Hello there! Starting with the photo: I wanted to build an AT-ST for quite a while already and now the monthly building challenge on another LEGO forum was about iconic vehicles from movies... well, the decision what to build was not very hard! I hope you like it...

When I saw set 75936 first time I fell in love with this huge T. rex. Then during building it I found big similarity between body of T. rex and chicken I had for lunch. This gave me initial idea: "Is it possible to rebuild T. rex into chicken and use only its parts?" Now I can say YES! I used original legs, modified body, make neck longer, built new tail, wings and head and here is Chicken rex (in short C. rex). It feaures moving legs, wings, neck, head and opening beak. You can find its detailed review here. And by the way it is even life-size - you can see my chicken besides medium sized egg for comparison at picture bellow. Since this year Easter is almost cancelled, I decided to use Easter related minifigures to illustrate proverb known in many European countries: Where two are fighting, the third wins.

Despite that, I think the van, the chicken coop and the large variety of minifigure utensils make a whole separately. So I decided to start a LEGO Ideas project. Entry number four into the Colossal Castle Contest XVI. I built this house for another project, but figured I might as well enter it into the miscellaneous category. There is a full interior inside the house, accessed via lift off roof. I'll be using this build in a tutorial covering how to angle buildings on landscapes in the future - but it probably won't be posted until the CCC is done Many farmers have small homesteads in the tundra of Mitgardia. Hello! Recently I have decided to enter a contest over on Flickr, the Colossal Battle Contest in the group LEGO War. One of the categories is Beasts of battle, and I was wondering if anyone had ideas/techniques of how to build cool animals that might fit that theme. I already have one entry done, but I still want to hear some ideas and learn some new techniques to apply in other builds as well. I hope this topic will help others too, because I know that animals and beasts are often rather difficult to realistically represent in LEGO brick form. Thanks everyone!

I made a couple Mad Max 2 vehicles in 4 wide for my photo a day project. The movie came out in 1982 and the LEGO vehicle standard was 4 wide at the time. Max's Interceptor Humungus' truck This highway ain't big enough for the both of us.
