  1. Hi Guys! It's already 2 months ago I made this MOC but I forget to share here with you so... I show you my MOC of the AT-DT! I let you watch the showcase video. And the quick scene I made for a LEGO Convention. Free PDF Instructions are available on Rebrickable : https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-18202/BricksFeeder/at-dt-walker/ Don't forget to mention me if you use this design. ) Let me know what you think about! See you soon!
  2. "This is Commander Ulric, we have broken through the rebel line." "Very good commander. My team will meet you 3 klicks from your position. Keep pushing forward." "Copy that. The rebels will have no idea whats waiting for them. They're finished." "Affirmative commander. This war ends today."

    MOC: Imperial/First Order AT-ST

(Sorry for poor picture quality.) Decided to finally get around to posting my MOC/MOD of the AT-ST walker, with TLJ showing off the FO version of it. I decided to have both versions present, with the original model converted simply by adding a few new parts. The MOC is based off the walker that came with the Battle of Endor set, with a almost identical head, but with the legs being built with ball joints to create a more movie accurate look. This makes the walker far more posable and flexible, however it can be difficult to set up and quite fidgety. The legs can be held in place by 'stoppers' built into the side of the legs. Original walker and the 5 parts used for FO version. Ball joint 4x4 piece with Bionical joint. More shots of the FO version:
  4. Make more animals! So I made a six legged walking dragon. It is based on "basic walking frame" by JK Brickworks ( http://jkbrickworks.com/motorized-mic... ). Very primitive, however kids like when the veeery slow dragon tries to catch them :) Video:

    [MOC] Midi-Scale AT-TE

I had built this solely for use in one of my Ring-worlds (Link to that topic blow) But I felt it was a build in its own right too so I decided to create a separate thread (hope that's okay?) Anyway, this was a fairly quick build because it was one of those rear moments where everything just.. fits you know? The only part I really had trouble with was connecting the two half's together.. And then of course remembering what I'd done in order to make a second one! Let me know what you think and any suggested improvements are especially welcome! AT-TE / Teaser by Inthert, on Flickr And now, as promised, the link to my Ring-worlds project:

    [MOD LDD] AT TE

Here's a MOD of captain Rex's AT TE. I removed the platforms and added as well as modding the turrets The main turret. I will be building this soon in real life.

    [MOD] AT-ST

While Googling images of walker MOCs for inspiration I found this older post by @DarthTwoShedsJackson showing their build: Naturally, it wasn't wobbly, I mean poseable enough for my tastes, so I made some modifications with ball joints and changed a few details. It can be put into some nice dynamic poses now, although you have to be really careful doing so. Only time will tell if the click hinges are going to be bent due to the angled positions. Anyway, hope you like what I did with your design!

    [MOC] XTS-620

Receiving transmission: "Commandant. We have recovered the secret data from the archive. The data was highly encrypted but after our best hacker decrypted it, we found out that it had highly sophisticated mech frame plans. We carried out the XTS-620 experimental mech frame to the test range and it pretty much passed all the test in record timing. This is one of the most destructive mech we have ever built. We call it "Twins". This "Twins" mech is piloted by two pilots working in perfect harmony with eachother. The left side is mounted with a highly destructive gauss ion cannon. It has enough power to pierce our experimental "Cocoon" armor. The weapon is still not fully tested so do not go over 70% power or you risk destroying the arm completely. On the left side, we have a high pressurized pyromite launcher that has 3 times the range of our standard pyromite launchers. Also for melee combat, the left arm is mounted with a large plasmite claw. There is enough power to crush a class 5 titan head like an egg. The legs are equipped with experimental dampening systems that allow the mech to jump down without any damage to the actuators. This mech requires highly trained pilots that can sync up in perfect harmony. We have sent you this experimental mech for a field test on real action. Be cautious." -Mech build lab
  9. Standing 58cm tall and 59cm long, this AT-AT from Star Wars is probably my largest robot to date. It is controlled by an EV3 p-brick, and is capable of walking, turning its neck, and shooting balls from a twin-ball launcher located inside its head. Here is a list of the functions of the robot: - Walking: 2 EV3 large motors - Neck turning: 1 EV3 medium motor - Shooting: 1 NXT motor Also includes an EV3 IR sensor for use with the EV3 IR remote. After getting the BWE, I had a plentiful supply of grey beams and panels, which I used in the aesthetics of the model. The head design was the most tricky part of the build. I needed it to look good, while at the same time have enough space for the twin-ball shooter with magazines. However, I'm happy with the end result, as it looks quite accurate to the actual thing. With the amount of pieces I had, I was also able to achieve a (almost) full body cover, which although adds to the weight of the robot, looks really nice. There are also two flaps on top of the head that can be lifted up to access the ball magazines. Walking was especially tricky to achieve in this model, as it was so top heavy. Rubber bands had to be used to help pull in the legs when they bore the load of the robot, otherwise the motors would not have enough torque. All legs are controlled simultaneously by the two motors, so the robot theoretically can't turn. However, I doubt the robot could turn even if the two sides could be controlled independently, since it is so top heavy. The EV3 brick can be accessed through opening of the panels on the side of the body. This was the easiest way to access the electronics while keeping a full-body cover (The real AT-AT in the movies also had opening side body panels). Here is a video of the AT-AT walking, turning its neck, and shooting. More information about the robot can be found here: https://www.us.lego.com/en-us/mindstorms/community/robot?projectid=afba4def-3b6b-49f3-8e0f-f964224763d9 Hope you enjoyed this robot!

    [MOC] XT-G20

Receiving transmission: "Commandant. We have a solution to the invasion from the coast side. We would like you to try our latest weapon: the XT-G20. This combat walker is equipped with heavy lasers that will destroy the flying enemies with pinpoint accuracy. The lasers need a short time to ramp up but after charged, they can shoot down fliers from long distances. To keep swarming enemies on their toes, we added 8 long range missile pods to the shoulders that have flak tips. If however an enemy or two gets to land, we gave the XT-G20 arms that can punch or grasp into things. The XT-G20 is a heavy class mech with medium armor and it's only weakness is attacks from behind. It's however exceptional at long range anti air combat. Use your radar and locate the enemy fliers before they get too close. We have sent you 5 XT-G20's to help you in your next mission." -Mech build lab "Alright, let's see what this mech is made of. There is a large swarm headed our way." -Commandant

    [MOC] SW-K10 "Sasquatch"

Receiving transmission: "Commandant. We have designed a new weapon for your command. May we introduce to you, the SW-K10. We nicknamed him.. "The Sasquatch". This combat walker is equipped with corrosive pyromite flamethrowers that will melt the armor from the outside and cook everything in the inside. This pyromite chemical will stick to any surface and continue to burn up to 5 hours on it's own. For ranged combat, we added some explosive tip medium range missiles to help you get closer to the enemies. We do not recommend to get up close and personal but as a last case scenario, we added some plasmite claws that heat up and help you claw trough heavier armor like it's paper. The SW-K10 is a medium class mech with high armor so it's only weakness is the slow movement speed. But the armor should make you durable enough to withstand long ranged weaponry for a short duration. Use terrain as your advantage and get to medium or short range to wreak havoc to the enemies. We have sent you 10 SW-K10's to aid you in your next mission." -Mech build lab "Ten SW-K10's deployed. Let's turn up the heat and roast some aliens." -Commandant
  12. Hi Technic builders, I wanted to build a simple walker, so I looked on the internet for simple mechanisn that I could copy. I saw Sariel's walkers, and some others, but they always needed technic parts that I do'nt have, or at least not in the required quantity. But I got inspiration from all those builds and started building a simple mechanism, on which I claim no partenity! As you can see on the video, the movement isn't really fluid. That's mostly due to the legs I used, which are too wobly to hold the weight. Also the feets slipped on the paper sheets. A third pair of legs would solve most of the problems... As I wanted the walker frame to remain as small as possible, I used only one motor, and thus making the walker only able to move in straight line. I made a quick LDD file and put it on my website, if anyone want to take a look at it.
  13. It seems that Santa's Sleighs are all the rage this year. Here's my contribution. Merry Christmas.
  14. Hi, Here is my progress so far on my attempted entry for the pneumatic challenge: I am trying to build an AT-AT walker, but is proving to be very, very challenging ... The mess of tubes inside the structure are part of the pneumatic sequencer that control the legs. For each leg four phases are defined: 1) Whole leg backwards 2) Bend knee to lift lower leg 3) Move leg forward & straighten knee 4) Move straight leg backwards The four legs are kept out of phase with each other to keep at east two legs straight at all times (either forward or backwards). In fact the sequence is not ideal, since 2 out of the 4 phases have a leg in the air (2+3), while idealy only one phase should have a leg in the air because then there are always 3 legs supporting the weight. What definitely not helps is the hopelessly high center of gravity combined with a ridiculous small base for the feet. With a manual pump I can make the whole assembly walk to some degree (well, walk, let's call it stumbling forward), but after a few steps it usually topples over sideways. When I add the batterybox and a small pump it doesn't even move the legs when I lift the model in the air. Apparently one small pump does not build up enough pressure... So, decision time... Option 1) Continue with the model (I do have some cool ideas for the head still including a simple return to center mechanism for rotating the head ). Solve the pressure issue with either more small pumps or by going manual (saves weight as well) Option 2) Abandon project and go for a six-legged walker (AT-TE) which is much less of a challenge, but has therefor also a much higher chance of actually working in the end. What would be your advice? Jeroen

  16. There are many AT-AT mocs. Many with great interiors. Many with great exteriors. This is my attempt at integrating both into one model. The model is minifig scale, has at least 6000 thousand pieces and stands two feet tall. It is stable enough to be picked up and moved. Another rebuild(plus head redesign) in the books by Jhaelon Edwards, on Flickr Features -Articulated head area -Removable panels to reveal interior -Lights throughout inside -Motorized deployment cables -Speeder bike garage for 4 speeders -Two floors with seeting areas -Gun/backpack racks -Cockpit area with seating for two pilots -Sliding Side Doors Side View: The complete scene has been reconstructed. by Jhaelon Edwards, on Flickr Rear View: IMAG1033 by Jhaelon Edwards, on Flickr Head: IMAG1037 by Jhaelon Edwards, on Flickr Full Interior: IMAG1019 by Jhaelon Edwards, on Flickr Speeder Garage: IMAG1021 by Jhaelon Edwards, on Flickr Top Floor Seating Area: IMAG1023 by Jhaelon Edwards, on Flickr Bottom Floor Front Area: IMAG1026 by Jhaelon Edwards, on Flickr Bottom Floor Deployment Area: IMAG1028 by Jhaelon Edwards, on Flickr Top Floor Access Ladder: 2016-08-07_10-36-53 by Jhaelon Edwards, on Flickr Troop Deploying: 2016-08-07_10-27-42 by Jhaelon Edwards, on Flickr Cockpit Area IMAG1030 by Jhaelon Edwards, on Flickr Assault on Hoth!: Assault on Hoth by Jhaelon Edwards, on Flickr The AT-AT at Brickfiesta: Another brickfiesta in the books! by Jhaelon Edwards, on Flickr is a youtube video detailing all the features of the model, including the motorized deployment cable. Check my flickr for progress photos starting from the first LDD files. Special thanks to Cavegod and LILmeFromDaFuture. I got a lot of inspiration from their models/techniques. Let me know what you guys think. Sorry for the cell phone quality pictures. Would buy new camera but can't stop spending money on lego parts ;). I'm considering distributing/selling the LDD files for this model if there's interest. They do need some refinements, however.

    [MOC] AT-TE v2!

Is it too late for a Clone Wars related MOC? After many years of sitting in a box, waiting to be finished. I have finally completed my scale AT-TE. The story begins back in 2008 After getting the 7675 version, I decided to make it more movie accurate and minifig scale. I wanted to keep the color scheme the same of 7675. I started building December of 2008 with my first version.(seen in other folder). It was then in 2012, I had taken the challenge attempting to motorize the walker. It was an on and off project with many trials and tribulations. I found the project too difficult to complete, and got burned out by it. At that point I just wanted a scale AT-TE, I had then decided to re-haul the entire walker, starting from the ground up, using most of the original outer shell. This is what I believe to be an accurate representation of the walker. Model features opening troop doors, rotating cannon, accurate opening cockpit, posable legs, and a handle for carrying. I present to you my Scale AT-TE walker. http://www.moc-pages.com/moc.php/429975 https://www.flickr.com/photos/113021024@N05/ I hope you like the model, and as always feedback is appreciated!
  20. Everyone has met Bob the Janitor at least once. Bob usually populates schools and offices, it is usually seen on its own and doesn’t form herds, and it feeds on shoeprints recovered from the floor as well as on schoolchildren’s fear. He has a strong territorial instinct and may be aggressive if his freshly cleaned floor is trespassed. Interestingly, his age appears to be constant but advanced, although all attempts at carbon dating have been unsuccessful. Theories abound about how Janitor is often actually older than the building he maintains and how he gets an extra year added to his lifespan for each scene he causes against the trespassers. The distinguishing features of a Janitor include the Broom of Doom, a sleepy yet vigilant and always suspicious look, a mandatory mustache, a cigarette that never burns out, and a belly used to store gathered shoeprints for later consumption. Thus it is possible to visually estimate the effectiveness of any Janitor by the size of his belly. The Janitor’s mating habits and methods of breeding remain unverified, mostly due to an underdeveloped sexual dimorphism (it’s extremely difficult to tell males from females), as well as due to the fact that sightings of more than a single specimen within the same territory are exceedingly rare. No one has actually seen Janitor’s offspring either, which led some to believe than instead of mating, this species relies on cloning. More: http://sariel.pl/201...ob-the-janitor/
  21. It's Mario season in McDonalds here in Moscow again, and this time they have Bowser! At first I wasn't too pleased, as the evil dragon/turtle has neither hands no legs here, but then I thought that it could be upgraded into a lovely mech. Those two holes on the back were all I needed. Here's what I came up with: The turret rotates! And here's the chassis without the pod. Bonus picture: if you don't like the clown's smile, you can take out two screws from those two holes (they have triangular slots though, and are hidden quite deep) and have this lovely grimace:
  22. NEW from Llwyngwril Systems: an innovative high speed solution to all of your rough terrain personal transport problems! Bug Runner by David Roberts, on Flickr Bug Runner Film by David Roberts, on Flickr I hope that this little MOC contains enough Technic and isn't too silly for this forum. On a vaguely serious engineering note; I'd be very interested in any suggestions that experienced Technic builders might have for replacing the cams that I've used. They're 1x2 45deg slope bricks. After long-term use, they detach from the Technic connectors with studs that attach them to the big gear. I'd like to build a motorised model using this technique but the current cams won't sustain it. Any ideas please?

    [MOC] Steampunk Emerald Knight

After a several year hiatus I am back. I'm not sure if any of you will remember me but I used to post on here fairly frequently two years ago. This is my first real build since being back in the game and I am very proud of it. Presenting, THE EMERALD KNIGHT A fusion of magic and machinery, this walker is manned by a commissioned magician and fueled by a summoned demon. It's the golem of the steam age. More pictures available on my flickr. https://www.flickr.com/photos/141611838@N02/ Comments and criticism appreciated.
  24. After the realtive succesfull black wolf I think its time to make a new, better and cuter Technic animal. I decided to make a silverfox, since I have some 1000+ of antennas with the gray base. Compared to the black wolf, this model will have many improvments starting with total rebuild of joints. Back in 'ol 2011 the ball joints just came out and were rather a novelity. Now I have enough ball joints, and linear actuators to make a mechanical analougous of hips, shoulder and muscles. Total amount of LA's used in this model will be 10 or more, having 6 large and 4 small LAs. The number of ball joints will be 6, four for legs and 2 for head and tail. I already built a mockup both in LDD and real life. Notice that the body is quite compact even though there are 6M motors, 6LA's and some 30 gears in there. So far it may seem like a unrecognisable shape of bits, but if you looks closer you can see where the legs will attach to the body. The whole body is also double articulated in front and rear. And its articulated to the front and rear can swing not only sideways, but also up and down, so the fox will be able to bend spine in all directions.

    [MOC] AT-ST

I threw this together over the last couple of days. I used parts from two 75083 At-Dp's. I based it off of some of the ones i've seen on here such as this one http://rebrickable.c...star-wars-at-st. I wanted one that was about minifig scale and could fit two pilots inside. I think I did a good job it getting the overall feel of the machine. The hardest part I found was getting the proportions of the legs and the look of them correct. Thanks for looking!! and sorry about the phone pics. yp0fVZw eOmE0je c4GOFE4 P6JOBAC uRJowQK
