  1. PlunderCats are on the move, PlunderCats are loose! The PlunderCats are a band of ferocious feline pirates lead by the fearsome Captain Fluffybeard. Their hideout is located in the middle of the Catribbean on Cat Skull Island and is essentially a big cat tree. Their ship is basically just a box with sails since the cats are usually more interested in the crate that the pirate ship parts arrive in than the actual ship itself. They don't get very far with it, though, since they tend to claw up the sails much like they do with drapes. The island used to be inhabited by Mouselanders until the PlunderCats hunted them and drove them away. The only remainder of their culture is a statue on the beach. And yes, that is a cat turd next to it. After all, what is a beach but a giant litter box. The PlunderCats are always on the run from the Imperial Armada, but recently they managed to capture their arch enemy, the scurvy dog Admiral Barkington, and are holding him hostage. They imprisoned him in a kennel on their island with a dog bowl with a delicious bone just out of reach. The admiral is not happy about his situation. Inside their cat tree house, they have a table with a treasure map and various chests and barrels. Captain Fluffybeard also likes to keep a parrot here, in case he wants a snack to play with. Outside the hut, some of the PlunderCats ladies have gotten into a swashbuckling, literal cat fight. One of them is standing on the bridge that connects the cat tree with the guard tower by the kennel prison which is armed with a hairball cannon. On the roof of the hut, one of the cats dove head-first into a barrel of catnip right after knocking over a carton milk because, well, he's a cat. There is also a crane here which when not used to lift up supplies to the cat tree, it's used to dangle cat toys from it. On one of the platforms, two very popular cat musicians, keyboard piano cat and bongo cat, are playing shanties to entertain the other PlunderCats. Let's hope they don't catch a cold up here and go viral. Up on Cat Skull Mountain inside the giant cat head is a cave where the PlunderCats keep their most prized treasure: the Golden Cheezburger. A cat skeleton is here to remind potential thieves that no one can haz it but them. From the giant skull, a waterfall runs down to the river below, making it look like a cat barfing onto a carpet. Here is a closer at Captain Fluffybeard and his fearsome crew. I hope you like my entry for the pi-RATS & BUG-aneers contest on Bricknerd. Plunder, plunder, PlunderCats yo-HO! Play me out, Bongo Cat!
  2. Hi, It's my first time to join the Eurobricks Contest. When I read the details of the TC22 Contest, this MOC (CAT Skid Steer Loader) was already WIP for months. My last tune is to tackle the size restriction (10000 cubic studs). Finally it's done and the main features are: - Total no. of pieces is around 900 - Around 1/16 to 1/17 scale; works well with the 42114 Volvo Articulated Hauler - 4WD with a modified transverse subtractor by Sariel (http://sariel.pl/) - Requires a BuWizz 1.0/2.0 or CaDA or Mould King remote battery hub - PF L Motor for the main driving - PF M Motor for the steering - PF M Motor for the bucket lifting - PF M Motor for the bucket tilting - Movable cabin - Bucket is swappable to a pallet fork or a larger bucket - Detailed cockpit and driver seat The size is 20.5 x 17 x 28.5 = 9932.25 cubic studs More pictures at: https://www.flickr.com/photos/124502100@N04/albums/72177720299363293 Video uploaded:

    [MOC] Cat

Hello, I finished a new model. It´s a cat. Built in lifesize.
  4. Hello everyone: I am glad to share this project, the mining excavator, based on Cat 6090. Phisycal Configuration: The Lego Cat6090 is a motorized digger on tracked wheels, 2 XL motors provided enough torque. On the track frame is placed the main structure, and a heavy duty turntable allows good rotations, without fricctions. The turntable is rotated by means of 1 XL motor. The main structure contains: the XL motor for turntable, the air compressor, 4 servos for pneumatic valves and the controller. The design is ultra compact in order to meet the requierement of size/scale. The tracked whell is ultra rigid structure, designed to resist extreme load. The air compressor has 4 XL motor and 2 pneumatic pumps, in order to provide a constant air flow and high pressure, both pumps are de-phased 180° in order to reduce vibrations. 4 PF-servos open/close 2 way air valves, to command all pneumatic actuators. The boom has 2 large pneumatic actuator. Due to heavy height of the boom, 4 spring supply extra force during the elevation. 2 large pneumatics actuators push/pull the arm, those actuators are placed below the arm. 2 large penumatics actuators dedicate to rotate the bucket. 1 medium pneumatic actuator, open/close the bucket. Electrical configuration: Three 18650 batteries provide an average of 11.1 V, the compressor are suplied with 11.1 V, and the servos, lights and turntable motor are suplied with 9V. A BMS (Battery Managment System) manages the charge and the discharge durgin the operation. The tracked frame is steering by the use of 11.1 V, and as well is manage by the use of a BMS. On Board System (OBS): The name given to the controller. There are two systems, one for the main structure, and the secund is used to move the tracked well. The main controller, is a server TCP/IP protocol. The controller has a ESP8266 microcontroller with a TCP/IP stack, this controller is able to be programmed in arduino languaje (also micropython) - Teh ESP8266 is used as a sever, Motor driver: used to control the compressor The 4 PF servos are controlled by means of digital outputs, and the lights. ld293d, this is a H-bridge used to control the turntable motor. The second controller, is a ESP8266 as a client, and controls the speed of the tracks. Also, it has a BMS in order to regulates the charges/discharge of the batteries Accessories: 1) Josyticks: Two joysticks, with 4 dof (degrees of freedom) each of one plus a on/off button, are connected to the server module. 2) App: An application developmented under Android studio is used to visualizate the air pressure and electrical current, this app is WIP (work in progress). Conectivity: The comunication used is socket TCP/IP- Main features: maximun pressure reached: 52 psi (358 Kpa) Voltage bus: 11.1 V Compressor electrical consuption: 23 W Weight: 6 kg Length: 30 cm width: 20 cm height: 30 cm Here some pictures, during the construction and commissioning Note: my apologies for my primitive english
  5. Hi guys, I'd like to present you my MOC of a Motorgrader, which is based on a CAT 120M2. I worked on this for about 6 months since I saw this video, hence the color scheme. The goal was to recreate as many functions of the real grader as possible, which I'd like to show in this little video. There are many pneumatic and manual functions. The grader also has has pendular suspension on front axle and twin pendular on the back wheels. Pneumatic: - Moving of front blade - Moving of rear ripper - Moving of middle blade with 3 cylinders (up/down/sideways) - Tilting of middle blade Manual: - Steering - Articulation of rear end steering for tighter turning circle or grab steer - Tilting of front wheels - Vertical turning of the blade - Shifting the blade to left/right side - Spring loaded, lockable center pin for left/right swing motion of the blade attachment mechanism One of the most challenging things has been to angle the blade for grading embankments. Therefor I needed this swing motion of the blade mechanism with the lockable center pin (notice the height difference of both pneumatic cylinders). The whole scale has been chosen according to the pneumatic cylinders (friggin expensive 1x11), where the new 68.7 tires fit perfectly in my opinion. As the cab is stuffed with pneumatic hoses, I have dropped the idea of implementing a seat and interieur. The scale fits nicely with the Arocs, which strangely is missing one pneumatic cylinder ...

  7. Every beginning of the year, I look forward to new LEGO sets and buy those I think I can build Transformers from. Usually a set or two from LEGO Creator fits the bill. And sometimes Ninjago too (sets with dragons). When I first set my eyes of LEGO Movie 2: Set 70827 Ultrakitty and Warrior Lucy .. I knew prospects were pretty high there. I delayed my purchase until recently when I saw one to the tune of 20% off retail price. Well, he's named Razorkatty because he shared similar color scheme as Razorclaw. Robot Mode! He's very articulated for something built from a single LEGO set. Leftover parts from the set were used to build a Squid-like rifle for him to hold. As usual... more photos in my blog link below: https://alanyuppie.blogspot.com/2019/06/lego-transformer-razorkatty-from-set.html Building Instructions will probably arrive a week from now ! Shall keep you guys updated!
  8. Now 99% happy with this, my interpretation of a backhoe excavator, based originally on the red farm tractor by TLG and evolved from there, enjoy, hope you like it like me, comments feedback welcome.

    Cat 297c

Hello scale modelers! I would like to show my Cat 297C model. I have had the ability to drive one of these once, and it was such a powerful, fun, and comfortable vehicle to drive. (This is not the one I drove) The model does not pose fully yet, I will make a version like that soon, but is a nice desk model. My Model: (lDD only so far. Hope you like it, I don't think it is perfect yet, but it could be.

    [MOC]fortune cat

I know a lot of people like Janese culture, as a result, a fortune cat is well know to everyone, why is so popular? Cause no one hate fortune! So, I think it would be a good idea to build a fortune cat and people could place it in their home, on their office desk, or anywhere they want. Both hands can move, so does the ears! I decorated the cat with flowers and bamboo, and of course, money! Since the parts are so many, it took me a lot of time to do the building instruction video. Here it is: Please like and comments, your opinion is worth a lot. Welcome to subsribe my channel, there are some other building videos, and I will keep uoload. here it is:https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCyyzwE_zBeyJGvVym4kWC1g

  14. Hi everyone, I am pleased today to present you the latest changes to my Caterpillar Ct660: the most important being is that I managed to pass the frame with single propulsion from Ingmar (2legoornot2lego) to a 6x6 chassis! It took me a while to get there, but I ended up doing it by completely redesigning the rear axles. The second change is the addition of a dump bed, which was not at all clear but has been greatly facilitated by the new configuration of the rear axles. For my truck I was inspired by Ingmar's trucks and thanks to him because this is the first time I am able to keep one of my moc as long (for 9 months). Normally they stay nearly 3 to 4 months assembled! Functions Steering done by a servo-motor connected with two universal joints to the front axle; Propulsion: motor-XL> 12t / 20t-> 12t / 20t / differential; LA (tipper): m-motor-> 8t / 24t-> LA The bucket is operated by a switch hidden in a control panel: For the aesthetics of the dump I opted for something simple, that is to say, square edges. And visually, it goes well with the design of the truck. Here are more photos: Fo now I'm petty satisfied with the result of my truck Feel free to ask questions and give feedback. On this good day to all!

  17. Hi! This is one of my first minimovies (so do not be too harsh with the assessment). Its "old comedy" style..but i know it could have been a little sharper picture. But still - im pretty satisfied with the result. Have made some other movies and trying to improve for every new one!

    My dream home

Hi everyone! I would like to share my recent creation "My dream home". Let's take a look at the kitchen on the ground floor first. The open kitchen is a place to cook delicious meals for the whole family. Ovens, stoves and fridges are all necessary. Cabinets of different sizes also help the cook to have the cookware and utensils well organized. When the dishes are done, the whole family can dine leisurely at the designer dining table and enjoy great meals. I love cats, so there will be cat-friendly furniture for my cats. :-) A tree-like bookshelf where the cats could hide themselves and climb up to. A cat sofa where the sofa is attached to a cat tree. Cat scratching pole, food and water bowl and a cat house are also important for happy cat life. Now let's move on to the second floor. where we have bathroom, bedroom and a LEGO room. Designer bed, closet and window. And a painting by Piet Mondrian (Composition II in Red, Blue and Yellow). Thai style bathing area. In addition to decoration of various Lego display figures, Lego parts are all well-organized so that MOCs can be done in a more systematic way. Of course we need a computer to help us to do research (as pre-building work) and for sharing. That's all for my sharing. Thanks for reading. :-)
  23. So, one of my cats (Schrödinger) finally got over the noise of the railway and decided to inspect further. After merely observing for a while, then following behind, he decided it was time to try to actively effect this new and strange beast. I'm sure you can all imagine what happened next, and sure enough, one round trip after the photograph... Let's just say that red van didn't take well to it's swift trip to the floor, nor did the cat who got somewhat deluged in a shower of Lego fright wagons!
  24. Hello everybody, My first MOC to be posted on Eurobricks is the CAT D9 bulldozer. My goal with this MOC was to make it look as good as I could while still working as well as I should like. It has these functions, all controlled by power functions: -blade powered by 1 x M-motor -ripper powered by 1 x M-motor -treads powered by 2 x L-motor, 1 on each side for skid-stearing -two pairs of LED lights with hidden switch Pictures of the model: Here is the link for a video that demonstrates all functions. If someone could tell me how to embed it, I would be very grateful, as I could not figure it out
