Hi everyone! I hope you are all well and healthy during these difficult times. This is my first SHIP (Seriously Huge Investment in Parts) and my entry for this year's SHIPtember. It is 147 studs long and features a full interior. I built most of it during the month of September and finished up the interior in the following weeks. This ship is an idea that I have had for over 10 years now and I am so excited to finally have realized it. I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did making it. This build is dedicated to all the brave medical professionals that have worked so hard this year to keep us all safe, including my awesome sister who is a D.O. and who this ship is named after. It serves as a reminder that as long as we have heroes like them and we listen to them, we can make it through this difficult time and survive into the far future where such a spaceship could be a reality. The HSS Ceyda is a moderately sized, but fully equipped hospital spaceship (HSS). Once built by the Lego Space Federation to help out in the Great Blacktron War, she now mainly goes on humanitarian missions, traveling from system to system to offer medical services wherever she can. She is equipped with an emergency room, surgery room, sterilization room, radiological services (including CT), rehabilitation center, doctor's office, dentist office, optometry office, laboratory, pharmacy, wards, cafeteria, 10 escape pods, and more. The ship has no weapons, but it has an extra powerful shield generator to protect its passengers. Attacking the HSS Ceyda is considered a war crime by the Space Police. In case a distress signal is received nearby, the ship carries an ambulance shuttle that can be dispatched to go and bring potential patients back to the hospital. Above the hangar is a landing pad only for the ambulance and a decontamination airlock so that the paramedics can land and bring patients into the hospital without carrying in any space germs. There are tools on the ambulance landing pad to service the ambulance, but for more extensive repairs, the ambulance can enter the cargo and repair bay in the back. The landing pad can be removed for better access to the hangar. All throughout the ship there are teleporter pads known as "Televators" with which people can quickly travel to different parts of the ship simply by saying where they want to go. I designed the ship to split into two halves for easier transportation. On the backside of the hangar, there is the main entrance to the hospital as well as ladders which lead up to the crew's quarters. Here you can also get a good look at the laundry room. The roof of the wards section of the ship can be removed to access the interior. There are four wards with a total of 16 beds as well as 2 bathrooms. One of the patients in the ward is a tribute to my best friend Randy who sadly lost his battle with cancer last year and was a big Spider-Man fan. Each bathroom features a toilet, a sink, and a shower with handle bars and a fold-out chair for paraplegics. The escape pods are located directly under the wards. In an emergency, the patients are automatically lowered into the pods and ejected. At the front of the ship, there is a cafeteria where both patients and visitors can come to eat. Diners can entertain themselves by viewing the stars through the large windows or watching the TV in the back. Under the cafeteria is the rehab center gym where patients can regain their strength or lose some of the calories they gained at the cafeteria. On each side of the ship are large engine rooms where the engineers can maintain the ships's engines. Underneath the bridge is the captain's cabin with a bed, wardrobe and desk for the captain. Only the captain can teleport here. The captain's chair is located toward the back of the bridge from where he can easily oversee his crew. Next to it is a holo-map and behind it is a Televator which can only be accessed via a secure access code. The bridge crew members each man a control station in front of the large panoramic window. In the back of the ship, it has 2 main engines and 4 auxiliary thrusters, as well as the entrance for the cargo/repair bay. Here you can see the cargo/repair bay doors when open. The back wall can be opened and all 3 decks inside can be accessed by removing them like drawers. Here is an overview of the three decks once they are removed. Let's take a closer look at them, starting with the first deck. This one contains the reception and waiting area, pharmacy, laboratory, doctor's office, administrative office, dentist office, optometrist office, and a restroom. Several patients are waiting to be seen, including an Explorien who got a little too close to an egg while exploring an alien planet and now needs to get rid of a facehugger. One of the Mars Mission aliens is checking in as he accidentally impaled himself. Another alien is getting his prescription from the pharmacy. Meanwhile, there are reruns of Ninjago are playing on the little wall-mounted TV. A technician is doing some lab work while Dr. Zarifi (my sister) is entering her office to see a patient. Here you can see the restroom and the optometrist office where Dr. Fram (my real-life eye doctor) is having my sigfig perform vision tests. Meanwhile, an alien is having some dental work done and a robot is performing administrative task. The second deck is reserved for the crew members and can only be teleported to using a secure access code. In the Cargo & Repair Bay there are stacks of supplies and Octan concentrated power crystal fuel cells as well as a workstation for making repairs. There is also a small mech for moving heavy objects. Opposite of the Cargo & Repair Bay are the crew's quarters. There is one for male and one for female crew members, although all genders are welcome on board. The corridor in the middle leads to the engine rooms on the sides of the ship. Both quarters have a row of bunk beds, a small desk, and an adjacent bathroom with shower. Both the inner (blue) and outer doors (gray) of the Cargo & Repair Bay can be slid open and closed. The upper deck is connected to the ambulance landing pad so that critical patients can be brought directly to the ER or into surgery. On the other side of the upper deck is a room for radiology services, including an MRI machine, and a lounge where the crew can come to take a break.and have lunch. The bed of the MRI machine can be rolled in or out and there is a small room from where a crew member can operate the machine. The surgery room is state-of-the-art and features robot arms with which the surgeon can make precise operations from behind his control desk. Next to the operating room is the sterilization room where a robot sanitizes the medical equipment. Here you can see it flying alongside all the other SHIPtember 2020 entries. The M.O.C.H.A. An E-7 explorer short-range scout vessel, intended for spatial reconnaissance missions and troop deployment. With enough space for a crew of six and a small vehicle, the M.O.C.H.A. is equipped with two laser shooters (one up front and another next to the cockpit) and a single-powered 16 ion-drive thruster. This beauty tops on 102 studs length. It was planned and built between September 13th and September 30th. This is the first spaceship I've ever built and I can't figure why I haven't done this before. It was a blast! Running through some difficulties - a weak structure, lack of plates, lack of tiles and color scheme troubles, to name a few - just made me want more of this, and I couldn't be happier with the result. The ARC-1 or otherwise known as "Arctic One by the ice planet goers" is fresh off the assembly line and has been proven reliable in its heavy armor and smooth flying capabilities. Instead of it's normal use as a cargo carrier or space police prisoner transport, this particular model has been repainted and is being used by a crew of ice-jewel seeking adventurers that are always on the go. Their modifications to the ARC-1 consist of a service robot, a portable refinery, a small survey tower, and a snow-mobile. Over six months ago I posted this starfighter, which won Best Medium Space MOC at Brickfair VA 2019, and received some really good advice for improving the build. For the Mk. II build, I worked on the colour blocking as to differentiate primary hull paneling (red) from more delicate "technical" areas (black and some bits of dark bley). I also improved the cockpit layout as well as trying to make the weapon/engine pods look more modular. There are some additional changes to the space-frame itself, especially to the internal scaffolding for better structural integrity. Overall, this is far closer to the vision I had for the design of the original Asterion. This MOC was going to be attending Brickfair VA 2020; however, since said LEGO expo was cancelled for understandable reasons I am posting the MOC here instead! Let me know what you all think! Greetings! It’s been forever since I last put up a post but I’ve finally gotten round to making some more ‘mechs! Rather than make a new topic for each one I’m going to keep adding more and more to this, and I’ve even remembered to take some work in progress pics as well which I will try and add as I go along as there’s always room for tips! And now, first up is the SPN-Ae “Egyptian” https://imgur.com/a/9jLXfTC A slight challenge but a very pleasing build over the course of several months (I get about 15-20 mins free build time most week days) and I’m very satisfied with the end result. I think the shaping is good, streamlined, and putting in the orange was a big step for me in deviating away from the more plain colours. A lot of all the new parts I have to build with have come from the recent City Space range and that’s largely where the colour scheme comes from, and I’ll often not use stickers if I’m buying sets purely to build with but I think they work well here and add something to the builds. I still need to fill a gap on the inside of each leg, just in front of the joint. I need either a single square stud or to change a piece on the inside to fill it. The other change I may make is to fit a ball joint on the two shoulder stud launchers to allow them to move a lot more. As always; thoughts, comments, constructive criticism. Hi all, After spending a lot of time making Star Wars MOCs, I've ventured back into the realm of my imagination to come up with what for now will be called a Freight Hopper! LEGO Freight Hopper MOC by TeddytheSpoon, on Flickr The design is based on one of my very first creations back when I was 12 or so, which I unfortunately don't have any pictures of. I re-imagined it and had a blast, so it might be something I do more often in future! LEGO Freight Hopper MOC by TeddytheSpoon, on Flickr While it wasn't intentional it bears more than a passing resemblance to a Sikorsky CH-54 helicopter with its infamous missing middle. In my head this is a small freighter designed for short-range cargo deliveries or container handling in large freight depots. Classic Space car (early 1950-something style) - real world MOC

(MODS: I just thought it would be easier to see the car in a forum where it would be more in-tune with it's origins... I.E. a town-based car. If you need to move it, go ahead,I just thought it would fit here best.) Inspired by this recent @hachiroku build here, I have completed this new early 1950's car for Benny, who seems pretty happy with it. It will go nicely with my very '50's retro-looking Astrotrain (see it here in Train Tech), of which the final parts for have arrived... but that won't be built until late December. (It's a Christmas present from my family, so I have to wait.) The rear has a license plate, the classic space logo, and two coverings partially obscuring the rear wheels. The roof is held on by four studs, and is as such removable. The two doors open, but the obligatory space seat is missing, because any more height and Benny would not fit inside. As a courtesy to the driver instead, I have included a light bluish gray upholstery for the back of the seat. This is a comparison picture between Bob's 1960's sports car and Benny's classy 1950's automobile (More of which you can see in my Classic Space topic, and in my Nexus Force thread, both of which are in the sci-fi forum) Well, what do you think? -
Always loved the unique design of the Arwings from Starfox. Many cool Arwing MOCs already out there but with this I especially aimed for the classic blocky design from the original game (which is the best, imo) and I tried to keep it as small and simple but also as recognizable and playable as possible. Now that Lego has partnered with Nintendo a Lego Starfox franchise might be a thing?!?

Introducing Cpt. Jean-Mech Picard! When I came up with this idea, I thought this was probably quite a common concept for a Lego MOC. turned out it wasn't so, but now I also know why... it took me forever to design a mech that could fit into the model of the Enterprise. So here it finally is. Thanks for checking this out. Hey all, I don't know if this MOC is technical enough to be posted on the Eurobricks forums, but I wanted to share with you my current build of the first starfighter MOC I built after coming out of my dark age. It is designed to be a multi-role starfighter, equipped as both a heavy reconnaissance and strike fighter. The Stormdrake is outfitted with three powerful magnetically thrust vectored fusion drive arrays, heavy shields with numerous emitter vanes, a host of sensors and scanners including an advanced reconnaissance imaging and analysis suite, plus a high-gain sub-space radio antenna located on the aft ventral side of the ship. The fighter is armed with four particle beam-lance cannons as well as six plasma-burrowing thermonuclear anti-capital ship missiles. On a build note, the more I worked on this MOC, the more it took on a vaguely draconic appearance, especially the landing struts. A bit of fantasy whimsy in an otherwise sci-fi setting. The inspiration for this MOC came from designing a main hull similar to the Liberty Patriot light fighter from Freelancer alongside wings that vaguely resemble the Vagyr assault craft and lance fighters from Homeworld 2. The role/classification of this starfighter was also inspired by the modern-day combat roles of the F/A-18F Super Hornet. Anyway, thanks for checking this MOC out and let me know what you think!

Yemin-IV, a dangerous but priceless planet, is known for its immensely hot climate, its deadly inhabitants, and nearly impossible to survive off the land. Our unfortunate Explorien friend finds himself here, waiting for rescue. Using pieces of rubble from the ship, he managed to construct a temporary base and land speeder until he finds a way off the planet. By using the wings of the ship and other scrap, the abandoned Explorien created a makeshift weather monitor to warn of incoming sandstorms. IMG_6147 by The Neighborhood Merchant, on Flickr The locals will attack on sight, but luckily the Explorien's knowledge of lands allowed him to carve a skull in the side of the entrance to the cavern warning off the attackers, until night that is... Scout vessels don't typically have the most comfortable sleeping bags on-board, but it will do. I am normally building Pirates, but when my son got out of my minifigs my old first spaceman ever, I had to build him a new vessel to play with... This lead to this little cute one : I thought the vessel was good enough to be shared with the community, so here it is. Hope you like it ! You'll notice that the poor spaceman has his helmet broken (as always with those old helmets from the 70's-80's...) I chose to leave him as he is because of nostalgy. He is really my oldest spaceman minifig !

Back in 2017 Andrijan94 posted a model of the JWST on Lego Ideas. He was so kind to give me the LDD file (an older version than the one now shown on ideas), and it took a while but now....: The LEGO space agency LESA was able to beat NASA when building their JWST copy! (Sorry if my english, is not totally perfect) Classic-Space History lesson that many missed : Why is this construction cult ? And yet, 99.99% of Classic-Space fans/afols don't know it. This scene went under the radar of fans/afols. It all started with the 2019 Lego Movie 2 'Goodies'/'bonus" video, which was not publicized and went fairly unnoticed. The LEGO Movie 2 The Second Part Saving Bricksburg Stopmotion Compilation! The LEGO Movie ReTeling, 4 febr. 2019 : (Only the first few minutes of the video) As a good Classic-Space/afol fan, I got it into my head to rebuild with LDD and Stud.io, the 2 Lego constructions in the video, part by part, frame by frame. And there, I discovered a pretty huge Easter Eggs. The 3 spacemen characters from 3 pivotal Lego Classic-Space periods were obvious, but it was above all, the famous and unique Trans-Green brick among 12 Trans-Yellow, which made me realize, that LEGO had hidden lots of Easter Eggs in this single scene. [Classic Space] little-known anthology scene by Horlack, sur Flickr This construction, is a LEGO Classic-Space history. And the "biggest sick" in the world of Classic-Space, should have rebuilt it for his personal collection, and worship him every day :) For the most part, the understanding of the Easter Eggs, below, should be based on the year 1979, not 1978. 1978 is the year of the US version, and 1979 is the year of the US commercial version. Like for example the “Rocket Launch Pad” which was released in 1978 under number 483-1 in the USA, and released in 1979 under number 920-2 in Europe. This 1978 and 1979 debate is still being emulated today, and sometimes not settled. 1978 is the year zero of Classic-Space, but in the collective imagination, 1979 is often chosen, because it was the year that really made the commercial boom of this range. It is a Lego work, which is cult, for what it represents. And no one noticed her. There are probably other Easter Eggs that I missed. If you see others, share them. What ? [MOD] Martian Colonization Base, 4x 60227 I transformed the lunar space station into a Martian land base for colonization The blocks / modules are perfect. I also made a small NPU with train part number 55768. This is a mini version of Captain Future's Comet/Meteor spacecraft from the famous 80s cartoon. Despite its size the construction is actually reasonably stable and the design also allows the wings to rotate freely from the rest of the spacecraft.
