  1. I have done this MOC more than a year ago, but as for the Ford Mustang Hoonicorn, I can't make the video until the bug of the BuWizz (with the Fast and Ludicrous modes) is corrected. So I show you the pictures of the MOC for the moment. ^^ I have started to build this creation when I have received 2 RC motors. The purpose was to see what I could make using 2 RC motors and a BuWizz. So this thing is an airplane... until the bug stops the BuWizz. With the 2 RC motors connected to big wheels by the high output, this is very fast. How I had the idea to make this model? I wanted to make a cartoon / videogame style MOC, so I chose the most famous vehicle of Mario Kart videogame. The 2 RC motors are at the rear, the BuWizz is between them. At the front, there is the servomotor which activates the steering with an Ackermann effect, and there is a return to the steering wheel. The body work is easily detacheable. You have just to remove some pins, or simply to detach the blocs from the chassis. Video coming in a moment I think...
  2. Hi there, I've been working on some code to allow of the conversion of textured 3D models into coloured ldr files (with brick optimisation - so it creates the ldr model with 10 different types of brick). I've put my python code and instructions on how to use it on GitHub, you can get all the details from my blog...https://cultofthebrick.blogspot.com/2019...ithub.htmlHope you like it
  3. I'm not entirely sure this is the right forum section, but I couldn't think of a better one :) So, here's a little contraption I've built with two goals: 1. Take NES console and make it 100% portable and 2. Make it feel like you're playing on an arcade cabinet. I hope NES Classic Mini owners will like that.

    [MOC] 8-bit Mario

Hi there, I made a Mario 8-bit based on the 30th anniversary Amiibo. I had to change to reddish brown for the torso part because my dark tan was depleted. :p More pictures on my Flickr page https://www.flickr.com/photos/118506643@N02/ Have a good Sunday!

    [MOC] Mario Kart

Hi guys, i hope i'm posting in the right place. I'm new here. This is a Mario Kart MOC, very simple actually. Any advise is welcome. I know for sure that i have to do better rendering. More pictures on Flickr https://www.flickr.com/photos/155731276@N06/albums
  6. It's Mario season in McDonalds here in Moscow again, and this time they have Bowser! At first I wasn't too pleased, as the evil dragon/turtle has neither hands no legs here, but then I thought that it could be upgraded into a lovely mech. Those two holes on the back were all I needed. Here's what I came up with: The turret rotates! And here's the chassis without the pod. Bonus picture: if you don't like the clown's smile, you can take out two screws from those two holes (they have triangular slots though, and are hidden quite deep) and have this lovely grimace:
  7. 8,000+ bricks later and 30 (build time) hours later, it's complete!

    [MOC] Koopa Troopa

A Koopa Troopa is a common enemy in Nintendo’s Mario games, although sometimes the turtle-like creature can be Mario’s ally. They have removable shells in different colours with red and green being the most common. The shells are very popular in the Mario series because of their many uses. Koopa Troopa looks so cute I just had to build him with LEGO. As you can see he is quite posable.
  9. A wiggler is a caterpillar-like creature in Nintendo’s Mario games. They are typically yellow, but turn red when angered. Wigglers are depicted as normally being calm and happy, but when angered, become dangerous and run frantically. But hey... wouldn’t you turn mad when someone jumps on you like Mario does?

    [MOC] Boo

As a child playing Mario games, I hated this little guy. He couldn't be killed! It was just all "run for your life". I mean, sure, you could turn around and stare him to a standstill, but that wouldn't get you anywhere, and then another one might sneak up from behind! The 3D version of him is a bit more cute though, and in Super Mario 64 he actually could be killed. Oh the satisfaction! Nowadays I find him quite adorable. He just wants to play, doesn't he? Koopaling's airship

I built this airship, in the style of the newer Mario games, to showcase my Koopalings at Brickworld Koopalings' airship by Cecilie Fritzvold, on Flickr
  12. This was also one of my builds for the Dual of Pirates over at brickpirate.net, with the dark tan ladder seed piece. I initially just built the 7 Koopalings, but then I also added Bowser Jr. after I lost the duel, and made him the trophy for Fujiia For those who don't know who the Koopalings are (shame on you!) they are the original 7 world-bosses from Super Mario Bros. 3 (for NES). They have since had a long break, before having been revived as bosses in some of the New Super Mario Bros games. Bowser Jr. was originally introduced in Super Mario Sunshine, but has since had much more screen time than the Koopalings. Original artwork: http://www.mariowiki.com/images/thumb/b/b0/Koopalings7.jpg/300px-Koopalings7.jpg Their current design: http://www.mariowiki.com/images/3/33/Koopalings_-_New_Super_Mario_Bros_U.png My original picture of them somewhat mimicked their poses in the picture above: The Koopalings by cecilihf, on Flickr But I have since taken individual pictures of them all. Roy and Morton are quite similarly built, but differently colored. Roy was the one I built first of all of them. Larry and Lemmy are the smallest ones. And yes, Lemmy can actually balance on the ball without any supports. But it is very hard to find the exact spot where he is in balance, and get him to stay there Wendy is the only female Koopaling, and is the most different design compared to the others. Ludwig's hair was the hardest to figure out how to do. Iggy's head is a bit top heavy, so it doesn't stay very well in place . Bowser Jr. has a bigger nose than the others, so I tried to make his face a bit different to emphasize his nose. And finally, a picture of the trophy with Bowser Jr. Bowser Jr. - DoP trophy by cecilihf, on Flickr
  13. Hi, all. I just finished another movie. It is a first in a new series. Enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qrc6T3qWFRY
  14. This is my first ever attempt at making a brick flick, and it has been a huge learning process, but also great fun . For those interested, the video was edited in kdenlive.
