After making Dekapitator I tough it will be good idea to give him an opponent. I rebuilt the angled base which allowed me to add more motion to the fight. As fan of fighting games I decided to place few spectators in the background to make it more interesting.

Inspired by the new Fun in the Park Set 60134, I decided to put a classic Star Wars twist on it by creating a Skywalker-Solo family vacation back to Tatooine. chewie-ben Leia has dug out her old Tatooine bikini and is catching some rays (and showing off that post-baby flat stomach). Young Ben is showing signs of jaundice, so a dose of those twin suns should help get rid of the yellow complexion. Uncle Chewie gives Ben a feed, while Han gets lunch ready. sandchildren One of the Sandchildren enjoying making sandcastles in the park, don't get too close though, he can be pretty feisty if you stand on his creation. doiknowyou R2 strikes up a conversation with the rubbish bin, wondering if they'd met before somewhere. torture Running a hover-groomer over the sand is simply torture, EV-9D9 thinks to itself. newcouple A strangely familiar couple take a quiet stroll in the park. hotdogkids A young Talz lines up for a hot-dog from the local vendor. I wouldn't trust that Rodian kid though, always causing trouble. hero-relax A well earned sit-down and glass of wine for our hero. Hey guys, so I really enjoyed making my first micro landscape MOC (Jakku) so I decided to make a really iconic scene from the original trilogy and decided to make a Battle of Hoth MOC on a 16x16 plate. I tried to get all the iconic parts from the film into the MOC. Inspiration from a few various sources and a few twists of my own! The one thing I am aware of is that the snow speeder is completely out of proportion with the scene however I tried to make smaller models and they just didnt look right. Therefore I have tried to give the illusion that the speeder is flying high up above the battle. Im really pleased with how this MOC has turned out and would be great to hear any feedback or advice you guys might have. ps if anyone wants instructions for any of the elements I am more than happy to send across what I have.

I wanted to build a better suit of armor for Macy than the ultimate version, and...it kind of just snowballed from there. Features include an opening cockpit, full articulation, rotating dual mace, dual blasters (can be activated via gears) and a brickbuilt shield that can hold a minifig shield. I also replicated her ponytail. When I initially built this and took pictures of it, I slightly underestimated the size of this piece (used in the shield), which LDD doesn't have and I, as such, represented with a Nexo Knights cockpit piece. It's an easy fix, though, requiring simply that I replace the 2x4 slopes with 2x3 ones. Gallery Comments and criticism appreciated!

But i don't know how stable and robust is this model in Real Life. Dear Star Wars, LEGO, and R2-D2 Fans, I know this is late but 3 days ago, on August 13th, 2016 Kenny Baker passed away. For those of you unfamiliar with this amazing man, he is the man who controls R2-D2 from inside the droid. This forum is all about LEGO and Star Wars, so I decided to use the flawless combination of the two to pay tribute to Kenny Baker and his work as R2-D2. I hope you all comment and show your respects in LEGO. Rest in Peace Kenny Baker.

Firstly, I'm not that type of guy who purchases multiple sets however the '21109 - Exo-Suit' was one of them along with '70816 - Benny's Spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP' which I got two of (one to display and one for parts.) Both sets got me into designing MOC's so they have a very special place in my heart. I managed to purchase three copies of the Exo-Suit: one for personal collection with a signed box by Legoloverman andlego_nabii (flic.kr/p/pWVcdC), one I used for parts to build my own Neo-Classic Space MOC's and I still had one sealed. (At the time it was another copy for a parts pack and the cool Minifigures.) I've been questioning myself for a while now with what to do with the extra copy I own. Yesterday I set myself a task to build an alternative model only using pieces from ‘21009 - Exo-Suit.' inspired by the LEGO Movie (2014) 2-in-1 sets. This model contains about 80% of the pieces from that set. It's inspired by the 'Turtle' included with '21109 - Exo-Suit' but it's a larger version of the turtle that can be piloted by a Minifigure,' so essentially it's a Turtle Exo-Suit but I prefer to call it 'Turtle XL.' Greetings, Today I have decided to create one of the most sought after SW sets that hasn't happened. You've read the title so you know of course it is a Yavin Base MOC. This is actually my second go at making this, my first attempt (which can be found here.), is very poorly executed with multiple design flaws that are too far from creative liberties, and very poor support. Now I have ditched the exterior, made it entirely interior based for improved playability (and difficulty to recreate the exterior correctly), made lots of braces going through the floor, put various triangle brackets and braces in the walls, made it a two-part modular build, and I gave it a final minutes of the battle tension as the theme (very clear with the placement of the minifigs). Briefing Room (Note: The 6x6 flat tile will be white w/ a cutout of DS plans on a black sticker) War Room T-65 X-Wing in Hanger Rear T-65 X-Wing in Hanger Front Arm w/ Rotating Droid Magnet (No Droid For Use) Fuel Tank w/ Refueling Hose How To Separate/Reconnect War Room to Briefing Room. Built after getting and dismantling all the Mixels police. Used some extra pick a brick wall pieces and a couple of minifigs from parts I had handy. Tried to get the feel of an official set. We all know how LEGO love their cops and robbers in the City line, so why not in Space too?

The first MOC I want to present on Eurobricks was an entry for the MOC Olympics contest on www.imperiumdersteine.de (German LUG). The task for the second Round was to build a ship or an iconic scene of the Empire or the First Order. A base of 32 x 32 was the limit. As you can see I decided to build an iconic scene of the Empire. My MOC shows the meeting, which all the high members of the Imperial Military attended and where they debated whether to use the death star immediately or not. The meeting also resulted in Darth Vader briefly strangling Motti with the Force after the latter insubordinately retorted Vader's warning that the abilities of the Death Star were miniscule compared to the Force. Here is my latest MOC, a TIE/tb Torpedo Bomber, also known originally as Torpedo Launcher. It is based on the 3D model created in the early nineties par Marco SPitoni for his excellent animation fanfilm: " ". (Look from 27" and also in the credits)I then decided to build it using my bricks in order to complete and expand further my LEGO TIE collection. It provides structural strength and thanks to it, you can play with the TIE and replicate any kind of space combat. Hey everyone, so while I am waiting for a big order from Bricklink to start my next large scale MOC I thought I would kill the time by building a little micro landscape of Jakku, specifically Niima Outpost. Its a very simple little MOC, only 16x16 and its actually based on the loading screens from Lego: The Force Awakens on the PS4 (for those of you who have played it you might recognise it?) I really enjoyed making this little model and I am quite tempted to do similar scenes for all the famous locations of the entire sage (any suggestions welcome!) Anyway as always be great to know your thoughts!

Today I have a small little build (about 40 pieces) of the Imperial Probe Droid, as seen in Episode V. Its features include a rotating head and movable arms. When I was designing this I tried to make it more screen accurate than LEGO's renditions that we've seen in years past. Comments or criticisms are welcome and encouraged!

The German BR119 was developed in 1937 by AEG, Siemens Schuckertwerke. At that time it was the most powerful electric locomotive in it's time. With the outbreak of world war 2 these engines couldn't be tested and developed further and speeds where then limited to 140km/h to keep them in use. The engines were really reliable and have been used up to 1968. Many liveries of this engine excist, I choose the dark blue livery with red wheels which I think really stands out. I really love these old electric locomotives with their big wheels and huge pantographs. First of a picture of the real engine; And my version (in the picture it somehow looks shorter then it really is); Making the sloped front with the 3 windows was not that easy; I choose to add the wind shield wipers to make it less plain, if only there were dark blue levers; Detail on the roof and pantographs; Apart from some rigid hose the model does not have cut or painted parts, for me this was really a must. I used some old 12V Lego stickers to add the logo's and numbers. Due to the complexity of the build it does not have an engine or lights (yet). I suppose our resident train experts would find this an easy task, but for me this is still challenging. The idea is to ad 3 coaches in the same livery, one of these will have two 9V motors. So there you have it, I hope you like it!

This is my version of sydag's wonderful delta-7 model (which you should view here www.flickr.com/photos/sydag/sets/7215765181084275), which also incorporates elements of legorevolution's model (www.flickr.com/photos/legorevolution/albums/7215762721077...). Originally I just built legorevolution's eta-2 as per the instructions, but a while later i found sydag's version of the ship, which blew me further away. I ended up having a cockpit module from legorevolution and the wings from sydag's. But I did this before he produced his instructions and also showed his lovely series of fighters, so parts of the wings were not exactly the same to begin with. For a while I was satisfied and they began collecting dust while I did other things. I can't remember exactly when but in the second half of last year I picked it up again and started putting together obi-wan's red interceptor from the same battle, and the blue one that goes to Utapau. I fiddled with these for a while, but because I didn't have all of the parts I needed for obi-wan's ships, this one was the template for the rest. I basically finished it then, but without sticker details. This weekend I sat down and put those on, and here we have it. I'm quite proud of this one, although it's definitely too big. But that's alright with me because I felt that the movie ships themselves were unrealistically small anyway. So here you have it. Large chunks of this have remained untouched from the source material (in lego), but there are several areas, including the back wing sections, the bottom, and most of the cockpit which I have rearranged to suit my personal preferences. For Brickfete 2016 and the Friends contest, I made a Friends-ly tree slide GBC module. The input and output are to GBC standards so it should play nice with other GBC modules. During the event I had make various modifications and fixes. Although, it worked great at home. I think I got the bugs out of it now. It had pretty good response and feedback from girls and moms. Help! How to start/build a VIKING Housing/Village?

Hello all, I hope I am here in the right categorie and such a post doesn't exist already. I want to introduce myself real fast. My name is Ragnar, I am 62 years old and I live in Germany, so please excuse potential misspelling. I promised my grandson who is 8 years old and actually living in the States to build an authentic and big Viking Scenario for a local Lego Contest. I started some researches on Lego Viking Sets and found the ones from 2005. I bought the Sets 7015, 7016, 7017, 7018, 7019, 7020 and also 7021, some extra Figures like Thor and Loki from the newer Sets "Marvel's The Avengers", nearly 40 other Viking Figures and some items like weapons, shields, etc. It took me nearly two month to get them all together - brandnew. I was a little bit surprised by the prices that I had to pay. It seems that Lego Sets are actually a good investment. I was a little bit disappointed that no buildings for a Viking-Village-Scenario were available, so I made more researches and found this MOC-Community with all these great ideas. My idea is to combine these original Sets with some Mythologie topics and of course with these own created buildings. So my questions are, how to start such a MOC? In my age the power of imagination is not that high anymore. Do I have to buy from every single available brown and grey Lego-Piece like 100 to get a start? Do I get a kind of construction manual from a helping hand, or is this forbidden as a "MOC-Member"? Greetings and in advance Thank You. -

[MOC] Bottled City of Kandor (minifig-scale) and Fortress of Solitude

Hello, and welcome to my minifig-scale bottled city of Kandor! This is the first MOC I've posted on EB, so be gentle. Or harsh. Or honest. EDIT: I may update this later, as I keep building, or take better photos This is part of a much larger Fortress of Solitude project I've been working on since forever (hence WIP, or work-in-progress). Please excuse the dust, dog hair, bad lighting, bad photos, etc, etc, ad infinitum. I'm only posting because someone asked how I did it, and because I really like some of the work I've done and am keen to share it, even if I'm not in a position to take decent photos. Or dust thoroughly beforehand. Seriously, my dog sheds a lot. It's a problem. On with the show. Here's some shots of the city, still bottled. Each shot is a 90 degree rotation clockwise from the previous shot. And here it is out of it's bottle. As you can see, the city is built on a 2x3 plate for a base, and fitted into a 4x4 (round) space, offset using two jumper plates. This is pretty tricky. The top of the cylinder, when assembled, only has a 2x4 opening, so you can't simply put the city inside the bottle. The opening at the bottom is the same 2x4, so you can't attach the 2x3 city then add the half-cylinders because the city overhangs on at least two sides. The easiest way to assemble it all is to add the two 1x2 jumpers to the bottom of the city's 2x3 base, then hold the cylinders around the city, so that the cylinders grip the jumper plates and form an even surface. Then attach the assembly to a 4x4 (round, or not), making sure to apply pressure to the half-cylinders AND the city itself. This can be frustrating, especially if the city isn't stable enough to withstand the pressure put on top. For mine, that longest spire is a perfect place to apply pressure and ensure solid clutch-power on the bottom. As for the city itself, well, you have tons of options. I went for the white color-scheme, to match the general aesthetic of the 70's movie version of Krypton, but plenty of depictions of Kandor/Krypton have color, so it all depends on what you want. For my project, I just started grabbing all of the tiny white pieces I could find in my collection and started throwing them together, finding pleasing arrangements, hoping to suggest micro-scale alien architecture. This is the fourth version or so that I came up with (though I think I liked the second version better, it is lost to me now). Here's some shots without the bottle, each one turned 90 degrees clockwise, as before. As you can see, there's all sorts of tiny bits in there, lightsaber hilts (attached vertically using a 1x1 round w/ pin), a lever-base, cheese slopes, a skeleton arm, some minifig hands, and lots of SNOT building on a 1x1 brick with studs on 4 sides. There are so many ways you can configure this stuff, it's nuts. I actually just acquired some white minifig skis that I'm hoping to incorporate soon. The only restrictions are to the inside of the cylinder, which leaves some room to build past the 2x3 plate-edge on the short sides, making the city more rounded in appearance. Spires also need to be position to fit through the centered 2x4 gap at the top. That's it, really. If anyone has any questions, please let me know! Now that that's out of the way, here's some shots of the Fortress itself (very much a WIP), and a couple of other goodies. A wide shot of the base and half of the outer Fortress, with Kandor sitting in front for size-reference: Pictured are four spires, individual constructed and attached at the base. The spires are built using a core of standard bricks and technic bricks, strategically placed so that the outside can be plated and tiled in various places, adding to the crystalline look I'm going for. Here's where the spires attach, using some technic pieces, so that the spires are able to swing open, allowing access to the interior (which is fairly non-existent at this point ) The spires are built with some overlap, so that, if you raise the first one, it catches the second, and so on. When closing it up, the last one catches the next-to-last, and so on. Aaaand, this is the point at which I stalled out on the project. I want to incorporate some gears so that the entire structure can be opened and closed using one crank/gear. But I'm not a Technic guy. I came up with a simple enough lift system, but the spires are too heavy for it to work smoothly, or well, or at all really. I thought about redesigning the spires to be more hollow, thus lighter, and I thought about changing the way in which the spires interlock, and I thought about changing.....etc. So yeah. That's why there's a year's worth of dust on this monster. I should get back to work soon. Again, criticism, thoughts, and ideas are all welcome. Here's a case of kryptonite that would go somewhere inside, though I'm not entirely happy with it, simply because glass isn't enough to save Superman. It'll have to go behind lead, but then we couldn't see inside, so I'll probably add a vault for it to go in. Eventually. And last but not least, my Phantom Zone projector. I styled it largely based on the Superman: The Animated Series version. It is able to tilt up and down on the stand, or detach completely so that Superman can fly around with it and zap anyway who annoys him. Like Jimmy Olsen. Damn that Turtle Boy!
