort of get a radio station on the top floor of the Downtown Diner? And given how frequently we get City and Friends hospitals I don’t think a Modular one is urgently required - I recently got a preowned edition of the 2018 City Hospital from a yard sale in mostly good condition, restored and modified it a bit, and it looks excellent among the Modulars. (Though that might just be the windows that are big enough to let me actually see the interior from outside, which I love and wish would happen more.) Completely down for a TV Studio though. -

Thanks for the interest! I’m getting the CNY Family Reunion restaurant literally today, so give me a day or two to put it together and get it installed then I’ll share! -
LEGO Ninjago 2024 Rumours and Discussion

I’m in a somewhat hairy spot where I’ve pulled back the water from the ‘front’ of my Ninjago City (which currently consists of the Docks split in two and used as end modules, the Gardens, and a custom ‘harbour berth’ inside corner module. I’m in the process of merging the new CNY Family Reunion set with the 16x32 part of the Docks that has Mystake’s Tea Shop after moving them all onto a slightly longer table, and have the Titanium shrine adjacent to my custom Harbour and the Docks’ Tea Shop (with a walkway extended across the Harbour to connect to the Shrine, which will be turned into a complete loop once I’ve added the Reunion restaurant to it). This has left me with an approximately 25x16 stud space next to the Titanium shrine at the corner of the table that I’m not sure what to do with, and adding the Dragonstone Temple as a second island there is tempting since it looks about the right size. Since I’ve effectively designated the entire ‘water’ side of the table, with the Docks and the Harbour, as a shipping port, putting the Temple there would block egress from the port (and be hanging over the edge of the table). If anyone’s curious, I’d be happy to share pictures. . . though, actually, hey. The Docks and Harbour are effectively forming two berths with a space in between them. If I redo that area carefully enough and give it the necessary support, I just might be able to make Dragonstone serve as a sort of giant lighthouse statue that frames the harbour, with the internal water area being contextualised as a sort of tide pool. That could be really cool. -

The special base that they sent out to some reviewers is absolutely gorgeous and I really wish it was part of the set. I’m so tempted to try to make something similar on my own and add this to Ninjago City that way. Would it be too gaudy and crowded next to the Gardens’ Titanium Ninja memorial?
