  1. I love classic space ships from the 80's and 90's and inspired by the rrecent release of the Galaxy Explorer set and the Blacktron remake I created this MOC as my version of a modern loking and redesigned Classic Space Ship. Will Lego launch a new Space theme? Well... you can make it happen. If you like this model; crowd support is open for voting until 3/31/2023. Intergalactic Patroller Space Ship Yes I am talking about the Bricklink's Designer Program Series 1. The contest required some limitations related to parts available and color selection. I decided to use a new palette to keep it within contests rules, but I also rendered a few options in "classic" colors. Support if you like what you see. Here is also a link to the video Showing all functions of the model: And here are the color variations just for Fun

    [moc] UN-S21 Mining Survey Vehicle

Here is my latest creation and a little lore that fed into the design. I made the speeder moc a while ago but just finished the base. I had a bunch of vibrant yellow 1x6 bricks and 1x12 plates along with Lime 1x2 curved slopes and plates from the PAB wall and set about using them here. So without further ado: In the dense atmosphere, pilots rely on instrumentation to avoid areas of high pressure which cause the crystallization of nitrogen and methane gas in the atmosphere. These 'gasbergs' have been the cause of many devastating collisions. The S21 features several innovations uniquely suited for use on the mining colony; a fully sealed body able to withstand the extreme pressures and highly caustic atmosphere of Saurus. Stabilizing piers with regular and inverted repulsers offer stability in turbulent gas currents needed to operate sensitive long-range sensors. The most unusual feature is the onboard nitrogen harvester. The nitrogen can be used to fuel the booster phase of the twin ion/combustion engines, allowing repeated orbital insertions without the need for refueling stations. When fired, the boosters ignite atmospheric xenon-nitrogen, producing distinctive green contrails.
  3. Finally, an official addition to your Rebel Fleet is here! After over a year of tweaks and specifics, mortesv's CR-90 Corvette is officially ready to be released to the public! The MOC itself contains 2,808 parts, and its manual is 133 pages long. The MOC is built to the same scale as the Nebulon-B, making a perfect addition to a rebel fleet. Lots of interest has been generated for this MOC, and mortesv and I are really glad to make its release to the community! Looking forward to seeing all of the improved fleets as well as those that will begin with this ship. If you would like to build this MOC, we are happy to share it with you in exchange for $30. Included is the pdf instruction manual, an xml part list, LDD files, and any help you need throughout the process of making the MOC. For more information please PM me or contact me at chrdvorak@hotmail.com A rebrickable page will be available soon, but for now the xml part list will be included Here are some pictures of the MOC and of the pdf manual: https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/139982-moc-ucs-cr-90-corellian-corvette-–-blockade-runner-tantive-iv/

  7. "MiraDouro" is composed of the CP 1400 series diesel locomotive and Schindler Tourist carriages. This is my favorite consist nowadays, actually, there are several colors and variations, and it's hard to find the exact same configuration the next day. The Schindler carriages - produced in the 1940s by the Swiss manufacturer Schindler and put into service on the national railway network between 1949 and 1977 - have recently been restored and their panoramic windows can be opened during the journey. It runs daily between Oporto São Bento/Campanhã and Pocinho and back. About the model - Circa 10000parts - 5KGs - 2,50meters long - motorized by 2 PF motors + Buwizz - front and tail lights - full interior - 8 months of working
  8. MOC of the Flarestar-class Attack Shuttle, a saucer-like craft used by Hondo Ohnaka's Weequay pirate gang. Sometimes also referred to as Penumbra-class Attack Shuttle. It showed up in season 1, transporting the captive Count Dooku, and in season 5. The ship in Lego form has been scaled down slightly, to system-scale, to make use of certain rounded pieces. The canopies open up, and two front boarding ramps lead up to them. These ramps can fold out but an extension has to be added for the stairs to reach the ground. There is also the main boarding ramp in the rear that can open up, leading to the main cargo hold with space for one figure, and folding landing gear (when displaying the model with a clear brick as support, the landing gear also needs extensions). [MOC] Honey House in Provence

Today I present to you my latest moc: I have always loved photographing beautiful landscapes and in 2007 I took a trip to France in Provence. Towards the end of June in Provence the fields are filled with endless rows of lavender that color the landscape and perfume the air. I adored this landscape and after the advent of the beekeeper in Series 21 of the collectible minifigs, the idea of combining the landscapes of Provence with the lavender honey that is produced in these lands immediately took off in my mind. I have concentrated all the atmospheres of Provence in a single landscape with the beekeeper's house, a field with rows of lavender, beehives, trees, flowers and vegetation. The story behind this moc is a little girl (the beekeeper's granddaughter) who is accompanied by her mother to visit her grandfather who lives in Provence and her little girl falls in love with this landscape rich in nature and animals. The house is composed of a rich interior decor which is observable by dividing the two floors and removing the roof. On the ground floor we find the kitchen and the living room, the narrowest part of the house is the laboratory where the grandfather produces his magnificent lavender honey. Through a small window he can leave the jars of honey from the laboratory directly in the kitchen. On the first floor we find the bedroom, a wardrobe and a bathroom with shower. The grandfather has furnished his house in the most welcoming way possible but it is still a rural house and therefore we will not find a television. All the time is spent in the countryside, surrounded by nature without particular technological means! In front of the house we find a fixed stall where the grandfather sells honey to visitors who come to discover Provence. The base of the moc can be divided into three parts for easy transport. The moc consists of approximately 4,200 pieces. The moc is presented for the first time at the MEI in Verona, 4 and 5 march 2023. 10. I’ve taken way too many roads to remember them all. I’ve ventured through the unknown, into the white horizon. Fearlessly, bravely. But once I stepped on this one road I knew so well... I shivered. “To move forward, you need first to face the demons of your past. It cannot be changed, forgotten, tossed in the wind, or buried in the snow. It can only be accepted”. I was not ready to come back. But destiny unraveled, and there I was. Looking for answers in the memories I tried to bury. Høydefür, as I remembered, was once an imposing fortress. A mixture of stone and timber, admired for its fortitude. Big and strong and solid. Thick walls and towers that could reach the skies stood vibrant amidst the white peaks and mountains of the North. ... But that was years ago. It’s funny how time plays its part. For in the distance, hidden in the bleak stillness of nature, a shy and lonely fort stood still. Høydefür, the strongest of the northern castles, remained untouched, unchanged. Just as I remembered. The cold wind tightened on my throat. And every step towards the wooden gates was a tough reminder of the years gone by. But the closer I got, clearer it became. The green boy I thought I killed, lived within me still. Inside the walls, the sound of metal clang and the crackling of wood resounded in my chest. Like a beast, opening its mouth to swallow the prey, the wooden gates yawned open, welcoming me to my own past. Høydefür was no more than a decaying shack. A hollow dump I used to call home. ________ Entry to the GoH 10 Challenge, Category C: Miscellaneous. I hope you all like it. Høydefür is a little story about going back to a familiar place, and finding it just as it was, but still completely different. It's funny how sometimes a little distance can change your whole perspective about a subject. It's not always comfortable to adventure through your own past. But it sure makes us grow. The green boy I thought I killed, lived within me still. Louis of Nutwood.

GoH 10 B: Back to Svalg Keep

Back to Svalg Keep To the very end of a treacherous dirt road, west of the Bay of Storms, lay a small fortress called Svalg Keep. The fortress was erected by the Old Men, where the winds were heavy, the temperature was low, and no man had reason to pass by. For behind those doors, nested only chaos and destruction. My stallion trotted through icy roads, as small bits of the fortress appeared between the snow-covered pines. The dim light of the lanterns that kept Svalg Keep alive looked blurred and weak from a distance. The more we approached, more it looked old and forgotten. I have been here before and promised never to return. Never to open the gates of chaos. Never to access the memories I prayed to forget. “But there is such joy in chaos. Stow all the world's evils behind a door and tell men that they must never, ever, open the door. And it will be opened because there is pure joy in destruction.” As I stood by the gates of Svalg Keep, the wind whispered a desperate cry, hustling through the trees and fading in the distance. Iron chains hugged tight to the rusty handles, to ensure what was in, would never come out. I chuckled. Every path would lead me here. Where everything began. For chaos and destruction live in every warrior’s soul. And only amidst chaos, we can find our peace. Built for Guilds of Historica's Anniversary Challenge, Category B: Old but Gold _________ I've built Svalg Keep back in 2019. By the time, I had just started writing my own stories. The castle came alive as I built it the first time -- much more alive in my imagination. And I've always wanted to revisit it. It was also my first build to be featured. That build made me start interacting with you guys and the LEGO community in general. And I believe it was my entry-ticket to the Guilds of Historica. Re-imagining that build was a way to revisit those days I got introduced in the frozen lands of Mitgardia, my proud and heartfelt homeland. That's my way of saying thank you. For years of fun-creative-building-storytelling time. Here is the old (but gold) version: Hope you like it, folks. I've made some considerable adaptations. But luckily you can grasp the resemblance. Let me know what you think. Skol! Louis of Nutwood
  15. Kaliphlin District of Cedrica Kaliphlin District of Cedrica Cedrica is a melting pot for all of Historica’s guilds. Life is busy on this warm day in the Kaliphlin district. Ladies enjoy drinks at the café while merchants haggle on the streets. Kaliphlin soldiers patrol these canals to make sure the right sort of justice is enforced. Merchants, Soldiers and Ladies I created this 32x32 module for the Guilds of Historica final 10th Anniversary Challenge: “Life in Cedrica” category. This was a great way to bring a Kaliphlinian look to another setting while building out a bit Cedrica’s lore outside the palace. View from Behind Roof Architecture

    [MOC] Medieval Trebuchet

Hi! After a little break, I'm slowly coming back to the Castle! Maybe some of you know my projects of siege machines, and there were some - trebuchet, catapult, ballista, mantlet. A few years ago I built a working trebuchet and diorama "The Siege of Bricks". After a few years, I'm coming back to the topic and building a trebuchet again! This time it will be bigger, stronger and better historically reproduced. I hope I'll be able to make an PDF instruction, although it will not be easy, because there will be a lot of ropes and other non-standard accessories (lead balls in counterweight) I wish this time the range of the trebuchet was about 7-8 meters! The previous version had about 5-6 meters of range. I'm curious if 7-8 is possible. Currently the counterweight weighs 164g, which is more than before, the trebuchet is bigger, it has a longer arm. We'll see, haven't tested yet. More soon on my YT channel - Edge of Bricks. I will update the progress from time to time. Let me know what you think about this project!
  18. The MagnePulse Xcelerator is M-Tron's latest development in magnetic technology, an incredibly fast spacecraft featuring two large magnetic repulsion engines and a detachable cockpit that can serve as a rover. The rover is attached via magnets and seats one pilot and either a passenger or a cargo crate. The cockpit has a vertical panoramic window that also functions as the front wheel of the rover.

    MOC Meditation retreat

I'm not building with bricks as much as I'd like to, but when I do, this represents some sort of relaxation and meditation. Specifically, this tiny pavilion over the lake was inspired by several art pieces of Asian-inspired gardens and landscapes. In addition, it started out as a digital MOC due to a lack of space to find the basic parts to test the concept of the pavilion's support, and then it quickly grew to an almost final build. However, when I finally collected almost all of the parts needed, I found a few weaknesses that needed an update. Nevertheless, the complete experience was once again a very relaxing retreat from every day's stress and that is exactly what this hobby means to me - a way to relax during the busy days, take my mind off, and wander off to fantasy landscapes anything is possible.
  20. Day 1: Hello, I'm Ned from the Trans Galactic Info Channel (TGIC) sponsored by Blue Bird Inc. and Meta 3 Corp. As you may or may not know, today starts a special event called Febrovery. Please connect your feeds directly to the channel and tune in starting today. Please scan the code that will be shown after this message.* *(Offer available for the whole duration of the month, no money back, accepting the usual credits of the Federation. Subliminal messages will be shown at select intervals, no extra purchase necessary). Anyway, today I'm at the unveiling of a new statue to commemorate an iconic rover, nicknamed the Space Buggy or the good ‘old 886. A select few have gathered to witness this happening. Apparently you needed a specific helmet to attend, I’m not sure what that is all about, something about being classic. Also, why are they all standing behind me. Hey, please direct the camera at me, I need to be in the picture here, eh, I mean the statue, of course you all came to see the statue. The Space Buggy was one the first smaller standalone rovers that could be bought in the Federation, although it lacked the sophistication of many larger rovers, the small part count meant that it was very affordable, has low maintenance and could be used by many to explore the surface of the moon and other planets. Did you can still buy one today, mostly in used condition, but you can still have great fun owning such a classic. This concludes our short report, thanks for tuning in, and don’t forget to subscribe, also follow me @NedIsTheBest.meta3.moon2be to stay up to date with the latest news about me. FebRovery 2023 - 01 by Ids de Jong, on Flickr Day 2: Today I'm looking for some rovers, apparently I get paid each day to interview some random people about rovers. Today I found, this weird fella, eh, I mean esteemed guest of the Exploriens. This small rover, the 'Signal Tracker', is powered by the solar cell located at the back. It also has plenty of communication possibilities and is used to explore the surface, it lacks place for a second person, so is very useless to transport people. Or something like that. FebRovery 2023 - 02 by Ids de Jong, on Flickr Day 3: I heard the education program for space exploration starts at a very young age these days, let's find some people to interview. Ned: "Hello, what's your opinion about these young astronauts?" Brown spaceman: "I'm not sure what they were thinking. Did you see how the young ones drive these days." Red spaceman: "...." Ned: "Catch them young, as they would say." Red spaceman: "I'm not so sure about that..." FebRovery 2023 - 03 by Ids de Jong, on Flickr Day 4: A new day, a new rover, today I haven't found one yet. TV Crew: "But I have, he doesn't like interviews, aaah....". Quickly let's find another one then. This concludes our quick report for today. FebRovery 2023 - 04 by Ids de Jong, on Flickr Day 5: Today, a special parade is held and many different rovers are passing this area. A large crowd has gathered behind me as you can see. A special commemorative rover is just passing by, reminding us of a couple of important space factions in the Federation. I'm not sure why the astronauts are dressed as rabbits though... FebRovery 2023 - 05 by Ids de Jong, on Flickr -- Thanks for looking.
  21. Part of what got me into LEGO Technic years ago was an interest in designing a MOC of Lamborghini's original Aventador, the LP700-4. After a lot of procrastination, I've finally started on it. I'm not 100% happy with the chassis and I put compromises in so that I could test the fit and scale of various components. This will be a 1:10 scale model and it's my intention to implement a modified version of the gearbox from the Pimp my Lamborghini Project (https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-46782/jb70/42115-pimp-up-my-lamborghini/#details). I also intend on implementing some form of pushrod suspension for the front + back wheels and the original air brake system. There are a lot of things I like about the current gearbox, but there are significant space limitations I need to take into account. The gearbox may need to be redesigned but right now it fits nicely in the chassis. I'm currently having a challenge implementing the DNR and gear shifters in the small space. I'm very happy with the rear suspension as it is compact, to-scale, and captures a lot of the aspects of the Aventador's pushrod-style suspension. I've designed it to have more travel than a supercar normally would because I prefer it that way for Technic models. The front suspension is a mess of compromises to keep height down since at this scale I have 1 or 2 studs more at most before I hit the hood. Here there are many more challenges before I'd consider it done. I haven't found a 100% perfect solution yet, but I have managed to maintain my height limit by expanding laterally. I'm having trouble designing a steering rack with a good geometry, but the current version is adequate for now. The mechanism is very similar to the rear suspension, only it has been flattened and widened to accommodate steering and front wheel drive. I might be tempted to raise the height by a stud, but I'd have to begin on front fenders to see what the height limit will be. Steering is wonky but adequate for now.
  22. I've recently gotten into designing some castles, but so far, none of them have been in minifig scale. Still, they turned out quite big. So I wanted to do a minifig scale castle at a reasonable size. I guess I achieved the former goal. Anyway, I picked Castle Lichtenstein, a beautiful little castle in the south of Germany. And I scaled it down a little bit more to make it more feasible. Unfortunately, things escalated again and the result is again too big to build it at a reasonable price. I am happy with the result though. I'm thinking about entering into Lego Ideas, even though it's way too big to ever make it into a set. But one could drastically reduce the part count by removing large parts of the cliff, get rid of the plants and a lot of the tiles, don't have double walls, etc. Anyway, what do you guys think? And BTW, here's a picture of the real Castle Lichtenstein

  24. A Trebuchet.cro colleague talked me into to start building castles. First I built a small tower a few years ago , and then I expanded to the buildings in the city and the surrounding countryside and port. After collecting bricks for a long time, I decided to knock down a small tower and make a castle, so that part of the interior can be seen. The castle is 80 cm high. We start from the kitchen, then the great hall, the royal bedroom and finally the sleeping princess. It is planned to raise the walls and to expand the city and the port.
  25. Happy May the 4th everyone! Today is a special day. That's why I'm releasing my first MOC: the Torment Imperial-II Star Destroyer. Made of 3,011 pieces, 25 inches long (79 studs), weighing 2kg, it's a medium-sized, modular Imperial-II Star Destroyer holding on a single Lego stand. It features all of the recognizable elements of the real studio model: turrets, antennas, hangars, bridge, neck, engines, with close attention to every detail and proportions of the original Imperial-II ship from Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. Designing took about 70 days, plus 15 days for building / testing, & another 15 days for making instructions and photos. More than 3 months of work. My goal was to build the most accurate SD as I could, in a limited scale - a moderately-sized build that could still easily fit on a desk or shelf, and be moved freely. This choice of scale made working on greeble and proportions a real challenge. Designing a single, secure stand was not an easy task either. But after all this work, I'm really happy with the result. Hope you guys enjoy it, and may the 4th be with you! ► Instructions for the Torment are available at BrickVault. More pictures on my Flickr page. Extra pictures (dark mode disabled!) :
