[MOC] Mazda Race Car with SBrick

EDIT: Building Instructions Available: HERE ________ I’m a big fan of Japanese cars, mostly because of its reliability. In the city I live in, there is a car factory which manufactures some models of Toyota and Mazda cars for the Chinese market. Among them is the Mazda 6 Atenza, the latest model of Mazda 6 series. (via Internet) I like this car a lot. A family sedan beautifully shaped like a supercar. Also you can choose hatchback or wagon configuration, but you don’t see a two-door race car model in this series. So I decided to build one out of LEGO. After a long winter, now I present you my latest MOC: A Mazda Race Car with SBrick. This project started with this iconic front grille. I don’t have a concept of the overall scale for this MOC, everything was decided by the scale of the grille. Ironically, I didn’t realize part 32192 in LBG is rare until the prototype is finished in LDD, and I don’t have a single one of it. Finally got my hands on it after quite a long time. Let’s have a look at a video first. (4K @ 30 FPS, watching in full screen is recommended) Weight: 1130g Dimensions: 350mm (L) x 160mm (W) x 127mm (H) Parts count: 1390 pcs Working headlights / taillights Servo motor cable has to go between the two seats due to length concerns, otherwise I can put more details in that area. A tiny fake engine for a tiny space. I must say I’m not a big fan of soft axles and I don’t use them too much. But they look great when used to shape wheel arches. The car is heavy towards the back, so rear suspension looks kind of weird. It gets the job done, though. Drivetrain is quite simple. Also you could find some inspirations from Madoca’s Supercar and Corvette. :thumbup: More photos: Building instructions is on the way. It will be available very soon. [MOC] John Deere 75G Excavator

Last week, I've finished my new scale model: It's a John Deere 75G excavator. I've chosen built it in in the Model Team style. The chassis and boom were the easiest part of the excavator. The cabin and rest of the upper part were challenging. It was a nice challenge to get the excavator in the correct shape. It took four month’s to complete the excavator with display. Nebulon-B Medical Frigate by Dranac feat. Onecase (photo by Onecase) Hello every one. A few years ago, I revealed my UCS Nebulon-B frigate. It is now time to update this post, with new photos... new version and new instructions. It is now the the sixth version (v6) and I think it will be the very last. Because, Onecase (one of the best star wars mocer), added some welcome details, I decided to add some of these improvements to my Nebulon-B (with his kind authorization), I also rebuilt some parts of the frigate, for better resistance, optimization and better rendering. Because I'm not a very good photographer, I asked him if I could add to my photos some of his. He accepted and I thank him. I also decided to fully remake the instructions (PDF). It is a very nice and clear version, accessible to everyone. The instructions + part list are still on sale. Here is the part list (Red and lime colors can be replaced by anyelse) This new version is made of 4585 parts (the v5 was made of 4200 pieces), but keep the same proportions : 85 cm long This moc is still as strong as before (you can move it with one hand without any risk), as stable as before and still 100 % modular (you can disassemble it easily to show it in any convention ! ^_^) Enjoy ! RC Quad-Motor Rally Car Chassis

Hello! I'm back with another MOC, most likely the last one for a long time as I'm rapidly approaching a Lego dark-age of my own (college). This time around I'm finishing off my series of high-speed vehicles with a special rally-style chassis. It is my best handling version so far and it actually has bodywork (more of a tubular rollcage). Details: RC - featuring the custom electronics I've been using for previous versions. Link for those who haven't seen my setup yet. 4 Buggy motors for drive (2 driving each rear wheel, disconnected in the middle). Servo steering (normal Lego servo). 4 Wheel independent suspension - rear includes anti-roll bar and shorter top links while the front has caster and active camber due to shorter top link. Both axles have modified pneumatic cylinders acting as springs+dampers together. Extremely sturdy chassis with little to no twist (I tried hard to twist it from end to end, doesn't budge) plus sturdy rollcage that can be used to pick up the MOC. 3D printed wheels by efferman, as well as 3D printed spherical gear counterparts that act as really strong CV joints. The sturdy construction allows the suspension to work as intended, absorbing every bump. Here is the video: And now for a photo dump: Hope you guys like it! Sorry purists -

Welcome, I'd like to present a bus Solaris Urbino 12 IV. Specifications Scale 1:15 Length 103s / width 23s / height 27s (83/18/22 cm) Weight: 5,4 kg Front suspension: Independent, double-wishbone Rear suspension: Live axle Suspension with kneeling system RWD 2-speed gearbox AA+AAA Battery Boxes 7 motors Functions Driving - 2XLs Steering - L Opening doors - M Kneeling system - L + Servo Changing gears - M LED headlights Working steering wheel History Some time ago I decided to build a bus. I chose Solaris, beacuse it's a polish concern, which is producing buses and trams. I started building in mid-Febraury, and I finished it few days ago. Chassis The biggest challenge was to construct a strong chassis. We need to remember that it's a low-floor bus. The drive motors and the gearbox are (like the real one) located veritically on the left, behind the rear axle. It's causing big stress and I had to overcome it by the chassis. It consist of 3 parts: at the bottom there is a floor 2s thick, built from panels 5x11 and frames; at the top there are beams 3x3s on each side of the bus, they are built from liftarms. These two elements are combined by 7 rungs. The construction of the chassis is similar to the hulls of ships and planes. Drivetrain The bus is driven by 2 XLs. Gearbox ratio: I - 12,6:1 II - 4,2:1 The gearbox is built from frames, using 2 gear 24, 1 gear 12 and 1 gear 36. The gears are changed by M motor and mini linear actuator. The biggest problem was to lead the drive from gearbox to the axle. It is the weakest point of the bus - 2 universal joints, connected to the gearbox and to the axle, under a load break. Steering For steering I used L motor with reduction 14,4:1. It propels the gear rack 1x13 and also the steering wheel. Suspension Front suspension is independent with 2 yellow 6.5L absorbers per wheel. Rear is live axle. It has 1 grey and 5 yellow 6.5L absorbers (1 grey and 2 yellow for the right side and 3 yellow for the left side). Opening doors + kneeling system The doors are opened by M motor, reducted by 40:1. The drive is transmitted by liftarms used as links. The kneeling system is realised by 2 medium pneumatic cylinders. The pneumatic wires are connected only from one side, so the bus can rise using the absorbers. L motor drives the compressor and servo opens the valve with reduction 3:1. These 3 motors are electrically coupled, so in each door there is a gear with clucth. Thanks to that, the compressor doesn't stop at any time. Here's the second of my Force Awakens Microfighter MOCs, a Special Forces TIE Fighter. 88 pieces so well within the Microfighter piece count range plus it's a sturdy, playable little model. So far, Lego have produced 2 TIE Microfighters - An Interceptor from ROTJ and the Advanced Prototype from Rebels - but no 'classic' version - why?. I reckoned it was partly to do with capturing the wing design and making it strong enough so, to cut a long story short, I spent some time mocking up the structure with real bricks then, once I had something I was confident with, took it into LDD. It was pretty clear early on that fitting the 6 struts onto the wings was not going to result in anything strong or attractive so I decided just to go for the shape instead and leave the rest to imagination / artistic licence. The key construction element is a 9M cross axle that runs through the middle and the wings and 'beams' that contain 2x2 round plates to sandwich the whole thing together. It's really sturdy, much more so than plenty of the other MFs. The mini-blaster doubles as the antenna when it's clipped in and there are 2 flick missiles underneath. That's about all, the design would easily translate to an Original Trilogy TIE fighter with a simple re-colour so maybe I'll put one of those together too. Finally, here it is with my 'Black Leader' X-Wing micro :) Thanks for taking a look, comments & questions welcome.

This scene takes place during the prelude to the book 4000 years before the actual story and is the pivotal point of that world's history. Ever wondered what a large scale caravan would look like? Here, I've made one that has pretty awesome features! Here's the interior! First, there's the kitchen with a cupboard, drawers, microwave oven, 2-burner cooktop and a radio! 2-person bed with quilt! I still need to know how I could make a fridge/freezer that can store a lot of food! Luxurious Dining Suite with 2 upholstered chairs, coffee mugs & fruit bowl! Folding Entry Steps! The drawbar. Here, there's 2 gas bottles, jockey wheel, safety chains and even a security lock on the coupler! The sunshade on the kitchen window can be closed for travel! The shutters on the front & back can be opened & closed too! The entry door can also be opened! Waste Water Pipe Interchangeable Number Plates, depending on which Australian state you live in! (I live in South Australia!) Stabilizer Jacks Those new 'Flat Tile 1x1 Half Circle' (Part #24246) pieces make nice trailer lights! Number Plate Light Here's the food! Additional Features: Two Spare Wheels Removable Roof Opening Side Windows Outside Light Now if only there was going to be a car that could go perfectly with the caravan... Many People know the Science Fiction Movie "Blade Runner" and they all know and love the Police Spinner,that driving or hovering tricked out Police Cruiser. Yeah,so much Love for the Spinner,but what about all other "iconic" Cars from the Movie? For example the Metrokab. Sure,it`s boxy,ugly and not exactly the wet Dream of every Car Enthusiast.But we need Taxis then and now.And when we need one,a comfy reliable Metrokab is all yours....sort of. My LDD Version is still not completely finished,still need better Pictures of the Interior. So,what do you think of my newest Creation?

Haven't seen a post about this one yet. Builder is not active on Eurobricks, but this appears to be the follow-up of his impressive Subaru Impreza. I especially like the adjustable ground clearance, a very practical feature for an AWD supercar: Reproduction of the fast french supercar. Built in the classic Lego Technic Supercar style. Hello. Quite a random model for me, I wanted to built something different, but... So i decided to leave anything as it is and post this to separate topic. Typical for Le-regions Rahi, little robo-butterfly. Their food is nectar, they have no real nature enemies, except some birds (Hukamanu are too lazy to catch them :P). The only interesting thing about Mangupepeké is it's glimmering. Also some of you can remember Blacktron for some reason. Any comments are welcome!

Built for the 2016 MOCAthalon, the category this time was “Classic Update.” I chose to update the Black Falcon Fortress #6074. The original featured a working drawbridge and hinging walls to allow for multiple building layouts. I kept both those features, and added a dual catapult, jail with break-away wall, great hall with fireplace and table, and a stables with working gate. There are 6 minifigs included: 4 Black Falcons, and 2 Crusaders, plus there are two horses, some extra weapons, and a treasure chest. There are 2 ladders to allow minifigs to reach the walls, and they can fold up out of the way so you can reach into the interior.
