    New Clone Wars Comic [WIP]

Started working on this a while back trying to find a style I like. I'm going for a hand-drawn style that I don't actually have to draw :) Does this look too much like what it is (image processed renders)? Feedback most welcome!

    Series: A Brickish Space Comic

Hi, I recently started a comic with Lego space :http://abrickishspac...ic.webcomic.ws/ I will update this thread whenever I make a new comic. New strips will be added every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Any C&C would be greatly appreciated.
  3. Here is a project that I have been maturing for 4 years and which finally takes shape from this year, inspired by a french comic strip from Arthur De Pins.. Throughout this topic, you can follow the progress of the project and the WIP. This first post will bring together only the completed games and winks to the universe. For those who do not know Zombillenium, visit Dupuis, the editor of Arthur de Pins (link in french): https://www.dupuis.com/seriebd/zombillenium/3204 Park map: 1. Gretchen and his Mini Cooper S : 2. Carousel with skulls : Great inspiration from those found in the comic strip park, but which I found a bit repetitive, especially this one. 3. 4. So.... There's a new DC comic where a teenager takes on the mantle of The Monkey King, becoming The Monkey Prince. The story, set at least partly in Gotham City, features The King Bull Demon, Shifu Pigsy, Nezha, Red Boy, Princess Iron Fan etc.. I'm cautiously hoping it does well and expands on the Monkie Kid lore, hopefully making The Journey To The West more popular in America and Europe etc, so Lego may release the Monkie Kid sets in more places and continue with further seasons of the show so that season 4/the next special isn't necessarily the end of MK's animated adventures. "Introducing the newest hero in the DCU, the great sage, equal to the heavens, better than his predecessor the legendary Monkey King, even better than the Justice League—and definitely the Teen Titans—(actually, all the heroes combined), everyone put your hands together for…the Monkey Prince! Marcus Sun moves around a lot because his adoptive parents are freelance henchpeople, so this month he finds himself as the new kid at Gotham City High School, where a mysterious man with pig features asks Marcus to walk through a water curtain to reveal himself as who Marcus really is…someone who has adventured through The Journey to the West, can transform into 72 different formations, can clone himself using his hairs, and is called…the Monkey Prince!" https://bleedingcool.com/comics/new-10-page-dc-comic-monkey-prince-0-in-full/

    [MOC] Rantanplan Diorama

Hello, this is a diorama that I designed for a friend. I´s based on the Lucky Luke comics by Morris. Unlike my other designs it´s digital and the building technique is very much different from my normal MOCs.

    The Hour of Chaos

Hello Eurobricks! I dedided to make a comic book from my Xenoarchaeologist 3: The Hour of Chaos photo story which is set in the universe of Warhammer 40,000 science fantasy tabletop game. Here are two first pages. The new parts will be added as comments to this post if you will be interested in the story. Additional photography: @Illarion Planet background: StarCraft II Check my comic album on Flickr!
  9. I've posted my first 44 page Lego webcomic story online. I know nothing about photo editing, so hopefully it will start to look better as I learn more and post more stories. I call it "Horrors of the Hidden Side" and my first 44 page installment chapter is called "There's No Such Thing As Ghosts!" I was fed up of there not being a TV show or a decent comic series based on the recent Lego theme "Lego; Hidden Side" so I decided to create my own re-imagining of the theme as an ongoing comic series expanding on the stories of the webisodes and having more in depth story arcs etc. I decided to try and have it be a bit edgier than the source material so I describe it as PG-13 due to potential violence/death/occultism/horror/drug & alcohol use etc. that may feature in future stories. I'm aiming for it to be an ongoing horror/adventure series covering lots of struggles of the Ghost Hunters taking on different demons, monsters and ghosts, with the overall story arcs involving Nehmaar Reem and Lady Evelina D'Ombre. I hope I've provided the correct information to have it added to this forum? https://www.deviantart.com/renzoknight/art/Chapter-1-title-page-855711111

    Għajn Tuffieħa Escape

Hey, on Redbeard's Cove fanpage you can find new pirate short comic "Għajn Tuffieħa Escape" chapter one... and other images ☠️?? I took a lot of Redbeard's photos and had to do something :) Għajn Tuffieħa Tower was built in 1637 on the cliffs overlooking Għajn Tuffieħa Bay close to Mellieħa. The tower was designed by the Italian architect Vincenzo Maculani. It was originally armed with a ½-pounder gun, and its garrison consisted of a captain and three men (source: Wikipedia) Link: https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=141259120615513&id=109709893770436&sfnsn=mo
  13. Hey everyone, here's a new thing I'm making: To be continued (soon!)... EDIT: I just realized there's a subforum for comics, I'll post this there, maybe a mod can remove this one. Sorry about that!
  14. “Mr. Horton,” Captain Matthew Hawes said as he crossed the gun deck of the old galleon. “How is the refit coming along?” “Slowly and expensively sir,” said Horton. “It seems more of her is rotted through than anticipated. At this rate, we’d likely been better served to have purchased a new ship outright.” “Perhaps, but this particular ship has something to offer that others cannot.” Captain Hawes said as he ran his hand along the grain of an old plank softened by the sea. Horton furrowed his brow. “What’s that sir?” Captain Hawes paused before turning to leave. “A story to tell.” I am currently building a Class 5 or 6 galleon named "The Rosa Lee" and since it is taking more time (and costing far more money) than anticipated, I figure I'd post several little narratives along the way to show off the progress I've made thus far. More stories and images coming soon!

  16. Hi all I have recently won runner-up in Rebrick's LEGO Batman Returns to the Justice League contest and wanted to share the entry with you! In this contest, you had to create a comic strip no longer than five panels showing how Batman might return to the Justice League after the events of The LEGO Batman Movie. It sounded like fun, so I entered! I used LEGO Digital Designer and Bluerender to create the background of the Fortress of Solitude and photographed real minifigures, cut them out, and placed them over it. I tried to make their poses as expressive as I could, so I popped arms and legs out to achieve poses minifigures cannot usually make, just as is done in the LEGO films. I also erased parts of their faces while editing and gave them custom expressions, and added a slight blue glow to Batman's eyes. Also, the lines coming out from behind Batman in the third panel were photographed "antenna" pieces. I'm really happy to have been selected as a winner of the contest, and I hope you enjoy the comic! Thank you!

    [MOC] Toola The Frozen Tundra

Hi everyone, today we have a MOC on a rarely seen planet when it comes to both Star Wars Lore and Lego. This MOC takes place during the final hours of the clone wars and was more of a MOC where I could test some building techniques. Any constructive criticism and a rating would be appreciated. Thanks
  18. Unfortunately nobody has responded to my original German-speaking question in another (German) Lego forum. I try it here: Hello Although I myself have quite a lot of nerdiness to me, technical interests and hobbies, a certain film genre and hobbies that a "serious" adult should not have (?), I can start with the whole superhelden area, the starwarsfilms and also similar series little. Somehow I find the stories boring, very simplistic, humorless, politically far too correct and often too simple knit. Therefore, my question to the older fans (older in the sense of: Having a family of their own, have already participated in the professional life for a long time, the first destiny and crises have brought about, interested in "real" social / political issues - not only image newspaper and Facebook ...): What fascinates you at the superheldenstory, whether film, serial or comic? What is so special for you on Star Wars and similar film series? (No, I'm not interested in why Star Wars is better than Enterprise Enterprise, Battlestar Galactica, or is not). Signature: My nickname which I use in that forum. This text I have automatically translated with the Google translator. Lapidem
  19. (Mods, please note I wasn't sure where to put this, as it's a train / western / comic starring a few licensed Disney characters. Please put it where you think it should go!) In this thrilling tale of 60 miles-per-hour high speed adventure, the outlaw Blackheart Gang) switches a weapons-laden military train onto the same track as a unscheduled special, with disastrous consequences! See each sequence of this horrifying tale in colorized photographs and you too will ride the midnight train to Adventure! 7:07 PM - Denver Colorado: The military train pulled by engine 1 is heading out of the yard and onto the main line towards San Francisco. It is crewed by a small group of soldiers, plus fireman Samuel McGee and engineer Joseph W. Jackson. 8:00PM - Carson City, Nevada In another rail yard, the crew of the unscheduled special charter train pulled by loco number 3 is making sure the engine is spotless and ready to pick up it's party of potential railroad investors. The train is supposed to pass trough Fort Legoredo at 9:30 that evening, where it will let the military train pass by on a side track. 8:40PM - Fort Legoredo While making his hourly rounds, the station master of the Fort's railway station is ambushed by three Blackheart Gang members, and he is relieved of his switch keys. While trying to escape, he trips on an exposed rock and falls, where upon he is then shot dead. 9:23PM The switches are set for the freight train to fall into the hands of the gang, when a different whistle is heard from the other end of the track causing the bandits to hurriedly switch the tracks back to allow the special to pass by. 9:30PM With both train approaching the same switch at the same time, the gang works quickly to allow the passenger train pass by, but still diverting the convoy train. 9:32PM The engineer and fireman of the military train see what is about to happen and jump to the ground with the iron steed still powering on towards the switched track! 9:40PM The train reaches the end of the side track and derails, with steam and steel flying everywhere. Horses and cannons are sent scattered across the tracks, and the sleeping soldiers on-board will never wake again. 10:20PM After stealing all they and their horses can carry, the Blackheart gang set the steam engine to explode, then set off into the darkness. A posse rides out later that night from the local village to check out what made the explosion and they discover the gristly wreck. Meanwhile, out in the desert, the Blackheart gang begin to plan their next move. THE END Any and all thoughts, comments, complaints, and questions are welcome. This non-moving picture was shot on three 6 x 3 foot tables with a cell phone camera and no special effects... just so you know. Thanks for reading!!

  21. Presenting my LEGO Mighty Micro interpretation of the Ghostbusters (1984) Ecto-1! Ghostbusters, Ecto-1 (Mighty Micro) by Adeel Zubair This recreation of the Ecto-1 as a Mighty Micro was quite simple to design. It's ironic that the back of the model is the highlight of the whole model. I'm pretty sure you can guess what pieces were used at the front. NB - I didn't post a main photo of this MOC as it was a rather dull photograph, I attempted it several times and it just wasn't working. Thankfully the back came out perfectly! It's perspective and angle looks quite Chibi and comical with the right side wheels getting pressed into the ground as the Ecto-1 comes in to action! More Mighty Micros: www.flickr.com/photos/115928480@N03/sets/72157668082919843 Feedback and criticism is much appreciated. Adeel

  23. I've started a comic based on the events post-Episode VII. It's a comedy, but some strips will be quite serious. I'll try and update on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, but as life can get hectic, I may miss some updates. http://thebrickawakens.webcomic.ws/ Comments and Criticism is welcome. Thanks.

    [ESL-FB3] How to Steer (Comic)

Here is the big question (and a possible answer to it) how to steer a Balloon/Phlogisphere/Ballhover - presented as a photo-comic: (Hawksbrooke is meant to spell Hawksbrugh but the painter did not know that) Prithee, here is a fine picture of the new Eslandolean Ballhover: I hope you find this enjoyable - C&C welcome!
