Hello everyone! Here is my "last-minute" creation for the Expand the Winter Village VI contest. It's a 2 in 1 building. The main building is an antique store, but it's a little bit big if we compare it with other Winter Village LEGO sets, isn't it? That's why we can open it up and get two smaller, but more interesting buildings: an antique store and an old house. Got 4 dark red profile bricks and just had to put them to some good use! This, by the way, is Guy's Uncle. Not quite sure what exactly he is doing in Weelond, but... here he is! I decided to do an SK style slide-out interior - pretty fun and remarkably easy! I'm on a roll! This pirate era stuff is fun! C&C welcome! This is my third free-build this month.

My entry for Category A of the Frozen Beyond contest. There's a full interior in the manor, via pull out rooms: dining hall, armory, storage room, barracks and bedroom. The doors and trapdoor are functional. Sir Glorfindel and a group of valiant Mitgardian warriors have been serving as a task force to help defeat the Algus from destroying more Mitgardian lands and homes. Previously: Part 3 Turning The Mark Now that they believed they had conclusive proof of Malek's treason, the Desert King authorized his execution. Since Malek was still abroad in Kaliphlin, an assassin was hired to finish him as quickly and quietly as possible. The assassin found Malek collecting taxes from vendors in a market, and positioned himself on the roof of a nearby house, tying up the lady who was sitting there. Gideon was walking along the bustling Market street, when he noticed a crossbow pointing out from behind one of the poles that held the flags. It was pointing right at the official just in front of him. With lightning reflexes, he dove at the official, knocking him to the side and out of danger for the moment. The ruckus drew Erudhalion's attention, and he quickly spotted the assassin. It appeared he wasn't the only one, as a formidable lady was already at the top of the stairs, and had her sword half-drawn. Realizing he had been spotted, the assassin turned and drew his sword, ready to fight. By now, the Captain of the guard had also spotted him, and was about to strike him down, but was too slow, as the woman had already disarmed the man. The guards quickly came, tied him up, and escorted him to the city jail. The official thanked Gideon, the Lady, and Erudhalion profusely for saving his life. The lady then offered to accompany him to a safe location in case any more attempts were made on his life. To be continued... "On the contrary, my loyalty is to the rightful rulers of Kaliphlin!" "Malek, what is going on here? Who is this?" "I'm a former friend and colleague of Malek here, but He has changed that. There seems to be nothing left to say, I'm afraid I have no choice but to carry out my duty to the King." He then charged at Malek, sword drawn, but the peasants, quickly countered his attack and disarmed the mummy officer. Hello everybody! This is my intro for my sigfig Ulrich von Koehler and his dog Bernd. Ulrich von Koehler was sitting in his dinner room planing the next step in aiding his country, Eslandola, to grow in power and prosperity. The next step was to settle on one of the two colonies that MCTC already had taken. This was not an easy task, so the decision had to be carefully chosen. Bernd, Ulrich's dog, was standing on the floor and was eager to start biting pieces of his recently received bone. This was an example of when Bernd don't wanted to be disturbed! There was some weapons hanging on the wall, because Ulrich thought it was best to be ready to defend yourself and anyone close in most situations. That was a good thing with Bernd, he was a superior watchdog, so Ulrich could relax and do his tasks untill Bernd started to bark! His parents had passed away awhile ago and it was a reason, apart from being eslandolan, why Ulrich had so much golden property in his house. Apart from his heritage Ulrich wasn't so rich, but his plan was to increase his wealth and prosperity in large numbers like a true eslandolan! He already had some crew and soon he would recieve his new merchant vessel! House of Ulrich von Koehler by Tobias Andersson, on Flickr On the wall you could find a painting of a ship. This wasn't just a ship, not a boat dissapering in the multitude of ships, no this was "The Golden Turtle"! From a time pretty long ago this vessel was one of the trading flagships of Eslandola and it was a property of Ulrich's grandfather's father, Walther von Koehler. Ulrich had been told a lot of stories about this ship and Walther. There were stories about Walther facing pirates on the sea, about shippings of enormous quantity and profit and stories about surviving storms so intense that an ordinary ship would be devoured in a blink of an eye. Walther is kind of a hero to Ulrich and in many ways he want to be more like Walther! And another castle MOC! Here's my latest work The Blacksmith: Near the center of the village sits the home of the village blacksmith. Working out of a small shop connected to his house, the blacksmith provides trustworthy work to the local farmers, soldiers, and craftsmen who need a horse shoed, a plough sharpened, or a tool repaired. The sound of his hammer striking metal can be heard throughout the countryside, and the cozy outdoor shop often serves as the site of friendly socialization and sharing of news for the village residents. Another build incorporating the technic-pin roof technique I've been playing with. I love the way it looks and the versatility of it's shape, but it can really be a pain to work with. Also, building houses is kinda hard...getting the roof shape and building proportions right can be complicated. Something I need to practice more. Thanks for looking! Soli Deo Gloria!

I actually built his MOC towards the end of the summer, but I have only just found the time to document it. It is a small building built to the Usonian Style. The Usonian Style House was first designed in mid thirties by American Architect Frank Llloyd Wright. They were designed to control costs during the economic depression, Wrights Usonian houses had no attics, no basements, little ornamentation and utilised open plan living. This was one of those builds, that I started just because I wanted to build something, but somehow I managed to work it into a RPG challenge in the Lands of Mythron on MOCpages. I also added some pink because I'm a bit short on bley… (SHIP pictures coming soon hopefully). The tree is one of my favorite parts, and I tried to make the house different than my last one (https://www.flickr.c...posted-public/) by adding simple things like the protruding door and the window. Please tell me what you think! Criticism is always appreciated.

Hey all! Have you guys ever considered to live your life as a hermit? Probably not, but after reading(and watching) this thread you maybe want.. :) Cause my latest build i just finished is a hermit house, located in Nocturnus, somewhere in the mountains around Kyrrath... Well, Here are the pics: It was pretty fun and challenging to build, and sometimes kinda frustrating :c It actualy is sturdier than it looks it is.... Dear Journal, I returned to Uncle Byron's today, and he was delighted with the new plant variety I brought. However, he's now looking to find a rare crystal rumored to be found on the dangerous low islands. I've never ventured so close to the water before, and will need to use a smaller more maneuverable ship. ~Little John Another build based in the Isles of Aura, I'll be using this for my first build in the Odyssey category of the CBC. (MOC) The Incredible Schrunken Hearse (monsterfighters)

Kinda disappointed by the non-compatibility of the two Monsterfighters sets 'vampyre hearse' and 'haunted house', I build the house a bit larger and now the hearse a bit smaller. The hearse had allready been modded to my own taste, but now was the time to build a smaller version for my house. First time I ever tried and build a 7-stud wide car. And man, that comes with problems... It took me quite a while but I think I did okay. I used snot techniques, for instance the front-end and the windscreen. Most of the rest is a basic traditional Lego build. Oh, and it is still minifig-friendly. It contains a zombie-chaufeur and a vampyre-filled coffin! ^ Figuring out how to narrow the wheelspacing was quite a challenge. It is now hold on by a single row of 4 studs and two 2x2 jumperplates. ^ As compared to my 'original' hearse... ^ The new version has the coffin sticking out a bit in the back, for a more grotesque view Well, it does add a little bit of drama ofcourse... ^ 7-studs vs 8-studs ^ The reason for schrinking the hearse: My Modified Haunted House. Both look way better together as well as on their own. -

Hi and welcome to all of you. I'd like to introduce myself here at the eurobricks forum. I'm quite new here and so i started building modulars wit LDD only a short time ago. Here is my first attempt of designing a modular supermarket. Only first steps are done, but I'll post more images step by step. I'd like you to comment on what you are seeing and maybe you have some good hints for a noob like me. The cash desk and the trash container in the backyard are the only two details I have finished yet.

Having recently taken inspiration from SearchFunction's 'Living Small' builds, I have finally gotten around to finishing this MOC. It has been rebuilt a few times, reducing the size to try and get the scale right. I would be more happy with more detail on the interior but I am signing this off as finished, so I can move on to my next project. I present to you a Bungalow with Dormer. Currently resided in by Dave the Flower Cart seller. This building comprises of an enterance hall with stairs to the first floor. On the gorund floor, a spacious and well equipt kitchen leads you to the light and very large 'lounge diner', complete with french doors to the garden, bay window to the front, fireplace and an inviting bay window seat. Upstairs we have the large master suite, which has its own sizeable ensuite bathroom. It took me ages to get the roof to sit correctly. It is largely based on SearchFunctions plate design, however i have added some 2x2 tiles to try and get that slate roof effect. I did have skylights in one version of the second floor but it didnt give me much room to work with so I went with the dormers instead. Planning out the top floor was very tricky due to where the stairs came up and not eating into the bedroom too much with unnessecary walls and corridors. With regards to the large amount of Tan... this is what happens when you buy the Tower Bridge as your first set for building mocs with. Hey ho, it doesnt look too bad, Struggled with detailing the exterior, hopefully the next one will be better right? There are more pictures on my Flickr account. Hi everybody ! Today I present to you one of my latest and biggest creation : Plum Creek (the Ingalls' house) from the famous TV show : Little House on the Prairie. -The TV show relates us the story of a pionneer family : the Ingalls. Charles and Caroline have three daughters, Mary, Laura and Carrie. Charles builds their house at Plum Creek, a place not far from the village Walnut Grove. The family settle here and live many different adventures through 9 seasons and more...- I started this project one year and a half ago. The first stage was to find how to do the walls of the house. I wanted to get something strong and with a "planks effect". The way I did it is not very complicated : some SNOT did the job Then I had not many troubles to finished the house, and build the rest of the farm (such as the barn). I wanted to have on this MOC some elements that I judged amblematic of the show : the stream, the carriage, a big tree... I really wanted to do the house and the barn as close as possible to the real ones, and I'm quite pleased with the result The final stage was to "design" the minifigs. What would be the house without great minifigs of the family members to go with Except for Charles (thanks to the Hobbit ), I didn't find torsos which suit the pioneer girls. Therefore, I had to draw it myself For that, I used the tutorial on EB (I don't find it anymore...), but I agree with you to say that it isn't great art I create a Lego Ideas project. I have a question. I really enjoying building minifigure scale houses, however I always hit a bit of a brick wall (boom boom) when I get to the roof. I have tried with plates and tiles - looks good, but corners etc can be complicated. I also like the regular Roof Tile bricks that Creator houses are built with, they are certainly easier to get around corners and build more complex roof structures with. My question is: Is using the standard Roof Tile (Sloping Brick) considered a bit basic for a build of any detail? Interested in your opinions! Cheers
