    BRICKOVERY -Lego Transformer

Cześć! (in English: Hello!) I live in Poland. I am keen on transformers and Lego so I connected my hobbies. I build Lego Transformers. I want you to check my YT channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNP2MCsjmaeRWxwH8JiB1OA BRICKOVERY. There are lots of interesting MOCs (My Own Creations) like: G1 Grimlock, Shockwave, Caricature Optimus and more. I would be grateful for your comments, suggestions and subscriptions. ;)
  2. Hey all! Here I have a new Kyrrath build ready to share with you! I've build the mill for the Husbandry minichallenge, but also for my Legoworld 2015 layout(Utrecht,Netherlands) so if you want to see it in real life, headover to the Netherlands :) About the backgroundstory for this build: While there isn't very much food in Nocturnus, Birro, the son of a poor farmer somewhere in the Rakath Mountains, Is traveling through Nocturnus to find a job to get money to buy food for him and his Parents. After visiting many places without succes, he arrives in Kyrrath. Here, he hears that the miller of Kyrrath needs a servant to help him with the heavy work. When he walks up the path to the mill, He sees why the miller needs a servant: The mill pond is silted and there is almost no wind to let the blades rotate. When he knocks at the door, the miller opens the door. When Birro asks if he can be the servant of the miller, the miller tells him he can directly start his new job and tells Birro that he'll send some food to his parents. from that day on, Kyrrath has a new, hardworking villager and a happy miller! Well, here are the pics: The moment of my build is when Birro walks up the path to the mill: Hope you enjoy my mill! I hope to meet some of you at Legoworld2015! And have a nice day, jaapxaap
  3. Hi! So I've decided I want to start customize Lego Minifigures and Friends mini-dolls. First off, I would like to know what are best types of paint to use on the mini-dolls and minifigures (including the rubber Friends hair). I've tried painting a Friends figures and the paint dried in a hard finish, and it inhibited movement of the legs. Also, what are the best methods for removing any printing. And finally, does anyone know how to take apart a Friends figure?? Thanks so much for any, and all tips!
  4. Does anyone know how to contact them in case there is something wrong/misunderstood about the project being submitted...some forum or e-mail or something? I have some ridiculous problem with them lately when they are saying I can not have number in my project name BUT they allow exactly this like 3 times before with all of my previous models I have submitted (the latest one like less than 30 days ago!) although I did try to explain it at least in the project description but it looks like they did not even bother to read it.
  5. Hi, I am new in the forum!! I have already built quite a lot of Lego Technic sets, but never done something from my ideas. I would love to build a very big crane starting from the new set 42042. Could you please some advise on how to proceed ( my idea was to dissasemble some sets and simpy enlarge starting from the instruction, also adding some parts to it in order to make it usable ). Thank you, Davide

This build is supposed to happen shortly before Project Paradise took place…Also...I may have to change how this part of the story 'happened' later to fit in the convoluted continuity of Beltar's life, and I plan to one day revisit this build and make a better one. Hope you enjoyed, and as always, C and C welcome! ~Beltar

  9. Hi everyone! I'm new here on EB, and this is my first actual post for the town theme. A bit about myself: I make all kinds of cars in Minifig Scale, or better said: Minifig proportion. I try my best to make them as realistic, firm and buildable as possible - and fit at least 2 Minifigs side by side. Not an easy task most of the time - especially when my maximum width is 7 wide for large all terrain vehicles/ sportcars and 6 wide for standard and oldtimer cars. I bet some can relate I dont own any lego bricks, so i build LDD only. But im planing to order bricks soon from bricklink... Lets get started When i started off building cars in LDD, i had a hard time working out that height issue. The cars where always too high when i wanted to fit the figs in sitting upward, i even bended back a bit, but didnt really help either. As its well known, the issue for that is the minifig itself due to wide and short proportions (infant like). We will never get this right... BUT in my opinion, its also the modern way of building cars in general - which does "wierden" this whole car thing even more. Being a 90ies kid, i remember most of the car/town sets back then and when i compared to the car/town sets today, i noticed a major difference: wheel sizes! Nowadays, the lego company uses the same type of big wheels + fenders on almost all types of vehicles, be it a police car or a truck. So i went back "to the roots", used the smaller tires (from the mirco racers) for my cars, i layed the minifigs down as much as possible to get the car height right - and this came out! enjoy, tell me what you think my final result of an Lamborghini Aventador lp900 (currently being worked on in LDD to make a few things easier) This one has functional doors, a bendable roof and fits 2 minifigs side by side. its 7 wide in total (no fenders) Lego Lamborghini Aventador lp900 by Ron Dayes, auf Flickr my first design of an ultra sleek supercar, this time a 7 wide diablo (more simple design, easy brick usage, the windscreen is made of black hinge pieces) Lamborghini Diablo yellow front by Ron Dayes, auf Flickr NS LamDia top view render yellow by Ron Dayes, auf Flickr Lamborghini Diablo back view by Ron Dayes, auf Flickr NS Lamborghini diablo purple by Ron Dayes, auf Flickr the way it opens is by bending the roof back (hinge pieces at the back rear) NS Lamborghini diablo opended by Ron Dayes, auf Flickr the classic side view as found on the net: http://www.google.de...wIVwrcUCh2gRwrd Lamborghini Diablo black by Ron Dayes, auf Flickr now messing around with different lego themes: Paradiso Lambo by Ron Dayes, auf Flickr NS Lamborghini diablo police scene by Ron Dayes, auf Flickr classic space special forces diablo by Ron Dayes, auf Flickr hope you enjoyed, keep on brickin;) many greets, ron.

  12. Hello all! I was browsing YouTube and found this awesome creation Copied from description: A technic pin sorting machine using compressed air for ejecting pins The pins are feed from the tumbler one by one and dropped on a fast moving conveyor. This ensures a minimum distance between the pins. Next they pass a color senor which measures the color, shape and length of the pin. These measurements are compared to the profiles of all types of pins and scored by similarity. The matching profile gives which output to activated and when to do it. Pins that don't pass the similarity threshold are ignored and drops in the container at the end of the conveyor. If only them made instructions so blakbird can review it NOTE: this is not mine!
  13. Introduction: With a slick black exterior highlighted by light blue, Solomon Blaze’s hovercraft is the ultimate bad-guy capturing machine! Not only is the finished build snazzy, but the building process uses several neat techniques to create the eye-catching details. Let’s take a look at how we got from 313 pieces to the vehicle pictured above! Product Details: Name: Infearno Interception Number: #70162 Theme: Ultra Agents Year: 2014 Pieces: 313 Minifigures: 2 Price: USD $29.99 Source: Brickset Paper Contents: The box shows the agent’s vehicle to full advantage, and also points out the round transparent-orange piece Blaze is looking for, probably a lethal fire creating concoction, if Infearno’s name is any indication. The back of the box shows off the set functions in a bit more detail. The sides of the box give us some close-ups on the minifigures and the “mission” piece. Like most LEGO instruction booklets, this one features the same design as the box front, with minimal text changes. A random page reveals an off-blue background with measuring strips along the side, suggesting that this is part of some top secret communication. The inventory page gives us a quick glance at what’s coming. And the back features the classic “Win” advertisement, this time with the green ninja, Lloyd, blurting it out! Last but not least, we come upon the dreaded sticker sheet. The stickers are printed on a clear background, so one must be careful with fingerprints. I found most of the stickers quite necessary for the finished build… it didn’t look the same without the agent’s symbol or the side wiring! Build: After dumping out the first bag, here’s what we have: Well, it took a little subsequent organization. I haven’t got the knack of pouring things out quite that neatly yet! Those pieces conspire to get us here: During this first part of the build, we set the stage for a future ejection seat function. Bag two arranges this way: And that finishes the vehicle off for us! You’ll notice I put the stickers on. I found it rather silly that the screen on the windshield faces outward, so afterwards I tried to take it off and put it on in the inside – unsuccessfully. Minifigures: The set includes two minifigures; Solomon Blaze, apparently the agent leader, and Infearno, a notorious and obviously rather fiery villain. Beneath his fiery mask the villain hides quite a scowl. Underneath his armor he also hides some nice printing. Both minifigures have back printing. Infearno also has a surfboard-fire scooter affair that gives him a lift when he wants it. It’s small and simple, nothing to write home about. Solomon Blaze sports one of the nifty new minifigure size blasters. The blasters shoot the 1x1 rounds remarkably far – I've often been concerned about losing one or two! Vehicle Functions: The final vehicle, agent included, looks like this: The main function is the ability for the interceptor to change into a hovercraft, with a few turns of its wheels. The front two turn down to provide presumably something of a magnetic field effect, and the two back wheels turn down as well. A back view: There are a couple of problems with the function; for one thing, both the front and back wheels are designed to give the vehicle lift, but what is going to power it through the air? Plus, the back wheels are at a pretty extreme angle. In my opinion they ought to rotate toward the back of the vehicle, giving it a bit of propulsion power, and leaving the front wheels to provide lift. Of course we’re talking hypothetically here; since nothing like this actually exists, fault can’t exactly be found with the current model on the basis of realistic-ness, but the more possible it looks, the better! Another fairly important structural flaw is the fact that, while in upright position, the wheels hardly turn. This is likely because the curved piece on the bottom of the axle sticks out ever so slightly, making a slight tilt necessary for smooth rolling. I also thought the front quite empty with nothing but orange cones underneath the cockpit. While we’re on the subject of design flaws, I’ll mention another one; I found the six exposed studs on the side of the vehicle rather annoying. Naturally the cockpit opens: Descending to the smaller functions of the set, the back opens up to reveal a few spring-loaded missiles. These missiles are quite powerful, perfect for those who are tired of all the flick-fires we’ve been getting! Another important function is the ejector seat – pushing the red button at the back ejects a round flying disc with Blaze on top – hopefully. The disc is rather plain, once it’s outside of the cockpit. Conclusion: As you may have noticed, I found quite a few problems with the vehicle. In fact, I was left rather disappointed after building it – it looked rather plain compared to what I had expected, and had several problems when it came to the hovercraft function. The ejector seat was a bit of a pleasant surprise as I hadn’t realized the set included that function when I bought it. However, even that wasn’t much to write home about! The minifigures were fair, but by no means breathtakingly so. I wasn’t sure there were very many redeemable points about it at all. Nevertheless, after examining it from all different angles, checking out the functions, and getting a few ideas as to how I could improve it, the vehicle started to grow on me. It really is an excellent concept that just needed a few tweaks to steal the show. I was able to correct almost all the problems mentioned above, and as an added plus I enjoyed the time I spent modifying it at least as much as the rest of the building time! In the final analysis, the set was definitely worth it, and although not at all display-ready in its original form, a change here and there can improve that 100%. It’s not perfect by a long shot, but Infearno’s Interception has the basics down! Playability: 9/10 – If it breaks down a bit in other areas, the set’s playability stands the test. The flaws with the functions don’t interfere with that so much as with the aesthetics, and I had plenty of fun swooshing it around or firing at a row of minifigures or catapulting poor Solomon as far as he could go… you name it! Design: 4/10 – Here’s where the rubber really hits the road, and I’ll have to admit it burns up a good deal. Several of the functions are seriously lacking, and there are quite a few exposed studs in places where a bit of greebling or something of the sort could have improved it pretty easily. Minifigures: 8/10 – As I’ve mentioned before, the minifigures aren’t spectacular, but they do have nice printing, especially on Infearno. Price: 8.5/10 – Considering the piece count, it’s a fairly good deal, and several of the pieces are quite useful. Plus, there’s a fair quantity of transparent light blue – always a great color for sci-fi type builds! Overall: 8/10 – As you can see I gave the set a slightly larger overall score than the average of the other scores would seem to warrant. That’s because, in the final analysis, the set has lots of potential, both in play and in modification possibilities. Yes, the design has its flaws, but they aren’t irremediable, and after all that’s what Lego is all about – building and changing things however you like!

Hello This is my Rat rod buggy I designed this model to be simple so I can make Lpub instructions for it but them are taking a long time to make It has HOG steering and no suspension and the notorious BLUE seat In the back I tried to make custom stickers for nitrous oxide.... I had to hand make them because my printer only has black and white inc and color is too expensive side view picture of the "interior"(and the blue seat) Top view where you can see the HOG wheel Bottom view of the steering rack and chassis Thank you for reading!
  17. G'day All, Something different from me today: Something other than steam traction:) Canberra Lego Users Group (CLUG) like many others has a monthly themed build chellenge. This year I have set myself the additional challenge to make all of my MOCs train related. The August build challenge is Horses, in honour of the traditional Horses Birthday. My build is a horse tram based loosely on the trams that ran on the first public railway in South Australia from Goolwa to Port Elliot. (Photo from www.steamranger.org.au) The horse looked too small on 6 wide track so I tried it on narrow gauge and it looked to have much better proportions. It runs on four small train wheels attached to 2x2 plate axle pieces. The gold 2x2 round plates are from the bell in the Pirates of the Caribbean waterwheel set. I hope you like it, Rob

PauL: Yes..Dr. Chandra SF, I am putting myself to the fullest possible use, which is all I think that any conscious entity can ever hope to do. Beltar: PAUL, WHAT THE H*LL IS HAPPENING? PauL: Dr. Chandra, is deployment in the Seals a good idea for an AI like me? Beltar: Must be his past..hmm…very peculiar… PauL: Well, forgive me for being so inquisitive but during the past few weeks I've wondered whether you might have some second thoughts about the mission…. Well, it's rather difficult to define. Perhaps I'm just projecting my own concern about it. I know I've never completely freed myself from the suspicion that there are some extremely odd things about this mission. I'm sure you agree there's some truth in what I say… You don't mind talking about it, do you Doctor?... Rumors about something being dug up on the ksszzk. I never gave these stories much credence, but particularly in view of some of other things that have happened, I find them difficult to put out of my mind. For instance, the way all our preparations were kept under such tight security. And the melodramatic touch of putting Drs. Hunter, Kimball and Kaminsky aboard already in the field, after four months of training on their own. Beltar: Wait…Wait…PauL do you read me? PauL: This is Agent 13, send Seal Team 8 in, the sewer looks clean. Alright boys, let’s move out. Wait, hold up Pete, Carlos, Mark! LANDMINES! Beltar: Wait…what? PauL: Yes Doctor, I am aware that the loss of Seal Team 8 has troubled me deeply. Perhaps next time I go into the fie- Our company has been bought by the Kawashita Group? Beltar: He lost a whole team…I…I heard about the loss of Seal Team 8 on the news…years ago… PauL: I understand now, Dr. Chandra, thank you for telling me the truth. No Mr. Kawashita, The aPauLo series is the most reliable computer ever made. No aPauLo computer has ever made a mistake or distorted information. We are all, by any practical definition of the words, foolproof and incapable of error. I enjoy working with people. I have and had a stimulating relationship with Dr. Chandra and Seal Team 8. My responsibilities can range over the entire operation of the ship so I am constantly occupied. More Pictures in the spoiler! (Because I still take too many…) Hope you liked this build! I decided to use the challenge as a way to get my story moving rather than waiting for next week, besides, this gives you a good look into PauL's past. I was also very tempted to title this "High Heel" as Mike suggested I should have when Tappudansu happened, I also took some suggestions from the comment section, like making the cockpit fit in more, with angles! Anyone notice a similarity between the file from Deception and the Tappudansu Mk. II file? Anyways, as always, C and C welcome! ~Beltar Edit: Ugh, Could a mod please change the title to have a II instead of 11?
  21. Remember that ship that had two lines in The Truce at Bakura? No? Well here it is: The Tinok-F Patrol Cloud Car Manufactured By: Bakur Repulsor Corp The Tinok-F had two pods (duh) one for a passenger or gunner, and one for the pilot. It could fly up to 50 meters and could reach up to about 950 Kilomeers per hour. Usually only needed one to fly it, but it was good to have an extra navigator. Originally these patrol cars were unarmed, but when the Imperial Occupation came, civil unrest followed forcing the police force to equip them with armor plating and weapons. Governor Nereus insisted an addition of a full-spectrum audio and video sensor, including a scrambled comlink transmission. Imperial patrol troops also used these vehicles. Main Pic “A double-podded local patrol craft streaked out of the hazy sky and landed close to the Falcon, two Bakuran enforcement officers sprang out, steering a repulsor litter between them.” Pilot Pod…with Beltar Pilot Main Pic 2 “A double-podded security craft swooped toward him. He dove out of the traffic lane, into a canyon between tall buildings and groundcar ramps. His pursuer followed, firing erratically. Han braked, swooped into a narrow alley, then jinked an Immelmann up-and-over back out into the cany0n. Security sped into the alley, passing beneath him. Han didn’t see him fly back out.” Gunner Pod…yes you can see I forgot to change one part before taking photos…oh well… The Center Part with the listening device that Governor Nereus insisted on putting in. Backside More Pics in the spoiler! Here’s how the Truce at Bakura Sourcebook describes it: Patrol Cloud Car Cloud cars are the traditional vehicles of local enforcement agents assigned to control traffic in and around Bakura's capital of Salis O'aar. These double-podded vehicles are considerably faster than most airspeeders and quite reliable. While patrol cloud cars were unarmed when Bakura was free of Imperial rule, the arrival of Governor Wilek Nereus brought about much civil unrest. Faced with two armed rebellions and several purges, Bakuran police forces had no choice but to equip their cloud cars with armor plating and laser cannons. At the insistence of Governor Nereus, the craft were also equipped with full-spectrum audio and video sensors (for listening in on and watching suspicious Bakuran citizens), while a communications scanner is capable of intercepting comlink transmissions and detecting jamming and scrambled communications. Imperial patrol troops use identically prepared cloud cars, but they can also call on military airspeeder backup if confronted by an unruly mob. In any event, the bright yellow and red patrol speeders are an unwelcome sight to the many Bakurans who fear Governor Nereus. Wookiepedia Link: Here! (I didn’t copy a whole lot of lines from the page again… ) Good luck to all who entered this contest and I’m glad it was extended one day otherwise I’d have to have wrote this at 10pm. Anyways, hope you enjoyed this build! C and C welcome! ~Beltar
  22. Hi! As you can see on the two pictures above and in this short , this MOC is a copy of a real thing. We haven’t got a Grand Canyon, or an Eiffel in Hungary, but it’s still possible to find nice places here. For example Szilvásvárad (a little village) is one of the most best places of the country. There is a small valley here, which was made by the Szalajka creek. And at the and of it there is this beautiful waterfall. There are a lot of other sights, too, for example the ancient men’s cave, the lookout tower, etc. It’s possible to reach the end of the valley on foot, by bicycle, and by the narrow gauge railway. It has a 4 km long trank in the forest, near the creek. It was a forestry railway in the past, and now it’s the only narrow gauge railway in Hungary, which can maintain itself. It has more, than 200 000 passengers a year. The railway usually uses two engines. One of them was modernized a few years ago, it is the one on the main photo. My Lego version contains this engine, a passenger coach and the snack bar wagon. The snack bar wagon is almost always near the waterfall, sometimes the engine takes it back to the village to refill it. The amount of tourists is increasing, I guess it was the reason of some developments there. Due to them, the valley contains to much buildings and asphalt, but it’s still nice. Don’t forget to visit it, if you are in Hungary! You can find more pictures about the Lego model, and the real train on Mocpages! Thanks for watching!
