Hey, I'am working on a Lego train and my layout is fine. It's now time to add houses and so on. I already have Creator house 4956 and 4886. They look fine and size looks good. I plan to buy modular to create a small city. I would like to know how modular will looks side Creator house. I also see some modular-like : 31026 Bike Shop & Cafe. I'am searching for pictures with Creator houses, modular and those modular-like. I would like to know if size match and if they can be mixed. Perhaps I don't use the good words to google for picts but I did not found such pictures. I found a picture form this topic but the viewing angle did not help to compare. PS : Sorry for my poor English. It doesn't help to search...

Need help with scaling
17Liftarm posted a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Hi, i'm having problems with consistency of finding the correct scale when building with unimog tires (Tire 94.3 x 38 R) are you building on the 1:10, 1:12 scale or 1:11 scale? The unimog tires are about 4 1/4 inches in diameter. Some semi tires are 22 1/2 and 36 inches in diameter. A semi is about 8 1/2 feet wide. Do the math: -
Hello all you happy lego people! I know I've been away for ages and I do hope I am remembering all the proper rules here so let me know if I screw up and I'll fix it or get rid of it. Sorry to inconvenience anyone just throwing that out. Anyway I have been in the process of casting new custom pieces such as weapons, accessorys, Kits you get it and not gonna lie I do intend to bricklink I know advertisement is a absolute no no on this forum. I am not wanting to break that rule so while I indeed have plans nothing apart from certain projects will be mentioned here not even the name of what I speak of will be on this or any other thread I make. By the nature of this project being mentioned it tiptoes that fine line as is so please do not think I intend to advertise I will do that where it is appropriate I swear. Ok a couple of my projects for this is to have a fellow create some new parts to actually bring some my kits to life. I am makijg rough design sketches for him but I need to know a few parameters of blocks already out there. First up is Pins and their brick plugs. I know that to ensure the pins like on the Astromech body the holes have a slightly thinner inside that opens up to a little larger section to allow the pin to lock in place till you pull them out. My first question is a common one I'm sure but what is the diameter of the two sections of the socket the pin goes into. Next up deals again with the pegs and socket parts but this time in a lateral setup. How close together can a double pin tube like the one on the astromech for it's legs to peg in be with out interference on the pin next to it? Well that covers the most pressing things I need for a sketch. I'll likely have much more soon. Can anyone direct me to a handy place to find the dimensions of bricks, Pins and such? I have some calipers but I trust them mostly with finding diameter of objects I think can fit into a Lego claw. So that's about it for the moment. I do hope this isn't against the rules I mean I have seen custom brick and weapon threads before but I'm not 100% if this falls into that category as these are for 3D printed prototypes That I'll touch up and use resin for. Like I said if I made a mess let me know I'll clean it up ASAP. On the fact Everything is Awesome I do not post anything breaking the rules of the forum. It's against the instructions but we all slip once in a while. Thank you for the time and hope to hear some good feedback if this is indeed the right way to ask. All of you take care and build tomorrow's masterpieces, Plokman

Hey all! I was wondering whether any of the moderators would be able to tell me how highly Eurobricks is "ranked" in terms of members or site activity/traffic on a global level, if there is any information on this? I would assume, based off the activity in here, that it must be one of the largest LUG's? Any help is greatly appreciated!

With the 30th Anniversary of Space Shuttle Challenger's explosion this year, I've decided to put various sizes of the official Space Shuttle models in a row! From the left to right as follows: 1682 Space Shuttle (Small) 6339 Shuttle Launch Pad (Small) 60080 Spaceport (Medium) 10231 Shuttle Expedition/10213 Shuttle Adventure (Large) 7470 Space Shuttle Discovery (Large) 8480 FOS Light Space Shuttle (Extra Large) Which size do you prefer the most?

Hi! I've been very active here and one of the things I often do is helping people with their LDD builds where LDD "misbehaves" LDD files are usualy under 100k but the upload limit is quickly clogged up. Any way to increase limit so I dont have to upload other people's work on my sites? Thanks!

I haven't found too many details about this, so I figured I'd ask. If I was to build a train tunnel that'd take something along the size of the Santa Fe Super Chief, how big would the tunnel have to be in order to fit it? Obviously it'll have to be at least the width of the track wide, but I'm looking for how much I'd need in terms of space on either side and most importantly, height. The people I know aren't being very helpful either: <Phoxtane> I need to figure out what size is a 'standard' train tunnel <Phoxtane> for lego trains that is <Mosai> it is roughly 1 train tall <Phoxtane> how wide <Mosai> roughly 1 train wide <Phoxtane> mmm <Phoxtane> how long? <Mosai> however long a train is along its z axis <Phoxtane> I thought Z was height <Mosai> z is depth I also know that the Super Chief is quite a bit larger than the typical cargo train, but I figured if the tunnel was big enough to admit that, it'd be big enough for practically anything that runs on standard Lego track.

I've been using the font size option on the rich-text editor (mostly to indicate whispering in Heroica), but many times clicking on the drop-down arrow will crash the tab I'm using. It's rather annoying, not to mention the amount of re-typing I have to do each time it happens. Is there anything that can be done to remedy this? (I'm using IE--yes, I know--on Windows 7, if that helps.)
