  2. The Decadence - Class IV Fleet Carrier by rolli The Decadence is a Class IV Fleet Carrier and the home to hundreds of small star fighters, ten MK6 troop carriers and one SX Destroyer. Its unique shape allows for a big turbine on the side that, together with the array of thrusters on the back, provide the propelling power that make The Decadence one of the fastest fleet carriers out there. ----- A ton of saxophones, dark blue and orange and small star fighters and bombers entertained me throughout the last weeks. And yes, this SHIP is "sideways" - I wanted to break with the usual conventions. I had a blast building this and showing it in Skaerbaek last weekend. Hope you like it, let me know what you think! 3. Presenting my SHIP for SHIPtember 2015 Warning: Contains adult innuendos like Mel Brook's Space Balls. Viewer discretion is advised. SHIPtember 2015 HMS Penetrator by dr_spock_888, on Flickr SHIP name: HMS Penetrator Final SHIP length: 100 studs HMS Penetrator is the first of the Dick class of "stick it into the enemy" ships. It is designed to penetrate the hull of capital ships and inject an elite force of sea men deep inside the enemy vessel. Once inside, they will wreck havoc and seize the vessel. The hull is cladded with a superstrong slippery smooth tile material for ease of entry. The dual head drill units are low maintainence and self-lubricating. They are able to screw over the hardest of capital ships. The SHIP is built mostly out of cups of Pick A Brick wall pieces: 1x8 tiles, 2x4 brackets, 1x4 plates, 1x2 plates. It has a Power Functions M-motor that drives the drill heads plus Power Function LED lights. Motors and LEDs are connected to a PF IR Reciever. Drill speed and light intensity can be controlled by a PF IR Train/Speed remote. Video of the heads in action: This is my most stiff SHIP to date. It doesn't droop like my previous SHIPs. I swooshed it with the battery box banging around inside and it stayed intact. The evil Galatic Empire borrowed it for testing before signing a letter of intent. Day 272 of 365: Hull Breached by dr_spock_888, on Flickr It was a good SHIPtember month. I learned to use the Path Tool and replace background in GIMP and make a stronger internal frame.

Imperial Space Ships - real life

(Moderators, please note: These ships are inspired by Star Wars vehicles / sets , but they are not linked to star wars in any other way. As such, please do not move this thread to Star Wars forum. Thank you!) also, sorry for the blurry pictures. These are the best I could do. The Nevermore was commissioned in 2009 as the second ship of the "Vanguard" class of Star Cruiser. The ship's only sister vessel, the Usher, was destroyed in 2010 by a Blacktron strike force while the Nevermore was just a skeleton-frame and a yard number. (The Usher was enroute to the Unknown Regions to confront a Fleet of Blacktron ships headed for the Imperial shipyards, located on the world of Titan IV) The Nevermore was finished at lightning speed and was launched the week before the Blacktron arrived in May 2011, and soundly beat the Blacktron fleet with the help of a prototype Ion Cannon attached to Titan IV's surface. After chasing the Blacktron from the sector, the ship was christened the Nevermore by his Imperial Highness himself, with it's symbol being the Raven. In August 2012, the ship set off with orders to join up with the Imperial frigate Lenore and two Assault Carriers named the Avenger, and the Impervious (among with several dozen support ships and fighters) to from the Home Fleet. Name: Nevermore Owner: Lego Empire Model: Vanguard Class Star Cruiser Designer: Imperial Design Dept. Manufacturer: Imperial Shipyards Engines: 16 Twin Ion Engines (TIE) Max Speed: 1,850 MPH Max Hyper Speed: 60% speed of light The Nevermore features 16 engines. As you may have guessed, this ship is a modified version of set 9515: the Malevolence made into Imperial Gray-scale. The command bridge of the Nevermore features Admiral Oswald Lyons seat (on the right) with Lt. Commander Eliza Burnside (top seat) and Doctor Andrew Sinister (bottom seat) Right: Admiral Oswald Lyons Middle: Dr. Andrew Sinister Left: Lt Commander Eliza Burnside The Lenore was built during the last Blacktron War in late 2010. It was built with an experimental engine system which super-charged the regular TIE reactor into a BO-TIE ultra-reactor. This will make the regular Twin Ion Engine obsolete... once all the kinks are worked out with the design. Until such time, the cream of the crop in reactor technicians and their associated equipment are stationed on the Lenore should anything go wrong. This ship can go faster at light-speed than the Nevermore, though it trundles along at slower speed when not at full throttle. (It's sort of like a conventional turbine: works well at full speed but it's not so fuel efficient at lower speeds) Anyway, the Lenore is currently stationed in the Home Fleet the Star Cruiser Nevermore with two Assault Carriers named the Avenger, and the Impervious, among with several dozen support ships and fighters. Name: Lenore Owner: Lego Empire Model: Poe Class frigate Designer: Imperial Design Dept. Manufacturer: Imperial Shipyards Engines: 3 Boosted Output Twin Ion Engines (BO-TIE) Max Speed: 1,300 MPH Max Hyper Speed: 65% speed of light rear view featuring the 3 BO-TIE engines. Right: Captain Patricia Romanov Middle: Dr. Edward Jekyll Left: Lt. Commander Landon Williams Both the Nevermore (top) and the Lenore (bottom) are in scale with each other. ...and here is the symbol of the mighty LEGO Empire. Well, that's all for now. What do you think? Comments, Questions, & Complaints are welcome!

Imperial Navy - Empire Class Sentinel

My entry for Cracker Inc. telephone starfighter game, round 7. Have been in semi enforced dark age, so first time back here in a while! This is entirely swooshable and stickered to within a inch of its life. Background edit by me buddy Steebles. The Sentinel is an Orbital espionage platform. Intel gained from both the Russian and American space programs has been utilised to develop next generation surveillance technology.. Armed with twin cowl rail guns and equipped for extended duration missions, the Sentinel is the British Empires first line of defence against hostile enemy forces. Capable of homing in on precision objectives, the Sentinel can eliminate individual high value targets with ease. The Sentinel is piloted by Operative code name Night Owl. Night Owl is a genetically enhanced soldier capable of near hibernation like sleep. This enables him to maintain a state of constant readiness, only roused when the ships sensor array wakes him with new orders or a proximity alarm.

    [MOC] Orion Deep Space Cruiser

Finally finished! I also managed to do my first edit job with Photoshop (I previously only used Lightroom). Bio: Orion class deep space cruiser have been used for years as a reliable way to transfer goods, passenger and other cargo on long haul space flights. [LDD] Lego Space Reloaded - M:Tron

Sup guys! It's been a while since I've posted anything, so I decided to fix that. Today I am going to treat you with what I believe to be the revamps to all small-to-middle M:Tron sets. Let's start with a droid I made as an addition to my series of Space-thematic robot helpers. M-Tron Service Bot by Artemiy Karpinskiy, on Flickr The service drones of M:Tron are created to serve on the huge space ships, and therefore their chassis are made to roll on the relatively flat surfaces of various cargo holds and hallways. Have no special tools, only their hands to assist them. Next on the list is revamp of #1478 Mobile Satellite Uplink. M-Tron Mobile Satellite Uplink by Artemiy Karpinskiy, on Flickr As you can see, I have continued the idea of roller-ball chassis, and it was not long before I decided to make it the theme of all M-Tron vehicles. I know that in real life the friction won't allow those balls to actually roll, but one can dream, right? =) The main features of the set are traditional steering through joint in the middle, plus deployable satellite dish with two antennae, and tiltable chassis for better mobility. Second in the line is 6833 Beacon Tracer. M-Tron Beacon Tracer by Artemiy Karpinskiy, on Flickr Nothing special on this one, except for making it some sort of "dune buggy" thing. Next we have 6811 Pulsar Charger, first of the flying vehicles of the M:Tron. M:Tron Pulsar Charger by Artemiy Karpinskiy, on Flickr As I decided that roller-balls would be the main feature of small M-Tron land vehicles, I decided that propelling rings would be the theme for their flyers. Other than than, really nothing special about this set. As usual, I decided to keep as much trans-green bits, as possible. And since we've started with the flyers, why not show the 6877 Vector Detector M-Tron Vector Detector by Artemiy Karpinskiy, on Flickr I guess this one can count as the least look-alike since I took liberty of adding four propelling rings, and overall shape of the hull is different. The MOC still has a container box attached on the bottom. And last, but not least, we have the second biggest vehicle in all the line, 6896 Celestial Forager! M-Tron Celestial Forager by Artemiy Karpinskiy, on Flickr As you can see, the original functions are saved, sans the magnets. Okay, that's about it! Please, leave your feedback, I would gladly appreciate it!
  9. V-Galactic Racing: Scarlet Hare 20X by rolli A couple of weeks ago I posted my Crimson Hornet 3000, part of the fictitious space racing game V-Galactic Racing: Now I 'unlocked' the second racer: Crazy angles and a ton of flaps make the Scarlet Hare 20X incredibly agile and a good choice for the difficult asteroid tracks! As I mentioned when posting the first racer: I will add more racers in the coming months, whenever I feel like I need to build one or need another break - after all I need to unlock them all This time I just felt like building something inorganic and angled. Looking forward to what you think - let me know! Best Markus
  10. Hello Eurobricks. It's been a long while since I actually used a forum board. I used to manage and moderate forums but ever since social media step in I essentially went into dark age of using forums as well. Anyway I am an AFOL. I'm Asian and moving around places due to the nature of my work that's why majority of my collection are minifigures. I started MOCing this year due to a local LUG Star Wars event. The first batch of LEGO sets in my childhood are mostly City, Castle and Space. I mostly like Space and I still have my original Ice Planet set, 6879 Blizzard Baron. :) Then I went to a very long dark age.... then when I resumed my LEGO collection I picked up Star Wars almost immediately and then Ninjago. It's a weird combination but I find myself stuck in both Space and Action category. I may go back to Castle if there is a proper historical theme later but for now I am preoccupied collecting CMF and those SW minifigures that I missed.

  13. Perfect future that our ancestors were waiting hasn’t come. High technologies couldn’t give happiness to everyone. Endless space was too cold and empty. Timid attempts of travelling to nearest stars have shown that there is no planet like Earth in the nearest space. And Earth was overpopulated. And even space colonies on Mars and Moon couldn’t help. There was giant lack of food and clean water. Nowadays it’s impossible to find the truth about those days. Anyway this truth will change nothing. The fact is billiards of people died. Some say the reasons were wars, famine and climate changes. Some say it was well planned genocide. New world order wasn’t perfect. Only few people could stay on Earth. All facilities were transported to space in order to clean the planet. Most of people had to go there too. Moreover progress in automation and robotechnologies made most of them unemployment. Argues between Earth and colonies turned into wars. That moment it has become obvious that humanity will disappear if it doesn’t find new home. Project “The Ark”. 30 giant space ships. There were 100 billions of cryocells on every ship. They had to start the journey to the far space in order to find a planet, where the colony could be set up. Those days navigation was too bad to find a way back. So it was one way ticket. Potential colonists were very different: there were enthusiasts, refugees, criminals, scientists, beggars, homeless, businessmen and politics. Some of them were looking for better life, some wanted to save the humanity and some searched new opportunities. And the project failed. After decades of quest only 8 ships have found a suitable planet. The others had to survive in severe conditions. And 10 ships were lost. However this poor steps become the base of true human expansion to space. SHIPtember 2015: The Ark by Sunder_59, on Flickr

    [MOC] Delphina Leuca (SHIPtember)

The Monodon Class transport ship is ideal for the migration of large groups of individuals across the solar system. With its massive fuel tank in the rear and large amount of cargo space along the spine, few ships are better for long star voyages. Though well equipped to detect and transfer information due to the sizeable frontal sensor array, the lack of armaments makes the addition of escort ships alongside these behemoths a common sight. My 20-odd hour entry to Simon's Sci-fi festival of SHIPtember. Based on this bit of <a href="http://benhassad.dev...eship-74260485" rel="nofollow">concept art</a> It falls in just over 110 studs in length. I had a lot of fun doing the front but began to run out of both bricks and time for the back. Still a better showing than glorified frame of last year. Apologies for the bad picture, I had to make do with a less than stellar camera and a sunny porch. Better pictures may be taken at a future post-September date. 15. Happy Force Friday everyone! The frigate is one of top ships for screen time during the Clone Wars, and also seen in Episode III, but it has no LEGO model, so I made one for it! It has 2 Separatist stickers on the side, and I think it works great on this scale! This is actually one of the only scales that will work since you need the shape of those 2 large front pieces, so I'm glad they exist! I also love the tiny details on the buildings on top. Building a spaceship halp.

Hi folks! Booklovingbuilder here, and I am trying to build a lego spaceship(or perhaps mecha) out of a bunch of disparate Insectoids and UFO parts, the problem is... I simply lack building skill. I honestly don't know where to begin on a ship, what to start with, or even really what pieces are most useful. I'm trying for a somewhat simple fighter, with a moveable cockpit, wings, cannons, and an engine. I've seen tons of great ships here and elsewhere, I just have no idea how to actually BUILD something without instructions anymore. Anyone wanna help? Ideas, sample ships, literally anything would be beneficial. If there are certain sets that have been used a lot in MOCs, I'd gladly buy them. Thank you!

  24. Hello everybody, I'd like to show you my new big MOC, presented at the Italian ITlug fest last weekend, in Lecco. It is a working roller coaster, build up using the "roller coaster factory" system. The roller coaster is called "Space Oddity" as a tribute to the great song, and it represent a bad-ending space travel, with initial ramp up to the faraway planets and the fast crash with two space shuttles crashed on foreing planets. The entrance building represent the NASA Vehicle Assembly Building, the front wall can be easily take out to llok inside. Hope you like: Bye Teazza
