  1. This is probably optimistic, but I am in the planning stage of building a massive landship /vehicle transporter. I do plan to build it for real after I complete the studio model. These are the functions I would like to have. The 1st pic is certain - drive, steer, lift. The 2nd pic are functions that would be nice to have - secret door and crane. The 3x19 frames are just to show the distance. This is what i have so far: This all started when I saw this video in my YouTube feed. Then a little while later this came up and so then I wanted to make my own version of a landship In more detail. This is the rear axle: This is the lift mechanism in more detail. The backboard of the lift would be removed for the secret door to have vehicle storage under the deck a bit like an aircraft carrier: Also feel free to suggest a better name for the vehicle. I am keen for suggestions and feedback. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
  2. So I looked for ambulance and found nearly all results showed normal City theme builds. Only one or two Technic theme builds. So I made the plunge, found some drawings, and got to work. The first attempt was a fail as the scale was a little to big, cause I ran out of parts. So I found a different set of drawing and found Sariel's unit converter app. This allowed me to plan and make to scale and smaller, only to find out near the end that I still didn't have enough red. (Or money at the time to get more, but have also moved on). So I will call this somewhat viable MOC- Ambulance V.1 I have plans to build digital and make a version 2 in the future, but I got another set of MOC's on the table at the moment.
  3. What originally started out as a bigger version of 7665, (same crappy proportions and stuff) turned into a (almost) fully fledged MOC using techniques from 75105 and the UCS set, witha bit of my own ideas mixed in. But enough chitchat, here it is: falcon cool view by Marcus Holtznagel, on Flickr I highly recommend checking out my flickr for high res pics, and more of them. falcon top by Marcus Holtznagel, on Flickr top view falcon back by Marcus Holtznagel, on Flickr falcon underside by Marcus Holtznagel, on Flickr underside (UNFINISHED) falcon docking port by Marcus Holtznagel, on Flickr docking ring(s) (PLANNING ON CHANGING) falcon turret by Marcus Holtznagel, on Flickr top turret, featuring LEDs falcon mandibles by Marcus Holtznagel, on Flickr mandibles falcon cockpit by Marcus Holtznagel, on Flickr cockpit and i STRONGLY SUGGEST you watch this video i put together showing all the LEDs in action: Thanks for looking, I hope for some feedback!

    MOC: The Wild Horse

Hi everybody, I present you the Wild Horse, a very huge creation of myself that many people would like to assemble, 1100 bricks and 75 cm long... Beside the Death Star, it's so... I don't know? WILD! https://ideas.lego.com/projects/bfba06f9-df7e-464f-93e7-226622d6e63e

    legoland battle sized ships

Does anyone know if I could get the brick plans for one or more of the pirate ships at legoland in the scale model area. There was a neat pirate battle between two boats and the boats were huge. I'd love to build one. I have no idea how to do a hull for it. I'm hoping plans are available. Thank you for responses.
  8. Hey guys, I'm looking to start a UCS scale star wars project but I don't know what to build? I've looked and almost all the ships, vehicles...anything, has already been done either as a Moc or an official Lego set. I'm planning to make instructions for this once I'm finished and sell them for quite cheap (Probably around $5 CAN) so if anyone can give me an idea that I end up doing, when I have the instructions I can give them to you for free. I just need some help finding the perfect Star Wars "Thing" to UCS. (Sorry, I'm using UCS as a verb...rip) Thanks!
  9. I was thinking about what I could do with the newly acquired bucket wheel excavator parts. Something that I couldn't build without these big yellow circles. That's how this strange idea came to be. The arms are motorized: they grab or drill and retract into the wheels. The compact and functional hand is my favourite part of the robot The two-wheel design makes it wobble a lot. Someone on youtube commented that it's headbanging to the music - genius!!! I might try making one with adjustable wheel angles next! Any suggestions? Check it out on LEGO Ideas!!!

    [MOC] Batman Tumbler UCS Scale

This is my Batman Tumbler that was inspired by the UCS set. It is pretty much the same scale of the set, a little smaller but this has no interior because, well I know if you follow me you've heard this enough but...I don't have enough parts. I really wanted to buy the actual set but it was just too expensive so I just decided to make my own. Granted, not as good because I'm not a professional Lego designer but you know, it works. I hope you like it and can get inspired from my mocs. Please be sure to check out my Batpod MOD and LOTR Mocs. Thanks, MovieMocs
  11. Please support my fully functional walking Wind-up Robot. I'm posting this to the Technic forum, because it is actually a LEGO Technic/Mindstorms creation. The Classic bricks are only on the outside. I built this for Christmas 2016. It gave out presents to all our friends and family. The product of two months work! The sleigh is driven by two NXT motors (controlled by EV3) and Rudolph's legs are powered by a PF M motor. Santa Claus has an incorporated pneumatic system using two pistons, a pump powered by a PF L motor and an EV3 motor which opens and closes the pneumatic valves. The video shows a case where Santa rejects a naughty kid and, in the end, doesn't give him the present. I hope you enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed building. Merry Christmas !!!
  12. Dear all, For the pneumatic contest, I've built a huge robot called ''Nemesis''(from the ancient greek goddess) and I would like to share it with you. Nemesis has 22 pneumatic functions operated by a double compressor. All pneumatic valves are operated only manually according to the competition. Has a weight of 8kg and consists of 8000 lego technic bricks. Total air cylinders : 26 large 11 mini The compressor uses 2 large pneumatic pumps operated by a PF XL motor. The maximum pressure that can be reached by this pneumatic system is 28 psi with fresh batteries. Due to more than 30 pneumatic ''T-air pieces''pressure cannot reach a higher level because there is a huge drag and the XL motor has no power to rotate more. The length of pneumatic tubes are between 0.5 and 1.5 meters long. Due to the large hoses, large air storage is needed because there is a lot of air loss in the system. The air of the whole system is stored inside 2 lego air tanks (although the system needed far more) : The compressor has an auto-pneumatic switch using a large cylinder, which turns the air engine off when the pressure reaches 24 psi. A manometer is used for showing the air pressure at any time. Functions : Nemesis has 2 arms. The bigger front arm has 15 pneumatic functions and the small back arm has 5 pneumatic functions. The small back arm has the following movements : a) small gripper b) elbow1 c) elbow2 d) shoulder e) shoulder rotation The huge front arm has the following movements : a) large gripper, operating 10 fingers independently having 2 mini cylinders each b) wrist, operating 2 functions (up-down and turning) c) elbow d) shoulder e) shoulder turning Besides, the robot has 2 more pneumatic functions : 1) Face movement 2) A third gripper which is mostly for fun (e.g. for scaring house cats) Here is the video of the project : Thanks for watching Good luck to everyone!
  13. So the weekend of November 12 and 13, Brickmania Antwerp took place in well erm Antwerp (Belgium). It is the biggest event in Belgium, so I always want to do something extra for this event. One year ago, I had the idea to organise a 100m² Pirate Lay-out. I started advertising over here and some people were interested joining my lay-out. Half a year ago, I woke up, realising my appartment was around 100m² in size. So in other words, I had to fill a lay-out the size of my appartment... Here is the participants list: I think this should be everyone... :D A lot of sleepless nights, panic attacks and brainstorming later, Brickmania Antwerp opened and people were delighted to see the following lay-out: Enjoy! More pictures: my Flickr Video by Tomsche Video by Christian - Some additional numbers: 64 ships and over 2000 minifigs!!! The tables were 10x10m - The lay-out will be licenced as royal commerce by the participants

    [MOC] The Big Spaceship

Hello, everybody! Let me introduce my new MOC: The Big Spaceship. It is not inspired by movie or video game, so it has not got Prototype. Dimensions received approximately 80x60 cm (length x width). In my opinion, the form is quite original original, so I am satisfied with it) Top view: Bottom view: To turn it had to remove part of the lining and the central turbine, so the back stick beam to which it is attached;) The two sides have open trapdoors: One of them opened: The back side, you can see the turbine;) Вид спереди: Thats all, I hope you enjoed! Classic vs. New Lego airplanes

Hello Everyone I would like to discuss a point that many adult Lego plane enthusiasts probably think about. What is better the old classic smaller planes of the past, or the new large and more realistic planes of today. I am going to try to give an unbiased opinion because I have had many smaller planes as a child. In my Opinion the older classic planes are better for airports in city layouts because they are smaller and allow for realistic size airports and runways. They are also great because they use few specialized parts. On the other hand the new larger planes are much more realistic and allow for more play inside with over 15 seats in most of them. They are also better for layouts purely dedicated to the airport. It allows for massive and impressive airports. They are also more fun for smaller children who think bigger is always better. This is only my opinion. Share yours below and provide an opinion. Thank you in advance.

    Lego Digital Designer Weapons

Something new is on the horizon of the Lego Universe - something for people who are bored with the average Lego sets, which are never bigger than a microwave. The 1st business on the internet with Lego Weapon Manuals is for people who are interested in military and building life-sized, BIG creations with their hands. I would have been so happy if these instructions were available when I was a child, but I guess when something that you want doesn't exist in reality you have to create it. Check it out: http://www.ebay.com/sch/legoweaponmanuals/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=
