  1. Hello eurobrick.com users! I'm glad to show you my first lego movie: A funny short film about the Lego Star Wars 75099 set: Rey's Speeder! Enjoy! More to come!

  3. Since this is becoming a whole series, I thought it's time for a general discussion topic. You can watch the trailer for the latest Justice League movie "Cosmic Clash" here: http://nerdist.com/e...e-cosmic-clash/ And here is an image of the DVD/BluRay combo pack that comes with the Cosmic Boy minifigure fittingly. According to the Brick Fan, It will be available on March 1 while the Digital HD version will be available on February 9. LEGO DC Comics Superheroes – Justice League: Cosmic Clash by Allen Tran, on Flickr The trailer doesn't look that exciting. Brainiac seems annoying and this feels like a retreat of the Lego Batman 3 plot, just with the Legion of Superheroes added in. On the other hand, I enjoyed the Legion of Superheroes cartoon back in the day and I really liked the last Lego Justice League movie, "Attack of the Legion of Doom", so I hope that they will be able to surprise me again and that the movie will be much better than the trailer makes it out to be. And yes, I believe in Batman too. What are your thoughts on this and the other Lego DC movies?
  4. Well, now That we know that there will be sets, I thought that it was good to start a topic here. What do you guys think about the new femenine reboot?
  5. Hello all, im not a very experienced train builder, but since i saw the movie "Unstoppable", i got inspiration to build trains, so, i made my own version of the 777 train of the movie in LDD, which if im not wrong its a BNSF GE C44-9W, so here it goes: Im not very talented for the aesthetics, thats why it is a bit ugly, it was supposed to have a yellow stripe on the sides, but i think it would look much better with stickers, however, i will see if i can make of bricks. I decided to make it 8 wide, to have more space for details and to make it more scale-realistic. The propulsion system its done by one battery box, one sbrick and 2 XL motors for each locomotive: And this is how it steers (it still can steer to take the normal curves) I hope you like it, i will try to post more pics of the working parts. Thanks.
  6. Hey All, I've been working hard on my first big LEGO project, where do you all think I should show it off ? Here's the vid : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJ06Ns_hEe6JQaobQUnmDMw?view_as=public Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/gp/133518136@N08/XeN223 Thanks!!
  7. A full length trailer for the Ratchet & Clank movie was recently released: There will also be a game for the PS4 based on this movie (which is based on the original game). Any thoughts? I think it looks pretty good. It has the same silly humor as the games, the same voice actors in the lead roles (even though they are hardly credited ), the same look and everything. However, it's a shame that they seem to be rebooting the series, even though the story seems to be mostly the same. I guess the focus here is more on introducing a new generation to the series than to appeal to the old fans. I played most of the games and enjoyed them quite a bit, although I always preferred Jak & Daxter and am a little sad that that series died while R&C continues, but I'm glad we at least get more R&C, even if it's a reboot. I think my favorite game was Up Your Arsenal. I really wish Lego would have opted to make sets based on this videogame movie instead of Angry Birds. This would have produced some really cool sets, minifigs, and parts. Oh well. What do you think?
  8. We all know that LEGO will not release many of our favorite movie or television characters. Here is thr place to show off your purist figures! Rules (I know, bad word, but must be done): 1. Absolutely must be purist. That means no 3rd party brands, knockoffs, or any custom printing. These must be made from existing LEGO parts. 2. No Star Wars, Marvel, or DC characters. There are separate forums for those. 3. Keep the profanity to a minimum. We have people of all ages here. No hard cursing. Otherwise, let's do this!
  9. I made a few minifigs in LDD of characters that I wish Lego would produce, although there is very little chance it would ever happen. Any guesses as to who they are (other than Wicket, of course)?

    MOC Batwing

Hi all, I've tried to recreate a Batwing that has a bit of the gothic, industrial heavy duty look & feel just like the iconic '89 Batmobile or the Batwing of the same movie. You'll find large missile launchers under the wings, a heavy turbine that catapults the aircraft forward, and when viewed from above or below it gives us that shape we're all familiar with... More on https://flic.kr/s/aHskhpzBR3 Enjoy :-)

    HALO Falcon Transport Helicopter

It features: - a cockpit for 1 pilot - 3 seats in the troop bay - adjustable angle of engines and rear wings - a unique set to put up in your room The pictures are too big so I cannot post them on this forum, but you can check them out here:
  13. Hi everyone, I would like to share my MOC created few years back. It is a movie scene from the Japanese animation Spirited Away where the main character Chihiro first met the bathhouse boiler-man Kamaji. Hope you guys like it. :-) Close-up of Kamaji. He is busy with his work at the bathhouse. Thanks for reading. :-)
  14. This '8x8 Vingnette' concept started with 'The Dark Knight - Interrogation Scene' vignette which was based on the #40120 Valentine's Day Dinner and #40121 Painting Easter Eggs. This one represents the 'AMC Movie Talk' studio in Burbank, California. The hardest part was to make it accurate as possible due to is contemporary design and curves, such as the table and back wall. This would include three minifigures: John Campea, Jon Schnepp and Dennis Tzeng. I have avoided the graphics on the faces since it's a nightmare to find them on LEGO Digital Designer. It would also include three AMC logo patches and one laptop. This one needs a few stickers and gaphics to make it more accurate such as the screens and the graphics on the walls. I wanted to post this week since yesterday was John Campea's last show. I will definitely will re-upload this when I own the parts and design the stickers and graphics. Render Time: 8 Hours AMC Movie Talk: https://YouTube.com/AMCTheatres I really hope you enjoyed this MOC; feedback and criticism is much appreciated. Adeel
  15. With all the Ninjago polls floating around here, I thought I'd make another one. Ninjago has been around now for FIVE years! That is amazing for an action theme! To top that, Ninjago is in its prime now- sales are still strong and are even climbing from what I have seen. What do you think will happen to the Ninjago line in the upcoming years? Will it continue? If so, what will the overall theme be next year? Will it be canceled? Will it be replaced? What effect will the movie have on the theme? Post your opinions here!

    [moc] Movie Set

Over the past week I have been working on a small movie set. It includes working bay doors, a fallen worker, a green screen and other people milling around. I apologize for the darkness of them but in a way it is fitting for the building. An overview from one side https://www.imageupload.co.uk/images/2015/05/11/image3cc35.jpg Another overview going the other way. https://www.imageupload.co.uk/images/2015/05/11/image83ec7.jpg A view through the bay doors. https://www.imageupload.co.uk/images/2015/05/11/imaged0e79.jpg The fallen figure. That is why you shouldn't work in the dark. https://www.imageupload.co.uk/images/2015/05/11/imagece91e.jpg

    Lego Digital Designer Weapons

Something new is on the horizon of the Lego Universe - something for people who are bored with the average Lego sets, which are never bigger than a microwave. The 1st business on the internet with Lego Weapon Manuals is for people who are interested in military and building life-sized, BIG creations with their hands. I would have been so happy if these instructions were available when I was a child, but I guess when something that you want doesn't exist in reality you have to create it. Check it out: http://www.ebay.com/sch/legoweaponmanuals/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=

    Treacherous Tides Video Series

Recently I and some friends decided to create a Lego Pirates Video Comic Series. The production's title is: "Treacherous Tides" and is in the works, aiming for release of chapter one in early May 2015. It's "just for fun" but we plan on a very immerse story line. It's not stop motion, rather, still frame images with ken burns and sound effects in addition to some cool music. We won't be doing any voice acting, instead we will be using speech bubbles. Here is a preview: (Don't watch the Batman one, it's old and not very entertaining, as it has no sound or motion.) Send me some kool names, and we might eventually use them in the series!
  21. As avowning long-time steam-punk and one of the founders of the austrian steampunk-community I instantly fell in love with Metalbeard's robo-pirate design. I already made loads of costumes before but this was my first attempt on working with EVA-foam (Ethylene-vinyl acetate). First of all I needed some patterns, so I made 3D-models using fotographs of the original LEGO-pieces as reference. After that I dissected the models into their single surfaces, unfolded them and arranged the on multiple pages for printing. Next I transferred the cut-out paper pattern onto the surface of my foam-sheets, sawed them out on an electric scroll saw and ground some of the 90 degrees edges to slopes with a disc grinder. Afterwards I thermo-formed some of the pieces with a heat gun and bent them into their final shape. After I had all the components I needed, I glued them together with a hot glue gun and finally painted the props with acrylic paint. To make the beard wearable I attached a leather-strap on its inside which would later be covered by the bicorne. Finally I made a matching eyepatch out of leather (also using some fotographs as reference). The picture was taken at the LEGO-Store Donauzentrum (Vienna/Austria). You can find more pictures of the single objects in my cosplay folder on my homepage.

    Your favourite movie?

Thought I'd start a "fun" topic. What is your favourite film(s)? My personal favourite is the 1968 Planet of the Apes - classic film, have seen it close to 6 times now. Love the story, the twist, the Charlton Heston-ing. Bravo to my favourite character of all time... DR. ZAIUS!
  23. I just found some of my older moc's, and i thought i would share it with ya'll. The MAN KAT 8x8 is one of my first trial trucks, and still a pretty good one. The Rubber Duck from the movie Convoy is an icon to me, and one day i decided to build it. I came as far as completing the truck and a small part of the trailer, due to the shape of the trailer i couldn't afford it so i didn't finish it. I'm thinking of re-doing the duck to make it stronger and i regret taking it apart. Truck and trailer were inspired by 2Legoornot2lego's trucks The real truck
