  1. I thought I'd build something while waiting for my E-Wing parts. I don't intend to build this IRL any time soon, but I've not seen many Lego versions of the Starviper, so I decided to see how it would turn out. So I present possibly the most awkwardly shaped ship in Star Wars. :P And a reference. If I ever get around to building it for real, I'll be sure to bump this. :) New version with instructions. https://studio.bricklink.com/v2/build/model.page?idModel=6733
  2. Update 2: I finally solved the problem with the wings (only being held in place by gravity) in a way that doesn't look too clunky. Now the model is a bit more swooshable ;) Update: It's difficult to stop trying to improve your creation but this should be the final version. I cleaned up the colorsceme a bit, added a bit more detail to the wingtips and modified the wing cannons and thrusters. Hi and thanks for looking at my first post, After seeing the render of the E-Wing from Fate of the Galaxy I wanted to build a Lego version of it. After a two weeks of improving my design this is the endproduct: While I tried to recreate the original model as exact as possible I made some small changes and I had some problems recreating the nose section. I'm no expert with snot techniques and I couldn't find a better cockpit piece. In the end I combined the nose of the 4502 X-Wing and 7259 ARC-170. The rear hatch was inspired by the 75051 Jedi Scout fighter. I build a lot of slightly different versions of the E-Wing and I included an older version with another cockpit piece in the LDD file. In the file there is a small gap in the nose section. In a brick built version the gap can be filled with a 2x2 plate.
  3. Hello everyone, I'm finally back with a new model! This is was built on impulse from all the medium-light-nougat-brown (?) pieces I had lying around. It's a Yorik-Et, the main starfighter of the Yuuzhan Vong Empire. All biological data can be found here: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Yorik-Et You can find more pictures on my flickr page. I'll add some with better lighting this upcoming weekend. Yorik-Et - main by Ephseb, auf Flickr Yorik-Et - w/ pilot by Ephseb, auf Flickr If you're wondering why the MOCs I posted on EB so far were all of a not-really-high quality, the answer is rather simple: I'm saving my best models for upcoming contests Hopefully it will pay off... In the meantime, look out for my next post - a medium-scale Victory-class star destroyer.
  4. First of all, I'm a little sad that most of my custom figures - which I can assure you are much better than these - aren't eligible for this contest. But giving up? That's not the Jedi way. I present: My tribute to some of the Expanded Universe's most famous characters, in this case, straight from the comic series Tales Of The Jedi and Knights Of The Old Republic, and of course the KOTOR videogames. Because Lego still hasn't made yellow lightsaber blades, the old „green" ones were used instead. Picture 1 From left to right: Zayne Carrick - Darth Nihilus - Exar Kun - Darth Malak - Bastila Shan Picture 2 One more, with better lighting: Picture 3 Again, I swear this isn't the best I can do - I hope you still like it and get inspired to make your own Legends figures! We can always help and learn from one another, like true Jedi. May the Force[4th] be with you!
  5. Just in time for the end of the contest - here is my entry, the former crown jewel of my MOC collection: The K-Wing! The photos sadly aren't as good as I'd like them to be, but I think everything should be recognizeable. 6. Since everyone is building X-wings, why not build something similar but less well known? The Z-95 Headhunter is one that has many variations both in Canon and Legends, the most notable ones being the "X-wing without the S-foils" and that really ugly one shown in The Clone Wars series. I was influenced by various maquettes and illustrations of a Z-95 with the big engines. My take on the starfighter is that it's a newer model produced in the post-ROTJ era, with influences from its distant cousin, the T-70 X-wing. I worked 3 weeks on this, and incorporates some crazy building techniques influenced by many people on this forum. I'm not to happy with some of the results, it's not as perfect as, say, Jerac's MOC, but then again I'm kinda new at this... There are more pics at the flickr album and may post more. Lastly, a small scene with an upcoming MOC...
  7. hey everyone hope you enjoy this small MOC I threw together (based on empire at war) to break some of the thin ice between the season finale of Jabiim season I and the start of Jabiim season II.
  8. This is my latest exhibition model, it was displayed at the Star Wars event in Legoland Germany a couple of weeks ago. For everyone missing it, I gonna show you these pictures. And you may read the backstory based on the comic "Crimson Empire". After Palpatine's takeover he built an elite exademy on the barren planet of Yinchorr, to train the best soldiers in the galaxy - The Royal Guards. Only the hardest could stand the training. In the year 4 ABY the Empreror himself and his scholar Vader visited the academy to put the recruit's abilites on a test. At he fighting pit named "The Squall" Vader was fighting against the best of class Burr Danid. Beating him was no problem for him, and instead of showing mercy, he pushed his opponent down the squall. Thanks for your feedback, greets from Disco
  9. A small model I whipped up in LDD in the timespace of about 25 minutes. Based on the Eclipse Dreadnought used by the Empire around six years after the Battle of Endor. Comments? Suggestions?
