    [moc] Space Police speeder bikes

First, the Speeder Bike That Looks Like It Shouldn't be Able to Balance Like That but It Does. Officer Hoodbot is along to provide an example of typical, heavily armed and stylish, modern robot police personnel. Second, the Heretic bike, in Space Police livery. I call it heretic because the bike fairing is modified. I snapped the clips on the bottom somehow, on accident, then removed them entirely to fit in the two-stud-wide chassis. While here, I would like to nominate http://alpha.brickli...em.page?P=85861 for the Nobel Peace Prize, thank you all very much for your support
  3. Hello All, So I have gotten back into Lego thanks to the gorgeous modular buildings and have found an issue regarding my older town sets not exactly..., fitting in? So I thought... time for an upgrade. So here we see the issue at hand: Not very consistent for my tastes at least. So here was the plan: And here are the results: Another: Another: And one from the back... now I still have to do the interior and I like the back-open style play so kept that (I will mod my modulars to be back-open play as well) Also need to reinforce one of the floor elements... but the idea is there. Well there you go.

    A good idea

Seeing the new releases of Playmobil I have seen this: As you can see the crock is dressed as a prisoner with a vest. If you take him the vest he becomes a regular citizen. I think TLC could design something similar to avoid the overpopulation of crocks and evaded prisoner that our cities have nowadays. But please TLC, if you do it, do it well and avoid strange neck effects like this:

MOC Police swat team with a humvee

Hi this is a set of police swat which includes a vehicle, four minifigures and some accessories. It was modified from my military humvee so to make it less violent : ). The bonnet, doors and trunk lid are fully openable. Two minifigures can seat properly inside the car while the others need to squeeze in. If you like it could you kindly support it on Lego ideas? Cheers. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/127756

    [MOC] Police Intervention Unit

This is a MOC I made last week. Here it is the Police Intervention Unit. In cases where the usual fire power is not enough it is called PIU to solve the problem. A team usually consists of an autonomous intervention droid (PID-25) and a support agent on a hover scooter. If necessary it's possible to coordinate several teams to conduct more effective operations. Although there are rumors that these teams can not work together, the truth is that only have soared between them on a couple of times causing injuries of varying degrees. It has drastically reduced the hostage conflict resolution time since the PIU are operational with a survival rate of 22%, and despite what has been said in other media, most victims do not present injuries caused by weapons of PID-25. 9. 'My name is Sherlock Holmes. It is my business to know what other people don't know.' -The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle Hello and thank you very much for checking out this post! Make sure to support our latest project on Lego Ideas! This project depicts the iconic entrance of Baker Street 221B as well as a Hansom cab with driver and three minifigs. A victorian police constable, Homes' assistant John Hamish Watson with his revolver and the master himself Sherlock Homes with his iconic deerstalker hat and a magnifying glass. This project is not based on any Sherlock Holmes movie or TV series but the original stories written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and with less than 400 bricks it would make a fantastic Lego Ideas set. Now it's up to you. I've you're a Sherlock Holmes fan make sure to hit the support button and spread the word. Also make sure to leave a comment if you have any suggestions. Thanks a lot to my fellow collaborator gabriele.zannotti for making the beautiful pictures of the model. On flickr you can have a look at his other masterpieces! Thank you for your attention. This is a collaboration between gabriele.zannotti and saabfan.

    Best of the best

Howdy all! I'm in the middle of designing a MOD/MOC for my daughter's Christmas present based off of City Police Station 7498, which I always felt was the 'best' City Police Station in modern times. But my OH pointed out that others would totally see the play-ability options in 60047 as making that set superior, even though I always felt the building was a bit naff. So, I began wondering - what, of the major sets, are the best of the best? Which one if YOUR favourite, and why? Major sets would be Fire Station, Police Station, Garage, Hospital etc; I've noticed everyone says "we haven't had a proper hospital since Town's ETC 6380" and I'm wondering if the same thing has happened with other big sets, or if it's a matter of taste?
  12. REVIEW - 42047 - POLICE INTERCEPTOR INTRODUCTION Starting with the 42010 - Off-road Racer and 42011 - Race Car in 2013, TLG released two sets in the first half of each year, using a pull-back motor. The pull-back motor allows the model to be pulled back, followed by forward motion. Usually there's no apparent relation between the two set, other than the ability to combine them into an alternate build. This year there seems to some sort of Cops and Robbers scene going on. A Getaway Racer and a Police Interceptor. That can't be a coincidence. Makes you wonder who will be victorious, the good guys or the bad guys. Let's find out! Note: All images can be clicked for hi-res versions. SET INFORMATION Number: 42047 Title: Police Interceptor Theme: Technic Released: 2016 Part Count: 185 Box Weight: 325 gr Box Dimensions: 26,0 cm x 13,8 cm x 5,9 cm Set Price (MSRP): € 19,99 Price per Part: € 0,108 Links: Brickset, Bricklink THE BOX The box has the same dimensions as previous year's pullback motor sets. In the lower right corner there's a visual explanation of the pullback mechanism. Lime green might seem unusual for a police car, but it might work out better than expected. CONTENT OF THE BOX The box contains: 1 Instructions Booklet 1 Sticker Sheet 2 Technic Liftarms 1 Pull-back Motor 3 Bags INSTRUCTION BOOKLET The instruction booklet for the main model. Unfortunately no booklet for the alternate model. STICKER SHEET The sticker sheet shows similar lime green details as found in the rest of the model. PULL-BACK MOTOR AND LIFTARMS The pull-back motor and liftarms haven't been sealed in plastic bags. BAGS Three bags containing the rest of the parts. HIGHLIGHTED PARTS This section describes the new and/or otherwise interesting parts. 7L AXLE IN YELLOW The 7L Axle has never been released in yellow before. This year TLG surprised us with releasing axles in different colors, like yellow, red and orange. This set only contains a yellow 7L Axle, but you can checkout my other reviews to see which other axles have been (re)released. This 7L Axle has also been used in the Drag Racer. LIME GREEN PARTS The 30.4mm D. x 20mm Wheels are unique to this set. They have been released in various colors, but never in lime green. The 3x3 L-shaped Thin Liftarms haven't been released in lime green since 2001. TIRES These 43.2 x 22 ZR Tires haven't been used in pullback sets before. They do appear in 48 other sets though, so they aren't very rare. WHITE PANELS If you haven't bought Commander Cody or the Mercedes Arocs this looks like the perfect set to get some of the small white panels. PART LIST This set contains 185 parts, shown below. THE BUILD Since it's a small model, I will skip the building steps. I hereby present the finished Police Interceptor. I was on the fence about lime green, but seeing it in real life takes every doubt away. Although not your average police color scheme, the lime green does add a kick to this set. I do love the overall SUV shape of the model. The Driving Ring Connector used in the chassis of the Race Cart (see my review) are used constructing the roof of this model. That relatively new parts proves to be very versatile. Even though there are quite a few stickers, which add some lime green details to the model, the model looks great without stickers too. It doesn't rely as much on the stickers at the Getaway Racer does. The chassis is pretty basic, using the pullback motor in the rear axle. VIDEO Here's a short video showing the model. LEFTOVER PARTS A few common leftover parts. FEATURES AND FUNCTIONS VIDEO Here's a video demonstrating the pull-back functionality. And yes, my girlfriend was kind enough to catch the model before it fell to the ground B-MODEL The alternate model, the Extreme Police Racer, is a combined build with the Getaway Racer, which you can see on the back of the box. Unfortunately the instructions for the combined B-model are not included, so I didn't get a chance to build it. The double rear-wheeled formula one type racer seems to be cool enough to give it a go. SUMMARY I think this is one of the best looking pull-back racers, together with the 42026 Black-Champion-Racer from 2014. The Getaway Racer looks very good too, but it does rely heavily on it's stickers. Lime green adds a kick to this model. Combined with white it provides a great color scheme. The model itself has a very distinctive SUV look, which is properly executed. Negative aspects are hard to find. This is a winner!! SCORE How do I grade the good guy in this year's duo. 9 DESIGN The lime green actually works. Less dependent on stickers than the Getaway Racer. 7 BUILDING EXPERIENCE Nothing out of the ordinary. 7 FEATURES Limited to the pull-back functionality. 7 PLAYABILITY Combined with the Getaway Racer, kids will love it. 8 PARTS Lime green rims are unique to this set. Lots of useful white parts. 8 VALUE FOR MONEY Pullback sets always deliver a certain value. 7,7 GOOD GUYS DON'T ALWAYS FINISH LAST More image can be found on my Flickr page. Thank you for reading. I hope you enjoyed it.

    LEGO - The Grand theft!

This is another mini movie from NevertooOld The theme is a museum break in and its followed by a thrilling man hunt!
  14. Command Post Central, the police station of the Town Jr era, distinctive by its use of trans green windows, released in 1998, was my first ever Lego set. As such, the set set earns a special place in my Lego collection (which since joining here, I have realised is quite meagre). Anyway, as you may know, the Town Jr era was criticised for its use of simplified building techniques and large pieces, and sets released during this period get heavily mocked today. To combat this, I have created an LDD* model heavily inspired by Command Post Central's aesthetic, using the Creator Modular Building guidelines (in regards to sidewalks, connections, storey heights and access). I have designed it in a way that uses more common, hopefully cheaper, bricks (cue many posters saying x brick is now hugely expensive on Bricklink), that when I do eventually decide to build this, it will be fairly reasonable to. OK, there aren't any fancy building techniques, and does not have the cute storybook gingerbread details like the modulars, but I'm content with it. I guess it also could be converted to an office building. Apologies in advance for the awful pictures, LDD can be a nightmare to get decent camera angles in. 2942 pieces. This MOC is fairly modern in style, incorporating many modernistic elements (I think ... I'm a town planner not an architect!) utilising clean lines, floor to ceiling windows that rise up the entire building. The tower is four storeys high (each floor exactly 10 bricks tall). The top three floors are interchangeable, (and can even be ommitted if a one storey building is desired), as each floor has the same footprint, and staircase located in the same place. Ground Floor: Foyer For public enquiries, the foyer has a front desk and waiting area, and a notice board for community information. In addition, the ground floor also contains access and a car port for patrol cars. First Floor: Holding Cell Features a cell with sliding door to hold any suspects, complete with a utilitarian bed, also has a waitig area for the public, bailers and the yet to be locked up, as well as a vending machine and water cooler for the thirsty. Second Floor: Squad Room Using the latest in computing technology, the police can track down suspects from the (dis)comfort of their office chairs, this floor also includes the break room to fill up on coffee and steal yoghurts, and the Chief's office, with panoramic windows to observe all. Third Floor: Forensic Lab Where all the actual detective work is done according to modern television, here is where the lab rats find the killer who always uses a highly new and exclusive product, made by only one manufacturer and sold in only one store in the city, that happens to keep a record of its customers, which includes the only person they met since the murder occurred. The lab includes the central work table thing with a microscope, a fridge to store evidence, as well as the evidence locker which is protected from tampering. Comments, criticisms and opinions welcome. *Due to being a financially strapped student, any and all brick built models will have to wait until I graduate and commence a career. Though I do wonder how extortionately expensive the modulars of today will be by then.
  15. Here is a load of old MOC's First off is a Mercedes 508. The wheels are a bit big, and it has a couple of yellow lights on the back because i was out of white 1x1 bricks when i built it. So now it's an off-road van with rear work lights It can seat 2 minifigs in the front, and has lots of lovely space in the back. Next is a lovely little red Mercedes Gelände Wagen. i don't have much to say about it. It can seat 2 minifigs in the front. And here is a Piaggio APE. I love this little silly looking things. I couldn't fit a steering wheel in there because of the SNOT attachment of the front wheel, but it might be possible with some of the newer 1x2 brackets, i just don't have any. And last, but not least, a generic police cruiser. It fits 2 figs in the front(minus hats) and 2 in the back. I was running low on white parts when I made it, so it has some odd colors in some places. I put the two 1x2 slopes on the front bumper in stead of cheese slopes and a 1x4 tile. This allows the option of adding rams, or what ever it is those Americans have on there, and the "police" tile fitted in between so nicely. This concludes the first batch of treasures from my basement Please let me know what you think

(Review) Lego City Police Accesory Set

Hi evey EuroBrickers from all around the world.Today i would like to make a review about hte Lego City Police Accesory Set that released at February 2013. Set Information Set name : Lego City Police Accesory Set Set number : 850617 Piece count : 34 Age recommended : 5+ Theme : Lego City Police Year released : February 2013 Price : $14.99 Lego Shop website description: Fight crime in LEGO® City! Fight crime in LEGO® City with 4 prebuilt police minifigures and a police dog! Begin or expand your LEGO City Police collection with tons of story-sparking accessories including a police barrier, bone, handcuffs, binocular element, metal detector element, flashlight, walkie-talkie element set, briefcase and 2 megaphones.• Includes dog and 3 pre-built male and 1 female police minifigures with accessories• Features police barrier, bone element, 2 handcuff elements, binocular element, metal detector element, flashlight, walkie-talkie element set, briefcase and 2 megaphones.• Expand your LEGO® City Police collection! The Box/Packaging I accidentally throw away the box/packaging of this accesory set,but here is how the packaging look like according to LEGO Shop Website. As you see from the picture, the set is packed with a plastic cover that sealed on a smooth textured cardboard with a simple ilustration.I don't very like how TLC design the packaging, because the plastic cover can be easily opened by sharp object like scissors and dagger.I prefer to packing the set in a small box. The Build Same like the City Fire Accesory sets, the minifigures has already been built.Nothing special here. The Minifigures Same like the City Fire Accesory sets, this set is provided with 4 minifigures. In this set,you got 1 SWAT male Police Officer minifigure with hair,2 SWAT Male Police Officer with SWAT helmet, and 1 SWAT female Police Officer.here is the front look at the minifigures. I don't like how the visor attached to the helmet.Same like the other 2013 City Police set,you use this helmet thing and connect the visor like how you connect this goggles piece to Hoth rebel trooper helmet in Star Wars sets.but the visor is not sturdy and it will easily fall out from the helmet.None of the minifigures has a alternate face. The back view of the minifigures. All minifigures in this accesory set has back printings, which is not a bad thing. The Accesories In this accesory set,you get 2 handcurfs,2 torch light,1 mini suitcase,1 white road block that also available in 60044,1 dog,1 white bone,1 redesigned metal detector,2 black megaphones that used as blaster from the early years of Star Wars theme,2 over-sized walkie-talkie and 1 mini binocular. Some interesting parts in this accesory set. The whole set with minifigures. Rating Minifigures - 6/10 Nice and detailed printings on the minifigures, but I need some new face printings in the City Theme minifigures line. Parts - 6/10 Nothing special, except the dog, redesigned metal detector, the road block, and the bone. Build - 0/10 Nothing to build. Price - 3/10 Expensive for what you get when you compare it to the other $15 - $20 sets. Design - 2/10 For a accesory set, what the heck is the word "design"? Overall - 5/10 Final Verdict After I buyed this set and play with it with my City police forces,I rate this set as a average set.Althrough this set has good minifigures, give me some good pieces, and expand your City police forces, but if you compare this set to 7279,60042,and the other $15 - $20 sets,it's expensive for what you get. Overall, not the worst accesory set you can get,but not the best accesory set. Thanks for reading this review! The end. By Armstrong Yong

    [moc] Space Police cruiser

This is a standard patrol car.. space car? for my Space Police force. It's the first thing I built with play features in mind. So... the roof detaches easily for cabin access. Interior shot showing the controls and accessories: pistol to the right of the pilot, handcuffs to the left. The rear is cargo space, or prisoner transport. It's occupied at the moment. Top semidisassembled to give a better view of the interior. That space in back is pretty bare. Pilot, prisoner, accessories. Without a prisoner, those extra cuffs are left to just rattle around in back, make lots of noise. This provides an incentive to arrest someone as quickly as possible, promoting good police work!
  19. Since the other thread got locked, I will present these models in this new thread. I always wanted to do a Police style car so this seemed like a great opportunity to do a proper Yin & Yang take on the same vehicle... Both models feature many new 2015 parts including the new driving rings and gears in my first ever linkage style gear shifter... The black one does use some parts that are either impossible to find(19L black flexible axles) or other parts(like the 9L and 11L orange liftarms) that are very expensive... I am going to try and figure out a way to properly work around the flex axles and incorporate 16L ones, but the best presentation seems to be the 19L ones... I think with the release of the 42043 and the new white micro panels, this car can easily be done in all white, or a combination of white and another color since now the 19L flexible axles in white are abundant.. MOC - police cars

Hi all, after 9 years of service it was about time I upgraded my fleet of 7236 based police cars to a more modern standard. My old mods of the set were based on the Holden Commodore so it was only natural that the new cars followed the trend. All in all, it took about 15 minutes to come up with the new body and 2 hours to try and connect the new front end, but once the base model was done the station wagon was a breeze. I'll use my 3x 7236's for the majority of parts in the new version and the stickers from the set will stay in place for the markings. This version will be getting the high profile lightbars and an overall white paint job to keep in line with high visibility policing around city streets. The two highway patrol cars will be scratch-built (the red ones almost done already) and are getting low profile LED lightbars and markings. I'm only planning on making one undercover unit for now, I'm just hoping LEGO releases the fender in green at some stage. I don't think the 1x6 inverted slopes are available in green either but I can build in a compromise there easily enough. I've uploaded the .LXF for the sedan and wagon to brickshelf for anyone who's interested, it's for the civi version but it's easy enough to modify them to suit any needs. Keep an eye out here as I may jump the fence temporarily to build a Ford Falcon at some point and let me know what you think.
  25. Hi, Here is a very nice MOC ,created by Filsawgood (Russia) that I can not hide from you. Author is not presented here yet. He was inspired by Ford Bronco 1994 He promised to finish LDD soon.
