    Italian Locomotive Class E326

Hi train lovers. I open this topic to present to You and promote my Italian locomotive E326. Italian Locomotive Class E326 by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr More than one year ago I launched it on Lego Ideas (here is the link if You want to support the project https://ideas.lego.com/projects/134535) as a digital project. It ends its first year with 279 supports. Bad result. But during this year I was ordering the parts from Bricklink to build the locomotive. So I decided to relaunch the project. It takes 252 supports in 15 days. A better start. I build it with some changes because some parts are very difficult to find and some don't exist in the colors that I need. And yes, I've Painted the Windows because I want this type on the locomotive. Lego Ideas allows submitting existing parts in new colors. I normally don't paint Lego. (And this is an opportunity to have them in reddish brown) My english is not good, so here are some photos.. It runs good on curves, but it's not motorized. I know I'm a beginner with trains and surely not an expert like the most on this forum, but I've try to do my best here. And I know Ideas probably will never produce a locomotive, but many supports can encourage Lego to produce new locomotives. You can see complete photo gallery here https://www.flickr.c...s/vedosololego/ I hope You like and support this and my other projects on Ideas. Thanks

    [MOC] Super Speedway

Hi All, Here is a build I've made for this year's Sydney Brick Show. All ready to go with a few weeks to spare :) This build was my car mad son's request. Taking me away from my castle comfort zone but a lot of fun to build. More photos up on flickr https://www.flickr.c...th/25953496801/ Thanks

    [MOC] AT-RT

Hey Eurobricks! Here is my newest creation, the All Terrain Recon Transport. I was unsatisfied with all of Lego's versions, so I made my own. Enjoy! Gree would be proud! by Sir Nagol, on Flickr Here is an updated version that allows the rider to sit down. Someone suggested that I replace the blaster with an antenna, which I think is a great idea! At-rt Version 2 by Sir Nagol, on Flickr (Please let me know if the pics are too large. I can replace them with smaller ones if necessary)
  4. This is probably one of the most ridiculous MOCs to be posted here, but it is a combiner of two Toa models from 2015... Lets just say it is a combiner of the two Toa who would least like to be stuck with one another; let alone sharing the same body! Give it up for, Tapaka! Or maybe it is Kopakahu? Or just Kopaka and Loser? Walking must be a chore, especially since it seems Tahu controls one half and Kopaka the other. Looks like Tahu wants to go somewhere Kopaka doesn't... Looks like the argument is heating up and, OHHHH! Ouch, Tahu has thrown a fist into Kopaka's face! Kopaka strikes back with his spear! How will these two ever learn to get along? Are they destined to be the most powerful TwoToa ever? Or are they doomed to become the stars of: Kopaka the Cold Toa 3: Civil War. (Or maybe it should be called Kopaka vs Tahu: Dawn of TwoToa-ness, I don't know...) Hope you enjoyed this silly combiner model! I would like to see what other Twotoa the members on this forum can come up with!
  5. Hey all I have a quick question about the mindstorm sensors. I would like to incorporate the colour sensors into my elevator to use as a reference so the lift knows where to stop.. I will put one sensor in the lift and a light or colour at each floor, I would like to know if I can use the mindstorm sensors directly with the power function motors or if id have to build something separate to turn the PF motors on off etc. I would also like to use this sensor in a similar way to open the powered door operator on the lift for 10 seconds or so, Its taken me a long time to get these power function motors to fit and work properly so I dont want to swap them out for the mindstorm motors. Any advice/help would be really appreciated, I'm considering buying the ev3 set but dont want to unless im certain it can help. a video if you want know what im talking about thanks all trav

    Working Elevator

Hi all, Its not exactly a city but its a building you put into a city.. I've been working on it for a fair while now, mostly its just the elevator shaft with some of the buildings first floor complete, I hope to get this around 10 stories tall fully furnished with offices and conference rooms etc. It works really well the doors are electric and are a copy of how a real elevator works.. as close as i could get it anyway. Its roped like a real elevator and has a counterweight (which still needs more weight in it, I am waiting on 5 more boat weights to even it out). I'm planning on putting a mindstorm colour sensor into the elevator to get it to stop at the right spot at every level.. I've never used the mindstorm gear so I'd love to know if anyone has any ideas on this and I'm also trying to work out a way to incorporate call buttons without putting a push sensor at every level.. Ideas would be appreciated! I dont want to go out and buy an entire mindstorm set unless I know its going to help.. Anyway thats my "city" lol, thanks for your time:) Here's a vid of the elevator being built, enjoy! Trav.
  7. This is the second iteration of "The Bat" that I built. It features an opening cockpit, room for 2 minifigs, movable engine pods, moving rear flaps, and spinning propellers. The most challenging aspect of designing and building it was trying to capture the shape of all the panels on the top and rear of the vehicle.
  8. Hello again! I've recreated the cover of one of my all time favorite comics: Batman - The Dark Knight Returns. Comments and criticism is much appreciated!
  9. I started a small number of freelance commissions last year and I appreciate the idea and would like to pursue the concept further. It would improve my creativity, working in a constrained time frame, collaborating with others and building a portfolio of designs towards my main ambition of becoming a product designer. I'm currently struggling on what is a reasonable rate for each commission. I was thinking of 0.50p / 0.75p per LEGO element (postage NOT included in quoted price.) The price will cover the labour and time in designing the concept and service; additionally the cost of the LEGO elements themselves. NB: I'm not taking any commissions yet; these are just early concepts. My LEGO Creations: https://www.flickr.c...157645785522606 Insights and suggestions would be appreciated, Adeel

    [MOC] The Untouched Laboratory

I created this moc for an upcoming display for my local LUG. Basically the story is: The zombies are destroying the world (insert archetypal end of world situation.) However, in a remote part of the North American desert, a small research facility had become a haven for a small group of survivors. Guarded by the extreme heat of the sun and desolate desert, they had live secluded from the extreme destruction across the world caused by the outbreak of the zombie epidemic. Here they live striving day in and day out to find the cure. By now, the zombies have infected most of the major cities and smaller towns of the world and were running out of people to feed upon. Desperate for new prey, the zombies have begun wandering to the more remote parts of the wilderness to discover, by chance, hidden populations to infect. One day while out to collect supplies for the research, one of the men is discovered by a band of zombies and in a panic to escape, he retreats and is followed to the research facility, revealing the hideout's location to the zombies. Will the Untouched Laboratory meet its end? There are more images on my flickr feed. You can get to the album by clicking the first 2 pictures.
  12. When I first heard that the LEGO company was releasing a rendition of the vehicle back in January 2015, I had high hopes that their set would be faithful to its inspiration. Sadly, that wasn't the case, and their rendition was definitely my least favorite of that wave. I've been wanting to make this vehicle for some time. After finding another great MOC from another LEGO Designer, my design finally came together. If you wish to see his project, which is exceptional, you can click here. The design features many of the features seen in the original ship, namely a rotatable top cannon, a central canopy with space for 2 drivers and a commanding officer, 6 side areas for prisoners or deploying troops, and 2 adjustable front guns. Along with a very sturdy frame design, this is the perfect rendition of the fan-favorite Imperial vehicle. Here are some pictures of the design from different viewing points. Let me know in the comments what you think of this design, and be sure to tell the original designer how nice his MOC is as well, as his is the inspiration for this design. You can also go to MOCpages & to see this vessel, if you want.

    [MOC] Council of Elrond

Hi all, this is my first MOC of the Lord of the Rings theme. It needed a lot of work and I'm quite proud of it. I built it starting from the original set and taking inspiration from different mocs that i found on web. Hope you like it!
  16. GhostBusters, Dana Barretts Apartment This is my Lego Ideas model of Dana Barrett's apartment from the eighties classic movie Ghostbusters I Have made the model as near to movie accurate as I could get, I spent a lot of time viewing the film footage and cross referencing from screen grabs, The apartment features several times throughout the movie and the set dressing changes on each occasion, so I have combined all occasions into the model. The features of the set are as follows three mini figures Dana Barrett, Pete Vekman,Terror Dog Terror Dog arms to attach to the arm chair Additional 1X1 Triangle pieces to create the carpet ripple effect Additional pieces to create the apparition in the fridge All the furnishings of the apartment, Piano, Tables, Books (etc) This is one of my favorite scenes in the film I believe this Lego Idea would really compliment the ghost busters Lego sets that are already available.

    Dark Knight Tumbler MOC

With the highly anticipated Batman v Superman being released in a week, I decided to revamp some of my old Batmobile MOCs. The first one I decided to redo was the Tumbler. This is the fifth iteration of my MOC, and features seating for two, opening canopy, and 6 poseable flaps. I collectively used a lot of great ideas from other peoples' designs, mainly from Buggyirk's, so much of the credit goes to him. Please enjoy! And of course, an obligatory Batman v Superman style shot

    MoC: Toa Makanii

Notes on the figure itself: I do not have a ton of Bionicle parts to work with, but I am happy with what I was able to make. :) I tried my best to build her around her character traits. She is suppose to be young and childish. So I made her torso short, gave her smaller feet, narrower shoulders and chose Kopaka's mask because it was the least threatening mask I had in white. She was originally to be white with green highlights, but that just didn't turn out how I wanted. So I went with my second choice, blue. The peg on her back is to hold her sword. Bio: Toa Makanii was once a mere scholar, learning all she could about the universe, but with the reunification of Spherus Magna and the arrival of new threats, a new breed of Toa had to be created. One that could not only fight, but learn, and adapt. Makanii was chosen not only because of her enthusiasm for learning, but also for her compassion. A necessary tool in showing the Agori that the Matoran peoples have come with only good intentions. But Makanii's outward joy and enthusiasm masks her deep seated fear that she will not be able to live up to both the Legends of old and Mata Nui's expectations. Weapons: Toa Makanii is armed with a duel-sided sword and a disc launcher. Mask: Toa Makanii wears a great Mask of Clairvoyance, in the shape of an Akaku, to pay homage to the late Kopaka. Abilities: Toa Makanii is not very agile or strong, but she possesses great mental powers. She is able to control the minds of weaker-minded beings and is also capable of subtly influencing others by planting thoughts into their heads. However, this is very exhausting on her, and she cannot do this for long.
  19. This is my third freebuild of the month. If you're not one of the Sea Rats and you like the build please (And don't forget to state your allegiance). Previously... Breaking Out Complications Next... A Planning Session Finally back aboard the Bleak Angel, Captain Dracken calls his first mate, Alastair Jakes, and helmswoman Liliana Vespwood to his cabin to discuss the next move. And, of course, where Liliana goes, Althea goes too. Inside, Althea picks up a small native idol and sits on the Captain's bed while the others gather around a table full of charts. “It's all very impressive,” Jakes says, “but where is it leading?” “Have you heard of Oedon Black?” Dracken asks. “Can't say I have, Cap'n.” “Well,” Dracken begins, “some time ago Oedon Black was a rather well known trader in certain circles...” “And,” Liliana interrupts, “by trader you mean smuggler.” “Only some of the time,” Dracken explains, “but yes, Mister Black did quite a bit of smuggling. Made a fair amount on trading outlawed texts, tomes and artefacts in Oleon.” “Sounds like Mister Drave,” Liliana states, “but since you're using the past tense am I correct to presume Black is no longer with us?” “Correct,” Dracken says flatly, “the authorities caught up with him and, for his crimes, executed him. Sky burial, or so I heard. Wouldn't even let his soul rest in Hades. However, Oedon Black knew better than to store his wares somewhere the Faith could find them.” A voice rose from behind the trio. “You mean the Heretic's Hoard, don't you?” Althea asked. “I do indeed,” Dracken responds, “I already had the key before our misadventure on LeBellan. Now I have the last map we need to find it.” “Let's get to work, then.” Jakes says.

    [MOC] iveco 480.12 bus

Hi everyone ! Here is my first MOC, not built yet bust just made with LDD. It is taken from this real bus that has worked all around Milan in 80's years. Well, it is quite a big model but thanks to the big size I could make the opening doors and the steering wheel. It has 4 seats at the back, 3 on the right side (where there are doors), 6 seats on the left side and one driver seat. Before building it I wanted to make the roof opening. Every suggestion is welcomed !

  22. Bought some LEGO Ninjago Anacondrai Battle Mech polybag 30291 polybags since they went on sale in our area. I thought they would make good battle mechs for my Goblin minifigures. When I did a straight up build I was put off by the purple parts so I decided to modify the build and made 2 variations: Calling this the "Bobcat" Calling this the...uhmmm... "Chicken" I have another polybag but I could not think of another design. Any of you here got any alternate builds for this poly? Thanks.

    LDD UPDATE

Hey all, hopefully you've stopped by the frontpage recently, because a new LDD update file has been released!! I just downloaded it myself, and I must say that the most important elements added (imho) were the Servo Motor and the L Motor!! Please read this thread for more details!! Thanks, ~M_Slug357~
  24. Hi! This is my first (maybe second) post on this forum, but I've been following it for quite a long time now. I started building with Lego Technic about five years ago and now I would like to share with you the video of my latest creation which is this Motorized Bus. This model features: Drive, powered by two L-motors Steering, powered by a Servo Motor Opening front and back doors powered by two M-motors It also has a very detailed fake V6 engine in the back. I started building this model about a year ago. My spare time is rather limited since I'm a student, and I've been working on other projects as well, but there's still a lot of work behind this creation. The doors were the most challenging things to build and it took a very long time to get them right, I've rebuilt that mechanism at least five times. It was also very hard to make a mechanism that would fit under the roof of the bus and not be visible through the windows. Well, now it's finally finished and I'm quite happy with the end result so I hope you like it too and enjoy watching my video!
  25. Imperial Autonomous Turbolaser Turret by Veynom, on Flickr Imperial Autonomous Turbolaser Turrets (IATT) are pre-assembled heavily armoured turrets that were quickly mounted nearby important fortifications. The twin-barrelled turbolasers served as heavy anti-capital ship weapons and could also annihilate any ground vehicle at very long range. There were however too slow to reliably target fast starfighters. They could punch through both deflector shields and armour on spaceships with the heaviest defensive layers. Imperial Autonomous Turbolaser Turret by Veynom, on Flickr The IATT did not need to be physically connected to any infrastructure as it contained a small power generator to operate. It also contains inside its basement a small hangar bay with a speeder that an operator could use. Imperial Autonomous Turbolaser Turret by Veynom, on Flickr Imperial Autonomous Turbolaser Turret by Veynom, on Flickr Imperial Autonomous Turbolaser Turret by Veynom, on Flickr Comments welcome on this small variation of my original Imperial Turbolaser Turret from 2013. My son did not want me to completely destroy it and he plays a lot with the new one.
